Welcome to Effective Immediately, a production of the Black Effect Podcast Network and iHeartRadio. Yo, it's Effective Immediately. I'm DJ Head.

And it's your favorite homegirl, Gina Views.

You know, we slightly distracted right now. It's a lot of weather elements happening in Southern California at the moment. So, you know, we got the dudes on in the studio, which you should never do unless you're broadcasting like live.

We don't even do news.

Yeah, but it's like tornadoes happening in California. In Southern California, there's a hurricane. This nigga's golfing in the rain. It's all kind of shit going on.

I left my house this morning. The rain was so hard.

It was crazy.

It was crazy.

Yeah. You know people in the Midwest and the East Coast and the South, they make fun of us, how we react to weather. Yeah. Because they always getting... It's like, hey, bro, just because your weather machine be on bullshit... You know we were supposed to go out last night, too. Yeah.

We were supposed to go to that event.

Oh, yeah.

But I hit her. I'm like, girl, this rain.

No.

And she was like, I know, but I'm just hoping people still come out.

People still showed up.

You know, she's not from L.A., so I wanted to tell her, like, L.A. people do not F with the rain.

We don't really do that. And I know this, too, because I have homies from Florida. And, you know, Florida, like, you'll be standing on the sidewalk, and across the street is thunderstorm. Yes. But you got a tank top on and flip-flops because it's 90 degrees. And so the homies from Florida... And the homies from Texas, they don't take weather serious at all. I remember I went to Texas.

I was in Dallas. And they had, you know how, this, now I kind of understand how people from other places, when they come to L.A. and they experience a light earthquake. You know, for us, a five, you be like, yeah. Like, yeah, okay, yeah, we had an earthquake this morning. It was whatever. And we go, we be out doing our thing. Nigga, I'm in Dallas. We got the crab shack, right?

Watch your mouth, though.

We eating seafood, right?

I don't even like how it just came out your mouth.

Hey, look, I'm with you. But you know what I'm saying? You see it. But like....

I was about to reply to somebody in the comments today, but it was on a revoked page. My best friend said, he said, Gina, do not let Revolt know who they hired. Yeah. He said, don't let them know who they hired yet.

No, no. We joking, but... Slightly, but... But the homie was like... I was out of pocket because we eating our food and you hear the... Like, it sound like the perch. And it was a tornado alarm. And mind you, like, we know about tornadoes, but I've never... been somewhere and they like you got a duck and cover right bro it's people ordering shots like they ain't even regular whole regular like phone you know we get the amber alerts yeah phone going off severe weather alert severe weather i'm like hey my nigga where's the where's the bomb shelter yeah they like they like they're like oh no no we good it's gonna miss us by two miles i'm and i'm doing the math i'm like two miles that's like right there yeah yeah you know what I'm saying

I did two miles on the track in high school fool like that's eight laps my nigga like the tornado eight laps away bro so I'm tripping and they laughing at me like this west coast nigga I'm like bro so y'all don't take none of this shit serious and they like nah we good then this nigga told me that they go in the backyard and watch the tornadoes pass by like it's like it's like.

What yeah I think it's a drive-by.

Yeah, like it's regular.

Like it's a firework show.

Yeah, like it's a drive-by. They just be like, oh, yeah, sometime me and the wife, we make some food. We can get a tornado warning. We go out on the back porch because they got land. And we watch the tornadoes go by.

I mean, the one we just saw on the news, that was very entertaining. So I probably would be a tornado watcher. But I think people forgot. Me and Desiree was just talking about this. And I asked my mom about it, too. And she told me I was crazy. She don't remember this. There was a tornado in the hood.

Yeah.

In, like, 2004 or, like, five or something like that. Yes.

One tore the roof off the routes over there. In, like, off, like, what was that off? I think it was off Carson Street or, like, Long Beach Boulevard or something.

There's a video of it on YouTube if you type it in. But somebody put it up, like, way, way, way after it happened or whatever. I think the video said, like, 2014 or, like, 2011 or something like that. But I know for a fact that's not when it happened. But it was on, like, Western or something.

Mm-hmm.

And for us to get a tornado, I just want to know, are y'all playing with the weather or is that Rachel over here?

It's both. So I think Rachel is here and that let that give them the cover to start playing with the weather machine. Cause you know, like the white people start messing with shit when other shit be going on. So like, you know what I'm saying? Like, like if, like if Trump want to get some shit off, he do it while like other shit be going on. So like, like he went and got the Venezuelan president. While we was dealing with some other bullshit. You know what I'm saying?

Like he be doing, they do that type of, but anyway. But yeah, that's what we going through. And the other thing that I wanted to point out about it is I feel like, I don't know about climate change. I'm not fully educated. I know about it, but I'm not fully educated on what's causing it and why and all that.

But I do know that New York is starting to want to be LA so bad. Not from no gangbanger shit, but they having earthquakes. What? Yeah, so they had an earthquake like last year, and I'm noticing us getting Florida. You know, it'd be raining, and it'd be 70 degrees outside. Right, right, right. So it's like the coast is switching.

Yeah.

And I'm kind of not, I'm not really fucking with that.

I wouldn't mind some snow, though. You know I've never been in snow before.

Take your ass over there. There's plenty of, hey, they'll love to have you. Joe Budden, fly Gina out. When y'all have y'all bullshit going on, and y'all can do all that, I don't want nothing. I don't want to switch.

Did the rain knock out the fires?

No. The fires still going on? What usually happens is the fires happen, and then there'd be so much stuff in the atmosphere, and then it rains after the fires. But then because of the fires, the fire would burn up everything. Right. Then we get so much rain that the mud, the foundation, then we get the mud slides, and then the mud goes down and clogs up the drains, and we get the floods. Right. And then we just not ready for all that yet. It was flooded by my house. And this not even like our big one.

Like if you in L.A. and Southern California, you know like the Super El Nino is on the way. This ain't even the big shit.

See, I need my little stuff that I got to get done. I need that to happen when El Nino come so I can sit in the house.

And enjoy it. You just ride it out.

I was so mad today that I had to be outside. I like enjoying the rain from inside the house because I like opening all my windows. I love the smell of rain.

Rain smell? Yeah. What do it smell like?

I can always smell when rain coming.

You can smell when the rain is coming.

We all could, though. It smell like rain.

You too, Irene?

Yeah, it's my favorite smell. It's a very refreshing smell.

Damn. I mean, I wouldn't know.

I wish they would make some sort of, like, home fragrance.

So if a nigga wore rain? No. Okay.

No. You know how we say, like, gas smells good?

My cousin used to say that. She was weird.

But I would never want to smell gas on somebody.

So you wouldn't want a man to come to your house and he smell like rain?

No. He need to smell like some very expensive cologne.

Damn.

I like when men smell like something. I like a good fragrance on a man. I don't like a nigga smelling like the day before yesterday.

Can you tell when a man put too conflicting scents on him? Like, because I heard people mix they scents. Like, girls mix they scents.

Yeah, we do mix ours.

So, do the men do that, too?

Men do it, too. But I never can tell because it just smells like a mixed fragrance. It's a very acquired smell. Like, if you know how to mix them right, it's very, it'll get you the draws.

Really? So, it's like, it'd be like garlic butter and lemon pepper go together well, but not teriyaki. Sure. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. How was your week? Man, my week, I had a lot of Aaron Drake shit going on. You know what I'm saying? Personal. My microwave broke. My mom came to stay with me. My garbage disposal still ain't fixed.

Did you ever get your dishwasher fixed?

Dishwasher still ain't fixed. So it's just like my internet went down. I got into a spectrum. I told you about that.

We are having that spectrum, but T-Mobile is having a big outage right now.

I know.

You got T-Mobile?

The whole time we were, spoiler alert, Gina and I did Big Boy. I didn't have service all day.

Oh.

T-Mobile was out the whole day we was at Big Boy.

See, I just be thinking it's my phone.

No, I didn't have no service, zero service.

That's what I was telling Irene and Silas. I don't have no service.

No, zero service. I mean, what I did was I had to, you know how you do a soft reset where you press the button fast and you hold it? I had to do a soft reset and then connect to the Wi-Fi just to get my service back. I don't know what's going on with T-Mobile, but no. But other than that.

You always got to do the network reset.

Do the network reset.

You know I used to.

Oh, yeah. So people do the airplane mode sometimes. But I actually go in. I like to reset the sim. Mm-hmm. But anyway, I got my service back. Other than that, it's been pretty solid. We've been doing a lot. We've been working a lot. We was outside. We saw Wiley. Yes. But before we get to the Wiley thing, I want to ask you this question. And also Irene. Okay. So you like nice things. Mm-hmm. Um, I'm on my way to, to the state, to the radio station and I'm making a left. I'm making a left on this street and I see this dude like hopping out this, he hopping out a car, like a nice car. And I don't know if you want to. Can you hold your bag up so people can see it? This man, this man with the keychain hopped out with your bag.

He had this one?

Not your keychain. He had that.

R & B bitch keychain now?

He had a keychain like you have yours on your bag. That same bag. he hopped out the car with his bag. Grown-ass man. He didn't seem like he was... He seemed like he liked what I liked. Like, he was straight. Like, it didn't... But it was just like... It just... It made me slow down a little bit. Yeah, it was like, hold on. Because I was just trying to put... I was trying to carry the one and figure out what was going on. I was trying to figure out what was going on.

Was he headed to the passenger side?

No. To get his girl out of the car? He was driving... No, there was no... There was no legs. Okay, you want to be honest? It was three niggas in the car. Oh, okay. I'm going to say that part. It was three niggas in the car. He was driving. He jumped out and started fixing his shit and grabbed his purse. And I was just like, I didn't know if I was missing something, if that's the new thing.

Well, the new niggas are wearing purses. They're also buying their homeboys purses. And they're also wearing platform shoes. I've seen the platform shoes. I didn't know they were buying their homies purses. Yeah, they're buying their homies purses.

They buying their homeboys purses.

We actually had a guest here, and I'm not going to say the guest. I'll tell you when we finish. But before the guest came, I thought that we were the same height because I was around him before and we was backstage at a show. And then when we interviewed him, he was really tall. Me and Desiree had a whole argument about how tall this man is. So I'm telling Desiree, I'm telling you, he tall. She's like, Gina, I'm telling you, that nigga is your size. And I'm like, no.

I know what you mean, because when I seen him backstage, I had heels on, but you know I be thinking I'm taller than I am anyway. So, we going back and forth, we going back and forth. Why she go to his page and find the pumps? The new niggas is wearing heels and purses.

Okay, so.

And getting tooth gems. And smoking hookah.

No! I don't even know what the question is. I'm trying to figure out.

Yeah, because where was you going with it?

I wanted to know if that was a thing.

It's a thing.

And I wanted to know, are the women going?

Like... I mean, there's women that.

Because I'm old, nigga. I'm out the loop. I don't know, like, you know what I mean? You got to think about it like this. If you little so-and-so doing this and tiny infant doing that and I don't, you know.

It ain't going to be no infants doing it.

Fact.

But you got to think about it like this. Probably the era, maybe the decade right before you was anti-two earrings.

Yeah.

You know, like, because I think your era was cool with the... It's half of it, probably.

Yeah, half and half. It was split. One on the left, and then they started doing two. My homies started doing two as we were, like, getting older.

So probably, like, the bottom half of that decade then. But also the fingernails.

I did see a nigga with his fingernails painted.

You can't touch my stuff with no nail polish on.

So, what about the clear coat? Because I heard the clear... Where they do the clear coat?

I'm cool with a clear coat.

Okay.

I'm cool with a clear coat.

But any color? No. So, but technically clear coat is nude.

No, it's clear. I need to see your cuticles. I need to be able to see your cuticles with a clear coat.

Also, I heard like... So... When girls be like, oh, you keep your nails nice and trimmed. I be like, okay. And when you look at her, I look at her like this. She's like, oh, I'm glad you looked at her like that. And I was like, why? She said, because when niggas look at her like this, is that a thing too?

Oh, I might need to add that to my ink list. What's her reasoning though? So men can't do this. Y'all have to do this.

Yeah. We do this. She said, men, you supposed to look at your nails like this. She said, if a nigga do this.

I might need to unpack that with her.

Okay. Yeah. I might need to unpack that with her.

Yeah, because that one new.

Okay.

But I.

That ain't new. Oh.

Let me find out. Let me find out. I got a new sign that I need to look for. But I like when men get their nails and their feet done.

Yeah.

Like, to me, that's like, you just practicing self-care. You clean. Like, I really appreciate that.

What about the eye patches?

I'm cool with the eye patches.

You go to a man's house... He answer the door, he got the eye patch.

No, he should have them before. They just need to be done and he need to be, his under eyes need to be hydrated before I get there. I don't want to see him.

Okay.

But I'm cool with you. But we not laying on the couch with both of our things on.

Like, he got the, what, he got the red light mask?

I'm going home. I'm going, he won't get any head.

Hey, he's got the red light.

I'm not sucking no dick.

He got the red light mask and a bonnet.

A bonnet cool depending on like, how your hair is cause you.

Do gotta take care of your hair so I don't know if I if I asked you this before too cause I had a homie damn I was about to say his name uh oh I wanna say his name it's so bad anyway his name started with a C he know who I'm talking about I knew who you was talking about that one? no no not him he have a drawer like for the ladies like are you cool with that? no like I'm talking about he got extra toothbrushes tampons bonnets brand new everything in the wrapper Like, what's it called? Exfoliating gloves, the iPad. He got a whole drawer.

I appreciate that you have that and you're considerate of the women, but that just make me wonder, like, is this a hotel? Like, am I coming to a hotel?

I mean, he was like that.

You know?

What was your week like?

I had a good week. I finally got my car back. So my car is freshly painted. They repainted my car. I can still smell the paint. It look like I just got it off the lot. It don't look like it's about to be paid off.

You just got your car back, repainted everything. It's rain. Rain and mud and dirt and shit.

Oh, my goodness. I was driving through, like, the puddles and stuff. You know, it get that little dirt, like, right behind the wheel. I was trying to avoid that so bad.

Yep.

But, yeah, I got my card done. I wanted to shout out the body shop that did it. Remind me to shout them out next week. I need to find out the name of it. I mean, if you need a body shop, though, DM me, and I'll send you the folks because they really took care of me.

Yeah.

That's why I had that black Benz.

Oh, for real?

And that's what everybody kept saying, like, why did they give you a black Benz? Because I had a white Benz.

I don't know. Oh, okay.

Yeah, that's why I had that.

That wasn't.

You thought I was driving a nigga car.

I didn't ask no questions.

That's what everybody kept asking me.

Like, what nigga car you got? That ain't got nothing to do with me. You know what I'm saying?

But yeah, I had a good week.

I also.

I'm actually in the middle of a photo shoot as I'm talking to you right now.

Oh, shit.

So my hair look crazy up under here. That's why I got... My hair is like this. That's why I'm dressed alike. That's why I'm looking like DJ Head. My makeup started running because the rain started hitting my face. So that's why I have to cover up my eyes and stuff. I'm... tmi i don't have nothing on under here well that's why i'm buttoned up all the way to the top this is why i can't move this jacket bigger than me yeah i think i got i think my jacket bigger than your jacket i think this is a double.

Xl this is only a large this.

Motherfucking big i have this my i've been having this jacket for like four years this is my second time wearing it like this is a really nice coat though yeah Um, what else did I do? I hosted Wale's show at the Blue Notes.

Yeah, we gonna talk about that. Oh my goodness.

Um, and I released some new freestyle videos for R & B Bitch.

You and Jason Cash.

Yes. We got Shamton 16 and then Jason Cash. If you head over to my YouTube at Gina Views, go show us some love. Tell a friend and tell a friend and tell another friend that A brand new video from R & B Bitch was just released. Share it. Post it. Subscribe. You know, all the things. We went to Big Boy. We put up on Big. Is that all we did? I feel like we did more.

We did a hell of stuff.

Because I have a lot of shit in my calendar.

I mean, we did stuff that we haven't.

We can't talk about.

That's not coming out yet.

Let me look at my calendar real quick. Because I was looking at this motherfucker like, it's too much shit on here. It's too much shit. Oh, you went to Fat Joe.

Yeah, I went to Fat Joe.

Oh, I went to Lil Baby's.

Album listening party.

Album listening.

Oh, did I talk about that already? I don't think so.

I don't know.

I don't think so.

Okay, I went to Lil Baby's. I listened to the album before it came out.

It is good.

I like the girl stuff on there. And then I also did Horrible Decisions. So Mandy and Weezy was out here.

Oh, okay.

So I did theirs. That should be dropping pretty soon.

Oh, I did go see Fat Joe. Can I? Yeah, I want to talk about that. Go ahead.

Oh, and then we went to John Legend's.

Oh, his album listening.

Album listening, yeah.

So we can talk about that, too. But, damn, I forgot about it. That's what I'm saying. We did a lot. There's so much going on. Okay, so Fat Joe came to L.A. He did Jam Car. Shout out to Laura. Shout out to Laura.

Shout out to my girl, Laura.

Look out, Laura. Laura be looking out.

Laura be looking out.

So Jam Car had this private Fat Joe curated session for it really, to be honest, and we're going to get to the Wale thing. Everybody outside campaigned for Grammys.

Okay, is that what all this is?

Yes. Okay. So, Fat Joe, i when when you first hit me about it i was like i like hell yeah i fuck with fat joe i like fat joe like not not only are we cool but like i'm a fan of fat joe and so i'm expecting fat joe to pull up he gonna do like two two three songs and he finna be out man that nigga pulled up they threw a whole it was a whole thing like um I forgot the owner's name of the jam car thing, but Fat Joe pulls up. He brought my boy Dre. Shout out to Dre from Kool and Dre.

Dre was there. And Remy Mott pulled up. Man, when I tell you, them niggas did a whole show. They did a whole concert. Like, it was 40 minutes. That's fire. Of Fat Joe and Remy Mott going back and forth. She did her shit. She was doing B-sides. Like, it was dope. Yeah. And then.

Did she do my favorite song that I always be talking about?

Which one?

We up in this room. It's the R & B song.

No. She did all that hardcore rap shit. Oh, okay. She did like the underground shit. And then Fat Joe got into his underground bag a little bit. Then they brought out Jimmy Jam from Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Jimmy Jam got on the piano and started playing all the Janet cuts. I wasn't going to tell you about it because I knew you would have been mad. He started playing all the Janet shit and the crowd was singing Janet.

What?

So he got on the keys. He got on the keys. Because Fat Joe was like, look, bro. I'm a music fan. And I'm not finna let these legends be in this room. And we not acknowledge these legends. It was some niggas in there. So Jimmy Jam just happened to be. He was in there low, too. Like by himself. Like real humble.

And Jimmy Jam is here, bro. You finna come over here and get on this stage. It's a keyboard right here. And the keyboarder set it all up for him. He was like. hey bro this you yeah and jimmy jam got on that keyboard and start blessing them motherfucking keys and got to playing all that janice shit and the crowd was singing her lyrics and shit it was fire oh that's amazing it was hard and then remy um i mean i read me uh fat joe and andre and remy was doing backgrounds it was hard it was just like and it wasn't like you could tell like it was improv it wasn't like they planned it or nothing it was just like fat joe was like yo who here oh no he got a.

Did you do that? It was Fat Joe and Friends, right?

It was Fat Joe and Friends. It was other people there too, but that was the extent of what I saw because I had to go.

Did he bring Jada case?

No, Jada wasn't. I didn't see Jada. Jada wasn't there. But that was a really dope experience just to be able to see that. I've seen Fat Joe perform and I've seen Remy perform a couple of times, but in that type of environment with the live, it was all live instruments. So it was almost like a Tiny Desk type situation. I know we're going to talk about Cardi, but It was almost like a tiny desk in the way they had it set up. So it was all live. Like, hearing Lean Back with a live band is different.

Yeah, that's down fire.

That shit was fire. And all the way up. And, like, they did all their hits, did B-Sides. It was dope.

Did you get to do the industry thing and go rub shoulders backstage?

Or you was in and out? Nah. Because, well, Fat Joe, I mean, I know Shout to Rich, who, you know, Fat Joe's management. And Joe saw me. Me and Dre slapped it up, like, as far as, like, hands or whatever. But it. they came right in and got right on the mic. It was like, it was really fast. But, and I kind of slid out of there before they let everybody out. You know how I get in. And so it was dope though. I would look forward to one of those, but like, you would really enjoy that.

Like them jam cards, especially the R & B ones. Cause it's all live. And if they, and what's dope about it is it wouldn't, it ain't just like, One, so they had like two guitarists, two keyboard players, two drummers. I ain't never seen a show with two drummers playing. That shit was hard.

Yeah, that sound fire.

It was hard.

But yeah, Wale did four shows at the Blue Notes.

Four sold out.

Four sold out Blue Notes shows.

After his tour.

Right. One thing Wale gonna do is bless the fans with more.

Yeah.

And I think he going somewhere else with it. I ain't gonna say it.

Oh, for real?

Yeah, he was like, you doing so good, I need you to come to the, but it's not official yet, so I ain't going to talk about it. But I was very excited to be able to bring Wale out.

Yeah, you should be. That was hard.

Like, with all of these conversations that we have about him, because we always say, like, we a power, Wale, Stan, show, now the drop, Stan, you know, shows. If there's something going on.

Beauty and Black.

Yeah, we going to talk. If they got anything going on, we're talking about it. 50 Cent.

These are the people that we just love, you know.

But that was my first time seeing Wale perform, period.

You never saw Wale?

I've never seen Wale perform.

What about at Crenshaw? Oh, yeah.

I forgot about that.

But that wasn't really his show. That wasn't. That was me just bringing him out and doing it.

And I was late.

You was late.

I was late.

But you saw, you was there when he.

I saw him when he got off stage.

Yeah.

But yeah, but I was late.

He performed at Crenshaw High for Nike LA.

During All Star Weekend.

All Star Weekend. Yeah, yeah.

But yeah, I had never been to a Wale show before. Concert, anything. So that was dope to be able to bring him out in my city. Yeah. And he performed all the songs I wanted him to perform. He brought out Miguel on night one, show two. And then he brought out Guapale for the third and fourth shows.

That's the one I missed.

You had just left, too, when she came out.

No shit.

You had just left.

I fuck with Guapole.

I didn't know she was from the West Coast.

She from the Bay. Yeah. So, fun fact, when we get back to Wale, Guapole is, like, really into mindfulness. And one time, Debbie, my friend Debbie Brown had, I got to take you over there to her ranch. Debbie had this thing, this meditation sound sessions thing at her fucking ranch. And Guapole sat next to me for the meditation session. Nigga, I couldn't concentrate or nothing.

You didn't hold it together?

Hell no. Nigga, I'm looking at Guaple. Have you seen Guaple? She look good. Nigga, I'm like, it's her and Maya. I'm just like, bro, what the fuck?

Maya look good. Wait, Maya was there?

No, no, no. I'm saying both of them, like you can't not look at them. Right. And she was nice and shit. I'm just like, man, listen, bro, you better leave me alone, bro. I was scared to ask her if she wanted to hit you. Go ahead, sorry.

I was scared to ask her for a picture.

You didn't get a Guaple picture?

I got it, but I didn't ask for it.

Man, you better cut that shit out.

The photographer was like, he was like, you need that Guaple picture. And he just walked, and I was like, no, no, no, stop. And before I could even finish trying to, you know, stop.

Him, she was like, yeah, come on. Shout out to my dude, Ricky, who be doing the photos over at the Blue Note, man.

We had took the picture, and I had just told her, like, You were all of our graduation songs.

Facts.

And then remember when YG remixed it?

Yeah.

Then we was doing it, you know, YG was played at the graduations. But, no, I had a good time at the Blue Note. Obviously, you know me, panic attack every time before I hit the stage. Because they gave me this long passage to read. And Chrissy walked over and she said, Gina, you're going to bore the fuck out of them. You're not saying that. She took my iPad and remixed, rewrote, redid some shit. It ended up being like four lines.

Got it off.

They loved it.

Yeah.

They loved it.

I mean, even when I got there and you showed it to me, I'm like, why they got you doing this? This is not a, this ain't a sermon. It looked like a sermon.

Yeah.

It was down in his bio. Yeah, but nah, you did it right. I think it was dope too that they used you on the recap. On the recap, yeah. When you saw that, what was you thinking?

I'm like... There's no way that somebody who I was... I mean, I'm having these same, like, moments with, like, a fabulous Wale, obviously. And it's like, there's no way that these people who I was obsessed with when I was a kid, I'm actually doing things with them or they're doing something for me. You know? So when I had heard my voice on a recap... Because first I watched it with no audio. And then... I'm like, let me see what they're saying. And I got like the end of my voice and I started over. I'm like, they use my voice for the intro to recap. But this is just like I'm trying to get to the point where I'm just like comfortable with my reality being my dreams. Like I was telling you yesterday when we

did Big Boy, like I can't believe I'm sitting here hearing this bell.

That i used to hear on the way to school yeah because.

I didn't know that i was a real bell i always thought it was like audio playing underneath them and um i don't know this shit is just life is just crazy i'm blessed i i'm extremely.

Blessed though no that's that was dope to me two things stood out for the wildlife show for from my perspective one is seeing you do your thing because the people know who you are and they fuck with you and it was like damn like when you was, cause when you was walking up there and you was like, yo, what up everybody? And everybody was kind of settling down or whatever. They're like, that's Gina. That's Gina. And I was like, I was looking like, damn, that's crazy. And I'm trying to, I'm in, I'm, I'm trying to be, I'm trying to get your video. I'm trying to get a video. I'm looking like the, you know how like the dads be at the talent shows. I'm like, nigga, bitch move. I'm trying to get the shot. That's Gina.

So they camera in my way and my camera, I'm just like, And I know I'm not supposed to be, they paid to be there. Yeah. So I'm like, you know how like the niggas be fighting over the VIP, moving the chicks out the way? Yeah. That's how I felt getting your video. I got Gina views. I'm like, bitch, move your shit out. I'm trying to get, this is for her. Like, you know what I'm saying? But that, and then um just seeing Wale in that environment I think that's his I think that's him that's his environment yeah like people that not that he can't do concerts like regular like he can't do the Novo or you know Microsoft Theater or whatever but I think that type of vibe gives him a certain level of comfort yeah

because even when he did When he did the show for me at Crenshaw High School, he was like, hey, what we doing? What you want to do? You know, he'd be nervous too. And I'm like, bro, what you want to do? So we kind of came up with it in real time. But I noticed he was just, he was very calm. It was like, and it wasn't as frantic as I've seen him be on stage. And with him, I noticed it's either an intimate crowd or he's comfortable with an arena he walk out calm he smoke he smoke his weed or whatever but that in between is where i notice he'd be like fidgety and shit like that and so like i think his element though is them intimate crowds or them arenas because arenas you can't really see people individually anyway it's kind.

Of too i have love i love how um like when wale gets around his real fans that like love him love him Because remember when we was at the live show, we did our live show and he was our guest. Remember, he had to go. And we trying to hurry up and get him up out of there off stage. He stayed on the stage longer than we did.

He stayed.

We was already back in our dressing room. He stayed out there with them and was taking pictures and stuff.

And he was answering questions. Yes. No, yeah. I think also in his defense, I think that he's also inundated with people that are not really his fans online. So when he go outside and he's interacting with his fans, it's a different experience. I talked to Rob Markman about this, too, after Jay-Z did the three shows at the Yankee Stadium.

Me and Rob was having a conversation, because Rob was going through some shit online at the time, and me and Rob Markman was having a conversation on the phone. And it was just, I ain't going to disclose our conversation, but it was about The Internet is not real. Yes, there are real people on the Internet, but the Internet itself is not a reality for you. So if you just go outside, you'll realize that humans fuck with you.

Yeah.

And I think that's what Wale realizes in real time when he's in these environments with his fans. I think that happens to all of us, though.

Yeah, I think that that's where my anxiety kind of comes from, too.

What?

Because it's like I get so much like I get a lot of love, too. So I'm not going to sit up here and act like I get so much negative comments. But the negative comments are what's in the back of my mind when I'm going on stage. This person going to say this about this. This person going to say this about that. Like, down to, like, that bitch outfit was wrinkled. Or, you know, like, something like that.

I didn't like that hairstyle on her.

Or, you know.

But it's like, if you're on the internet too long, or if you, like, if you saturate yourself in too much online talk or online conversation, you damn near forget that real life, that the opinions online are not the same as the opinions online. in public, you know? Um, but for Wale, like, just about, like, his, um, like, with the crowds and things, I had asked him, because, you know, obviously, the blue note is a very intimate, calm setting, everybody sitting down. So, I had been wanting everybody to stand up when he came outside. I wanted to treat that motherfucker like it was the Novo. Like, I don't know if you were still there when I said, I want to see a light show on this bitch.

You might have, okay.

So, like, I had asked him, because we had got to the fourth show. No, after the third show, I had asked him, like, I don't want to throw you off and have everybody standing up when you walk out. Like, is it okay if I have everybody like, cause you know, if he walk out, everybody's sitting down. I didn't want to throw him off. He said, Gina, this your world.

Please had him standing up. Cause I'm about to walk through the crowd when I come out. And that's exactly what he had did. But I'm thinking anxiety. I'm thinking like, I'm not trying to switch to this. Not my show.

Yeah. You don't know about you.

Exactly. Like, but I'm like, I need everybody on a feet when this nigga walk out. And I think it was really, really nice for him to see the love. that he has in real life because he does let the mentions get the best of him. You know, the tweets and stuff like that. Exactly. Like, you're going to see Wale. If you open your timeline, you're going to see Wale checking somebody. You know, and I'll be having to tell him. I even told him yesterday, like, hey, log out. I said, log out. Find you a gummy and log out right now. Find you a gummy. I told that nigga, I said, find you half a gummy.

and log out because i know what that's like to when i was at that last platform i was all in my head over shit that i was like you know seeing on the internet and stuff but shout out to wale shout out to cash out to henny and thank y'all so.

Much for letting me be a part of the oh um shout out to malcolm spellman and yes and emil pinock uh malcolm spellman who's showrunner uh and creator of the drop a snowfall saga emil one of the directors writers producers um I brought them to meet Wale because Wale is a super... He loved the drop. He's a fan of the drop. And so I was talking to Emil earlier that day. I think we was talking. He was like, yo, let me know whatever's going on. Like, you know, I'm going to try to pull Malcolm in.

I want him to shake some hands. I said, well, I'm going to Wale's shit. I wish you would have told me that. He was like, well, when is the show? I said, well, he got another one tonight. You know, Gina's still hosting. So let me know if you... He was like, let me call Malcolm. And he was like, malcolm's down the road let me see can you you know hook it up so i called the homies they like so i hit cas cas was like bro we love that show and he said i got some shit i want to talk to them niggas about bring them through oh that's amazing so i was like bet so that's why when you pulled up we was already in there and um while they just loved the show so much while they called me every week about this damn

show and like most people do because the show is good but Wale was like I mean Malcolm Wale had been sharing with me early like episode 2 or 3 he had been sharing with me how he felt about the series long text 45 minute phone call whatever and I was like damn I gotta get him to meet Malcolm because they're kind of the same kind of creative they're kind of anti-social but not on purpose it's just that's how they are and I just told Malcolm I mean I asked Wale I was like yo you mind if I tell Malcolm and them how you feel about the show he's like yeah it's all good so I told them like yo Wale loves our show bro like he fucks with the drop like in a real way not as a fan like he be hitting me with

character breakdowns and character arcs and like he really is into this shit so they was like yeah let's can we meet him I'm like yeah so I set it up and man they told when I told you we'll be back when I took them back there to meet him Henny, shout out to my homegirl, Noelle. She was producing the show.

Oh, shout out to Noelle. She took care of me.

Yeah, Noelle's good. She's a good human being. They told us, look, we're going to take y'all back. We got literally three minutes because while they got to go on stage, because Noelle's about to send Gina on stage. So I was like, all right, bet. Man, them niggas talked for like eight, nine minutes. So Noelle had to come back. She left you and came back in the dressing room and was like, hey uh sold out show like it's while they was like oh my bad my bad my bad my bad we gotta go we gotta go and so we just took it we we just left it there or whatever but i'm just glad that they got to meet him in that way too.

Isn't it nice that you're able to do stuff like that.

Yeah they were really great that feels good that was dope.

My boy that you had met so that's my childhood friend we went to high school together he's a super you probably didn't recognize him but he was the one that Walked up at the live show and was answering all the questions from the stage when.

We had did the live show. Oh, yeah.

He fucking loves Wale. And, like, he had hit me like, Gene, the show sold out in six minutes.

Yeah, he couldn't get tickets.

Can you please figure it out? But at that point, I wasn't hosting.

Yeah.

So he had hit me like, because I found out I was hosting, like, the night before, I think. And he had hit me, like, the day before that. And he was like, like, you hit them? Like, can you figure something out? I'm like, it's tight. I don't know. I'm like, I'm on the guest list, but it's me and Desiree.

Right. Like, you know. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

But to be able to, you know, get a plus one and bring somebody that's like a super fan, like, that's just dope to me.

Yeah.

Twins was mad at me that I didn't bring them to Lil Baby. They love Lil Baby. So remind me if we ever get any, I mean, call them and press to me.

Oh, they pressed you? Yes. Damn.

They pressed me. They love Lil Baby.

Yeah. You know it's messed up, and I don't want to sidetrack because I want to talk about a drop, but to our defense, we do this shit every day. So it's hard to remember, like, Irene, I know I can't do nothing J. Cole. Without Irene. If Irene ain't there. Like, damn near one of us got to sit out. Yes.

And I sit out every time for Irene.

Yeah, like, I can't do nothing J. Cole or JoJo on the radio. Yeah. I got to make sure Irene is straight. But it's like, it's hard to remember those things for everybody. You know what I mean? Like, but yeah. The drop this week.

I think Tiptoe about to give Artillery a run for his money.

That nigga Simba went crazy.

Simba went crazy. I texted him, but I said, hey, I said, Tiptoe better than Artillery, nigga.

Hands down.

Tiptoe is better than Artillery, period. I understand the whole woke shit and all that, but- Simba is doing such a good job as an actor in the drop that I forget that I know the person that I'm looking at. Like, obviously, we know a lot of people that's on the set, that's on the show, even in films we watch. There's been times where we've interviewed the character of something, and I can no longer see the character. I just see them because we done met them, and I personally know them.

But problem, I didn't feel like I knew him. I didn't feel like I knew Problem.

Oh, Trigg.

With Trigg, yeah.

He did good with that, too. He was a new character.

That was a new character. But Tiptoe?

Tiptoe, different.

I need Tiptoe getting an Emmy.

Tiptoe different and what's crazy is Simba's such a good talent that even though I know that I know he's dope as a rapper Simba he's dope at playing a dope rapper yes you know what I'm saying I don't know if that made sense or not but like he yeah that shit was hard as fuck that's why I couldn't wait once we got to like I think it was episode what was the second the first I think it was episode two is when they met up with DG and stripped him and shit or episode three or something like that around there When they stripped DG, and before they stripped him, if you remember the scene, DG was standing there talking to Tiptoe, and Tiptoe was like, I rap.

He said, I'm way harder than that.

I'm way harder than that. I couldn't wait for y'all niggas to get to episode seven so y'all could see this thing. And I was just like, because it's hard to like, to be honest, because I know the whole series, it's hard for me to remember what episode is what at this point. So I just don't say nothing. Right. Like, even when you was asking me about Lamar, and like, I'm like, I don't, Well, you do a really.

Good job of not revealing things because I definitely asked you if G.

Perigo was on there. You did? Yes.

And you said, I don't know. I definitely asked you that shit.

I don't remember that.

You said, I don't know.

I don't know nothing.

But I think that I might need to get into storytelling or something because even, obviously the episode not out yet, but when we had Malcolm and Emile on there, I said I want to see Tiptoe's character expand as a rapper. And I said Dara was a setup bitch. Like, I'm low-key, and when Wanda told Dara, when Wanda told Leon, like, you with this, I don't think she said weird, but I think she said something along the lines of, like, set up weird, like, grimy trifling type of thing, like something like that.

Oh, because Wanda peeped. Yes.

Them is the questions that I've been asking, knowing, well, me, like, predicting it before, you know, it happens or whatever, but that tiptoe, When he stepped to the booth, I mean, when he stepped to the mic in the booth and started rapping, I'm like, oh, I already know what season two about to look like.

I already know.

And I need them niggas beefing, dropping diss tracks. Like, he's doing great.

Yeah, man. That shit, to me, that was the episode. That was the episode. That was episodes. I mean, it was some other shit that happened, too. Yeah. But.

I am trying to figure out, though, and maybe I probably was scrolling as I was watching, but how did... Why does DG trust Tiptoe in his environment after Tiptoe being involved in the stripping earlier in the season?

So I don't think he trusts Tiptoe in the environment after the stripping. I don't think he correlates Tiptoe with that because that was Keef and Dara. So you know how it go. It's kind of like you good in this section as long as you with old boy. Okay. But I don't think he relate. I don't think Tiptoe had nothing to do with the stripping. He wasn't involved in that. If you notice, Tiptoe didn't beat him up.

He wasn't in that scene of them niggas fucking packing DG out. But I think that his disdain for artillery and what them niggas got going on overshadows what his doubt with Tiptoe. DG's like, look, I got a chance with these white people. Jenny is giving me this money for this label. and they need an album, and these niggas is fucking my shit up.

It don't matter where it come from.

I need a record, and I need an artist that's going to deliver. I got producers that I can line up with, and I got this nigga Tiptoe from the same hood that this nigga from, so I'm still get that cachet that I need. That's what I'm thinking the perspective is.

Yeah, because I was like, I mean, obviously, my POV of the music industry is, it's different than what it was, the reality that it was in the 90s. Because for me, as I'm watching, I'm like, wait, so label reps back in the day had the flexibility to just swap niggas out?

No.

You know what I'm saying? Because today it would have to be like, well, you can't bring this person because this person doesn't have a fan, a more big of a fan base than this person. This person is more viral than that person. So you aren't able to swap. artists out for another artist due to whatever their artistry is.

As far as them having better music, having more engagement on social media, having better music or whatever. The fact that if labels back in the day, it was just insert nigga. That's how I'm looking at it.

There's a real component to the industry and I'm kind of like, I don't want to say make-believe, but like... A fictional. not fictional, but like embellished, like exaggerated. So the real thing is, if you do a record deal for Gina Views, like let's say it's 92. No, you can't just swap somebody out. But a production deal is for the label. Black Banner Music, which is DG's label, he has a production deal with Jenny. So as long as Jenny gets a successful product out of Black Banner Music, she don't give a fuck. You know what I'm saying?

It's like, If I sign, if I'm Interscope and I'm doing a deal with TDE, you can give me Schoolboy Q, you can give me SZA, you can give me Kendrick. I don't care.

But I understand it better in that aspect versus two unknown artists.

Agreed. But what I'm saying is, if you can't get this unknown artist to give you a record, and his producer is also on some other shit, but this person is going to give you the record, you, as DG, DG don't care where it's coming from. Okay. He not tripping. He just like, I need something that's going to work.

Because if you remember back in, I think it was maybe episode one or two, when he couldn't even get artillery to fuck with him. Artillery wasn't fucking with DG. Wanda had to convince artillery to fuck with DG. And then once Wanda got him on board, then Wanda had to get Dara through Leon. And then Wanda had to get Lamar back. Like, Wanda had to orchestrate all of that.

Nobody's really fucking with DG.

And it seems like now that he has tiptoe, he doesn't need Wanda, Lamar.

Because tiptoe going to listen to him directly. So he don't need Wanda to go get Lamar. He don't need none of that. So the way DG is processing it, he like, bro, this is less headache. Tiptoe hungrier. He better. I ain't got to deal with all the extra shit. And I still get the streets. I still get that section that I need that cachet from because he tiptoe from over there too. That's how I'm thinking. He's looking at it.

Well, yeah, this episode was good. So next episode is eight a season? So next week is the season finale.

Season finale. But you know. Somebody else is going to die. Somebody asked me yesterday. They was like, man, how is this season going to end, bro? I'm like, hey, man. Oh, is it a cliffhanger? Oh, PB asked me that. You just asked me that today, too. But somebody else asked me about the season finale. Then PB asked me today.

is it going to be a cliffhanger or is it putting a button on the series? And I think it's both. Okay. Not the series, the season. Okay. I think it's a both. I think you don't get the cliffhanger and you're going to get some, some resolve to some of the things, but it's a lot of meat left on that bone when it comes to tiptoe though.

I like that tiptoe.

Tiptoe hard, bro.

I think tiptoe is like the, um, the underdog because we didn't expect, or at least I'll speak for myself. I didn't expect, for him to be just such a breakout character on the series. I didn't see that coming at all. But I was hoping, we know how hard Simba is. I was hoping that his skills would be able to be displayed on this show and not just him being a hood nigga. Because they could have casted him as just somebody that's just sitting in the background or just rolling in the car and stuff like that.

And it's like, no, that nigga hard, we need to see that talent showcased on this show.

And I don't want to also, I don't know if they talked about this publicly, Simba deserves props on two fronts. One, I mean, and so does Jason Martin, Problem. We call him Problem, but for writing them songs and stuff like that, the way he.

Simba wrote that?

No, Problem wrote them. Problem wrote pretty much all the original songs on the show. So, but Simba had to deliver it. And so while they was working on that, while they was working on that, one day, I think he told me the story how it happened, but Basically, that's how Nip ended up on the theme song. Like, it was Simba and Problem having a conversation. And Simba was listening to the intro of the drop. And he was like, man, that sound like some Nip shit. And then, man, it would be crazy if Nip was on there. So Problem ended up making some calls. And then they were able to get the verse from Dedication to be the verse on the drop. But it's just the way all of this stuff is coming together, to me, is just divine.

It's dope. It's authentic. It's real California culture. And if you ain't watched The Drop, you should go watch it. And make sure you watch the after show as well. This week was Dara, Elyse, Shannon. She's phenomenal. She's super dope. And people have been waiting to hear from her. Yeah. So.

Well, speaking of dope emcees, my girl, Ken the Man got in the field.

Ken the Man is underappreciated.

What's so crazy is obviously our Kinnaman interview not out yet, but we were talking to her about never being in the mix of like drama, her name being clean, you know, like people not playing with her and stuff like that. and then two weeks later literally yeah so to give the audience some context um Imani from the Joe Budden podcast him and Joe Budden and Ice were all having a back and forth because Imani was calling out Joe for his POV or his take on like female rap and basically saying like you playing Ken the man and his opinion was that she makes the same music as Meg does or Meg makes the same songs and you ridicule Meg for it but you're not doing this with Ken I don't think that Ken makes the same music

but Imani had admitted that I don't even know enough Ken the man music to even get that take off or whatever but he said I'm talking to Joe and Ice about them being... Like, contradicting themselves. Not necessarily a shot at Ken. Ken didn't give a fuck about none of that. And I respect it because she got in the booth. And it's shit hard.

Ken the Man is one of them artists where I don't... I'm not finna play with that. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Because I know she'll go make a record tonight.

I think that that's one thing, though, that if you're not familiar with her catalog, then... or you're not familiar with Ken as a person and an artist, you don't know how quick she go to that booth.

She going to go right to that.

And Ken is one of them artists I was in there. I seen her turn the verse around quick.

Like, she turns her shit. Yeah, you've been in the studio with her.

I've been in the studio with her. She turns her shit around very fast. You know, she's not one of them artists, one of them females that's just sitting in there for hours trying to figure. She don't have writers. That's all her. Like, Ken get cracking, and she don't have no problem with going at somebody.

Yeah. And she's very stern on her stance. And she's going to use the words to make you feel the most disrespected. Absolutely. She's not afraid to use all of them.

But me knowing her, I know that she didn't even take what he said serious. Nah, she was just playing with him.

She is.

That was her charged up.

When I, yeah.

That was that like that was just like that was just her pregame that was light work that was a warning shot like that wasn't like that that wasn't her her back-to-back that wasn't her yeah that wasn't her not like us like that was her like this what i can do play with my name again and not just you anybody yeah anybody.

But also she dropped that ep and so she also right it's strategy but um I think when I heard it, I was like, oh, yeah, she playing. She not even mad.

She wasn't mad.

She not even mad. So, Kenda Man is one of them. Like, I'm on record. I think the first time I had Kenda Man rap on my show was like 2018. And I told nigga, I said, she one of them ones.

Niggas can't fuck with that Kenda Man.

So, I mean, I don't know what Imani. I think something came out. They talked about it afterwards on the show or whatever. And a shot to Imani and the JVP. But they also took it as a joke. Like, they was laughing at him and shit. Imani collab post with her. Yeah, he did. Imani.

That's why I'm saying, like, he, in his defense, he was saying, like, this not a shot at her. I'm talking about what you niggas be doing. You know, but even after the fact, like, he still on them. Like, somebody going at me and y'all over here playing. And Ice was like, you wanted us to help you jump a girl?

Well, also, but you collab post with her.

That's what Mark kept saying. Like, I thought that we was all, you know, playing and joking about it or whatever.

Nah, Imani, I think Imani was serious for a second. I think, I think he, this is what I think. I think Imani was like, oh, this is funny. Like, this is cool. He collab post with it. And then I think once the net, once people start running with it, whatever, it became like, wait a minute, hold on. Like, yeah.

And then he started looking around like, wait, you niggas too? Yeah. So I can understand that, but I don't think it was serious.

I think he expected Imani. We keep calling him Imani. We sell L.A.

Imani. Is he Manny?

Is he Manny?

Oh, I don't know. They call him Imani.

I guess it's just who's talking, huh?

I guess. When Joe said it, Joe said Imani. Did he say Imani?

Not Imani? Well, anyway, I think he expected him out of them. because he's me in the friend group. Like, if somebody else tripping, you don't got to trip, because I'm going to trip for you.

Yeah, that's true, that's true. But I'm never tripping, so it's hard for me to even trip.

Yeah, I'm always tripping. You know me, it was two niggas talking about you, I put them in a group chat.

Without you. What's up with you niggas? I remember one time I was in Vegas, and you called me because you was tripping, and you was like, you're not mad enough for me, I'm going to call Silas. And you hung up on me to call Silas and talk about how mad you was about some shit about me. I'm I was just like, yeah, it's whatever.

I think that, like, since he's that friend, that he just expected, because he brought up the point, like, when you was going at this person, I did whoop-de-whoop. When you was going at that person, I did whoop-de-whoop. So I understand that. Even he said himself, like, I'm never going to do that no more. But that's not something that's on you.

That's in you.

Like, that's just who you are. You love your people, you know? But shout-out to Kenna Man for getting in the booth when she heard somebody talking about her, because... Do.

You think that also deters other rappers? Like, say, for instance, you know how, like, remember when we had the whole Ray Vaughn and Joey Badass and, like, all that stuff that was going on? So there were certain people that was, like, jumping in that probably didn't need to necessarily insert themselves, right?

But from that perspective of the Ken the Man thing, where Imani's not necessarily a rapper. She just dissed him on some playful shit, light jabs, whatever. Do you think that an artist would approach that where it's like, hey, this is also to deter you other niggas? Not necessarily dissing. I'm using you to deter everybody else, if that makes sense.

I think it's the opposite. I think it's I'm going to do this because I want somebody else to play with me.

Oh, you want somebody to try you.

Yeah.

Got it.

I want somebody to come for me.

But didn't Ken say, we got to put our interview out? because I got to watch that and see. I forgot what she, we talked.

We kind of talked about something about the, yeah.

Something like that.

But she said she got somebody on the, dang, now I don't know if I know this because I know now or if she said it.

She said it on the air.

So I'm just not going to say it.

But go listen to the Kingdom Man EP. There's some shit on there that you probably missed.

I mean, we should probably drop the episode this week now.

Okay, yeah.

But I have so much respect for her getting to feel like this because in the midst of this, Kenna Man versus Imani situation, the battle rap community is in fucking uproar because, so to give you an update on the thing with, I was telling you about Easy to Block Captain, with everything going on with him. He decided to hit the timeline and say that he's been ghostwriting for SuSurf.

His battles? Yes.

He said he ghostwritten for when he battled Cortez, JC, and one more. I don't want to get it wrong, so I'm not going to say it. But it was I want to say he said he named three of them. But specifically, he said that he wrote half of his third round against Cortez.

I believe. OK, so before you continue, is that a thing where don't don't do they not do battle rappers not collab on certain verses?

Collab in terms of sparring with each other?

Yes.

But ghostwriting is frowned upon. Like if somebody else just completely wrote your battles or wrote your rounds like that is completely like that's frowned upon. However, Cerf admitted that we're all gun titles. So when you was over here, when you was a part of this family, when I have a battle, I'm going to call all of y'all and we're going to spar together or I'm going to.

It's no different than like when I have an interview with an OG, I'm calling Sway. Hey, this is what I want to talk about. Or was it something that I need to know that happened before my time or something that, cause I don't ask, I don't ask questions from a one sheet or EPK, you know me, I'm coming with, with different type of questions that other interviewers are not necessarily going to ask. So I need to know about things that happened before my time, especially if it's like, these are people that, as you know, like not my era. So, um, so surf point was like, nigga, ain't nobody writing for me. Ain't nobody ghostwriting for me.

Like surfing, First of all, you know me. I've been saying forever, surf is up here for me. Surf, T-Rock, Jazz, Geechee, like, they are the best of the best in my, from, you know, my opinion. But he said that in the battle rap community has been in shambles, I mean, for about a week. And it started because surf was clowning easy so much about the Philadelphia jacket with the L missing.

So EZ dropped a screenshot of him in a group chat with Chess, T-Rock, and Surf, which is all the people of Gun Titles. And he pretty much, Surf was just like, is y'all up or whatever, you know? And EZ has said, like, I got you, but you really don't need no help because it's just Cortez or whatever. So that was his evidence that he helped Surf with his battles or whatever. These niggas done got in spaces.

There's been all these back and forths and all of that. So the reason why I said I have so much respect for the female, a female rapper like Ken, the man is because somebody was talking about her and she got in a booth. These niggas just been talking about surfing spaces for weeks. Ain't nobody rapping. Nobody rapping. If this nigga got ghostwriters, if this nigga, you know what I'm saying? Like all because they also was there was allegations that like he'll call other battlers to rehearse with him and stuff like that. Serf been nice before I ever, before EZ was even a part of his camp, the gun titles group or whatever. Why is none of y'all getting in the booth? Everybody is on spaces.

I think you know why.

Why?

What you mean? When Joey said what he said, certain people kind of got in the booth a little bit. Because he didn't say it as like, I wish you niggas would, but that's the energy. Yeah, yeah. So if I think two things could be true, she could be, that could be the type of time she on, like, I wish you would or whatever. But also people probably don't look at it like they probably, man, that's day beefing.

Yeah.

You know what I'm saying? It ain't, when Joey did it, it was like.

No, but this is my thing. They all got an opinion on it.

Yes.

These niggas is on Twitter tweeting about surf. It's all this surf disrespect has been going on. But you niggas is on Twitter. You know how I feel about that. Get the fuck off the timeline and get in the booth. Why is y'all talking? Y'all all rappers.

But there's no open call to invite the smoke.

Okay, I get what you're saying.

You know what I'm saying? It's not like an open challenge. It'd be different if he turned his camera on and started rapping like, you niggas can't see me.

Who won't?

Like, you gotta, now it's, okay, now it's an open call, like, for everybody to get in the booth. Yeah. But if it's just, like, dialogue, ain't nobody, plus a lot of these niggas feel like they not finna just, they get paid to do that. Yeah. That's where we at with it, too.

But they not getting paid to do it, either. Like, they get paid if they get booked, but it's just, like, one thing is, surf is fucking nice. Like, and surf is, surf is one of the artists who have elevated out of battle rap into mainstream. You know how I told you before, we had the conversation, I think you asked me this before, like, I forget exactly what your wording was, but basically, like, are these rappers able to transition into the mainstream to create music versus just being, like, battle rappers or freestylers? Surf is one of the very few, because the list is very, very small, of artists, of battle rappers who are able to also be successful in mainstream music and, like, as a mainstream rap artist. Surf

can do the girl records. He can do the gangster records. He do the hustling records.

The bars. All of it.

He do the freestyles. His bars on I-95 where we have Pull It Up is one of the most viewed of all time. Like, he's like that. You know? So, it's like, if this nigga was nice this long, you expect me to believe that he done had ghostwriters this whole time? And y'all just now saying it?

Yeah, but. Yeah, I'm going to stay out of that conversation. But I'm just.

Don't we need it for the clip?

Hell no. I'm just saying there are other people that probably have had ghostwriters or collaborators for long periods of time.

That's why they're not saying nothing about it.

Yeah. You know what I'm saying?

That was the one thing that Hitman Holla has said because he has started a space too. And he has said like, if you niggas done had niggas email y'all rounds or y'all got writers that's a part of your team that's been writing for you, y'all all need to shut up on Twitter right now. And I guess he might know some stuff that the public doesn't know.

I think that there's, to me, I don't look at battle rap as any different than regular music industry stuff. I think there are collaborators. I think there's co-writers. And the allure of it is it's a sport, and we want people to, like, they have, we want it to be real. But the reality is, like you said, it's battle rap. These niggas will go up there, say the most crazy things about each other, shake hands, and go eat. Right.

So at the end of the day, it's no different than a Laker game to me. it's competition and it's a sport. Whereas the, the fans, the fans want to believe that, that the fans in our, in our minds, we want to believe that Yoke, that Yoke is hate LeBron. Yeah. They can't even be in the same room together because Yoke is in LeBron. I'm going to get into a physical fist fight. That's the allure for the fan perspective.

The real perspective, them needs probably have a group chat. I know of a group, not between them niggas, but I know of a group chat between niggas that probably people wouldn't think they in a group chat together. You know what I'm saying? So to the battle rap perspective, I don't think that they operate any differently than people who record regular music. But, you know, hopefully I want to go out there. I wasn't going to show you this, but I wanted to show you this. And you can say, smack, pull up.

Oh, I got that DM.

You got it? Yeah. Oh, yeah. I was waiting to set it up before, but yeah.

Well, I ran into him at ComplexCon.

Who?

Smack.

Oh, really?

Yeah, we texted and everything. But I told him because I want him to do it for us. Yeah.

So, yeah, I told him. Smack don't do many interviews. He don't do interviews. So, yeah, Smack and Mush and the whole team, Smack, you're going to be out here. Definitely pull up on us. We're going to set that up.

But other people that's in the field and the booth, Megan Thee Stallion been doing these Tina Tuesdays. Tina Tuesdays?

Every time I hear Meg Thee Stallion do her freestyle shit, I be like, oh, that's why she like that.

Mm-hmm.

She, Meg be rapping.

She said all eyes on me. I feel like Tina Shakur. Megan is, not only is she's rapping good as fuck, she look good doing it.

Yeah.

And I think that this is a different, because everybody like be trying to clown her for her Meg flow, like, oh, you're going to have to see, you're going to rap about the same shit, da-da-da-da. This was a different flow for me.

Yeah, I like, I like it.

Even the beat, The beat was a little different.

It was different for her. But to Meg's point, I've heard Meg rap on everything. She can rap on some shit with Beyonce.

I don't know why they play with Meg so much.

Same reason they play with Lotto.

The whole.

It's because she light skin.

The Texas girls, that Mona Leo, that Megan, that Ken, they can rap.

It's other people too, but to be honest... Okay, let's do this. What female rappers don't they play with? Okay.

They don't play with Meg, though. I mean, they don't play with a Mona Leo. They don't play with Ken outside of this one-off. They play with Lotto. They play with Cardi. They play with Koi.

So all the successful ones.

I guess when you reach that threshold.

When you reach a certain level. Not that the other ones aren't.

Oh, and that Libra Joe Lee.

Yeah, Libra Joe.

That Libra Joe Lee. She's hard, too.

She's hard.

The Texas, they got some shit in Texas.

The reason I say they're successful is I'm thinking is because I think you know how like you're a fan of somebody and then once they cross a certain threshold where everybody's a fan you feel like now you don't have an intimate connection with that artist that you love anymore I think that's something to be said about the female rappers more so than the male rappers because the female rappers I notice everybody like when Glow first I remember when Glow really first got signed to CMG I think Gotti got her I remember when she posted a video because, you know, she's a social media girl. She posted a video of her running around like, oh, my God, and he got her that Maybach truck or something like that.

And she was so excited. And I remember her having nothing but support. When FNF came out, nothing but support. And then over the years, as she elevated, the hate started coming, more hate, more hate. Same thing with Cardi B. I was there when Invasion of Privacy first came. I was there when she came to the radio station to promote Invasion of Privacy pregnant.

Mm-hmm.

Oh, it was, oh my God, Cardi, Cardi. And now, you know what I mean? So I think once you hit a certain threshold of stardom and you have more fans than what people came up with you, those people that kind of came up with you kind of feel a way. And I don't know what that is. I don't have a description of that. But to me, that's been my experience with watching female rappers get bigger and bigger and bigger. Because even Mona Lisa wasn't that big until like the last couple years.

Yeah.

But I remember her. She was hard. But as she got more success, it's like people start to play with you. Like, oh, is she really? And I don't know why that is. I don't know what that is.

I think it kind of, to a certain extent, goes back to the Wale conversation about what's happening in your phone versus what's happening in real life. Because everything that we're both referring to right now is what we see on social media. But them shows is packed. So the online hate. is a thing, but it doesn't reflect in real life. Now, if they shows was empty or they didn't have views and things like that, then I probably would think that it was the hate that they get online was a reflection of what's happening in the real world.

But it's not.

And you know what? I'm going to be honest. You niggas is bots. A lot of this shit is bots.

I don't like when niggas don't know that they a bot. Like, if your shit say commentary account, like, use a bot. If they hide your comments, use a bot. If when you comment on something, we got to scroll all the way down to hit, uh, see hidden comments, use a bot.

Your niggas be bots, bro.

That means social media is recognizing you as a bot.

Use a bot, bro. Um, to, to make, to make a nostalgia point though, I also, I like, I like, I like Ratchet Meg.

I like Ratchet Meg.

I like Ratchet Meg. I thought she was going to go a different direction after the Klay Thompson shit. Mm-hmm. But it's like, she's like, I'm back outside. I'm fucking bitches. She said, I'm back outside.

She said, I need a girlfriend like Tony Childs.

I was like, oh, shit.

No, Meg is rapping. I just feel like, but it's not that I never even thought that she couldn't rap because I've been, I grew my respect for Meg when she dropped that plan B. Fucking niggas still can't believe I used to fuck with you popping plan B because I was scared of being stuck with you. I see you still kicking with them out bitches. I'm the only reason why your goofy ass got bitches. When she opened up like that, I said, oh, my goodness. Like, she don't freaking play. Her pin is crazy. Now, just because you don't like, you know, the content and what she rapping about and things like that, that don't mean she not getting off. She's talking spicy.

I was always under the impression that people thought Meg the Stag was overrated because of, like, comments and stuff like that. But every time she dropped, she, like, for real, like, proves, like, she deserves to have a spot here.

Yeah.

And I think for Meg, it's really, like, a handful of them. Like, the ones you mentioned, but it's really only, like, four women. It's, like, Meg, Cardi, Lotto, and that fourth slot is, like, interchangeable of people. It's, like, it's kind of, like, this is going to have to be a bad example, but you know how, like, women need reassurance from a man? Like, do you like me? Like, they want you to tell them you're pretty. Yeah, yeah. So... Their reassurance keep going down, and you hit them with the, no, I think you're beautiful, and then they go back up. I think that's how they play with the women, with those women specifically, with their ability in rap. Yeah. It's like, our faith in Meg, yeah,

and she became a housewife, and she got Clay together, or whatever, however you want to look at it, right? And then it's like, damn, and then she dropped this freestyle, and it's like, oh, Meg is one of them. It's like, my nigga. She never did not be one of them. Yeah. She just probably ain't trying to impress you niggas every day.

I think too, there's something to be said about women who are, that are on the pedestal and they're confident within themselves that society has to continuously humble them. You know, like, and it's not just men humbling women, it's women humbling women. Like there's, for some reason, this age, and this probably could have been a thing and maybe I'm just now recognizing it or noticing it, but people have an obsession with minimizing you. You know, like, and I think that that's what all these women are experiencing. It's like, before you get too cocky and think that you too on, let me simmer you down because you think you doing too much. And I know that because that's something that I'm experiencing. You know, I done gone through somebody's DMs

with me to where the very latest DM is like, bitch, this outfit was so motherfucking trash. You think you all that. But I scroll up to six years ago and it's, Gina, I love you so much. You're such an inspiration. But now that you think that I'm on or I've exceeded the perception that you have of me in your head, you got to minimize me, you know? So I think that that has, like, a lot to do with it, too.

Now that they done got all this success, let me tell them you're not even that good. You're not even that hot. They're art. They really are that good.

They really are.

Like, they're literally dope.

Really? Meg is definitely one of the ones. Meg like that. She like that.

You know who else I'm very proud of is Young Miami.

Yes.

Young Miami has found this lane. And I predict that this album that she about to drop is going to be better than any other project that she's ever done.

Well, by the time y'all see this or hear this. Oh, yeah.

Oh, it come out tonight, honey.

Yeah, the album is out.

I think this is going to be better than any City Girl album. She done found her lane in her pocket to create that music that both men and women can listen to.

So Young Miami's album is called Watch This. Young Miami, who's on this album? You got Rick Ross, Trina, Trick Daddy. It's called Day Counting, Fire.

Quavo.

Quavo, G-Erbo, Lil Baby, and then you got that remix with Shinsia and Vibes Cartel.

I think Bryson Tiller.

But I'm not even tripping on that. I mean, I haven't heard a whole album like that yet, but That FU song in that 2008.

That 2008.

That 2008 is my favorite song, and I ain't heard the rest of the album.

She look good in the video, too.

That shit hard, bro. I like that they kept the album short. Shout out to my boys, my boy Pat and Lake as well, the management team and all that. But the album is 12 songs. So, and three of the songs, it's been that. I like that it's, because you figure, If Young Mami was to put out an album and it got 18 songs on it, people will find a way to critique because it's too long, who bitch who you think you are, blah, blah, blah, right?

The album's short and sweet. It got replay value. You can get right to it. You can get through it, and you can run it back. What I like is that it's like, you know how certain artists run from their hits? She lean in. It's like, no, Spin That was a song of the summer. Spin That's probably going to get Grammy nominated. It's probably going to win a Grammy.

one of the one of them um it's like no let me give the people what they want spin that was the biggest song of my solo career it's on the album three times you get the regular version you get the two other the two remixes the international and the regular version and y'all can consume it how you want i like that they did that because most of the time they'll just put they'll take it off the album i want to make it art like i forgot who he was talking i think tommy richmond did that and it was just like why the fuck would you do that.

When they're supposed to count right Like, if you put the single on there so the album can count in.

Yeah, it counts in your metrics and stuff. But artists just being artists, I don't need my hit record on my album. Like, bro, put that hit record on the album. That motherfucker on there. Yeah.

Nigga, I need that.

Shout out to Young Miami. Go listen to that 2008.

I just also want them to stop playing with Young Miami, too.

I mean.

Like, she's somebody else that they need to stop playing with. She is the sweetest. young miami might be my um most pleasant celebrity experience like first like encounter like yeah it was she's just freaking nice like she's just freaking nice literally lake introduced us we started talking we chopping it up and it wasn't no like like she asking me stuff i'm asking her stuff like we just having conversation or whatever and it's like i don't know what the hell but again it's back to the same point and i don't want to speak in circles but The way the internet tear good people up will turn them into bitches. And it's like, now that I'm having my experience and stuff like that, I see why celebrities act the.

Way they act. Yeah. I definitely understand it. I want to keep up going with the girls. Shout out to Cardi B. Got her tiny desk off.

Shout out to Cardi.

We're Cardi B fans up here at this show. Cardi B is one of them artists, again, people play with. But I like that Cardi, she don't take herself too seriously. And she's also one of them artists who does take her craft serious, though, at the same time. So it's dope to me. And did you see the video of Cardi out there? Where is she from? She's from Dominican.

When she was cleaning her grandfather patio.

She was sweeping that shit out. I was like, damn, she a real. People was like, man, Cardi's sweeping. She a real. That was what I was tripping off of. I was tripping off the technique. She sweep like my mom.

It was also her birthday.

Irene laughing. She was like, because you know how, like, there's a certain way you get in there with that broom and you go in the downforce with the little. Yeah. She was like. I was like, oh, she know, she, okay.

Because I don't know how to sweep.

See what I'm saying? The new generation girls, they be on the Swiffer shit.

Nigga, I'm not even Swiffering. I press a button and it go around the whole house.

Oh, you got the robot.

Yeah, I got a little robot. I call myself Swiffering. It didn't work out, like. The little wipe kept sliding off and everything. I'm like, oh, I'm such a new bitch. Yeah, but Cardi, she had that sweeping technique.

Go check out Cardi B's Tiny Desk, man. A great experience. How long do you think it's going to be before we get another Cardi album?

I think we're going to get one quicker.

Me too.

Than the gap between Invasion of Privacy.

And Am I the Drama?

Yeah, Am I the Drama. Yeah, I think we're going to get one sooner.

You think we get next year?

I don't know, but she dropped, I forgot the name of the other song she just dropped.

She's been dropping. Yeah, she's been dropping. Like, A-Ha's a big record.

Yeah, so I don't think she's going to give us one that quick, but I think that we're definitely going to continue to get singles and appearances.

I think we're going to get one next year. I'm making my prediction. I'm not mad at it. I think we're going to get one next year.

I think she did an interview and she said that it was going to come soon. It's coming soon?

Yeah. Okay.

What do you think about Jay-Z? And I don't know if this has been official.

Yeah.

It's not official, but the hip-hop industry is discussing this as if there's been an announcement that Jay-Z is performing at the Super Bowl halftime show 2027. And I think that that assumption is coming from a very credible outlet that said that they predict that that's what's happening.

So there was an outlet that posted it. Then there was a couple other, I don't want to name drop.

I don't want to, yeah.

The real because it's like some real esteemed publications that put that right made that reposted it and went out with this but um shout out to lauren la rosa you know she do her job better than us when it come to that investigation well you know they say.

That charlotte and uh lauren is on recognition payroll yeah hey touche that's they that's the running joke um but.

Are you seeing some of that you know i'm saying but Right upstairs. Yeah, yeah. We in the building. We might need to go.

I think our key card work up there.

I tried it. But I was trying to get them Jay-Z tickets. But so Roger Goodell, who is the head white person in charge at the NFL, basically was like, bro, we haven't made no official announcements and we're not going to comment at this time. That's what his official statement was. Now, there were some really esteemed publications that announce a jay-z wilbur performer i think he is i'm on record as saying that um but i definitely think that i don't know i know that we kind of it's a spoiler if he is because the way they announce Super Bowl is like a big thing. Like they have they shoot a commercial. They announce it with a commercial. It goes out on Apple Music and all the NFL shit all at one time. But it's like, bro. If it's out

the bag, rush your delivery. You know how albums like how artists will push their album up. Oh, so-and-so album got leaked. They push it up a week. It's like, just do that. Because at this point, when we got Dot performing at the Super Bowl, it was a surprise. Yes. And that was because we all, nigga, I would have bet my car that Lil Wayne was doing the Super Bowl.

And it wasn't even because, it was kind of because of the New Orleans thing, but it wasn't, that wasn't the only reason. Yeah. Lil Wayne has a substantial catalog to justify him doing something like the Super Bowl. Yes. When they announced Bad Bunny, I didn't see that coming. Now, I did predict it. Yeah. But I didn't know.

We knew it wasn't going to be no niggas.

That's what I knew. Yeah. I knew they was over. Yeah, we knew it wasn't niggas. You know what I'm saying? We done collared greens the whole Super Bowl up a little bit. You know what I'm saying?

Dot showed his ass.

Yeah. Dot did a little, you know. He did a lot up there. You know what I'm saying? So. I knew it wasn't going to be one of us. So the Bad Bunny thing was kind of, okay, boom. But Jay-Z is like, everybody expects it to happen. Just give us what we want. Just give us what we want. I saw DJ Envy say that he wouldn't be mad if Jay-Z did all B-sides. I would.

Yeah, I don't want to see B-sides.

I don't want that nigga to get up there and do all them B-sides. You know why I'm here.

I do want that money in the thing, though.

Oh, yeah.

I need that. I need it to look like the video up there. I need Jermaine Dupri to grow his hair out.

So here's the question. Here's the question, though. There's two songs I'm going to ask you to do. This is all hypothetical. Does he get up there and do Big Pimpin'? Or? No, that's the first question. Yes. He got to do Big Pimpin'. He got to do all that shit from back then.

Even if it's, like, 30 seconds. Like, you know how Usher did, like, you have to do all of them.

You have to do a melody. Like, you have to do all your hits. I mean, a medley.

Usher did the whole Confessions.

Yeah. Yeah, you do a medley. Okay, so then I have to answer my second one. I was going to say 99 Problems. Hell, yeah.

And I want to see the illest bitch in the game repping his chain. Rocking his chain.

Beyonce, oh, that'll make three Super Bowls for her. That'll be the most in history, I think.

He's not going to do a Super Bowl without Beyonce.

I don't know.

Even if she just sitting in one of the little sets.

You talking about sitting there like... Like how Cardi was in... Like how Cardi was in Bad Bunny shit?

Just like that. I need to see Blue Ivy.

Nah, she gonna be on stage. She gonna do something. She gonna do some vocals.

I saw a tweet that said, we gonna see Alicia Keys in that damn piano.

Oh, no. He's doing Empire State of Mind.

And that would be Alicia Keys' second Super Bowl.

He getting that Empire State of Mind and he gonna be in L.A. too.

They gotta bring our little mamas.

No, they don't. You know it'd be funny, though. If I was Lil Mama, I would campaign.

Yeah.

Because, look, I mean.

I don't think she'd take this... Like, we be getting.

Our jokes off, but... She don't think it's funny?

I don't think she'd think it's funny. I don't know, but I don't think it's funny to her.

How could she not think it's funny?

Well, there's an interview... On Breakfast Club with them, I believe, don't quote me, but I believe they were talking about the moment and she was crying. But I don't remember if it was, like, happy tears or sad tears.

No, it wasn't happy.

That was such a long time ago.

Yeah, that was a long time ago.

But I feel her, though. Like, that's what little mama did is the same thing that all them niggas did at the pop-out.

Okay.

Yes, like, that's all them niggas that got on stage at the pop-out that wasn't part of the show. Like, that's what Lil Mama did, and we loved it. We celebrated everybody that got up there during the pop-out. That's the same thing. When you feeling it, and you really got a love for this shit, I'm up there, too.

Nah, bro. I don't think Lil Mama's invited to this one.

Let me be somewhere front stage and fab performing.

Are you going up there?

Shit.

Okay. So, we go to... the crypto.com arena for a show. Fab get up there and he do one of them freestyles. You going on stage.

And it's one that I know by heart.

Yeah.

Yes, I'm going on stage. Yes.

Yes. Yes.

Security's going to have to tackle me like they did Clipper Dale.

That's crazy. They need to take me down. That's crazy. Yes, nigga.

I'm going on stage.

What up, Clip?

You in my city and you freestyling and you going crazy and we at crypto? F-A-B-O-L-O-U-S? I'm up there.

To do what? Are you going to do a little mom pose?

Hell yeah.

You a troll.

I think Fab would let me come up there though.

He would.

Or it's either he'll be cool with it or he'll be like, what the fuck, JB, what the fuck is Gina doing?

Yeah. JB for sure was like, is that Gina?

You'll see JB get her.

Off stage, get her off. She was like, and then, but. And then Fab will probably let you rock. Fab will let you cook. Fab will probably let you cook on the low, but everybody else will be freaking out. I ain't going to lie. I'll be freaking out, too. Like, what the fuck is she doing?

What the fuck is she doing up there?

You know, Sal is losing his mind.

Yeah.

Sal is losing his mind.

He loses his mind every time I go rogue.

Side stage, he's freaking the fuck out.

Okay, question for you. So, is his name Jalen Brown?

Jalen Brown, yeah.

Basketball player Jalen Brown and Lil Baby was having a conversation about Jalen Brown's favorite rich purchase. So, to flip it, what would be your rich purchase when you get rich?

How rich am I?

Rich as fuck.

I need to buy my own. I need to buy my own society. Because you niggas. You know what I'm saying? If I could just fill it up with, like, bots and automatons and shit like that, where I ain't got to, like, I'll have a few humans around where, you know, they have free will and shit. Yeah. But, like, yeah. Look, Avery, look at me. Crazy. But, like, realistically, I would give me a, I've always wanted to learn how to fly helicopters. So, that would probably be a wild purchase that nobody would expect from me. Like, I wouldn't, I don't know if I'd buy one. I mean, I don't know how much helicopters cost. I think you got it.

You probably can buy 50 of them if you rich.

That and I also would like a... This is going to sound a little crazy. I admit. But I want to make... Look, Irene. I want to create my own man-made lake. I want to buy property. I want to buy a lot of acres. And I want to build a man-made lake with a natural ecosystem. Because I'm pescatarian. So like....

Okay, I'm going to let you finish.

That way I can just go out there and... I'm feeling red snapper today. I'm going to go in my lake and get my own snapper.

You will cook it yourself?

No, I'm not cooking it. I'll go out there and get it though.

I would just need to purchase convenience.

Like what?

I want to be inconvenience free for the rest of my life. So I would need to have... either a house that's big enough or if it's not a home, it's like a community that's big enough that whatever I need, it's there. Down to my food, to my nails, my lashes, my hair, my clothes that I like, my favorite everything.

I want to be able to pay a motherfucker. Tonight I want to see Wale perform. I want to be able to have so much money that the concert can be at my house. Michael Rubin.

Yeah.

Like, everything can just come to me. And I don't want to do nothing.

Yeah.

I don't even want to wipe my own ass. Like, I don't want to do nothing. I don't want to shower myself. I don't want to brush my own teeth. Like, we got to do the show. The series have to come to me.

You want to be Prince Akeem. Yes.

I want to purchase convenience.

The royal box is clean, Gina.

Wiping my own ass is probably an exaggeration.

Bro, what's that job going for?

I'm rich.

No, but I'm saying what's the job? How much you paying? Wiping somebody's ass. How much you paying the person that wiped your ass?

I guess that do sound a little crazy, though, like when you say it to me.

Yeah. So now give me a salary.

They probably got to be as rich as me.

Facts.

Wipe ass. Well, I could go get a C & A.

These niggas in the comments that do it for the low.

Yeah, they too. Minimum wage. What's CNAs make? About $ 28 an hour?

That nigga that made me send him that video of us when I met him at BET. And he was like, he confessed his love. He'll do that shit for an internship.

Ain't nobody wiping ass.

For college credit.

Hey, it ain't that much credit in the world. Why does somebody else's ass is crazy?

There's nurses that do that.

Yeah. That's why I said I'd probably get a CNA or something.

Nurses make good money. They make $ 90, 000.

I don't know if I really want somebody to see me in that state, though.

That's not the problem. The problem is the position you got. to be in for somebody to wipe your ass.

To wipe your ass.

Yeah.

I take that back. I take that back. But everything I want at my hands, like, on Sundays, I want to fly Sarah Jakes out to my house to preach.

Got it.

Like, that's what I want. Like, when it's time to get a wax, I don't want to get up and go to the wax lady. I want to lay in my bed and get snatched.

Not in the bed.

Well, we lay on the bed anyway.

No, but your bed that you sleep. Don't y'all be, like, having, like, don't it be, like, crazy when y'all get waxed sometimes?

I'm so rich, though. I'm so rich that, like.

She's going to have a separate bed that's just for waxing and another one for sleeping. Okay, okay, okay, cool.

Yeah, that's the wax bed right there.

Gotcha, because I heard it get wild in there sometimes. Okay.

Okay.

You know what I'm saying?

Okay, wolf pussy.

Yeah.

Nigga think the weed whacker out there.

That's crazy, bro. I done seen some shit.

But it's funny, though, because people like rich people, like he said he had a heart. He bought a gold heart or something.

A gold heart.

I don't have enough money to even understand what any of it is.

The harp is an instrument. It's like a stringed instrument that people play. It sounds beautiful. Like it's a stringed. I don't even know how to describe a harp. You would just have to look at it. But it's a weird shape, and it's got a bunch of strings, and they play it almost like a big-ass guitar that's standing upright.

I would buy my way. Oh, I know what that is. I would buy my way into a screen.

I don't know what that means. The movie. You would buy your way into the movie?

Oh, yeah, I've seen one of them. I would buy my way into, like, I'd pay whoever I got to pay just to be in screen.

You ain't got that kind of bag.

I'm rich.

Rich ain't going to get it. You talking about an intellectual property of a franchise intellectual property from a studio owned by a bunch of white people who got way more money than everybody.

I'm also Gene of Views, though, too.

Okay, well, that's different. You talking about buying your way. Y'all have nothing to do with clout and who you are.

How much y'all need? Let me pay Nev Campbell salary.

Nev can't make that call.

Nev is the official final girl. They not doing no more screens without her. I think they pay her like $ 6 million. If I'm already rich, Nev, I got here your 10 right here. Just tell them, like, just let me be next to you.

Now you talking. If you slide Nev 10, you get a role. I don't know what the role will be, but you'll get a role. You'll probably be, like, victim three or something.

I'm not dying in that movie.

You know what I'm saying? Out of that movie. You could be a victim. You know what I'm saying? Neve Campbell would get her ass fired fucking with you. All right. Shout out to Dolce dropping some new music. I heard. No, I can't say that. Dolce new music is coming.

You seen they clipped up that clip?

They clipped up what clip?

From the Ray Vaughn interview.

Which clip? What'd they say?

The one we was talking about. The one that we ain't supposed to be talking about.

They clipped it up?

That clip is on Twitter right now.

Who? I mean, who clipped it? You know what song I'm talking about?

Yeah. Yeah, it's a clip on there.

Oh, shit.

I just seen it. I just seen it, like, either yesterday or the day before.

Oh, shit.

And they, like, they asking Ray Vaughn, like, we need that song.

That song hard.

That song hard.

I'll play it right now, shit.

You can't play it right now.

All right, fuck it. Don't do it. I'll play it. I got a couple of them motherfuckers in my phone that I can play.

I mean, if you're going to play it, just leak that motherfucker so we can get it.

I know, right? And it be everybody's phone, like the Nifty song?

Yeah, like 500 horses.

Okay, and also a couple things.

Speaking of Nipsey, though, Marathon will now be at Terminal 1 at LAX.

Big move. Shout out to Black Sam and the whole team at Marathon and All Money In, bro. I ain't going to lie. This thing is going way faster than I expected it to go. Yeah. Because they already in Long Beach, two locations. They got the truck. LAX is a big deal because you don't even have to be from L.A. To enjoy a marathon burger, you just be coming through, flying through, going to the lounge, whatever. And also when New York is on the way. Marathon is now a lifestyle. It's a lifestyle brand. Shout out to Adam, too.

I just talked to Adam yesterday. And they always looking out. So go get you a marathon burger. They got the vegan burgers. They got the tiger shrimp and the salad. Don't sleep on the salad. I get the grilled vegetable salad that's fire, too.

Man, you got to get that. If you get them tiger shrimp, make sure you get it tossed in buffalo sauce.

Gina got her own little secret menu shit going on over at Marathon that they be letting her get off. And the fries is fire.

That's right. When in there, they told her they didn't do that.

I know. They don't do that. You know what's crazy? I ain't going to say that on the air. Shout out to the homie Scrooge, man, at Marathon.

Oh, Scrooge be looking out. Scrooge got top of the line customer service.

Top tier. You walk in, hey, what you need, my nigga?

What you want?

Hey, bro, whatever. Give me the usual.

Everybody nice over there.

Yeah, it's all good.

They service better than, you know how they say Chick-fil-A got the best customer service? Marathon service way better than Chick-fil-A.

Yeah.

In and out.

Speaking of Marathon, the documentary is coming. I know people got to see it, the sneak preview. We didn't get to see the sneak preview, but I have heard that it's one of the most in-depth looks at Nip. Mm-hmm. And I'm excited looking forward to that because certain things I was there for, not physically, but I was around and I got to see. But I would love to see it from their perspective. And from what I've been told offline is there is so much footage that people have not seen behind the scenes of Nipsey studio sessions and conversations and interviews and all kinds of different things like that. So I'm looking forward to that. All right.

R & B bitch, go. I did it. No, I'm talking about the next one. Oh. The next video, the next... What is.

The next one? We're dropping in order.

Because I saw the videos at your birthday.

Oh, right, right, right, right, right.

But I don't know if you're dropping them in that order.

Somebody was in the comments and said, I'm on your ass for making us wait for all these comments.

They are staggered.

Yeah, they are. Okay, so the next one that's going to drop is going to be Guabdad.

Okay.

We're dropping Guabdad next.

You know when?

It should be a week from today.

Okay.

It should be a week from today.

Well....

I got my hard drive now. True just gave me my hard drive today.

Okay.

So, yeah. Irene and they've been helping me figure my life out.

Figuring your shit out? Yeah.

Now you're giving them someone to blame. I am 100% the problem. I'm a serial procrastinator. I be so much in my head. That's why y'all ain't got them a whole fashions episode.

That's why I was about to hit next, but you know what I'm saying? coming soon though we also got some shit coming with Red Bull and Gina and I will be hitting Chicago.

Soon shit when it's out we gonna be in Chicago.

Yeah so tap in Chi-town you know what I'm saying can.

Y'all send us if you're watching this and you're from Chicago can you recommend some restaurants for us to go to I like to go when I go to a city or a state I like to go and have the food that they're known for yeah I.

Got a restaurant recommendation from somebody from Chicago already. But, yeah, send them food recs.

Are we going to have time when we land, though?

We're going to have time to do it. I'm going to make Jay Todd's. We're going to go do one. Okay. So send us them food recs for Chicago, and you'll tap in for that. And then also make sure you subscribe and also watch our show on Revolt. We have our debut episode with AZ Chike. It's out now.

Yeah, we didn't even– that's how we should have opened with that.

I mean, I wanted to close out with it because it's a big deal and it's a headliner. But Gina and I are officially on television. You have two TV shows. You have two radio shows. Yeah.

That's kind of tight.

That's kind of tight? Little Gina going stupid. I know. That was too tight. But, yeah, Revolt catches Wednesday's exclusive interview. I want to say Dope Conversations. Every Wednesday, 6 p.m. Pacific, 9 p.m. Eastern on Revolt TV. You can get the app. You can watch it digitally the day after on Thursdays. And, yeah, it's a TV show. We rolling all the way to the new year. You can catch new content each and every week. We got hella shit going on, bro. We got Whole Fessions, Red Bull, Revolt, SiriusXM, Black Effect, just, nigga, Might Flex. Mm-hmm. Yeah.

There's a lot of shit going on. I was just thinking, I'm like, we about to, I got to stay and do my damn show, but I got to go back and do this photo shoot.

Niggas is double booked. Because we had our debut episode this week, want to take a time real quick, shout out our team. Been doing amazing. Irene, thank you. PB is here. Thank you. Avery is here. Our producer, Nay. And, you know, I just think that this is going to be, this is going to be very significant for us in the long haul.

I think this is a great, 2026 was a great setup for 2027.

2027 is going to be even more stupid. And also, me and Silas was talking about this after you had left Big Boy. It was like most people, not most people, a lot of people are not really thriving in this climate and whatnot. They're not thriving, not even financially. They can't get their shows off the ground. Deals aren't being done.

And we're heading into the fourth quarter, and we're only ascending, and so we're grateful. like we're immensely grateful we thank you for listening and tuning in each and every week thank you to the immediate fam for fucking with us uh make sure you share the episode and hype us up and do all the dope shit and uh yeah we're gonna make sure we ramp up the output uh for 2027 as well we have been talking about that you know gina brought more from us yeah we're gonna we're gonna ramp up some uh output for you uh going into the new year so get ready for that as well but yeah we'll see you next week.
