Maddy Sags asks, how would you guys rank these vacation ideas by your personal preference? Okay, so I'll say one, cottage getaway with friends or family. Two, cruise ship. Three, beach resort. Four, traveling slash sightseeing. And then five, camping trip. Perhaps there's one list that you would want to be your choice or anything else you'd like to shout out.

But that is the list you provided. Dylan, what are you looking at there?

Uh, geez, I've never been on a cruise, uh, in my life. So, I don't know if I, I don't know. I don't think I, it doesn't, the idea does not enthuse me.

Yeah. I think in breaks on those cruise ships.

That's, that's the thing now too. I feel like that kind of freaks me out. I feel like, you know, in how old am I? I'm 30, 31. I, maybe in like 40 years, I'll be really jazzed about cruise ships.

Uh but for right now i think that's pretty low on my list uh so i'm gonna put that if it was of course all expenses paid for sure but i'm not gonna spend money on that kind of thing so i'll put that at the bottom of the list cottage getaway with friends or family see traveling sightseeing is is kind of it's kind of so generic it could mean anything like traveling could be a beach resort right I.

Think traveling is like... Because to me, a beach resort is literally like you're sitting on the beach with a virgin mojito. You're just looking around. I think you're specifically at the beach chilling, sun tanning. You're just taking in the nice warm weather, the waves, maybe your surfboard, that type of stuff. Where sightseeing to me is like, I want to go see the Great Wall of China. I want to go see this thing. That to me is what sightseeing is.

Okay, well, I'm going to put traveling slash sightseeing. I'm jumping all over the place with this. That's number one on my list for sure. Just because that's the most... by far the most meaningful thing here i mean it's so much of uh my favorite memories in my in my life are the most meaningful things i've done are from the travel i've done so that's definitely top of the heap for sure uh then we're stuck with these things in the middle i'm gonna put the cottage getaway and camping trip are kind of similar energy to me i'm gonna go with I'll go with a cottage getaway as number two on my list with friends or family.

I don't know if he's saying, I guess with, yeah, either one of those options. I think I'll take that. I think that's, that sounds enjoyable and fun to me. I love, love doing that. Did that with some friends recently. We went to the Airbnb and I guess it wasn't, wasn't quite a cottage, but similar idea. And that was amazing.

That was super fun. B, I'm not a big resort. I went to Hawaii a few years ago and did a resort. There's just something about the vibe of that that doesn't really... It's nice and relaxing. It's extremely expensive to do that typically if you go to Hawaii or whatever. But it's just not really my vibe. I think there was a few things in that trip that weren't so great for me. Also, you know what? It rained a lot in Hawaii and that trip kind of sucked for that reason. All these other things. Camping, if it rains a lot, that can be atrocious too but that's you know that's definitely a factor i put in here so i think i'll go number one traveling for sure number two i'll put cottage getaway number three i'll put camping

because i do love camping number four i'll put beach resort and then number five is where i'll put cruise ship.

My time, like, going to Mexico and whatnot, like, there's lots of resorts that I look online at. It's like, oh, yeah, I could definitely just chill here. This would be a lot of fun. This would be a nice place to hang out. So, I think I would go... It's tough because traveling and sightseeing would be really up there too with Beach Resort. I'd probably go Beach Resort because I've been number one because I'd love to just have a really good vacation where I can just relax, like really relax.

And there's just like fun little touristy things you're doing, but it's not like following a schedule, always on the go, have to hit here, this location, this location, and do all these things as you're traveling. But again, that's a lot of fun too. So that would be number two. the cottage getaway with friends or family. That'd be my number three, because I just think there's a lot of just like staying in the cabins of a big white, you know, with, with family and it's snowing. You got the hot tub going, you got board games going. I guess such a nice vibe. It's really, really a good time. Um, done lots of camping. I think at this point, my camping trips that I would like to do now is leave the tent behind. No more tent life. I just

do like one of those small little teardrop trailers, you know, where it's just like a small cozy little thing. You just like, drive around with has a little kitchenette in the back too.

I love that.

That's just, that's for me. I've done so much, so much tent camping and you know, it's, I've moved on from the tent stuff now. Um, and then I would put the cruise ship probably last cause I'm, I'm not really, I'm not cruising into that anytime soon. So yeah.

Camping trip. He says, okay. He says, okay. No, you don't. Camping trip. I'm going, I think that's still number one for me. And I'm the full tent guy. Because to me, I just don't want to, like, I feel more connected with Mother Nature. In a sense, too, like, Now, not so much because I'm older and I got kids to look after and I got to deal with mosquito bites.

But there's many times I would not even sleep in the tent. I would just take the mattress, sleep outside, look at those stars. There's nothing better. Coyotes coming after you. Oh, that's okay. They'll take me. I'll be sleeping. I won't even know. But there's nothing better than going to sleep and it's just stars above you. That's what it can be.

I know someone's going, oh, well, in the trailer tent thing, you can look.

No, no, no.

There's glass. There's this and that. Just be in the outdoors. Already when you're in the camping trailer, that feels like, okay. you're secluded, you're like, you're away from it, we're camping, love the smell of the fire, I love the crickets, the bugs, if you're by a camping spot that has water, oh, you know, while you're sleeping, oh my god, you get, you'll never get a better sleep than that, so, and camp is a fun time, because I feel like it's just also, it's, there's stress with a little bit of all traveling, right, but I feel like that's the least stressful, because most of the time you bring everything, and if you're going, other people do, it's like, oh, I forgot this, and you always happen to have The thing, you know,

you compliment one another and you get to share stories. You get to stay up where even where I put number two, the sightseeing, there might be a time where some fatigue might set in. We're camping. It's like that is an ultimate just like relax one, right? So and all of these obviously have asterisks. If you get like a bad camping spot, then yeah, that sucks. But so I'm going to go camping number one. I'm going to go sightseeing number two. I'm not like a I have things I do want to see, but I'm also not at the same point. I just like that more than these other ones.

I'm not.

There's things in my life that I want to see, but if I die not seeing them, it's, it's okay. Like it's on a bucket list, but it's on very low on the bucket list. I don't have to see it. I'm not a big traveler that way, but out of these options, I would much rather be like, Oh, I want to see the slam mark. I see this location, or I want to go see where fucking New Zealand, where the Shire was, right? Like there's little things like that.

So I put sightseeing number two. I put, let's see. and I'm definitely going to cruise last. I'm with you guys. Maybe when I'm older. Maybe that is the only thing. I just don't like.

We'll all go on a cruise together when we're 75 years old, and then we'll have the time of our 75-year-old life.

We'll do a podcast with this shitty Wi-Fi and some little rumor all hunkered over. Ah, Avengers 18. I can't believe they're bringing Donnie back again, you know? But, yeah, cruise is last. I don't need to do that. I just... And I love water, but... And then Beach Resort and Cottage. Like, I think they both have their pros and cons. I don't know. I guess I'd go the Beach Resort second last and then the Cottage third. Because maybe there's just more things here. The Cottage is still similar camping where you can maybe build a fire, right? And you have... Because, I don't know, a beach resort is nice, but then you still have to go up to your hotel to sleep, I imagine, right? It still might be a nice hotel,

but you're still in just a hotel. And don't get me wrong, I did a beach resort, and that's part of the reason why I fell in love with Miami. Dad and I did that, and it was amazing. It was a great experience, the beach there. It was one of those secluded things, too, where the public couldn't access it, so it was just, like, you and the people that were at the beach, and it was great nighttime. You could sleep. I slept on the beach a few nights, where it was just, it was safe, because, like, oh, no, no one else can get in here. Oh, obviously, if someone stays at the hotel... and could murder you, then I guess it's bad luck. But it's not just anybody off the street can just come out, hey, how's it going?

So it can be nice, but I guess I just, I feel like maybe I'll get an over-the-heat adventure or cottage. Yeah, kind of similar to the camping. So yeah, camping, sightseeing, cottage, beach resort, and then the cruise. So sorry for the cruise lovers out there. Matty, let us know your list. I've been bugging. I'm going to bug him again. I've been bugging for the past three months because whenever I can't. Oh, I think it was around. Yeah, it was around GB Day when we did our strikers tournament. And in the chat, he was fucking beaking us being like, oh, I'm an ultimate strikers, player. I could beat any of you. Not talking just to me, like any of us. He just threw us lumped GB together. He said, oh, he's just a mass, blah, blah, blah. I gave him a seat.

I said, hey, you fly down to Kelowna. There's a place for you to stay. There's a couch spot for you right there. Run the gong. Let's see. Let's put your ass up and see if you can. It's different for you, Matty, to sit there.

He, at one point, one of my players in the NFL fantasy league, I said, if you show me a printed ticket of you come to Kelowna, I'll give you that player right now. I mean, I'm pretty rusty at the GameCube one, because I booted up the GameCube one after our Switch Strikers tournament, and I was like, fuck, I am rusty at this one.

We've got to do some rounds. I love doing Strikers and Switch, but during Extra Life, we've got to do some rounds. It might also end up in the tournament, but I mean, just even on the off time, we've got to do some GameCube rounds, because it's been a minute, and that is my zone. I've learned on the Switch, but my zone is still the GameCube. Oh, yeah. the hits there. So speaking of extra life is happening November 7th.

I need to find the fucking master file. Cause Taylor, I better not find this super easy. Oh my, here I search extra life. It's a fourth thing. Uh, Dylan Taylor's trying to search games or trying to add games the other day. And he's like, I can't find it anywhere.

I was in my cryptic clothes. Okay. It's like you search extra life and it's right there, but I do got to get the wheel out to make a, to find out what games were, uh, that are in the pool so we can download them and bring them and everything like that. Because Taylor's offered to host us here. So we're going to be at the Field Residence. We've never been there before.

We're getting Taylor versus Kirkland, Call of Duty 5. If you don't know, the last, I don't know, decade or so, they've had four of these matches, different match types. But we did that one where you guys did a bunch of different Call of Duties, like the finale. But I kind of forgot that you guys had played three before.

And yeah, you guys are tied two apiece in the series.

It was Modern Warfare 1. And I was just decimating Kirkland for like the first 30.

So I have that footage and I'll be making a video. So, yeah, they're going to be doing like a best of five. They're going to be doing different stipulations each time. A straight up one. I guess there's going to be one with no trophy systems. Taylor, I imagine Kirkland's going to try.

Yeah. So me and Dylan will be on the sticks for that one. Well, we won't be on the sticks. We'll be in the comm tracks giving commentary to that. And that's hope. To end around 10. We're doing things a little bit different this year because of the way people's schedules are working. So at 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., we're going to do the Trivia Battle, which is the other podcasters coming on. And it's going to be a little bit different this year. Instead of teams, it's just going to be a full free-for-all. We're going to throw all the podcasters in the pool. We're answering questions. Dylan's keeping score. And, yeah, they're going to answer 30 questions.

And best of luck to them. We're going to try out this new concept, see how it works. So everyone has to answer these questions. So we'll see. They'll roughly take about two hours. And then around 12 p.m. PDT is when we start the Gauntlet Tournament because people will be coming over and just fared better this time. So we got myself. We got Taylor, who's always going through them.

We got Kirkland Patzer. And then we got the reigning defending three-time championship winner, Dylan Must. Dylan, obviously we know we have some interviews coming up. But how are you feeling heading into another tournament here? And as I've said this before, you could make history. No one's won a tournament back-to-back. We've won multiple tournaments, but no one's ever won one back-to-back. So that's what's on the line. If you can defend that bad boy right there. I'm not going to touch it. I'm not even going to touch it until game day. I don't even want to.

Don't even point at it, okay? Don't even look at it. Don't even think about it. I'm feeling confident, as I usually do, because I think I'm just good on my feet when it comes to these games, the gauntlet style. I think a lot of people feel the pressure. They feel like they need to surmount something. But I feel like I'm cool as a cucumber when I need to be.

On top of that, I have not one skip, but two skips. I earned a skip from the Strikers tournament. So I have upper hand. I have more tools than you guys do. And that can make a huge difference in a tournament that involves quite a bit of luck. I'm going to have more luck on my side because I have an extra reroll. So I feel good because a lot of times when I've lost in the past, maybe some janky game or some game I don't know about or some game that has a lot of luck, like that stupid Lord of the Rings game that I lost to Ruben one time. But you know what? I can maybe avoid some of that stuff because of my ability to skip games just more numerously than you guys.

So yeah, we'll see what happens, but I'm feeling confident.

I just showed your double skip there. I didn't touch it. It's not on the package, so you got the extra life skip there I will laugh because it's not going to carry over to next year because we'll do another tournament for GBA. I'm going to laugh if you get like, no, like you just get every game you want this year.

And that's, I bet how karma works is how it's going to happen. You won't even use the skips.

A good reassurance. So yeah, if people don't know, we did this years ago when everyone lived in Kelowna, we brought it back last year. So one time tournament, we do some also extra life or some gaming during GBA as well. But yeah, For this, we do a full how many people we got tournament. It's a weird hybrid of it's not a round robin because sometimes we can't keep a round for the whole stream. It's about six rounds where there's two rounds, which are 1v1 matches. There's one round that's a free-for-all, so it's all of us put together in different selections of four versus four, three and three, whatever. Then there's a team's round, and then if there's needed, a semifinals round. Everybody starts with four points.

You win. You get two more points. You lose. You get nothing. You can also bet. So if I think, hey, if I see Dylan versus Taylor and Taylor got Galactic Racers and for some reason Dylan didn't skip and think he can take them, then I'm going to go, okay. Then I'm going to bet on Taylor. If he wins, that's how he wins, and then I get points. That's how– I only won one game last year, and I got to the semifinals with Tyler Sarris just based on my betting. So the betting can make or break you, as we saw with Wii Sports. So that's going to be happening. Um, and then what else? So we have us for, I can announce the rest of the people. Now, obviously there's always people that could show up, could drop out.

If people show up unannounced or people drop out, uh, not planned. Some of these one-on-one matches would be changed into a, uh, into a three-way situation, which we'll figure out, uh, the, or four, whichever the numbers is, we'll figure out the day of, we are going to bring up the pool here. in a second, but, oh yeah, maybe actually, no, I'm not going to do the wheel yet. Cause Taylor and I will be reviewing vision quest on the Wednesday. I'll do the wheel. Cause I also got, uh, bracket some more matches. I actually haven't bracketed all the matches and who's versus who yet. So next Wednesday, full bracket will be announced for the tournament. But I can announce that Hidalgo, Noah Hidalgo, after the wrestling match, him and Taylor were having issues, so we couldn't get along.

So I give Taylor a favor. Hidalgo's out this year. He might still be in the Wolf Order, might not be He needs to... He disrespected Taylor a little bit. So he's sitting out. So he's out. Neil Robon. I tried. I tried to get Ruben. He was like, oh, maybe. No. No schedule. But we got Tyler Sarris coming back last year.

I was watching back today. They played Rockstar Ping Pong.

I forgot they played Strikers together. I think we picked it because they both weren't really familiar with it too much. It was wild because I was watching back me and Amber's match of NHL. I forgot Everyone look at the video. If people don't know, it's me and Amber versing and whatever NHL that year. And we go six to six and we go into overtime. Those last two minutes, the crowd is bumping. It was a spicy time. So Kyle Smith is back. And I can announce two other people, again, just right in the nick of time. Someone returning to the tournament and someone playing the first time ever. We are bringing it in. And there might be some bias here in the top corner. Mother of my children, Emily Brost.

And then Taylor Field's wife, Madison Field.

Is going to be in the tournament. Now, Dylan, I did make them some deals. And I did tell them about the looming threat of you. And I said, hey, if you guys come in, I'll let you guys pick a game. Any game you want. Even if Dylan needs to skip, he can't use it. So I tried.

What the hell is this? That's bullshit.

You're okay. Because it didn't work. Madison chose Taylor to play. And they couldn't agree on a game. So what they're going to be doing, Dylan, you'll like this. And Dylan, I want you to start cooking this up. I want you to pick what you think is the fairest that could get as the best matchup for Taylor versus Madison in UFO 50. What game would work for them?

Pure luck base is like the best if there's any game in there where like skill base gives.

You an edge well we did a lot of uh quibble race last year with the horse and that was perfect racing one where you can drug up your guys that could.

Work so something like that so dylan's gonna think about that so mass and feel for the first time ever is entering the gauntlet tournament she's there she's been around wrestling match stuff but never gauntlet tournament so that's gonna be.

Happening there's a deck building game where you uh have to throw the best house party that could be a good one too Because it's pretty slow-paced. Like, there's not really technical skill.

Slow, simple, lock-based.

So that could work, too.

Yeah. So you got that. And then, again, the ladies must have cohorted. Went against me. Emily did not pick you, Dylan. She picked me. And we're going to run it back in Goldeneye. So we only think it's fair.

Going back to the Dylan's Basement era.

I'll be able to repost that match. It was a great match. I think it's only fair that round two in this tournament is going to be 1v1s. But it's going to be called the Call Your Shot round. And what's going to happen is, Dylan, you said it was spicy. We're going to have you and Saris go back out again.

And you guys get to pick a game. And then Kirkland and Kyle are going to pick a game. So I think that's only fair. Everybody can pick a game. We've got those ladies in there. So the first round is going to be completely random matchups, random games. So the second round, we're doing a rematch of the finals last year of Dylan versus Saris. They get to pick whatever they want. And then Kirkland versus Kyle, they can pick whatever they want. So there's a preview for round two.

That's what it's going to be. That's your nice preview. Rack right there. Taylor versus Madison. Me versus Emily and Goldeneye. Dylan versus Saracen TBD. And then Kyle versus Kirkland TBD. And then round one, we'll see. Well, next week, we're going to spin the whole round or spin the wheel. Taylor Field, I heard something on Star Wars Alliance today that Clay feels pretty confident that he could whoop your butt in Galactic Racer. Is that what he was saying?

He was saying it. So I don't know. He was trying to get some air time or whatnot. So pretty much what I was saying at some point in the stream, and I think it actually would happen after the trivia battle, so I apologize because that's when they're online already. No. Oh, then let's throw you in there too. I'm going to get in there for fun anyways, because obviously we got Resident Evil themed shirts. You got a lot of rest stuff going on. So in the spooky hours around like the midnight stuff, we're going to be doing Halloween. We're going to do Resident Evil and then obviously random stuff throughout to end the stream off, to have some fun, to say a do to the game before we get number six, we're going to be doing a GTA, uh, six-star wanted, most wanted challenge. I don't know what the fuck it's called. I'll figure it out.

Just, like, spawn, like, weapons is what I was thinking. Because it's actually really hard to get six stars.

There's also a cheat that, like, makes you have six stars, right?

Let's do that, then. We could do the weapons, though, too. But let's do the cheats where you get the weapons and you get the six stars. And then someone starts a timer. And whoever lasts the longest with the six stars. And not trying to escape. Like, not trying to, like, oh, hide and get rid of the stars. just whoever can last the longest before they're either arrested or wasted.

Yeah. If you lose your stars, you just get disqualified.

Yeah. I think that's the end of your round then. That's like, okay, that's how long you lasted then. So that's what we're going to do. We're going to say a bit of do, and I think there'd be fun to play maybe in the, in the morning when we're a little loopy and whatnot. So yeah, there you go.
