Good Morning Football is a production of the NFL in partnership with iHeartRadio.

Grab your favorite football fan and look ahead to Monday Night Football. It's Eagles-Cowboys and this is Good Morning Football. We are live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Ahead of this Monday night football matchup, Manside, Tao, Jamie Erdahl, and a couple of friends that are going to join us.

One of the league's fiercest rivalries.

We've got the Eagles playing host to.

The Dallas Cowboys.

It doesn't get any better than this.

Are we ready?

It's a three-hour GMFE staff special from Stateside Live.

Roll it!

That's right.

We've made a couple of friends already this morning in Philadelphia. Oh, the music is a beautiful thing to hear in the city of brotherly love. Jamie Erdahl, Manti Tseo on GMFB presented by Old Trapper Beef Jerky. As always, a warm welcome to you on a chilly, perfect fall morning to play a football game about 12 hours from now.

Manti, how you doing?

Jamie, it's not good morning football anymore. It's great morning football being here in Philadelphia.

It's nippy. It's perfect football weather.

And I can't wait to see this showdown with these fans.

Just because it's nippy, it doesn't mean that you won't see a costume change from the next friend that we are going to have here on GMFB. He is an actor, a producer, and his face is in a photograph from 25 years ago from a fan here on GMFB. You know him, you love him, and he just got off a plane from Paris. It's Kyle Brand.

Let's go! Good morning, Philadelphia! You beautiful bastards.

Hey, hey, hey.

Eagles.

Now, now, before we get the show started, you guys know I love you. And we go back years. We got history. We are a national show. We are responsible for representing all 32 NFL teams. We love the birds, but we are responsible. So I had a few wardrobe changes I thought about making today. I just want to bounce some of them off you. So you give me your feedback.

All right, here we.

Go.

Okay, let's, let's, oh, oh no. It's not great, Kyle.

Should I wear this for the whole show? All right, all right, wait.

Okay, okay.

What else you got under there, Kyle?

No.

Super Bowl champion, all.

Right.

I'm gonna give you one more, all right?

I need something a little lighter, maybe a little cooler, maybe a little tanner.

God help us all. Let's go.

All right.

We got to get another friend out here. This guy is a legend. This guy is larger than life.

And this guy was right here at this stadium at Lincoln Financial during WrestleMania 40 walking down in a full mummer's costume.

You know him. You love him.

The visionary.

The architect.

The Monday Night Messiah becomes the Monday Morning Messiah.

Philadelphia give it up for Seth freaking Rollins!

Philadelphia! Let me hear you! We are live!

And it is good morning football!

Sing it, Philly, like only you can, baby! Let me hear you! Oh, you're beautiful! Beautiful as you've ever been. All the way from Rittner Avenue at ECW over to Lincoln.

Financial at WrestleMania.

I love Philly. I love you guys. Let's rock and roll. Yeah.

Yes.

Yes, sir.

Kyle, who else you got?

Oh, Jamie, it's funny that you asked. I can't find the stage.

All right, Philly.

There's only one man who has the energy to follow Seth freaking Rollins.

Who?

Who that?

Hailing from the University of Miami by way of the Dallas Cowboys.

Oh, no.

Number 88, the playmaker, Michael freaking Irvin.

Oh, no.

Come on, baby.

That's all right.

You guys are going to need all.

You can get.

Come on, baby.

Be louder than that. You're going to need all you can.

Get, baby.

What's up, baby?

What's up, A & A?

What's up, A & A?

What's up, baby? We're about to do this.

Let's go, baby.

Let's go, honey. Let's go, darling.

Let's go.

We're going to take all of you, baby. Oh, man, that's the family. We're going to take.

Them the whole family.

Show to get here. How y'all doing, baby?

How you doing?

Good to see you, brother. Good to see you.

Are you ready to have a show?

That's a wrap. I'm trying. You look right, baby.

You look right, baby.

You look right, baby. You look great.

You look great.

How are we supposed to talk football right now? You can't do it.

He brought the vintage.

He brought out the vintage.

Don't mess around. Don't be quick. Don't make me go get some pads. Don't make me go get some pads.

Y'all remember them days I had shoulder pads.

Don't make me put this jersey on. I'm letting him know.

I know. I know you're letting him know.

Don't make me put this jersey on. Y'all remember them days.

Don't mess around.

We got a game to play tonight.

Jamie, Irv is so intimidated by my Tanner McKee jersey, I can tell.

Yeah, I bet.

We gonna put BTA tonight.

B-T-A.

That's what we doing tonight.

No, no, no.

You're right.

You're right.

Y'all right. It's going to be B-T-A-E-A-G-L-E-S. Belcher and Eagle.

That's what we're going to do.

Y'all dead right. Y'all got it right. This has been a great show.

Great show.

Thank you for having us. I am here now.

We can do it.

Wait, wait, wait. Y'all get mine.

Irv, though, the way that.

Seth, we're going to rock this, Seth.

Settle in.

We got to talk about Eagles-Cowboys.

Proper heel.

Because this is very challenging, Irv. This was such a thrilling way to start our day.

We're so hospitable here.

But the fact of the matter is, the NFC East is confusing as ever. Both of these teams have had a challenging start this season. Irv, speak on your Cowboys.

How did we get here to 2-4 for Dallas?

Well, it's... Okay.

Any assemblage of a great team, even when it has great talent, takes time. Right now, you see the Cowboys certainly on defense playing very inconsistency. In the last couple weeks, on offense, they kind of seeped over on the offensive side. So they got to get that right. And what better time to get it right than these— This Fix-It Eagles team that we got out here. We're all praying for Jalen Hurst. I love him as a dude. But without him, y'all.

Come on, man. It's a whole different squad, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Well, Irv, you mentioned the defense, right?

You mentioned in the defense, they're the only team in the NFL to give up more than 375 yards.

In five to six games.

Now, I look at this defense and it reminds me of the Chicago Bears defense from last year. You have a new defensive coordinator come in town with Christian Parker. but then they have some key injuries at the most important positions. And Mike Linebacker, overshown, he's been out. They're two safeties. They haven't played together since week one. And you look back at that real game, right? You figure out, how does Lamar Jackson hit Zay Flowers with seven seconds left in the game to put him in field goal range?

Lack of communication.

So when you are Christian Parker and.

You're trying to establish this new system, it's almost impossible to do that when you have a rotating door at the two most important positions on the football field, the Mike Linebacker and the safety.

Okay, okay, so you put it on the defense. This is supposed to be an elite offense in Dallas.

They're supposed to have the.

Two best wide receivers in football in CeeDee Lamb and George Biggs. They're supposed to have Dak Prescott throwing for 5,000 yards and 50 touchdowns. They're supposed to have a 2,000-yard running back, and they don't have any of that. There is so much hype behind this offense. Look, everybody's saying we got this new defense. It's going to be great.

It's going to take time.

It's going to get rolling.

They're supposed to have a package and ready offense right now, and it is underperforming every step of the way. This offense is going to carry this team, and if it doesn't carry this— Wait.

Wait, wait, Seth. Wait, Seth.

You say it every step of the way. The last two games, they've been underperforming. The last two games, they have underperformed. But prior to that, they were one of the best teams. So what I'm saying is, what I'm saying is, for them to get back to performing it's nothing but a decision. It's not a talent problem. It's not like we can't do it. We're just not doing it.

That's the reality of that situation.

Got to execute.

Now, the defense is different.

We don't know that they can do it because they have not done it at all.

We got to figure it out.

I don't know if you've ever had a GMFB cast that has rendered Kyle speechless up until this point.

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.

What the hell are we talking about? What are we doing here? I know why the Eagles are struggling, all right? Jalen's out. Saquon's out. Lane walks away. God bless him. What the hell is wrong with the Cowboys?

Wait, wait, wait. Wait, wait, wait. Wait, wait, let's stop. Y'all are being told right now.

Kyle?

He's telling y'all half-truths.

Those are half-truths.

Those are not real truth. Because Jalen was there. Saquon was there. They all was there. And the Eagles were struggling. Yeah, they were winning, but they were struggling.

So come on.

Don't try to act like, oh, now we falling and can't get up.

Yeah, they were winning, but they're struggling.

They were winning. You failed before they went out. You failed before they went out.

That's true.

Don't even act that way.

That's true. He's right. He's got a point.

Playmakers got a point.

Yeah, I got a point.

I got plenty of points.

I've been making them all day.

That's right. Here's what I love, Mike. What are you going to say? What in the world are you going to say?

If this Eagles team takes out the Cowboys tonight, what.

Are you going to say? You can't lose to Tanner McKee.

Let me tell you something.

I am a wordsmith, a wordologist, and I understand and hear everything.

Did you hear what he said? He said, what would I do if? He didn't say, what would I do when? Because he doesn't believe it.

He doesn't even believe it. He doesn't believe that they have a chance. So I know you don't have a chance if your own fans ain't believing.

Oh, baby.

All right, let's get a beacon of positivity and optimism in here. With more on that, we want to welcome in Mike Garofalo, our NFL Network insider, who played football at Gloucester Catholic in South Jersey.

Oh, that's not accurate.

He did the business right here. Is that not accurate?

No, it's bad information. This is a yelling show. I got to yell back at you.

That's not correct information, Jamie.

I played at nearby St. John Newman High School here in South Philly. I tried to update that information before the show. I think I just heard some cheers. We got some Newman folks in the house. I love it, Jamie.

I have some Mike Garofalo fans in my house because we need the information about the Eagles roster.

So again, like I said.

let's put a smile on the Eagles fans face before tonight's game even though I know that's not what you're going to tell me Mike go ahead.

No I will say Quan Barkley oh good trending toward playing tonight for the Eagles returning to action the running back has been dealing with a hamstring injury the last couple of weeks can't guarantee it as of right now they have to see how he goes through the day certainly through warm-ups but everything is looking good for Barkley to return to action here. Listen, it's been week three since they've had both Saquon Barkley and Devontae Smith, the wide receiver, on the field at the same time. That is not going to happen tonight because Smith has been ruled out with a hamstring injury that he has been dealing with. So the good news. Saquon looking like he's going to be back in action. He's a big Tanner

McKee guy. Those two are buddies. I believe they play a lot of golf together. I know he wants to be out there as much as he possibly can for McKee. So it looks like that's going to be the case. Again, can't guarantee it, but it is trending in that direction. Let's bring up all the Eagles injuries because there certainly are plenty of them right now. You're looking at Nolan Smith, Michael Carter, too, as well.

How about this?

Landon Dickerson last night on Instagram. put up that he is returning that I think he changed the caption afterward but still had the pictures up so it looks like Dickerson is in line to make his return that is the expectation and there's Eli Stowers the tight end the second round pick he has to come off injury reserve for that to happen by four o'clock he had a full practice last week so it's looking like Stowers could make his debut as well so there is some good injury information in there for you for the.

Eagles Thank you, Mike. My apologies for putting you in the wrong alumni class.

For the various. Shout him out again. Who'd you play high school football for?

Do the math.

Thanks, Mike G. Talk to you in a little bit.

Mike, we're not playing golf. This is football.

So that they play golf together means nothing to us tonight. It means nothing whatsoever. Why you threw that in? I have no idea.

Let's go, baby. Ain't nobody playing golf. We are not playing golf tonight.

It's called football.

Kyle, as the kids would say, what's your vibe check on wearing that Tanner McKee jersey around here?

I feel great. Never felt better. Don't worry.

So you think they're going to Tanner McKee this thing.

To the end of the season? They might.

And the Cowboys will be playing golf during wild card week.

I know that. Oh, my.

Gosh.

Every time Kyle sets his mic down, it's another 30 seconds of just jawing at this.

You guys are a beautiful crowd. Damn.

Oh, my gosh. All right, coming up, we have to somehow keep talking.

About these two teams, and we're going to do it in a healthy and mature manner. We're at Stateside Live for the next three hours here on GMFB, and this is ahead of tonight's kickoff between the Eagles and the Cowboys.

It's Monday Night Football, and it's a thing of beauty.

A lot of different ways you can watch it. Monday Night Football playbook, Peyton and Eli, the Manning brothers, also that big, beautiful ABC, ESPN, the family of networks, 8 p.m. Eastern to kickoff. from the link right across the parking lot for us. I bet every single one of these people are going to have a butt in the chair tonight ahead of Eagles-Cowboys to watch this game. From Bucks County to Montgomery County to Delaware County in South Jersey, we've got everybody represented here on GMFB.

We'll be right back.

Good morning football.

We're back on GMFB. We've lost Kyle Brandt to the crowd. He's holding a piece of paper. Kyle, you're going to make a lot of friends right now.

Because you have a.

Defending Super Bowl champion, you have a Super Bowl champion MVP who came back into town. Oh, yeah.

And the Seahawks had to make a case in themselves last night. Go ahead. Take it away, KB.

I was one of those, Jamie, where I didn't know where you were going, and I got nervous for a second, but we landed the plane.

Hey, you guys want to do some highlights?

Let's go.

Why not? All right. Seahawks.

Chiefs.

All right, so you know the story. Kenneth Walker comes back to the stadium.

He played in.

They didn't want to resign him, so certainly he did big things.

No.

Mahomes.

He's bootlegging left.

And then what?

He throws an interception.

This looks like in the Superdome against the Eagles, guys.

All right.

He's been incredible. He's tearing the league up. But look at this. All kinds of contain. Great job here on the XO by the Seahawks. They were all over Walker. Couldn't break any big runs. Couldn't really break any small runs either.

This was a pure domination from Seattle.

Look, he tries to bounce it. They keep contain.

I love how technical we're getting with this highlight with X's and O's and stuff.

That's our shot. I love that. Thank you for cutting that for us. All the way.

This guy is like the best player in the world.

That's Jackson Smith. Jackson Smith and Jigbaugh. Beautiful name, beautiful spiral. Sam Donald hits him.

I don't know if there's a player in the entire league who is more talented right now at their given position than JSN, the reigning offensive player of the year. Walker does nothing. The Chiefs do nothing. 20-3, Jamie Erdahl. 20-3, the world champs stand up. Got to respect the NFC.

Truly, Kyle. Well done. We did land the plane on that one. The Seahawks set up themselves last night.

A lot of commentary online about how Kenneth Walker III was going to come to Seattle and prove to them why they never should have let him walk out. But instead, it was the Seahawks defenseman side that stood up for themselves.

Oh, you already know where I was going, Jane.

I know.

Come on now.

I mean, he's going to Delphi.

Yes, the Philadelphia Eagles fans know this as well. Defense wins championships, and that's what the Seattle Seahawks defense did last night. They proved why they are one of the best defenses here. They made the Chiefs one-dimensional, right?

You got Kenneth Walker.

They held him to his lowest amount of yards all season long.

The biggest talk all year has.

Been Kenneth Walker, in addition to this Kansas City Chiefs defense.

Well, they took this 2026 Kansas City Chiefs offense... and made him look like 2025.

No run game, made him one-dimensional, and I'm going to mention a name, Nick Imanwari.

Yeah.

Man, I saw this guy at the line of scrimmage making plays. I saw him running down the field at Xavier Worthy, who runs a 4-2-40. He does everything and anything for that defense, and they made a big statement last night against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Yeah, listen, man, you can tell me what you want. That game last night was so good.

Yeah.

It was simply the Seattle Seahawks saying, hey... Uh-huh. We made you. Yeah.

You've been shaking your tail in everybody else's house, but you will not shake tail here tonight.

Uh-huh.

I mean, last week, K-9 averaged seven yards per carry in 1948.

Uh-huh. Seven per carry.

His longest play last night.

Was seven yards.

Uh-huh. total not today man they hey man they said we made you we know you don't come back here trying that do that outside but in here they would they were determined to shut all that down jamie you talked about it i know canine wanted to come back and say i told y'all i was this i told y'all i was that that defense said no way, and shut it down. It looked like the best defense last night in the NFL. It looked like the defense that won the Super Bowl for.

The last year.

That's the thing.

That's the thing. Thus far this season, Seattle, a little mixed bag, right? Right, right, right. Maybe the defense lost a step. I think they heard that. And they said, last night, not going to happen. Absolutely not.

But also, on the other side of that, the offense looked good in a way that it hadn't because Sam Darnold was not reckless with the football.

Now, they don't have a great running game in Seattle.

That's very good, Seth. Man, you ain't been just wrestling.

I know. You're good.

You're right, bro. Hey, boy, he's right. Sam and JSN was on point. That's it, dude.

JSN was on point.

Every time you turned around, they were throwing the ball to JSN. You get the ball in that guy's hands, he's going to make plays for you.

He made a ton of plays last night.

They did just enough, and that's the kind of game they got to play until they get that running game going, and then they can start firing the ball down the field, and hopefully Sam Darnold's going to throw the picks. But, man, they looked like defending world champions last night for the first time this season.

They look great. Listen, so Walker gets stuffed.

All right.

They got Holmes. Yeah. They got Kelsey.

They got everybody else. They did not enter the red zone. That's the first time. Not even to the red zone. They got Harrison Butker shaking field goals from outside the red zone. It reminded me, frankly, of Chiefs versus Eagles in the Super Bowl.

Yeah.

Yeah. Not that first one where that terrible call took it away from the Eagles.

At the end of the game. I'm talking about the second.

One where they went B-T-A in the Superdome and the Chiefs couldn't do anything.

It was eerily.

Stop playing to the crowd. Stop playing to the crowd. It did not. No, no.

It reminded him if you were doing it the right way, you would have said it reminded you of COVID in the year that the Kansas City Chiefs lost to the.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

That's what Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he's trying to play to you guys, and he's up here not being truthful and totally right.

I liked it.

I now arrived. Michael Irvin accused me of playing to the crowd. Like, I did it. I did it, Dad. I should have said, you guys, last night the game reminded me of COVID.

That's a great take.

That's a beautiful take.

I was going to say that next.

We don't want to have memories of 2020 at this point.

Welcome back to gmfb mike g uh the thing about sunday yes it was that we started the day with three undefeated teams two fell in the chiefs and the san francisco 49ers which remains one team left undefeated in the nfl season if you can't see my smirk you can sense it mike g though this doesn't come without a cost from an injury perspective as always so what do you got for us after the 1310 colts.

Win The Minnesota Vikings, the last undefeated team in the NFL, just like I predicted back in the preseason. Don't worry, you don't have to go look for that clip, Jamie. You're just going to have to take my word for it. Aaron Jones, the running back, aggravating his knee injury that he had suffered earlier in the season. Kevin O'Connell telling reporters that after the game, he will undergo testing. He'll have an MRI today. From my understanding, this is nothing catastrophic.

Doesn't mean that he's not going to miss time. Doesn't mean that he could be out potentially for a short amount of time, but it is nothing catastrophic. That is the team that has the team worried right now that he is going to miss the rest of the season. So there's the good news there for the Minnesota Vikings as they look to remain undefeated and get Aaron Jones back on the field as soon as possible. The full testing today will tell that whole story, Jamie.

All right, Mike G, thank you very much.

We got a game to look forward to tonight, though, and that is why we are at Stateside Live.

In Philadelphia for Good Morning Football, everybody. We love this crowd. We love everyone that.

Has shown up.

We can see our breath, and we do not care.

If you don't think that Kyle and Ir have yelled at each other enough, just wait for a segment we got coming up later called Monday Motivation.

Oh, yeah, don't wait. You think we're going to play to the crowd, Jamie? We got it.

We love you, Philadelphia.

By the way, way better than.

The fans around we're back on gmfb we're still yucking it up the beautiful thing about eagles fans is that they span from philly to south jersey and that's one of the beautiful ways that you can jump back and forth you cross that bridge and you get to the link and then you become an eagles fan at heart now listen the eagles started this season at two and four up until tonight nick sirianni has appeared in two super bowls as a head coach he's won one of them however When we have this conversation about Sirianni, a lot of questions come up and a lot of opinions about what he has handled so far. And that is the fact that his quarterback out for the season with the blood clot situation.

It feels dire right now.

And despite the fact that he has had unprecedented success in his first five years as the Eagles head coach, as I mentioned, two Super Bowl appearances, that one win.

And he's taken the team to the playoffs every single season.

This is not the first time Nick Sirianni's future is in question. So Mike Garofalo, there is an ominous feeling surrounding this team right now.

And it starts with the head coach. What do you want, Kyle?

He had an upside down flag. That's a distress signal. We don't want that.

Go ahead.

Go ahead.

Yeah.

Are we doing this with the Eagles right now? Is it like a cry for help or are we turning it around? Mike, what are we doing with Sirianni?

What are we doing?

What are the Eagles doing? The Eagles are standing firmly behind their head coach and feeling like that he is a big part of the success they've had last couple of years, obviously. Look, I was on a radio appearance down here last year after the season, less than a calendar year removed from this guy winning the Super Bowl and had to passionately argue that Nick Sirianni was going to remain the head coach of the Eagles. So if it's not a great season, if it's not a homestretch here, There will be that conversation here in Philadelphia, but I know where the organization stands on this, and they feel like they've got a good head coach in Nick Sirianni.

I've had assistant coaches that have worked with him the last couple of years saying, this is the best head coach that I've ever worked for, and they've worked for numerous head coaches before. So Sirianni has not had a full hand to work with this year, and certainly losing his franchise quarterback is not going to help things as well as they get themselves into November. We're not even in November yet, and he's going to have to play with his backup quarterback. So I just know that I can tell you the conversations that I've had with folks inside the organization that they firmly stand behind a head coach they feel really good about.

Mike G, real quick, just because you brought up Jalen Hurts. They're still good, right? Let's just have clarification that the relationship between quarterback and coach and organization is still on.

The up and up.

Between the quarterback and the head coach, Nick Sirianni?

Yes.

We have asked about that repeatedly because we've heard all kinds of rumors.

We've heard them all.

And we did ask about that. And they said, no, these guys are great. They communicate all the time. And they are in a great spot. They've communicated since Jalen Hurts has been down with the blood clots as well. He certainly remained. in communication with the organization, but we'll talk about that coming up.

Mike G, thank you.

You know, I feel for Nick Sirianni, I do, because he's got 53 guys that he has to keep right on the field, in and out of the building. I got four guys up here for GMFB, and Kyle is like ping-ponging around in the crowd. Let's go have a Nick Sirianni conversation. Kyle, you ready to talk a little Nick Sirianni here?

I think it's time, don't you?

Sure.

Listen, fascinating deal, Nick Sirianni. You guys, I think, as a.

City, as a fan base, I'm talking to Philadelphia, has an interesting relationship with him.

Maybe Nick Sirianni isn't the... isn't the best at the X's and O's. Who knows? Maybe he isn't the best coach in the league on game day. I don't know. Trying to be polite. I'm in your city.

Some things are better left unsaid. My point was, is that what Nick Sirianni is supposed to stand for, motivation. locker room all the intangible stuff is why he's here but you know what let's do a test i'm just one man eagles fans yes i'm gonna ask you a question if you if the answer is yes be really loud if the answer is no be silent you guys have been to two super bowls with this coach you have a world championship because of this coach right now in 2026 do you support nick sirianni.

It's pretty damn good, coach. Pretty damn good. I mean, not everybody was cheering.

I see some of you sitting on your hands not saying squat. But it's democracy. It was invented in this city, okay? You guys should exercise it.

What do you think, Manta?

Well, when I think of Nick Sirianni, this is going to be his biggest test so far because Jalen hurts us out. My biggest question for you is where does your leadership come from? And when I look at this team, the leadership has always come from the players, whether it be Jason Kelsey, Fletcher Cox, Brendan Graham, Jalen Hurts.

It's never come from Nick Sirianni.

And so now that you don't have all of these pieces there, now he's exposed.

Now you just can't be the X's and O's, guys.

You have to be that guy when crap hits the fan, who's going to take one for the team?

And it has to be the head coach.

We're going to see what he stands for and what he stands on as a head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles.

And he's been here a long time. Irv, the same cannot be said about Brian Schottenheimer. The Cowboys also start this season at two and four. We were fascinated at the end of last week. He's publicly calling out George Pickens for not blocking downfield in the run game. What do you make of perhaps the pressure that Brian Schottenheimer is feeling right now in establishing a culture that he needs for success in Dallas?

Well, what we know in this league, it's about being productive regardless of the situation. No one cares to hear the excuse of you don't have this or you don't have this or what you need. It's about... playing winning football and that's what he has to get this team doing i understand you're got you have to learn and get the defense going you got a lot of guys coming together but that offense who he is in charge of has to get back to playing the kind of football that can give that defense time to develop and get better and that's the issue right now for the dollar i.

Got a question what is your thoughts when your head coach starts to use the word i Instead of we, like I am a good head coach.

I do this.

What are your thoughts as to how you as a player respond to a coach that uses that word I?

We have the only sport in the world that does not have individual, isolated success.

So I... It's out of our sport.

You know, you can play basketball and you can have individual success. Take the ball off one rim, dunk it on the other. You play baseball and slap it home run from home plate. There is no such thing as individual isolated eye in the NFL or in the football, in the game of football. So, no, you have to make sure that you have your team working together.

You played for some pretty good coaches in your day, all right? What do you look for when you.

Think perfect head coach, ideal guy to lead the charge?

Like, what do you see? What do you look for? Is there any of that in Sirianni?

Like, what is it about a man, or sorry, Schottenheimer, that makes an elite head coach?

And it is that in Coach Schottenheimer. What I love about Coach Schottenheimer, and I've been to some practices and I've been around the facility. And he understands most NFL games are won late. And he creates late pressure situations. That's how you have to win games. It's just not translating, at least defensively. Earlier in the season, he was doing it offensively. He's just not getting it done defensively right now.

And I think that's why it's so important that offense has to get going. and put 30 points on the board and give.

That defense time.

That's why we watch tonight, Monday Night Football. It's Eagles-Cowboys. We're at GMFB. We're at Stateside Live. And Kyle is out of his seat again.

He's gone.

I'm going to jump into the fire.

Do it.

I'm going to ask the Eagles fans one word to describe Nick Cerini. Now, don't punk me and say some crazy F-bomb on live TV. I know you Eagles fans how you roll.

Respect the show.

Respect me. Nick Sirianni's been at two soap bowls.

One, one.

Give me one word to describe Nick Sirianni. Sincere. Sincere. What about you, Optimus Prime?

Bum.

Oh.

Uh, he's confused right now. Sincere, confused bum. Who else wants one? This face shield guy. He's a champ.

He's a champ. Great word.

And I can't believe we got through that segment.

Kyle, what are you doing? Open mic in the crowd.

You're rolling the dice right there, Big Oaks.

Fantastic. Oh, we'll be right back.

I'm an 88 baby, so I love anybody who wears that number when they play in the NFL. We've got a couple of Cowboys that wear that number.

We're going to play a little game here on GMFB. Rank them.

We got faces, and Irv is on it. What age was he, though, when he had the popsicle stick?

Next on GMFB.

Good morning, football.

We're back on GMFB. You love watching these guys on Sunday mornings. And you know why?

It's because they are willing to do what it takes to talk to the people, to talk to the crowd, and to fire the fans up. So, Kyle, even though this is a home game for you, you are one of the OG hosts on GMFB, you don't get to go first for Monday Motivation.

That's fine.

Irv, you are up for Monday Motivation.

I know you're not used to working on Sundays, but do this for us on GMFB. You see some very friendly stars out here, some 88 jerseys even.

So talk to your people. Hit it with a little Monday motivation on you. Take it away.

When we start talking about this, we understand, guys. You know, I know we're out here amongst these enemies, but it's where we're going to do our best work. I love being in the land where everybody hates you the most, in Philadelphia.

I know you.

Guys just got in the Super Bowl business. I understand you just got in the Super Bowl business. But we been in the business. We been in the business for a long time. And we know how to win Super Bowl. And we will get back starting tonight at the coast of.

These Eagles fans. I tell y'all what, I guarantee y'all.

Tonight, you lose in your own hometown. We will help. Our God coming, taking your food, sitting on your plate, and winning this game.

Nobody, nobody, we will win this game. Let me see this. You see this, y'all? You see this star? Give me this jacket. Give me this jacket.

Give me your clothes. Y'all see it.

Y'all see it. It's coming. It's going up. You can say what you want. Hey, you can't beat a cowboy.

Y'all can't beat a cowboy. Y'all hate it, but y'all are not America's team. No matter how much you hate it, y'all can't change it, and you won't beat it tonight.

That's the truth, buddy. That's the truth, baby.

Yeah, Irv. There he is.

Get him. Get him. What a cowboy.

Proper heel. Proper heel, guys.

Go ahead.

Hey, we got three cowboy fans out here.

I got three cowboy fans.

That's all you need, Irv.

And he took the jacket off one of them.

Well done, Irv.

Yet another shot clock violation from Michael Irvin.

I got it.

No wonder he's so good at that speech. He's been giving it for 30 years.

Oh.

I'm not going to raise my voice because I don't need to raise my voice.

Now, I am here with the people, as a man of the people. I don't have Super Bowl rings. I didn't show up in a Ferrari. I was in an Uber X.

I got questions for the Eagles fans. You shout out your answer. Are you afraid of the Dallas Cowboys?

No.

Are you afraid of the Washington Commanders?

No!

Are you afraid of J.J.

McCarthy?

No!

Considering what's going on with the Hurricanes, are the Cowboys even Michael Irvin's favorite.

Team right now?

No!

Have you been through, is this the first time you've been through difficult times?

No!

Is this the last time you're going to go through difficult times?

No!

Are the Dallas Cowboys going to come into your... I said I wasn't going to scream.

Are the Dallas Cowboys going to come into your house right over there and beat.

Your birds tonight?

And I will just finish, not with one sentence, not with one word.

But just with one letter.

E-F-G-L-E-S.

I love you, bastards! Let's go, birds! You guys are better than the Bears crowd.

The Chiefs crowd was really good, but since you've been so good, we want to give you a little reward. We got mostly Eagles fans. We have a few Cowboys fans. I want to give you something you can agree on, just a little gift. You guys like jerseys, okay? I got a jersey. Whoever wants it, put your hand up.

All right, here we go. Oh.

That was a trick.

I mean, who wants it? Right there, right there, KB.

Shot put, style, nice.

Now he just wiped his shoes with it.

How dare he?

Nothing else?

We have more jerseys to come throughout the show. Any requests? What jerseys do you want?

Dawkins, give me a Dawkins.

You guys got plenty of Dawkins.

We had plenty of football played on Sunday, so let's do a GMFE classic.

Rewind that.

Manta, you're up first. KB, you'd be happy with this rewind. I know you bet everything on Jameer. He threw the jersey back? He threw it back like a home run at Wrigley.

Oh, my God. I don't want this.

Go ahead, Vantar.

I'll take a throwback. Jameer Gibbs, KB. I don't know if you saw this play, but the juice that he put on the defenders yesterday. Where is it at? Put it on it. Watch this. Oh, my gosh.

That's one of the toughest tackles to make on the football field.

It's in the big gap, wide open, with one of the best, mostly lucid running backs in the league. That's Jameer Gibbs. I know you bet everything on Jameer.

Gibbs, KB.

I think you'd be happy to see.

Look at this.

Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Tamir. Not good. That's my rewind at moment. Tamir Gibbs. Nick Duffy. Didn't look good.

I feel like he was juking before he even got the ball.

He knew what he was going to do, Seth. He looked like Saquon in 2024.

Oh, come on now.

Hey, hey, hey.

Maybe get a little Saquon. I'm going to the 49ers-Falcons game. There was an interception in this game that was unbelievable.

We got to look at it. Jesse Bates. He's going down the sideline, trying to get rid of the ball. Doesn't see Jesse Bates.

Throws it. Rewind it.

Look at the concentration to get the feet inbounds.

He's holding this thing with one fingertip.

He's looking it into his hand. Look at this. He's got one fingertip on this ball. Unbelievable that he hits the ground and.

It doesn't move.

Two feet in.

And that's not a wide receiver, Irv.

That's a DB with two hands.

That's a DB.

Man, unbelievable play.

Unbelievable.

Had to see it a million times.

Two for two.

Irv, what you got on rewind that?

Not many TVs can catch like that, to be honest with you.

That's right.

But I got a guy that knows how to snatch everything that's thrown between heaven and earth.

And he has this.

He wears number one, and his team is number one. I got to rewind all the way back to the real time in Miami.

When Malachi Tony has been taking over everything.

Oh!

That's what I'm talking about.

That fella right there is playing like the best wide receiver in the world.

World right now. In the world right now. From the U.

Y'all see it right there, man.

Him and Mr.

Boat should be frontrunners for the Heisman Trophy. See that right there? That's 16 receptions, 184 yards. And you know he's getting the pass, and you still can't stop it. Your mom, dad, brother, sister, niece, nephew, uncle, cousin, and second cousin know, and.

They still can't stop it. Even the second cousin? Even the second cousin.

They all know, and they can't stop it.

Kyle, have we ever had a college play on Rewind that?

No, we haven't. But if you guys didn't like that one, wait till this one. The New York Giants are winning, guys. I'm sorry, they are. They're winnings.

They're winning so much that roll the videotape, please, for the people here in Philadelphia.

We got celebrations. We got tackles.

The head coach goes down.

Oh, no. Listen, you want to take these guys out. This is what you're fighting against. This is chemistry. This is energy. This is a win on the road against the Texans, albeit.

But they're 4-2-1, and that social security number is the head of your division.

So beautiful day for the Giants.

Not great for the birds, but they played tonight, Jamie.

Kyle, you've said it once already today, and I'll say it again. This crowd is elite. It's our best ever on GMFB. And listen, we're all, as we always say on GMFB, we're.

All parents at the table.

So we know what it's like to make sacrificial decisions on behalf of and for your child. Raise your hand if you're skipping school today to be at GMFB.

Oh, yeah.

That kid's a legend. We got one. We got two.

We got three.

Four.

I got teenagers out here. We're skipping school.

To be at GMFB. This is school, Jamie. Let's go.

This is education.

You know why I like it, Jamie? They're skipping a Monday. Like, not some Friday. Like, the Mondays at school hit different.

They didn't do your homework.

I know what that's like.

Thank you for the dedication to be here.

That's just one hour on Good Morning Football here. We got a hat already on GMFB.

Fantastic show already today. We got two more hours of Stateside Live. We've got more friends coming.

Jeremiah Trotter's coming by the show.

Yeah.

Brandon Graham.

Brandon Graham is coming by the show.

It's Cowboys, Eagles, and Monday Night Football. There's nowhere else we'd rather be.

We'll be right back.
