Is Yoplait a children's yogurt? I don't know. Oh, you know.

Fuck.

Yeah.

That was the exact same answer that I gave yesterday, except I didn't go quite to yeah.

I was like... Let me think about how to, but I think you're both are considering. Yeah. Which I can tell both of you are considering what's the answer that's going to devastate him and trying to figure that out. And so you have to go, well, so it's a child's yogurt for you.

Yeah.

Like, I don't think you could buy your play.

You can, but I would be embarrassed to buy your play if I didn't have kids.

I bought it for myself. I have kids. I got a kid. I bought it for myself.

Would you put it in the same genre as like Kraft mac and cheese in terms of like things that you buy that if you are caught buying them for yourself?

No, no, no. You can't. You can't shave Kraft.

No, Kraft is normal.

Kraft is normal.

Okay. Yeah. Oh, thank God.

Right?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, no, no. Even like Annie's Cheddar Bunnies. That's still adult, man. Box mac and cheese is still like an American. Okay, now.

Look.

Okay, now. I can't have my Annie's Cheddar Bunnies, dude. I will say, like, when Annie's Cheddar Bunnies became the go-to, that is what made me think, oh, this is for children because they've made it bunny-shaped. Like they've made it. That's just their brand. That's their aesthetic as a brand, Jack. Goldfish.

Goldfish for adults.

Just an American classic.

American classic.

Just for kids. Jeez, it's an American classic.

So what else is in the family of Yoplait where you would be embarrassed to be buying? Are there like sweetened cereals? Fruit roll-ups.

Fruit roll-ups.

Okay.

Fruit by the foot. Hold on, hold on, hold on. This is my thing though. Yoplait was never marketed, directed at children. That's what I'm saying. It wasn't.

It wasn't?

I don't remember a Yoplait ad that was for kids. I remember in the 80s, it was very classy. You're drinking your Yoplait. You're having your Yoplait yogurt. Yeah.

In the family that is foods that are not explicitly for children. But you'd be embarrassed to buy as an adult.

Why is that embarrassing? Why is that going to be embarrassing? Not embarrassing, but just like... Humiliating, maybe is a better word? Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Like humiliating on a deep level to the very depths of your soul.

Damn. Like snack pudding? Like snack back?

Because I bought that for myself, for sure.

I love snack pack, too. You know how I do it to feel older? I'll get the tapioca.

I'd say Yoplait and snack pack are in a category where they straddle the line and are kind of like the health foods of a food world that includes fruit by the foot, fruit roll-ups, the little fruit snacks. I think.

Yeah, probably.

Like there, there are the Welsh's ones that are not, they don't have cartoons on the, on the front, you know, or at least not usually they're not like, no, those are for adults. So those are for adults.

Okay, good.

But like, I think they're, I think they're.

In a world where they're like, what if we take this kid's thing, but put it in a packaging that makes it seem like not necessarily just for adults. Right. Yeah. Now, drinkable yogurt products. Hold on. Go-Gurt is made by Yoplait. Okay. Go-Gurt made by Yoplait.

Child offering.

That's directed straight up at kids. Yes.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

I am not a child.

I was sort of thinking, you're not a child, but I was also thinking, so there, in my head, when, like, Yoplait, I was thinking of the, like, the kids yogurt, but there's.

The adult Yoplait.

Okay.

That's what I mean. Wait, what's the adult Yoplait?

The, the, the, They're like, they're sold alone.

Single. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then there's Yolk Play.

Where they're sold in packs.

Yeah, Lucy's. I don't know why, but Lucy's.

There's some Lucy's.

Well, see, sometimes the Lucy's, they're not on the specials. I had to go with the multi-pack, which I do concede when my child was looking at the options, he said, yeah, let me get that one. Yeah. I mean, it's very sweet. It's very sweet. It's good. It's delicious. It's got fruit in it. I risked my case, my honor. Yeah, my honor.

I'm off this. I'm off this bro.

Hello, the internet, and welcome to Season 462, Episode 2 of Der Daily Zeitgeist! A production of iHeartRadio as a podcast where we take a deep dive into America's shared consciousness through the day's news. We also have a new non-news history version of TDZ dropping each Monday morning called The Iconograph, where we do a deep dive into the zeitgeist through the lens of a different icon. We just got done our October long run of Frightcons. We just did our fourth, which was Creepy Children. Why are we so scared of children? Because they are kind of the number one ingredient for making a movie slightly creepier. And they shouldn't be, because I could beat them up. You know?

As I kept insisting throughout the episode.

We'd say 40 yards downfield, you said? With hang time?

With good hang time? Anyways, that's a fun episode. It just came out yesterday with Miles Gray and Jason Parchment. So you can go check that out whenever you'd like. It is currently Tuesday, October 27th, 2026.

It's National American Beer Day. It's Cranky Co-Workers Day. It's National Black Cat Day. And World Day for Audiovisual Heritage. Shout out all the AV people in high school who were like on that shit. Usually they were like the kids who were doing tech for the theater stuff. And then you would see them at the rally. They're setting up the microphones. They're setting up some light words. Pat Duffy, I remember you. That was the dude at our high school, Pat Duffy, on top of it with the AV. And I believe, I hope he's doing that with his life now because he was excellent. He was excellent. Shout out to all the AV people out there.

It's so funny how you always remember first and last names from people when you were a kid. I know.

Like now I can't remember anyone's name.

You have to. That's the only way they stick in. I have to recite the full name every time or else I lose them and they fade away. And I want to keep them all alive.

If you wanted me to remember your name, you should have been one of the first 50 names that I learned first and last.

You know?

Yeah.

Now it's too late. It's too late for us. Yeah. No. We weren't meant to know all these names. No. All right.

My name is also, by the way, shout out to Cranky Coworkers. You know who's going to love it when you tell them that it's National Cranky Coworkers Day?

Your Cranky Coworkers. Your Cranky Coworkers. Oh, they're going to love that. Wait, what do I give a shit? Oh, you know what? I just thought of you. I just thought of you, dude. No reason.

You're such a bummer.

Yeah.

Probably mostly pointed out by people who like to tell people they have a case of the Mondays, you know.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, also, cranky coworker feels pretty passive aggressive because you would never be like, because everyone goes, I know who that is.

Right.

And then not tell the person. Yeah. Meanwhile, they're going around being like, oh, it's cranky coworker's name. Like, it's actually you.

Yeah.

Making eyes to the person sitting next to you. Be like, no, cranky coworker.

I would take it as a compliment.

Yeah.

I'm not bought into this capitalist scam that you guys all are. Anyways, my name is Jack O'Brien, a.k.a. Serial Killer Gene from my birth mother. Now I'm a kid who's thought of as a bad seed. And it ends with a spanking scene. That one courtesy of Andrew Bubb in reference to the original bad kid movie, creepy kid movie, which is called Bad Seed. I was not familiar with its game. It was a very... strange. Uh, it was so strange. Like they thought it was so weird to have a creepy kid, like a killer kid that they like lost their minds when making it. And like, and that they kill the girl at the end by having her struck by lightning spoiler alert, and then have, have her come out the actress and have the actress who

played the creepy girl come out and be spanked by her movie mom. Like, just to be like, this is bad. We get it, you guys. This kid sucks shit. Anyway, thank you to Andrew Bubb. Thank you to the makers of Bad Seed. Probably 1950s, I think. Thrilled to be joined, as always, by my co-host, Mr. Miles Gray.

Hey, it's Miles Gray. I'm the Shogun with no gun. Thank you for having me here. I don't have an AK at the moment because I'm in the... I got a lot of things going on. I didn't have time to check the Discord, but I will tomorrow. Trust me, I will. But thank you for having me here. We got a lot of tables, just generally. Miles got a lot going on. Oh, shout out to, I did that show last week with Zach Broussard. Shout out, Michaela, someone from Zeitgang came to the show. Also, Prop came out.

Shout out, Prop. We hung out for a minute and we watched a very bad spooky Halloween movie at Videotech, which was actually really fun. it was called head of the families like one of these like awful early 90s like pulp horror movies and it's about the family it's about a family of mutants where the head of the family is literally a gigantic head in a wheelchair who has all the powers of his children so like whatever the they're actually his siblings it's it's very convoluted too many.

Rules too much shit going on which has something in common with, with a movie that we're going to talk about a little bit later.

Yes.

Yes.

So it's not a beat beheading thing. It's a giant.

No, no, it's literally, it's, it's just like the main, like the bad guy is a big old head in a wheelchair with little, little arms, like kind of craying from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vibes.

Giant head was having a big big moment in the 90s you know yeah yeah miles we're thrilled to be joined once again by one of our very favorite guests a talented writer director comedian who you can see in her stand-up special sparkles uh no shitty job she hasn't done it's mel steve hey guys hey hey hey welcome welcome welcome.

By the way i just got Miles, your background, just now when you were talking, I was like, what a nice house that is.

Wait, I don't know what it is. It's a virtual background. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, you just figured out that it wasn't his actual background? You know the thing that's really helping? Is that this light right here, it feels like it's coming off the window.

Yeah, it does. It is actually well, you've lit it such that I can't really tell.

I feel like, yeah, this is part of like, yeah.

It seems natural.

I feel like if you start conning, like be a con man and be like, look, guys, that's why you're going to trust your money with me. It's going to be working for you. The second it hits my account, we're going to be making money. I mean, look at my place. Would I lie to you? And then it glitches out. My mom's in the background vacuuming. Does this look like the palatial estate of somebody who would lie to you?

It kind of.

Looks like the house... That the.

Incredibles move into in The Incredibles 2.

Just FYI.

For anybody at home trying to picture it in their mind.

For anyone who's trying to picture it at home, go into Zoom and go into virtual backgrounds.

Oh, really?

That's one that's just on offer? Yeah. That is kind of depressing that they're just like, everybody's going to want to look like they're a fucking billionaire. Everyone wants to look like they're the creepy pervert from Ex Machina.

Right, right. Exactly. Exactly. I'm sure like pretty soon they'll have something with like AI, like where it looks like there's servants doing work in the background to be like, oh, they have staff. They have staff.

They have staff.

I have virtual staff. Yeah, I have staff. You're like, We call them service providers. All right.

Well, Mel, we're thrilled to have you back. We're going to get to know you a little bit better in a moment. First, we're going to tell the listeners a couple of things we're talking about today. We are going to talk about the movie that I'm shocked by the lack of fanfare around this release because we just had an odyssey release. released earlier this year, everybody was fucking freaking out about it. Everybody was like, oh, yeah, you got to go see it. You got to go see it on a big screen. Elon just dropped his Odyssey, and hardly nobody is freaking the fuck out about it.

So we checked it out, and it is.

Not good.

No.

I don't even, like, I don't know what it's trying to, like, in what way it's trying to be good. But anyways, we'll talk about that.

Yeah.

We will talk about a platform being suggested by Robert Reich that I could get behind that I don't. Like, there's just these little moments where somebody suggests a very obvious thing that would be very politically popular. And it's like, oh, yeah, why is nobody... Nobody's saying that. It does involve Elon Musk also. Specifically, he's like, we should take Starlink and nationalize it.

Yeah.

SpaceX and Starlink should be owned by the government, not by him. Also, so much of his fucking fortune is built on government subsidies and You are taxpayer dollars.

So we'll talk about that. We'll talk about.

Dictionary.com has announced their 2026 word of the year. And it's one that we've actually used quite a bit. So as lame as it is. We've done it.

We'll reveal that live.

And then we'll, of course, talk about the new Johnny Depp Scrooge movie, which is doing a fun little giveaway. But I've been noticing something about the posters around town that I wanted to run by you guys.

All that. Plenty more. But first, Mel, we do like to ask our guests, what is something from your search history that's revealing about who you are?

Brandy Glanville's facial surgery.

Brandy Glanville facial surgery. You're trying to get a little... Well, no.

So she, I'm not turning in a facial surgery, but so she's been like, she's a housewife that's been having like a bunch of medical stuff happening. And she was having like a face surgery for a doctor to take part of.

She has like a facial fungal or a ball or something that's like moving.

In or parasite or something moving in her face. And she's been like, they're going to cut her open and like take it out. And I'm just like desperate to want to see it.

They're going to take her face off. Yeah.

All right.

I mean, she's had, I remember every time I read something about her, it's been like some kind of misfortune with like, like plastic surgery. She had like ruptured breast implants. She has a facial parasite. It's all. Yeah. I, I, I, yeah. Bad society. Bad society.

Yeah. Yeah.

Okay. You're beautiful just as you are. Actually, I was just kidding about that. You should go get surgery, actually. Right, right, right.

Oh, shit, the thing's moving around your face now like a chestburster, but for plastic surgery?

She said something, quote, something is in my face eating it. Yeah, and I'm, like, desperate to.

Like, I kind of just like there's the there's like the OCD part of my brain that just like wants to know what it is.

It's kind of like a pimple popper.

Yeah.

You're touching the cut on your mouth.

I just kind of want to know what that is.

I need to know what that is. They said, wow. She said doctors will examine her eustachian tubes, sinuses and gums, and she thinks they'll discover, quote, something is in my face eating it. She hopes treatment will improve drainage and help her regain her quality of life. Oh, man.

Love that she's just like 100% transparency on this. Just being like, I mean, guys, this is content.

What are you doing? Let's get views. The way she said, I'm pretty sure there's some sort of worm living in my face. But they said it's a fungus. The fungus she said is going down my body. Oh, God. Oh, it's like the fuck. It's like some Cronenberg shit.

Yeah, where you're just like, I kind of want to.

Yeah. Don't, I don't, I don't need to. Yeah. There was like, I remember there was like, I saw like a member of seeing like a botched plastic surgery, uh, documentary like in the aughts that like hbo did that was like terrifying god that's right up your alley yeah yeah yeah like me in college no no empathy at all so i would watch it being like.

Oh my god look at this fucking guy's neck bro oh fuck fuck fuck fuck and not really learn the lesson about our self perception and i have.

To assume that the guy's neck was put on at a right angle like that uh Like that AI thing.

Of the soldier's funeral where his body was... Completely wrong part. No, there was another one where a woman was trying to tighten sort of looser neck skin and it manifested in this ringing in her ears that she could not get rid of. And she's like, that's all I hear now. Really? She was losing it. Really?

That's good for me to know because I do, if I were to have something, there's a part of me that's like, I'd like to have my neck tightened.

Yeah, well, hey, watch that documentary and you can weigh the pros and cons first from the woman who only hears.

That one actually, I wouldn't make it. I don't think I would get anything because I'd be too freaked out.

Somewhere over the course of doing a bunch of research for this show in the past month, I read of somebody who took their own life because of tinnitus. And tinnitus feels like, it's like one of those things people don't understand and people just have it. You know, like it just happens.

Yeah. Yeah.

Just a ringing in your ear that nobody can explain.

Sound of fury. Yeah. What is something, on that fun note, what is something you think is underrated?

Raccoons.

Oh, what happened?

Nothing.

I just have really gotten into raccoon content recently.

Is it real or is it AI, Mel?

It's real.

I follow this raccoon around the neighborhood at night. I've been following.

And then like, you know, my algorithm is now just like raccoons and possums, just like a lot of raccoon and possum content with like raccoons and dogs and rehabilitating and people's gardens and just like a lot of raccoon content.

Yeah. I feel like I see a lot of posts on Reddit where people see raccoons with mange and they think it's another animal. Where they're like, holy shit, this demon is blah, blah, blah. You're like, no, no, no. That's unfortunate.

Mange is like they don't have hair, right?

Yeah. Raccoons are wild looking without hair. Without hair, you would be like, what the fuck?

Yeah.

It'd be like so scary.

It'd be like.

It's a poor little thing with mange.

Yeah. Yeah.

I just think they're so cute. I had a friend who had a pet raccoon growing up. So... But that was in Alabama.

Go on.

I was going to say, what part of the South was that?

Yeah. What was the raccoon's name? Actually, I don't really remember. And it lived in the house, kind of chilled in the house?

No, it just lived out in the backyard.

But that was like when dogs didn't live inside either.

Sure, sure, sure.

Like animals didn't live inside in the South when.

I grew up. Did it get cold?

Did it get old?

What happened gets cold no sorry cold cold cold the raccoon get cold no like do it like if you let your dogs outside you know that's always like my soft california outlook i'm like yeah dogs outside and it's.

Cold of course they get cold yeah yeah and then they really got.

A dog house yeah yeah it's true that's true i mean it's not ideal sure sure sure sure Now that I have so much empathy. I'm not the same guy who was watching the botched surgery documentaries in the aughts. Now I have a big heart and I'm worried about the dogs outside.

I mean, I would too.

Miles, your mom was a raccoon person, wasn't she?

Opossum. She's a card-carrying member of the American Opossum supporters club. She's all about outdoor animals like she has a crew of possums raccoons that come to her backyard that she feeds yeah and they live in harmony together because i love.

That it's a dream mel you too could have a uh a gang of raccoons in your backyard and all you have to do is uh leave a pile of food for them.

Yeah big old bowl of cat food and they come through And they eat it with the cats, man. They hang out with the fucking cats.

Did your mom video it and put that online? That's great content.

Nah, she says she's not about to exploit. Exploitation is the last thing on her mind. Word for word is what she said when I told her. I said, this could be some extra money for you, mom. She said, no. I'm not exploiting them like you would. And you feel, how do you feel about the fact that raccoons have little person hands?

You're good with that?

Love that. Love that.

They're like eating.

Because that can go either way. You know, some people are freaked out by that.

Yeah, I like it.

I hate those damn thumbs.

They could, like, throw a three-seam fastball, you know?

Right, right, right, yeah. But it doesn't freak me out that much. Perfect tight spiral on a football, yeah. Could you imagine? That would be the most terrifying. Just a fucking raccoon patting the ball tight spiral. You're like, oh, fuck. That's AI.

See the fucking break on that thing?

Nick Saban. What's something you think is overrated?

Front-facing crying videos on social media. But like, and like, this.

Seems targeted at me, but go ahead.

That are like, and they always start off with like, like a picture.

And then it's like, I was like happily married and then sobbing or like this thing and then sobbing and being, and then they're like, and they're crying and telling you it.

And it's so odd to me.

Yeah, sure.

You should be talking to a friend.

Right. Yeah. It is funny how much people outsource those activities that were just like a thing you called your friend up to talk about or not talk about in silence. But yeah, I think it's also too like people know the algorithms. If someone's crying, people are going to stay on the video too to be like, what's this person crying about?

Yeah, it's like driving by a car crash.

Yeah.

It's like, wait a second.

What was that?

Oh, I go quicker because I can't.

Don't put your shit on me. I couldn't imagine that shit.

Fuck.

Because I see people, too, who like do that, do that kind of like dry begging, e-begging on like on social media. Like where they tell a sob story and they're like, I need money right now or blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But then like you look at their other content and like it's just like normal people stuff. And it's completely energetically different from like they're crying and reading they do. Yeah.

I mean, it's not like a ton of people. I'm sure if you look, there are examples where the videos that do well for them are the ones where they look the most distraught. And they're saying, can you please send me money? I'm about to be blah, blah, blah. I need this right now or I could die sort of a thing. Because that's a huge... trend i feel like now.

Too i feel like on threads they do that with like sat because you can't see they're like texting like these long stories and they have to go into the second it goes like one, two, like it has to go into the thing and I'll read it being like, Oh my God.

And by the end I'm like, Oh, this isn't real.

This is a short story that they are trying to get off. There's no cinematic universe that they're trying to pitch that story about that. Like that one girl who was like a dancer who went down to Florida and like got involved in that big crime thing that then became a movie. I feel like that, really fucked up the world of like creative writing where everyone was like, I'm going to tell a story that sounds like a harrowing true story that happened to me.

Right.

Yeah.

I will say this something, a scam that I've fallen for is that apparently you can delete posts. You were saying that like you go back and look and like, there's not a bunch of crying posts. The, like the people who do like a prediction on like a certain date, And then like that thing happens and everyone's like, wait a second, this person predicted.

Oh, right, right. Yeah. This person predicted this three years ago. They're magical.

And it's like, oh, apparently they just like had 20 different predictions and then went back and quickly deleted all the, all the ones that weren't right. The second, like, you know, the, you know, the person died on that date. And so I just saying that could be what's happening with person, uh, crying video and like they don't have other crying videos is you know or maybe they really mean like that they were crying at the right time and i'm so stupid though that i was like oh you can delete posts god damn it i.

Thought they're on the record your honor yeah shit i mean i how long did it take you to read a story mel where you're like ah this is fake i got four posts d Of course this raccoon didn't.

When it got to the end and it was like, if you like this story, you can look at me.

If you like this fiction piece. And I was like, oh.

Do you like my content that I've created?

Yeah.

And I was like, oh.

I thought this raccoon got recruited by Coach Bear Bryant to play for the Tide. But it wasn't true. Damn. Yeah, it took a while.

The only time that I've been publicly tricked by AI was a raccoon video.

Really?

Miles was out. So you can't trust Grandpa when Miles isn't here to show him what's what. When the nurse isn't here. Yeah.

Over the weekend, I started getting all these videos of raccoons jumping on a trampoline. And I was like, raccoons have just discovered trampolines, you guys.

Yes.

And it was AI. Uh, yeah, there were bears in there too.

Yeah.

I was like, dude, animals just like found out about this. And like, now they're going crazy on like backyard equipment. They must've like, they must've discussed it at like their animal UN committee.

Yeah. So dumb. Like really what the fuck did I think was happening anyways? Hey, I choose to believe in that world. You should, which is, which is just the world from Bambi. Hey, man, if being a dreamer is a crime, man, lock you up. Lock you up. All right.

Let's take a quick break. We'll come back and talk about the real odyssey.

We'll be right back. And we're back. We're back.

And no, not the Honda Odyssey.

And not the... What's that guy's name? Christopher whatever. Nolan? Yeah. Mullins. Christopher Mullins. No, not from the Golden State Warriors. He used to play for Golden State.

No.

With the crew cut. No, not him. No, not him.

Christopher Nolan, I guess, made an Odyssey that everybody saw, made a big deal about.

And... All worth it. I went and saw it. It was.

All worth it because it got the idea in the brain of my favorite creator.

Elon Musk. Yeah, sure. I mean, he was my favorite visionary.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah.

The man with the legendary follow through Elon Musk. I mean, so in July, right, when the Odyssey came out, he had his very predictable, like Nazi shit fit that he threw on Twitter with like other right wingers about the film and how inaccurate it was because Lupita Nyong'o was cast as. Helen of Troy, who is not a real fucking person is a mythological figure. Okay. So, so sure. Yeah.

Oh my God. I can't believe they, they cast a black woman as a person who doesn't even fucking exist. Who's Helen of Troy. didn't exist? I mean, do you tell me, Jack, who was her dad? Zeus?

We know he was a historical.

Figure, right?

He was like president? He was the first president before George Washington?

First president of Greece. Zeus, obviously. And then if, and even, okay, so maybe you're like, well, Zeus was a real guy. Okay, well, then how was she born? She had a very medically accurate birth via egg hatching. So, okay.

Yeah.

Now, I'm just saying. Oh, here we go.

We all come from eggs.

We're all hatched in a way from eggs. True, true. This one was very much.

Maybe it was just different in Greece, you know?

No, this was definitely like Jurassic Park shit. Oh, look, these are the hatchlings.

And it's like, what timing?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Coming right out. So again, he used all that manufactured outrage to pump up his AI company and was like, well, actually with the things we're doing, like I'll be able to make a historically accurate Odyssey and you'll see. it will be coming out this fall. And everyone's like, yeah, you all doubted him. Right. And I was like, yeah, sure. Dickhead. Just like all the other shit you talk about. Yeah, fuck off.

Well, turn into someone, some a cabbie from Brooklyn in the 70s. Get the fuck out of here, bro. Just like everything else, like the friggin Hyperloop, right?

Yeah. All right. Wake me up from the grave. Look, I have to admit, I am quasi humbled because he did just release the first installment over the weekend. So he has made good on his threat to. destroy the environment with this generative AI bullshit. It's so weird because I was watching the box office. I'm a bit of a box office watcher. I don't know if you know that.

I know that.

And I didn't see this make much of a splash. Did they just release it in very limited release? Yeah, it's coming out in little blips. They're coming out in episodes of seven. Right now, the first one's out in seven minutes. You know how movies are released.

Wait, what? In seven-minute chunks. Just like a real movie.

Wait, I thought this was AI. Couldn't they just, like, make a whole movie?

What's going on? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

We could.

We could. But we're just doing it in episodes. I have no idea what exactly they're saying, you know, like, what the rollout. But, again, this is how it's posted. Watch episode one of our Odyssey series made with Grok Imagine. Let us know in the comments if you'd like a full breakdown on how it's done. Yeah, some idiot typed into a box, make Odyssey movie real good. Because that's what this shit looks like. I mean, we all watched the first seven, this seven-minute episode. I was back and forth.

One of my kids is homesick. The other one is now on his way, coming homesick. It's going around, dude. Everyone's fucking sick. Yeah, it is really going around.

Everyone's sick.

I caught brief moments. So you guys are going to have to tell me. Like, it did not. I didn't.

I watched from the very beginning. I watched the first 30 seconds, and I was lost immediately.

Yeah. You can't even tell who's who because they're not real people. No, you can't. Everyone kind of looks the same. No, they all look the same. Yeah. They need name tags.

They need to start wearing name tags, which I'm told is what they did back in the Odyssey.

And it sounds like everyone had Invisalign in ancient Greece, too. I didn't see a single crooked smile, not a single misplaced tooth, which was beautiful to see.

Yeah, they had like, I didn't understand anything that was going on. Like, I didn't know who was anybody. And it was like, there was a lot of like laughing after they said things, which I thought that was quite a lot of comedy in this Odyssey.

No one is not really known for. Odysseus, you can't.

So I was kind of like, huh, interesting take. The babies and the children looked weird.

I know. It is a good.

Everybody should watch it to get an idea of what these freaks want the world to look like.

Yeah. I mean....

It's all a car commercial. It's like, what if the Odyssey was made in a car commercial?

Yeah, exactly. Not just because the Honda Odyssey... That is what it looks like.

It's all just.

Vague.

Close-ups of, like, hooves and feet and hands.

Yes, yes, exactly.

And you're kind of like, why do I care about the hooves of this cow?

Because it's like, because AI did it. Isn't that cool that it can make it look like a cow hoof went into mud? That's cool. I'll play one part, which I think really underscores how bad the pacing and acting is. This is when Odysseus is about to leave for war and his wife dies. I don't even know what they're... Anyway, here's them talking about, don't go to war, Odysseus. Our son needs a father.

My love, you must go.

What? Okay. So he's going to stay for it to be his dad. Okay. And what of you? And what of you? You go. What?

Yeah, no, I got that. I knew that's what you were saying when you said, you must go. What did you think I thought? And what did you think that I thought? What did you think I was saying when I said, and what of you?

Oh, this is the weird reaction time.

This is another one. So now she's sending Odysseus off with the other soldiers. They're going, they're headed off to Troy. And just, again, powerhouse acting from a bunch of garbled up digital bullshit people. We set sail. Unless you've another field to plow. He said to no one. God is ass. Before this is done. Careful, old friend. The gods may hear you. Just see that you bring our king home to us. You have our word, my lady.

Who is looking at who?

I don't know.

Like, why is he smiling?

It's my queen to you, boy. The tide waits for no man. Neither does Troy.

He's also smiling again.

Everybody seems completely deranged, like by turns, like deranged or like they're just like bad, bad actors in a like cologne commercial, you know, just like trying to look like they smelled something interesting.

This feels perfect for a comedian to do a send up of this where they punch themselves into these scenes and be the straight man who's an actual human. Why are you smiling? What the fuck? What are you doing?

Why are you mad at him?

All right. We get on the boat. Hey, why are you smiling, bro? He's dying. If you were at a party and you walked in and people were talking like this, you would be like, I'm freaking out right now. Well, yeah, you would immediately be like, everyone is robots. Yeah. Replaced by robots. I'm on like acid and I didn't, I don't realize it or something, or you guys are fucking robots.

Cause that's what happened last time. I accused a bunch of people being robots. I was on a too much.

Actually secretly by accidentally on acid yet again, had him in my pocket, man was running through the quad. It is like to your point about pacing and things like eyeline match where like you have no idea who's talking to who and pacing is a big one. where it's a thing that I don't notice when I'm watching a good movie.

And that's like, by, you know, that that's what a good movie is.

It's like, I don't notice that I'm being told a story that is like, you know, moving me along through time. But like, this is just, if you watch a student film that is, you know, not great, you're going to immediately be like, oh, there's something weird about how this is like cutting together and how it's moving through time.

And like, it's just, Yeah, this is student film caliber bullshit.

Yeah. I don't even know if.

It's up with student film because I think the thing that we forget or we take, it's like we take for granted breathing. Like just the natural rhythm of breathing and watching that. I'm like, oh, they don't have the natural rhythm of just talking. Like it doesn't matter how you cut it.

They're not talking. There is no conversation.

And you say there's no conversation. What of me? And that is a great point, Melissa. I agree with you. Now, shall we speak about another topic? Yeah.

No, actually, they kind of nailed us. It sucks really bad.

I mean, I think it also, one thing I'll say is I don't fear for the entertainment industry in terms of what ai presents as a threat i fear for the entertainment industry based on the greed of the people that run the studios but not because they're gonna they're gonna shit out a better product this is if anything i'm like i need to go watch a hallmark film and shed a tear because the acting is so much better than that.

Yeah it's a yeah far far sub hallmark quality yeah yeah so that's bad uh elon musk in addition to uh you know do be revealing himself to be a terrible filmmaker is also in a position where he is, um, that, you know, the polls are suggesting the Democrats are going to do pretty well in the upcoming midterms, which could be bad news for him.

He's threatening them already. Yeah.

He's so, uh, Robert Reich, who's not, you know, going to be in a position of power, but as you know, a very smart person who has held positions of power in the democratic party was like, well, We should just take Starlink and SpaceX because he is like just nationalize it. He's using it in like really fucked up ways that threaten national security. Like these are all things that I think if you just told the story of our present moment to anybody 20 years ago, they would all be like, oh, yeah, like arrest that guy national. Like, what are you what are you talking about? But it's just it seems so far fetched to us because we've been in this weird gilded age for so long. But yeah, he just suggested

some very straightforward things that I think everybody, including Democratic politicians, should be suggesting. And Elon Musk responded by being like, arrest Robert Reich. He's, you know, stealing is illegal. Stealing someone's company is illegal. Arrest Robert Reich.

Like he stole Tesla? Yeah, I know, right? I do think he's in a position... that might be worse than people are realizing. Well, I mean, you think of all the shit that he was doing with Doge and how it was, it didn't do anything except completely destabilize the, the, the, not only the world, but even just our own infrastructure, for federal programs that had been running for decades. I think he knows they're going to investigate that. He's clearly all this self-dealing that's going on. And I think because he's not in the administration, it makes it a little bit easier to be like, what about this guy versus going after people in the current administration? So yeah, he's definitely...

Trying to basically say, like, don't fucking come. He said, live by the sword, die by the sword in response to like a Politico article about, you know, potential investigations into him. And he said, those who pick fights with me should understand that I will find out who is really pulling the strings and come for them, not just their puppets. Yeah.

Weren't they investigating him before Trump was elected and then they dropped it all?

Yeah, there was, like, labor stuff that was going on with him. There was all kinds of investigations into his companies that were basically went... You know? Because he helped Trump out.

Yeah.

And they've been in power for the past two years. Like, they've had the whole, like, every branch of the U.S. government in... Like, and he, and he's acting like he's going to like change, like do something different and like, uh, destroy his enemies. And it's just like, I don't know, man. Like, like he's saying like live by the sword, die by the sword as if he's going to like investigate these people and ruin their careers. But like, wouldn't he have already done that? Like he, He's not going to be in a better position than he has been for the past two years.

Yeah, I mean, his biggest weapon has just been funding freaks that'll lie about other people. That's kind of the one move he has is just like funding all of this shit. And so I guess in his mind, he still thinks that that's an effective strategy. But I think like most people, they're beginning to see more and more.

It's like this guy's just a fucking dickhead with a ton of money and he's not as fucking smart. Oh, I get it. You're a dickhead.

No.

And it's like very much like he's like it's like he's saying he's got I got that thing on me. No, you don't. You don't. You don't. You have a Snickers bar in your trench coat pocket. And that's what you're trying to say. I got a gun, man. And again, not to say that the money he can spend can do a ton of damage and the companies that he's in charge of can do a ton of damage. but I, Oh yeah. He's very powerful. I'm just saying. Yeah. I'd like to see you try Musk. Yeah. I guess, I mean like, what's he going to be? He's, he's, he'll do this. Like when he, the whole puppet master shit, he's talking about what he's going to fucking top point the finger at George Soros or some shit. Like, right. Okay.

What?

Yeah.

I mean that probably, I think he like does honestly believe a lot of that shit at this point, but like, Like, nobody has ever had more power than he had at the beginning of this administration. And he has like, what did he I mean, he did a lot of things that were transparently bad for the country and other people which is where this backlash is coming from so i'm just like i hit him being like oh yeah well we'll see when the shoes on the other foot it's like no the shoe you're the only one wearing shoes like we're all living in your world this is the like this is why everyone's mad at you yeah so i don't know he's he's still extremely powerful and you know who who knows what he's going to do to

try and uh change the outcome of the election but i do just i do think people what like the popular sentiment is like yeah fuck that guy at this yeah yeah yeah yeah the the amount of people who are gonna come out to support him they're i don't know like maybe 40 cyber trucks will pull up in solidarity somewhere but yeah yeah after that um just pour some water on them when they're not in car wash mode and then they'll break All right.

Let's take a quick break.

We'll come back and we will talk about the dictionary.com word of the year. Their word of the year maxing at dictionary.com.

We'll be right back. And we're back. Hi, we're back. What a journey we just took during that break.

Usually we're like, And we'll be right back. And we're back. This one did a little talking. I learned about ringworm. On this break, we do things a little different. Let's talk about dictionary.com. This is an end-of-the-year tradition on this podcast to look at what is being selected as the word of.

The year by the.

Authorities at the dictionary's website. The dictionary has its own website, dictionary.com. And they just announced their word of the year, and it's maxing. Oh, just maxing as a thing.

Just maxing. Oh, so anything maxing.

It's weird because maxing is not a standalone word. It's always added to the end of other things. Whereas their second place one was data center, which is two words. So it's just like, you guys have a job that we go to you for, and it is for... You know, definitions of words and then word of the year.

But I don't care. I'm not going to get precious here. I feel like data center is dumb to put there because if someone said data center, you'd go, okay, I think I have an idea of what that is. Sure. Data is being processed. The data center. Whereas like if you just said unk. I already see so many white people who don't know because, unfortunately, another term that's used in AAV has broken containment to white people. And they're like, what is that, University of North Carolina? And we're like, what?

I do. I did have that. Yeah. I am guilty as charged.

Really?

You did?

No.

UNC?

I've spent my whole life seeing those three letters and thinking... North Carolina, you know? Yeah.

I immediately went uncle.

Yeah.

Look, I mean, I love abbreviating. I just abbreviated seasons. So I was out and I was like, seize. And my friend was like, you can't do that.

No, I've seen like, so, and I've like, I've seen a lot of videos where like, they're like white people trying to explain, like break it down. And I'm like, this is, y'all, this is stupid. Yeah. Where like some people get it so wrong and others are like, okay, so it actually means uncles. So, like, if you're, like, a guy and now you've, like, reached sort of, like, your middle-aged era, then people say, like, you're in your unk era because, like, you're an uncle now. So that's, like, unk. Wow.

I've also seen people be like, it actually comes from uncool.

Yeah, yeah. Exactly.

So they, like, must have heard somebody say it out loud and just, like, been misunderstanding them.

I think that's being online and not knowing black people. And you're having to deduce what you think it is because people are talking about washed middle-aged dudes. And I'm like, yes, I took a shower this morning. Thank you. Cool.

I was going to say of the options, Unk was the best because the, so the other ones, second place was data center.

Next was affordability.

I guess like that, that feels like the nineties that would have been the word in the nineties, you know, that's also a word in the news.

Yeah.

I guess the meaning doesn't change. Has the meaning of affordability changed? I'm going to tell you, they took five cracks at this, and I don't think they succeeded on a single one. This is fucking terrifying. Data Center is two words.

Maxing is a thing that you add on to the end of another word.

Suffix.

Fuck.

My English teacher was getting so mad. She's a big fan. affordability, which is pretty boring. Odyssey, which is like, what are you talking about? That's like the oldest story ever told. I mean, I guess it makes sense because, I mean, word of the year is probably just sort of like because it's used so often.

It doesn't need to be a new word. That's why affordability kind of makes sense to me because it's like, yeah, this is a word that if you said If you said three years ago that everybody would be using it, you'd be like, oh, that tells me where things are going.

Yeah, sure. Last year, it was slop. Makes sense. Jerry Mander. This was Merriam-Webster's. Performative, which we already have a word for that. But again, they're talking about in the context of social media.

Your friend who had a raccoon, a pet raccoon, had a different term of slop.

Mm-hmm.

That, you know, that's just what you fed the piggies.

That's called good etting right there. Those are called middles. That's good. Good etting.

Yeah.

So Unk is on the list.

And I was going to say Unk would be.

A fine pick. And then I went and read dictionary.com's definition.

And?

And it says, it just, it feels like it is a write-up that was clearly written by by someone who was called Unk and was like doing the research to try and find the explanation.

Yeah.

What did the kids on the subway call me? Unk? Unk? Short for uncle. Uh-huh.

Yeah.

Yeah, that's, you got that. When paired with chopped as chopped and unk, translating to attractive and old. Chopped and unk. Unattractive and old.

All right, but this is where it gets good. If someone is described as reaching unk status, that means they're officially deemed quote-unquote old. But, depending on the tone, it can be more affectionate than derogatory. It can also be a sign of respect to indicate a person is mature and wise.

Mm-hmm. Okay. Okay. That's definitely... I mean, it's true. That's... Because that's... You would be like, all right, um, as a sign of respect in Black culture, it can be a reverential term. But, uh... It's like someone letting themselves down easy. I feel like actually it means they think I'm smart. Yeah. Actually, what they say when someone says it to you, it actually means that they are. It turns out it's like, no, you're you're about you. I don't know. I'm just I'm hearing a lot of stuff.

I think Chopped should also be there because that's something I've heard so much more.

Chopped is fun.

But that's also one of those ones that I can't like, I'm at that age now where some words are like, I love a bit of slang too, but some of them I'm like chopped is, I wish I could say it.

I don't want to say it, but I say it.

Say what?

Clutch.

Clutch. Like something is clutch. That's still good. Clutch is still good. Yeah. Clutch ain't chopped dunk. Clutch is good. And your plate is an adult's yogurt.

Yeah.

Don't do this to me now. Shit is clutch. That was, she was, I said that shit this weekend. I was like, oh, that shit was clutch.

Yeah.

I love it.

It's a good one. Wait, there is discussion that that could be. No, that's me.

I'm ahead of the, I think I'm ahead of the football. Like I know, like it's coming.

Yeah. Oh, sure. Sure.

Sure.

Yeah.

Coming for all our words.

Yeah, exactly.

Yeah.

Um, should we talk about Ebenezer Scrooge? Do you guys have plans yet? Have you figured out what you're going to do for the new Ebenezer film?

Oh, of course. I will not see it. It's only in theaters November 13th, which seems a little early for me. Sorry, I said that wrong.

I put the emphasis in the wrong place. I was like, wow.

It's only out? What a weird choice by that. Scarcity model. Scarcity model. Yeah, these release windows are really getting short. No, only in theaters, November 13th.

Okay, I haven't seen any of the billboards for this.

Okay, so I'm going to show you a picture. So the first way they announced this is they had Johnny Depp at Comic-Con. And he was in his Ebenezer garb, you know.

Okay.

Full makeup. And he looked old as hell. And then now the posters are coming out, which is what you would expect. Those are coming out. I'm just going to put it in the chat.

It feels like they aged him down. Like he's gotten younger playing Ebenezer.

Let's see.

Like, doesn't he seem too young to be an Ebenezer there?

Yeah. You don't think so? You think he's about, I guess.

We're used to like the sideburns because of the shadow.

Sure.

All I know is I think we need less of these movies.

Yes. Okay. Yep.

We need to just go. We can't do anymore.

Oh, but what if Ebenezer was the good guy? What if Ebenezer actually had some good points about, you know, not people not accepting handouts.

Okay.

Not expecting handouts from their government. They're really like on point people.

Yes, this is a Christmas girl. Yeah, yeah. At the time that affordability is one of the candidates for word of the year, they have decided to be like, what if Ebenezer was like kind of bae? Definitely. Yeah, was cancel bae? Hmm. Yeah, yeah.

So I mean, it's not like he's not like in the in the posters. He's not like 20s ham, like hot Hamburglar aged down. But it just made me think that they definitely got the note at some point from Johnny Depp's team like that.

Does he have to be so.

Old and decrepit?

Like what if he was, I don't know, in his fifties?

What if he was just like, yeah.

What if you wanted to fuck Ebenezer Scrooge?

Yeah.

Yeah. I mean like, you're like, does he have to look so old? And like, we didn't put any makeup on him. Exactly. His face.

Since his like trials and stuff, he's like legitimately kind of just become Ebenezer and pirates of the Caribbean. Cause like whenever I see him, not just out in like paparazzi stuff, He looks bad.

Yeah, he looks bad.

And I used to really want to fuck him a lot.

Yeah. Didn't we all? We've all been there.

Now he looks bad.

Captain Jack Sparrow?

Come on. I was more.

Of a crybaby gal.

Oh, yeah, yeah. I was more of a what's-eating-Gilbert grape gal myself.

I mean, I'll take it.

I mean, like, right here. He's just... His teeth are real bad. He's chopped up. You know? He is Chopped Unk. Yeah, he's Chopped Unk. He's Chopped Unk. This is what I think.

I think him knowing.

So him knowing he's Chopped Unk, his inner Chopped Unk is telling him Scrooge can't look like shit. Sure, sure, sure. Yeah.

So that's my loose theory just based on... Like, I got a vibe off the live-action Moana posters that I was like, this is headed in a weird direction.

And watch that over the weekend.

What vibe did you get?

Just the.

I don't know.

It seemed... It's so weird.

Like The Rock was doing too much.

Also, I had this note the whole time I was watching this weekend with the Geist Child. He likes the animated version.

You watched live-action Moana?

He saw the thing. He saw a picture. He goes, that's not Moana. And I go, I said, son, that's Moana. But it's an abomination. And he's like, I want to see it. And then like halfway through, he's like, I don't like this. Because it's like shot for shot, you know, a remake of the animated Moana version. So, it's just odd for him to see, like.

But it looks like it takes place on a trapper keeper. Like, some of the art looks like absolute shit.

But, like, The Rock... See, that's a.

Movie I would watch.

That's the one I would watch. The Rock is not... The Rock's not killing it as Maui as much as his voice acting was in Moana. So, it's like... No, he's looking very robotic. Like, I saw the You're Welcome, like, recreation. And, like, I was like, man.

that looks like he, you can hear him counting in his head, like the dance.

Oh no. No, it's okay. Yeah. When he's doing, you're welcome. I watched the whole thing. I was like, that was around the point where my kid was like, we don't got to do this anymore.

That's the, that's the highlight of the first, like, that's one of the great songs in the history of Disney movies. And like, it's the point at which people are like, and for that reason, I'm out on this Moana remake.

I've never seen Moana.

Oh, nothing.

Do you care for Disney musicals?

You know, musical isn't my.

I.

Wouldn't say that's my.

You're fine. But I will.

Mine neither.

If I were.

I mean, listen, I loved Aladdin.

Sure, sure. I think Moana's worth watching. I think it's one of the good ones.

It's a good one? Okay, listen, I'll give it a go.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. If you're going to watch it, I don't think it's always like a... Stop what you're doing. You know what, Mel? Let's just end the episode right now. Yeah, yeah. Put it on right now.

This recording is over. And all of this, everything I'm saying, I'm talking, of course, about the live actor, Moana.

Yes.

Because why would you watch, now that there's a version of real people doing it, why would you ever watch the cartoon one?

That's just stupid.

Yeah. Anyways, the reason that Ebenezer is on, like, they're doing a, like, marketing thing where they're partnering with a banking app.

Wow.

And you ask Ebenezer for him to, you explain how much money you need. And you're like, and like, so I need a hundred dollars because like, this is like, my.

Kid is like, my kid's in a lot of trouble, man. And he, and this is fun because he is a Ebenezer Scrooge. He always sends you one penny.

Oh, wow.

I have $ 30, 000 in medical debt. Could you help me? Here's a penny.

Right.

It's Ebenezer Scrooge on Venmo.

The executives who thought of this, like, jumped up and down.

Yeah.

Like, they were like, fuck, yeah.

Because they're also thinking of, like, they're like, imagine, man.

We're paying.

Chess balls where they only hit, their chest can't reach each other, they just hit their bellies together.

We're just, and also, man, think about this. We're paying a penny a person, basically. Like, that kind of average, a hundred people for a buck?

Think about that.

Like, think about that as a CPM.

It pays for itself, okay? Like, people are going to talk about it.

Like, it's, It is such a good way of... underlining the thing I was saying earlier about like why this is poorly done. It's just like, it's a, it's a, you know, screen grab generation machine for people being like, I'm fucked.

I need money. I'm like, we live in a world with like literal debtors prisons. And then having this character be like, you get one penny, sir. Fuck off. Why am I still working even? Isn't it a good example about how there's no justice at all on Earth? The fact that even I'm in a role right now?

Yeah. Anyways, it is.

Like I do.

I'm getting both from like him being like slightly younger than he looked at first in the Comic-Con thing. And also the fact that like the early reports that like people are like, what? if Ebenezer Scrooge was the good guy? I'm just getting the movie star having too much control thing where they're like fused with the character. And they're like, I don't know. What if John McClane was a superhero in this movie instead of like the very point of the diehard movies, which is that he's not, you know.

They'll try it all. They'll try anything. They'll try anything. I mean, I don't think I'm, I'm really curious how I, I'm always like wondering if anyone still gives a shit about Johnny Depp. And it always just makes just enough money that they're like, they can't fucking quit this guy. But this one also like just, With the era we're in, I'm like, this ain't the movie we fucking need.

No, but it's also kind of crazy to me because like they're always saying like the studio, everyone's like Christmas movies because they don't like sell everywhere and all the markets and blah, blah. We don't want them. And then they do this every fucking year.

Right.

Like, well, you're doing something. We don't need this.

Yeah. I mean, he killed the Harry Potter franchise, kind of. Like, they brought him in to the Harry Potter franchise. Yeah, I mean, well, I think, let's give J.K. Rowling her due as well. I don't want to give all.

The credit to a man there, but yeah. Mel, such a pleasure having you on the show.

Where can people find you, follow you, see you, all that good stuff?

Mel M.

Stevens on all the socials, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, threads.

What else is there?

TikTok.

Oh, yeah, your face was stuck, but you're unstuck now.

Okay, thank you.

Yep, I was like, by acknowledging it, you unstuck your face.

Thank God, Mel, you freed me from this digital prison. Amazing.

Is there a work of media that you've been enjoying?

I always get this wrong every time I do this. And I like do something earnestly. and I don't know if this is it, but there is something I enjoyed this morning because threads is really taking over my life. I don't know if it's anybody else. Wait, is the media, this is the thing. Yeah.

This is the thing where you just recommend. Yeah.

I just recommend the thing.

And I always do it earnestly and I'm not going to do that.

Okay. Um, I know. Okay.

This woman, uh, threaded this morning.

She goes, I know it's early. Sorry in advance, but when y'all be telling us to sit on y'all's face, do y'all mean sit, sit or like hover?

Hovering. Sorry. Yeah. That's a great question.

It's a great question.

And I was like, I mean, sit, sit personally. So that's a little something about me. I see.

I always hover.

Uh-huh. Yeah, that makes sense.

You know, and it was like.

A great question.

I thought, yes, God threads coming through. Oh, so the person on threads who I was referencing, I, her handle is H K G S a I Y.

G S a I Y.

Got it.

Yeah. Miles, where can people find you? Is there a work of media you've been enjoying? Yeah, find me everywhere at milesofgray. I'm talking about 90 Day Fiance on 420 Day Fiance.

I'm talking about the Premier League and Champions League on Ain't It Footy with Jamel Johnson and Chris Martin. A work of media I like. It's a song, but I also have a song we write out. But I just want to point this song out because I recently saw a great artist, Chocolate Genius, Mark Anthony Thompson, perform And he has a song called My Mom that like brought me to tears that I was not expecting. So his mother had Alzheimer's and my grandmother also had that. And dealing with like memory loss is like one of those things.

It's very surreal. And at the time, I thought I had like really, truly grieved sort of every bit of that experience. But this song, I don't know, sometimes people write songs where the lyrics can be like, Just a little abstract, but just so on the fucking nose that they completely encapsulate. Even like it's someone else's very different experience that I just know exactly what they're talking about.

So I didn't want to ride out on that in case people wanted to hear something that wasn't a bummer. But if you are and you potentially are open to being moved by someone else's lyrics about that topic of dealing with a family member going through memory loss, check out that song called My Mom by Chocolate Genius Incorporated.

Because it's fucking beautiful. And the next day I listened to it again, I just was fucking crying again because I couldn't. It's such an experience that I think is so widespread. And I mean, we're fucking watching versions of that happening right now with the president too. But this song, again, was a piece of art that completely encapsulated something I didn't know that I was feeling exactly. And it did it.

So credit to Chocolate Genius Incorporated. Um, yeah, so that's my work of media. Okay. Yeah. Amazing.

Uh, you can find me on Twitter, Jack underscore O'Brien, blue sky, Jack OB, the number one Instagram Jack underscore O underscore Brian.

I liked this tweet. So I'll just read the tweet and then I'll explain. That's fun. Right. Explain. Yeah.

Uh, Courtney Hella tweeted. I texted my children that we got the puppy they've been begging me for and spent and sent them a link with pictures. When they clicked on the link, it took them to a webpage that said, you're grounded. They'll be spending the weekend retaking our family's cybersecurity training course, which is a reference to the New York Knicks did a thing where in the month lead up to their championship rings being delivered, James Dolan had them send out an email being like, hey, we view you guys as part of the team. And as part of the family. So we're getting you all championship rings.

Click on this so that you can like give us your sizes. And people clicked on it and were taken to a thing about cybersecurity. And like it was a phishing.

It was for people who were fucked up. It's so fucked up. That's such a stupid thing to like weaponize. It's like, hey, you know, all those untold contributions that are seemingly invisible to the people that just won. We want to honor you. Oh, my God. No, you fucking idiot. No, you idiot. Do you know who I am? I'm a monster.

So you don't know anything about cybersecurity, do you? You're fucking fired.

I also like to tweet from Nate at TheNateWolf, who said, All the worms at the park start slithering towards me at the same time. I shake my head.

They stop.

I'm on a first date, and she's not ready to know about that part of my life yet.

That's great.

Stupid.
