Shownotes

We unpack how shame starts when being seen feels dangerous, using Adam and Eve as a mirror for modern life. We name the “fig leaves” we hide behind and how real healing happens when we stop performing and come back to who we actually are.
• Adam and Eve being naked without shame as a model for safety
• awareness turning into judgment then shame then hiding
• “fig leaves” as success money titles followers perfectionism and people pleasing
• asking what our goals are really trying to prove
• how the covering eventually becomes the wound
• coping mechanisms that help in childhood and trap us as adults
• image management and wearing acceptable versions of ourselves
• separating healthy ambition from the need for validation
• journaling and self-inquiry to rebuild self-worth
• modeling vulnerability for kids and leading by being real

Once you see what you actually are, that you're an infinite, limitless being, you'll see that nothing exists outside of you. I'm your host, Derek Grant, and this is the Pathway to Your Results Podcast.

Bro.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Pathway to Your Results Podcast. It is your boy DG. I hope we're all doing well today. I hope uh life is doing what life does, right? Giving you all the information and showing you and you're extracting it and you're learning and growing. And uh today's episode, uh we're gonna we're gonna go, as my mother would say, Mom, I know you listen to this right now.

We're gonna go back, we're gonna go back to the good book, okay? I need this with a pastor, I need everybody to open up their books to Genesis 2.20. No, I'm just kidding. Um there was a story, I think probably the most, I mean, probably maybe second to Jesus, maybe I think Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve is probably the most recognized story in the Bible, right?

Um, but there's a part of it um that popped into my awareness that was really, really interesting. Um that pertains to you. And you all stay with me because we don't know where this is going to go, but we know it'll go somewhere, okay? Uh so we know the story of Adam and Eve, okay? Adam and Eve came from Adam, right?

Uh but there's something, there's a part of the Bible, there's a part of the story that was really interesting in Genesis uh 2, 25, right? Chapter 2, verse 25. And it said Adam and his wife were both naked and felt no shame. They were already naked, y'all. Okay. Think about what that means. They were already uh how we would call vulnerable.

They were open. They weren't, there were, there was, there was nothing to hide. You see. They were already naked. And then, of course, we know, right? They ate the forbidden fruit, the one tree that you weren't allowed to eat. Right, and you can have anything, but don't eat that tree. That's it. Right?

It's like your kids, right? Your kids and you tell your kids, hey, look, hey, you can you can have you can do eight, but just don't do it. And they go and do that. It's like, what the maybe I should have just told you to do it, because then if I told you to do it, you wouldn't have done it. Hey, go ahead and eat from that tree.

No, no, no, no. Seriously, go do it. Do it, do it, eat from that tree. I dare you. Well, I'm not eating from that tree. Why does he want us to eat from that tree so bad? I'm not eating that crap, right? Maybe it'll look a little different. I don't know. Anyway, before they ate, they were naked. And they were okay if they were seen.

Because they felt safe. Remember, at one point they said they were in unison walking through the Garden of Eden with God. They didn't have any problems being naked then. Their bodies didn't change. It wasn't like Eve went and got a BBL or anything like that. It wasn't like uh Adam went, they had nothing changed with their physical body.

Their body, they were butt stark naked. And then after, after they ate, now they hiding themselves. So the body didn't change. It wasn't like Adam shrunk or anything like that. You know what I mean? It wasn't that. It wasn't like Eve, like, oh, you don't think I'm pretty. No, their perceptions of their bodies changed.

So the reason why this is important is because sometimes the external reality hasn't changed as much as we've attached the meaning to it. Right? See, they were okay walking around naked before. And then all of a sudden they ate and it did something they knew they weren't supposed to. Now they're asking, well, what is what is God gonna think?

Well, what how many times do we do this? What are people gonna think about me? What if they really see who I am? What if they think I'm not good enough?

Hmm?

So nothing changed about Adam and Eve's body. What changed about them is how they saw themselves. See, shame will begin when being seen starts to feel dangerous. Being seen starts to feel like, oh no. See, you don't ever hide something that you're comfortable with being seen. Think about that. So now here's something, this is the deeper, the deeper part of the story in Genesis 3.7.

Scripture says, and then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked. So they sewed fig leaves together. They sewed fig leaves together. So look at that. Look at that, look at that sequence. First it was awareness, they opened their eyes, then it was judgment, they looked and said, Oh, we're naked.

Then it was shame. Okay, we're naked. And then it was the covering, it was the hiding. And how many times do we do this? You become conscious of something, and then you immediately decide that it needs to be covered up. You need to be shameful of it, you need to be embarrassed of it. Hmm? This is your metaphorical fig leaf.

We all got fig leaves somewhere on us. Here's what I'm telling you right now: every part of your life you should be so unbelievably proud of. Because if it was not for that, we would not have this version of you today. If we took one thing out, you wouldn't be who you were. But here's what ends up happening.

We don't obviously sow fig leaves anymore, but we cover ourselves with other things. Success. Oh, I gotta be successful. Why? So then you won't think that I'm not good enough. Money, titles, followers. Oh, the perfect body, perfectionism, people pleasing, relationships, being needed, being tough, being seen, achievement, even spirituality.

And these end up being the fig leaves that we use to cover up the parts of us that we're actually ashamed of. So here's the question What are you asking these fig leaves to do? I want to succeed. No, you're saying I need to succeed because then it'll prove that I'm good enough. I need to have more money so that way people think that I'm important.

So, really, what you're saying is you need the money to cover up the fact that you don't think you're important. Do you see how this works? So now, some of the most things, the things that you prayed for and you wished for, you wish to be able to have that house, but now that house has become a fig leaf.

Because you needed that house to prove that you were worthy. I'm sorry if I'm talking to you right now. Some of us ain't building a life right now. Some of us are building a fig leaf uh uh farm. Some of us over here, we're building a fig leaf farm. Do you hear what I'm saying? We over here got a green thumb and everything trying to figure out a way.

How can I cultivate more fig leaves? And now all of a sudden, here's the deal. You ready? You start becoming more successful at hiding who you truly are and cultivating this fig leaf farm than you do being authentic and true to who you actually are. But here's my warning to you all, and this is where I really wanted to get to the nitty-gritty of this story.

See, there's always a deeper meaning when you read some of these texts, there's always an esoteric meaning. A lot of people didn't realize or ask the question, why was it a fig leaf? Why? See, there's a biological fact that a lot of people don't realize. See, fig trees contain something, a compound in their sap, right?

And when you combine this compound with this, with with sunlight, it creates skin irritations similar to a burn. I want you to think about that metaphorically. Think about that. So in Adam and Eve, humanity used, they used these fig leaves to cover up the shame from a plant that was capable of burning their skin underneath the right conditions.

But even the Bible didn't say that Adam and Eve were burned. But psychologically, the thing that you are using to cover you up will eventually end up harming you. I don't think you hear what I'm saying right now. If you keep using that money, the success, the title, the followers, the things on the outside to be the thing that is going to say that you are enough, eventually, eventually, eventually, eventually, that thing will end up being the thing that burns you.

You know how I know? Because I got burned. I see, I thought my money was me. I thought that was me. And life said, no, well, we got to take it all away. And then when I lost it all, I asked myself, who am I? So the thing that I thought was me was actually nothing more than a fig covering. It was a fig tree.

That's all it was. And I got really, really, really good. You want to talk about somebody who can grow some fig trees? I could grow a fig tree plant. I even thought about having fig trees as Christmas trees, but I said, no, we're gonna do that. We'll keep the evergreen. I was so good at growing fig trees in my life.

And then I realized all you're doing is just putting up these walls to keep you from getting to yourself. That's all you're doing. So the covering will eventually end up becoming the wound. So my point of this is be careful what you're using to hide your shame, your unworthiness. Because eventually you're probably gonna have to heal from that too.

See, what prof see, see, see, what protected you as a child is gonna be the same thing that imprisoned you as an adult. Do you hear what I'm saying? Huh? I don't think y'all hear anything I'm saying. Matter of fact, we're done. I'm getting on. Let me go ahead and stop recording here. I don't think you see, you use things as a child because it was necessary.

It was a necessity. I need to learn how to be by myself because this is how I soothe myself because my my the household was so toxic. So I learned how to soothe myself. And now hear you as an adult and you looking for a significant other, but you can't figure out why you don't resonate with people because you resonate more with being by yourself, because of that child on the inside.

And now the child on the inside is living life through the outside, sorry, living life through the adult. And this is what's keeping you stuck from being in a meaningful relationship because you have so much love to give. The fig leaf was great, it worked until it burned, until it didn't work anymore.

So the reason why I say this is because your coping mechanism isn't necessarily your enemy. I'm not, I don't want you to think that was a bad thing, but it may have outlived what his assignment was. So if we look at Genesis 3.8, when when God came back, right, came back into the garden, Adam and Eve hid.

They hid. And then notice notice the progression here. Cover what I'm ashamed of, manage what you can see, eventually I'll hide myself altogether. That, my friends, is the sequence of shame. Cover up what I'm ashamed of so you never see it. Now I'll manage how much of me you actually see, and then eventually I'm not gonna let you see anything.

And then here's what we end up doing: we start calling we call this being a shapeshifter. You start wearing a mask, and I ain't talking about Jim Carrey. And now here you are, you start to create acceptable, quote unquote acceptable versions of yourself: the successful me, the strong me, the enlightened me, the entrepreneur me, the father me, the coach me, and all of underneath all this, you know what?

You still ask that question.

If you knew me, would you still accept me?

If you if I showed you my deepest and darkest secrets, would you still love me? If I if I showed you how I think about myself, would you think that I'm good enough? You see how this works? Right? We've learned, especially in the social media age, we've learned how to become visibly publicly, but we've learned also how to become hidden emotionally.

I know. I deal with people who you think are some of the most confident people in the world. And you get blind behind the curtain, I always say get behind the curtain. It's like, no, they're a human being, they feel the same things that you feel. Right? So the fig leaf is what covers the body, but shame is what hides the person.

I want you to remember that. Your shame is what's hiding your who you really are. And then here's what ends up happening. We start to move into what I call uh I am. Not I am, I am, image management. And now we're over here trying to manage our image. You trying to put out a version of yourself that's quote unquote acceptable to everybody because you're afraid that they wouldn't really accept or approve or love the real one.

So in Genesis 3.9, when God said, He said to Adam and Eve, he said, Where are you? The exact scripture was, but but Lord God called to man, where are you? Where are you? Where are you? Your spirit saying the same thing to you right now. Where are you? Where are you? You've disappeared behind the money, you've disappeared behind uh uh uh uh the marriage, you disappeared behind being a good kid, being successful, being strong.

Where are you? Who have you learned to become? See, God's question wasn't just about Adam's location, it confronts the hiding that was taking place. So maybe life isn't asking you to become somebody new. Maybe it's just asking you to stop hiding what was always there. You start to realize that you already had everything inside of you, everybody.

See, you spent years building a costume, building this fig leaf farm, and now when we do what we call healing, it's asking you to take all that off. Take it off. Take it off. Get your butt butt naked. Now, I'm just telling you that, don't go and do this in real life, please. Because I don't want nobody walking around and popping up on my feed, talking about this person saying, Yeah, well, I was part of the academy, I listened to a podcast.

He told me to go ahead and get naked, so I went ahead and got naked. No, I'm if you're gonna do that, do that by yourself. Okay, okay. My point of this is this is where your power is. This is where your power is. When you can show up and you're naked as hell, and you show up and you say, Here's what I am.

You can look it up and down, this is what you're gonna get. So I don't know, you can take it and leave it. You can you can scoff and say, Oh, that's it. Yeah, that's it. So what you gonna do? This is all you're gonna get. So now what? That's where your power is. Okay. So now if we look at what what Adam told G told God in uh Genesis 3.10, when he asked him, God asked, Where are you?

Adam then replied and said, I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid. I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid. I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid. You were afraid to be true and be vulnerable, be raw, and be authentic and be who you actually were, so you hid. You hid behind the perfection.

I can't post until it's perfect. I have to make everything look just right. I can't just put myself out there like that because I don't want to come naked. Because if I come naked, they might think that there's something wrong with me. But you don't realize if you don't come naked, we're never gonna see the real version of you.

And that was the most powerful version of you. I've told you many times before, this universe never creates the same thing twice. There's not another body, there's not another fingerprint, there's not another living being that has ever walked this earth or will walk this earth that carries the same level of consciousness, wounds, healing that you carry.

So if I were you, if I were you, I would show up naked because this is where your power is. When you look at yourself in the mirror and you say, This is who I am, and this is the world has never ever seen a good God Almighty. I'm a one of motherfucking one. There won't be another one. Do you know the power in that?

Do you know the power in that? Think about that. If you walk around and you really truly know that you are a one-on-one, you're gonna move a little different. Even in the face of adversity, even in the face of criticism, even in the face of ridicule, can't nobody say nothing about me. You know why? Because there's only one me.

So what you gonna say about me when there's nothing else to compare me to? Do you see how this works? So you look at the pattern now in Genesis 3.10, right? We have the fear and then we have exposure and then we have hiding. You have the fear, you have exposure, and then you have hiding. See, Adam didn't initially say I hid because I sinned.

He didn't say that. What he did say was I was afraid because I was naked. That is your psychology of shame. I'm afraid of being exposed. I'm afraid of being known. I'm afraid of being seen. I'm afraid of being who I actually am. I'm afraid that if you see all of me, you won't accept me.

And guess what this ties to? The core of self.

Esteem, acceptance, approval, validation, love. See, when that's intact, I don't care if I show up naked at all. Matter of fact, I can't wait to show up naked. We might as well, it's like be like a nudist colony. It'd be like a uh uh uh uh what do you call it? An exhibitionist. I'm walking around naked now.

Matter of fact, think of it like this. It might as well go ahead and be a spiritual only fans. Okay, okay. I'm okay with showing up as I am emotionally. Okay. See, when I can't source these, the core of self internally, I now start to use external things as fig leaves. I achieve for approval, I perform for validation, I please for acceptance, I control for safety, I perfect myself so I can be loved.

And then eventually, you know what ends up happening?

The fig leaf burns you. I burned you.

So the point of today was for you to learn to burn the fig leaf instead of letting the fig leaf burn you. That doesn't mean you get rid of your ambition, that doesn't mean you get rid of your dreams, right? Don't still know, keep succeeding, keep looking to be successful. Don't stop making money, don't stop getting stronger, don't stop building, don't stop becoming excellent.

Because sometimes I see this in the self-help development, especially the spiritual community. Oh, well, I just, I just, I don't know, I feel greedy for wanting more. No, go want more, go be more for sure. But burn those things that you need as proof that you are worthy. Go make money because you want to create and contribute and give your kids a life that you never could have growing up.

Okay. Go build your business because you know you have a service that will bring light to this world. Do you hear what I'm saying? Go and grow that thing because you have so much value that you'd be a fool to just sit on it for the rest of your life. Go achieve. Not because you need to be seen, but go achieve because you knew deep down in the depths of you, you are capable of being of achievement.

Somebody asked me the other day, why do you do something then? How do you do it for like because I do stuff because I know I can. I asked myself, can you do this? Yes, then go do it, D. Go and do it. There's no negotiating. If you say you can go run 100 miles, do you think yeah, I think I well then go do it then.

Go do it. Because eventually, here's what's gonna happen. We're gonna leave. We're gonna check out, we're gonna have to go. You're gonna have to go back. We're gonna go back home. And you don't want to get to the other side and be like, man, I should have. Damn, if only I had. If I go. So don't stop demanding greatness out of yourself.

It's okay to want these things. That's fine. But really ask yourself, what is my fig leaf? What do I reach for when I feel like I'm not good enough? What do I use as that pacifier when I feel like I've fallen short or I'm not. Perfect. Hmm? What identity have you created? Because you're afraid the real you might not be accepted by maybe the people closest to you.

Three snaps and a Z formation. Hmm. You see, the question is really, if everything disappeared, right? That you used to prove your worth, would you still know who you are? And I'm here to tell you when I lost everything back in 2018, I didn't know who I was. And when I lost everything, you know what I want to do?

I didn't want to live anymore. If I'm being serious. And the reason why I didn't want to live anymore is because I didn't know how to live without it. Because I thought this was me. And it wasn't until it was taken away could I see, oh my goodness, I'm something so much more than this. Oh my goodness, if this is what I thought I was and I'm still here without it, what the f am I then?

I must be something that I didn't know. Oh my goodness. And I started on this journey. And then I go to a bookstore. I went to Barnes and Noble in Noblesville, Indiana. And I went to go buy me a book because I'm ready to go change my mindset. You know what the book I picked up was? It was called Becoming Supernatural.

I said, I'm gonna become supernatural. I opened this book up and I'm like, what the f is this? I thought this had to do with mindset.

This is over here talking about uh kundalini and energy and all this stuff. I said, This is quantum, what?

And I just started reading and I'm like, what the what is this? And then it was almost as if something something inside of me knew without knowing. Hold on now. This is over here talking about heart and brain coherence and manifestation. And I'm like, what is this? And the reason why I'm saying this to you right now is because once you start to be who you really are, the version of you who already knew what it came here to do can go ahead and get busy.

And when I went to that bookstore, that bookstore, that was the that was that was divinely orchestrated. That book that I picked up that my ego thought had to do with mindset, my spirit said, uh-uh, you about to come on back home, brother. You about to come on back home. We're gonna do what we came to do when we do it like we do it for TV.

Okay. And now here we are, 2026. I'm just telling you only things that I know. So my point of this is if you lose it all and you feel like life is crumbling, just let yourself know that you're Odysseus coming back home. You on your way back home, stranger. You going back home to that which you actually are.

But here's what we gotta do: we gotta go ahead and burn the fig leaves, okay? And life's probably gonna do it for you if you can't do it for yourself. I couldn't do it for myself, so life went ahead and wiped it all away. But I'm telling you, because I've been through it, I've gotten burned by the fig leaf, and I burned the fig leaf.

And I will tell you this. Life is so much more simple, Naked.

Hmm?

Life is so much more simple when you just be who you are. You created the fig leaf, and the fig leaf was created out of shame. Ashamed of being seen. See, when you've been on this journey enough, healing is learning that you don't have to hide anymore. I ain't gotta hide no more. I've sat in enough ceremonies, I've cried enough, I've lost enough, I've I ain't gotta, I ain't got nothing to hide no more.

Somebody asked me something the other day. Well, what about friends? I said, look, man, I ain't got no time for them, I ain't got nothing against friends. But I look, my kids think I'm corny, I'm bald. Uh like my best friend right now is probably my dog. He hangs out with me the most. You know, like that's where my life is at right there at this point.

It's pretty naked, right? Life is super simple this way. And then here's what ends up happening. You start to see that the garden was amongst you, it was around you the whole time. It was always here. You were in the garden. You were Adam, you were Eve. You start to see all of this stuff. You were walking with God, but see, you couldn't just you couldn't live through the ego, you couldn't live through separation, you couldn't live through hiding yourself.

And when you had yourself, guess what? You separated yourself from the all. You were no longer connected to it because that does not resonate at the vibration of shame. Do people not realize how this works? This is another reason why I put on my journey. I gotta, I gotta figure out me and learn this and heal and do all this stuff.

Because I'm trying to get to the level of awareness of that what I actually am in this physical life. And I know that what I actually am doesn't resonate at the frequency of fear. It doesn't resonate at the frequency of shame. It doesn't resonate at the frequency of guilt. So, what do we gotta do to work on ourselves and get rid of all these fig leaves so we don't have to walk around like that anymore?

So, the reason why I'm saying this to you all, and the reason why I want to do this podcast, hear me when I say this, these closing remarks, okay? Please, for the sake of humanity, just be who you are. Just be who you are. We don't need you to be another carbon copy of someone else. We don't need you to be like these quote-unquote influencers or people who you follow.

Be the thing that you know deep down inside you have been put here to be. And don't let it be because you need to be seen, because you need to be uh uh followed, or you need to be famous before it or you need to be just be who you are. But what if I don't know who I am? Okay, how do you get to know somebody?

Do that same thing with yourself. Start asking yourself questions, start journaling every day. Why am I afraid to show how I feel? What am I so worried about if I were to express how I really feel? Start asking yourself these questions and then start answering them. I had somebody tell me the other day, like, how do I be vulnerable?

Here's how you be vulnerable. I don't know how else to say it. You just have to let yourself know that you're safe enough to be vulnerable. But what if people think? Who cares what they people think? You know why? Because these people are too worried about what you think about them. Everybody's so worried about what somebody thinks.

I'm just telling you, that person who you worried about what they think about you, I guarantee you they are worried about what you think of what they what you think about them. And now, guess what? We all sit here like this. Well, I ain't gonna go first, you go first. Well, you be it. I'm not gonna be it.

You too. We all so worried about, and they know about everybody just standing still. If you knew, matter of fact, what they think doesn't it doesn't matter. It really doesn't matter. They hate me. That's okay. That's okay that they hate you. They can hate you and not like you and think that you suck, and you can still be who you are.

Those two things can be true at the same time. And I'm here when I tell you this. Same goes for family because people always ask me, well, what do you do when it's family? You know what? All family is some people who got the same blood as you.

That's all it is. That's all it is. But we think, oh, well, they're family. So what? Like, family can't be fed up too. Family got issues, they got just as many issues as that man down the street.

But you say, Oh, well, it's family, and now you can't put up boundaries, and now you're over here worrying more about what they think about you. How about this? You just look at them and say, that's a man, that's a woman, this is me. My job is to be me first. That's it. I'm just gonna be me.

And if they don't accept or approve or like this me, that's okay. Because I finally like it, and that's all that matters.

And then here is the paradox, the reflection. If you like this new naked you enough for long enough, they will eventually start to like it too. And then guess what's gonna end up happening? You're gonna be like, Dad, are you naked? Mom! What are you doing, Mom? Are you naked right now? Yeah, it's because you gave them permission to be naked, to be vulnerable, to be authentic, to be who they are.

Do we see? And this is how we change the world. All you gotta do is just be you. It's really quite simple. Sometimes I don't articulate and I go off on a rant, I have a squirrel mind, and I start thinking about other things, to talk about other things, but it's really quite simple. Just work on you. Just change you, just be you, just find you.

This is why I'm telling you, you gotta live in your own world. You gotta literally live in your own world and then live from it. And then eventually the mirror, the reflection has to start to reflect it. I never came here to change the world. I never did. I never came here to change my family. I never came, never, ever, ever.

I came here to change me. That's it. And I will stop at no lengths. I will literally use, I'll watch an ant cross a sidewalk and figure out how that ant has something to do with me. Oh, well, look at the ant. The ant is like, it's going on its journey and it's walking across this vast land, and there's this.

I figured I waited for it to be me in my life. So, my point of this is you ain't got nothing to be ashamed of. I'm telling you, you ain't got nothing to be ashamed of. Nothing. I tell my kids this all the time. You know you can come tell me anything. You can tell me anything. You ain't got nothing to be ashamed.

I don't care what you do, because here's the deal, you ready? You don't know me before you were born. I'd have done things that you don't have no idea. I'd done done it, got tired of it, did it again, and then stashed it in a closet somewhere. My point in this is there's nothing that you could do that you would ever have to be ashamed of.

Don't even carry the fig leaf. Don't even go hide yourself. Just be who you are. And here's the deal as parents. We can tell our children this. But here's what I've learned. It resonates a lot more with our children when we just go ahead and be it. When we just go ahead and live in. When you be real with your kids.

Be raw with them. If something's bothering you, come from a place of awareness. If you feel like crying, go ahead and cry. If you're sad, let them see you sad. Let them know. Because this is one of the worst things that you can do is to have your kids think that you were a superhero. You know what the real superhero is?

Is when they can see mom was just like me. Mom felt the things that I felt. I remember when I was 14 and I was scared, but I remember when mom was 45 and she went through this. I never forget the first time that I saw my father cry. I said, dang. He cries. Dang. He I always let my kids, my look, my kids, they know, look, I was telling them, I'm a human just like you.

And my job is to show you the way. To be the maximum. What do you call it? Aura maxing? No, human maxing. Okay? I want you to human max, be all of it that you can. But in order to do that, I gotta show you how to do it. So for us as adults, because we are stewards of this world right now. I can go on on a rant right now about some other stuff.

That is the problem right now, is we got too many fig leaves walking around right now. I'd take you down to Washington, D.C. if you really want me to. I'll show you fig leaves. That's where the really fig the fig leaf farm is. Motherfuckers don't want to be who they actually are, just be who you are.

But we're walking around here with all this shame. You ain't got nothing to be ashamed of. We have all encountered and dealt with something in our lives that have made us feel less than. I'm here to tell you that you're not less than because of what happened to you. That was the illusion. That was the ego.

That was you holding on to a lower vibration that was not actually you. So in this season, let's go ahead and start burning these fig leaves up. And it's gonna be scary. It's gonna be scary. Just like when you go out to the country and you hear something, you smell somebody burning some leaves, burning some trash, right?

You can smell it from a mile away. Oh no, what's going on here? They burn, they burning leaves. She burning, oh my gosh. She's burning leaves, and the HOA is gonna be pissed. Why is she burning leaves in the neighborhood? She shouldn't be burning a leaves. I'm burning these leaves up. I'm burning up.

I'm done walking around with these fig leaves. I'm done. Please also too, don't go burn leaves in your yard and then be like, well, DG told me to go burn them. Okay. I'm thinking I'm talking metaphorically for everybody here. But this is the season of burning up these leaves, y'all. So, oh man. I hope you got what you needed out of this as always.

Um, you guys know if you're looking at uh you maybe need help how to burn your leaves or uh really be who you are, right? DG Mindset Academy is the container that I built for you to get in there. Uh I'm probably gonna release, I'm gonna have a retreat, an academy-only retreat here in 2027. I want to go back to Arizona.

I think it would be great. Miravolve was such a wonderful, it was a wonderful experience, but um you know retreats will only be for people who are in the in the academy. Um, but I think, yeah, probably in spring we're going to Arizona. That's the place I've kind of it's been resonating with me. Uh I love it because I mean you get to go there for two, three days, three days and get spa treatments and good food and nice weather and um all that good stuff.

And I'm I've I've to be quite honest, I've kind of moved into my um my bougie phase, I guess you can say.

I'd like to be pampered. Okay. I like to have, you know what I mean? Like I haven't gotten, we ain't doing no uh pedicures, but I don't mind like a massage, you know what I mean? Like I'm starting to like this, so I like to pamper myself.

So it's like, you know, let's do a little retreat where everybody can experience it and walk around in their robes and their little head, you know what I mean? So um, but yeah, DG Mindset Academy, whereas all this is happening.

So as always, you all, you all keep going, and I wish you nothing but the best on the pathway to your results.
