We shorten the timeline on a 100-mile race and use it to explore how big results start with an inner commitment, not external proof. We unpack doubt, imposter syndrome, and other people’s opinions as signals and training tools while we build the version of ourselves who can actually finish.
• changing the plan from two years to ten months and what that exposes
• manifestation as embodying an abstract thought
• reminding ourselves “you did it” to create inner commitment
• using life as feedback for identity, discipline, and avoidance
• doubt as evidence we are still the old version
• learning to love monotony and the mundane reps
• choosing greatness over caring what people think
• reframing imposter syndrome as a required phase
• becoming the proof by looking back at prior wins
• chasing who we become rather than chasing the outcome
• “The Road To 100” and the question of what our 100 is
• returning to the dreamer mindset and using imagination as practice
• accepting pain and adversity as part of the path and a catalyst for growth

Once you see what you actually are, that you're an infinite, limitless being, you'll see that nothing exists outside of you. I'm your host, Derek Grant, and this is the Pathway to Your Results Podcast.
unknown Bro.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Pathway to Your Results Podcast. It is your brethren. DG. I hope everybody's doing well. I hope as always life is treating you justly. When I say justly, I say fairly. When I say fair, meaning it's giving you whatever you are, not what you want now. I know some of y'all want, y'all, some of y'all want, but we not being.
Okay? So I hope life is treating you fair. It's giving you exactly what you are, so that way they don't have to carry any debt. Um I may have told you all. I don't know. It's been a while since I recorded podcasts. I think I think so. I, you know, I got the memory of a fish. If I was a fish, if I was a I first of all, if I was a fish, I'd be a largemouth bass.
That'd be first of all. Okay. I'd be a bass. I'd probably be about a seven or eight pounder, right? And I'd be that one bass that you could catch over and over again because I'd go ahead and eat the same bait because I forgot that that was the the last time you threw it. You threw the same thing. I got the memory of a fish.
But anyway, I may have told you all I'm I'm on this journey that I'm gonna I'm gonna become an endurance, an ultra-endurance athlete, right? And I'm going to run a hundred-mile race here in two years. Well, uh, plans have changed. Plans have changed. My wife always says, if you you you you are you're all or nothing.
I told myself, I said, we ain't gonna we ain't gonna wait two years. We're gonna do this here in one year. Less than one year. We're gonna do this here in August. So now plans have changed. And the reason why I'm telling you this is because now it's different when you prepare and run and you're you're preparing for something that's going to happen in two years versus when you're preparing something that's going to happen in 10 months.
Hear me when I say this, okay? I never ran a hundred miles. I don't even think I've ever run a hundred miles in a month, okay? And yet I'm gonna do this here, and I got 30 hours to get this done. Now, here's one thing that I'm learning about myself along this journey because I'm about to manifest something that I have never manifested before.
And hear me when I say manifestation, all it is is the embodiment of an abstract thought. So I'm going to start embodying this version of me who would be able to run a hundred miles. And here's what I've learned about it. I had to remind, and I have to remind myself, you've already done it.
I'm gonna go ahead and let that marinate a little bit.
You've already done it. You've already had goals and done things and become versions of you that you've never been before. So therefore, you did it. Now we may look at the situation and say, yeah, but that's different. It doesn't matter. Built a business, you start a relationship, you did it, you went and got the car.
You had to become that version in order for you to do that. See, so the reason why I'm saying this is I have to remind myself that it's already done to ensure that I hold this inner commitment while taking the necessary outer steps. You see, you had to make the commitment on the inside. The commitment happens on the inside, and then your steps will follow on the outside.
So, the reason why I'm telling you all this is because this is becoming a practice of becoming somebody. Everything that you do will be you becoming someone. Look at your life as feedback. Okay, whatever you repeatedly practice, whatever uh courage you exercise, uh whatever you avoid, whatever your levels of discipline, whatever the people pleasing, whatever the honest honesty that you that you uh portray in life, look at everything as feedback.
So I'm sitting here looking at like the training, yeah, my diet's changed and how much I run, and I got parts of me that hurt that I didn't even know I still had anymore. That I'm in I have a different type of soreness. But all of this stuff is feedback. And here's where I've learned when you start on a journey to become somebody that you've never been, at some point doubt will have to come up.
Doubt's gonna show itself. And I ask myself, why does the doubt come up? Doubt ain't nothing but letting you know that you're still the version that ain't who ain't gonna complete it. I don't think y'all hear what I'm saying. Let me go ahead and say this again for y'all for the people in the back. Doubt is nothing more than feedback to let you know that you are still the version of you that won't complete the task.
The version of you who's already completed it, it doesn't have doubt because it has already completed it. We have already talked about this before. You have an imagination and a nervous system, and the two can work together to create an inner reality before you had already experienced it in the outer reality.
And because you already experienced it, you are now embodying the same frequency, the same version, the same vibration, the same identity as the version of you who has already experienced it. So if I already experienced it, how in the devil can I ever experience doubt? Doubt cannot exist where there's certainty.
I don't think that you all hear what I'm saying right now. So now, I'm sitting here looking at it, I'm going for my runs, I got my schedule. Some days I feel like running, some days I don't. I ain't gonna lie. Some days I feel like running, some days, and the way my mind works, if I'm gonna do something, I'm gonna do it the hard way so that way if I'm gonna do it to the hardest.
So that way, if life ever throws me anything, I know it won't be harder than that. Anybody ever going running on a trail? A trail is easy. I run around my neighborhood. You know how hard it is to pass them same houses over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. Huh? Now you remember the the run around the loop of the outside of the neighborhood is a mile exactly.
And you talking about you're gonna run five miles, six miles, seven miles, you gotta run around the same loop over and over and over. It's easy when you go on a trail, you run three and a half miles out and three and a half miles back in, but nah, you keep running that same loop over and over. And the reason why I'm doing this, because I gotta fall in love with the monotony.
I gotta fall in love with the mundane. When you go do something, I'm imagining you do something for a hundred miles, you're gonna have to fall in love with each step. So why I'm telling you, why you have to remind yourself, and I'm gonna get this tattooed on me. I don't know, I'll put on my story or something.
All I was gonna say is you did it. You did it. Because I started to look back on everything I've ever written down, everything that I've ever set out to do, everything that I've never believed that I could do so, I've always accomplished it. See, you see, see, you got dreams, and you've had dreams, and there were some dreams that you knew you could do, and there are some dreams that you didn't believe that you could.
And guess what? All of them happened. When you didn't really think that you couldn't do it, you didn't do it. When you believed that you could, you did it. So I started to tell myself, remind myself, you did it. But here's what I see with a lot of people. A lot of people don't understand is that you have to let the identity come before the evidence.
Do you hear what I'm saying? I gotta be that motherfucker, I gotta be her before it ever shows. So a lot of people, here's what they say. Well, once I do it, then I'll then I'll trust myself, or then then then I'll then I'll believe myself, or then so now you're making self-trust dependent on an outcome that you haven't even created yet.
You make a manifestation become something that I first need this in order to be this. See, but happens when you what happens is when you move like it's done, you start practicing the qualities that your vision requires before anybody ever sees it. And that is why we got to stop worrying about what other people think.
I just told my son the other day, you got a choice. And I'm talking to anybody who can hear this right now. If you have ears, you might as well go and turn them up. You can't be great in everything that you desire to be and still and still care what people think about you. You cannot do both. So here's my my question to you: which one are you gonna choose?
Am I going to be true to myself and be who I am? And here when I say that. Most likely when you are truly who you are, those people around you ain't gonna be able to understand. Because they got used to you pleasing, they got used to you saying yes, they got used to you being that one who's always agreeing with everything, and now all of a sudden you're gonna think for yourself critically.
And now all of a sudden you go, How are we saying? I'm gonna stand on business. Now all of a sudden you standing on business. Well, you've changed. No, I haven't changed, I've just been who I actually am. And see, when you be who you actually are, you will stop these micro abandonments of leaving yourself.
And now that you stop leaving yourself, you can start to assimilate to the version of yourself that you were trying to become. So I'm sitting here having a conversation with my son. I said, Listen, you're gonna be great if you want to be great. You might as well go ahead at the age of 14, you might as well go ahead and learn now.
And that everybody is going to agree with you. Not everybody's gonna like the way you're doing it. Not everybody, oh well, you didn't come here to fit in, you came here to stand out, you came here to stand out. So if you know this, you need to remind yourself that nobody's built like you. You designed yourself.
So here's what I remind myself. I need to become myself. I mean, I need to become the version of me that by the time the world sees it, I won't need their applause because I had been it for so long. I've been clapping for myself. I've been applause myself. People ain't seeing that's what and I haven't I haven't told social media.
Y'all are hearing this right now on the podcast, but I haven't told social media. I haven't told social media I don't run this hundred miles. I haven't told, and for the most part, the world has no idea. But every single day I wake up, let me put these shoes on, put these socks on, let me go and put these sunglasses on.
I've been raw dogging in here lately. I ain't been running with no music. I just want to hear the pitter patter of my feet on the pavement. I said, let me go and hear that for a little bit. But every day, just get up and run. One foot in front of the other, just run. Yeah, but you're tired, doesn't matter, just run.
Yeah, but doesn't matter. Just run. Because here's why. I know that August is coming. I know that eventually this thing that we recall we call time is going to dilate to a point that that day on August 21st will come. It's coming. The walls are caving in, and I don't say this from a place of scarcity or lack or or fear.
I say it as a reminder to remember the vision because the day, the day is coming. That future version of you of what you wanted to become, it's eventually going to get here. It may be two years from now, three years here, five years, but don't keep kicking the can down the road and say, well, I'll start or I'll do.
No, it's today, it's right now. This is all you have. So when you wake up in the morning, you gotta remind yourself it's coming. It's coming. So we might as well give what we have today. And now here's what ends up happening. Instead of it coming towards you, you also now are taking one step towards it.
And now when something, I don't know physics that well, but if something's moving towards me and then I'm moving towards it, we're probably gonna uh get together a little sooner. Do we see how this works? So when people tell me they have imposter syndrome, I say we were all gonna have to become impostors if we want to accomplish what it was that we wanted to accomplish.
Do you all hear what I'm saying? At the beginning, you were always going to be an imposter. I am an imposter right now. Do you hear what I'm saying? I'm an imposter. I'm imposterizing. I don't even know if that's a word, but I've been known to make words up before. I'm imposterizing being an ultra endurance athlete.
But how in the world could I ever become one if I don't be one? And this is where people get caught up when they want to manifest something in their life. You keep waiting for proof. Mother, you were the proof. I'm the proof. I am the proof. Well, you've never done this before. So the what? At one point in my life, I ain't never walked before.
And now look at me. I can run. Do you hear what I'm saying? You were the proof. But Derek, where do I find this proof? Look back at your life. Look back. You're a mother. At one point in life, you didn't have real life children. You had baby dolls. You had a kitten. You had a puppy. Maybe you had chickens.
You had something that you took care of as your own. Maybe it was a teddy bear. And you pretended, you imposterized that you were its mother. And now here you are, this wonderful mother. You have your children today. But you don't, you see, you you forgot that that was your first proof. Did we see how this works?
So here's the other thing too. Because my father, my dad, and my mom. My mom, she's my mom knows. She already knows I'm on my journey. She knows. My dad was like, so what what's what's the whole thing? What are you doing? Why why so why why you run a hundred miles? Well, where are you for what? I said, Dad, I'm at this point in life where I don't want to stop growing.
I'm at this point in my life where I'm curious to see who do I have to become in order to push past my limits. I know eventually my life is going to come to a pause, and I'll cross back over to the other side. So while I'm here in this physical game, I figure I might as well stretch as much as I can and push myself so that way when I get done, I won't sit here and say, dang, I wish I would have.
Or too bad I didn't try. But more importantly, I'm not chasing a hundred miles. I'm chasing the version of me, who I have to become. And here's the beauty of that version of me. If that version of me can run a hundred miles, because we like to think that the 100 miles is uncomfortable, it's challenging, requires pain, tolerance, and endurance and stamina and persistence and resilience.
If I can do that, that's the same thing that's needed to be a father. That's the same thing that's needed to be a husband. That's the same thing to be a leader, mentor, a coach. That's the same thing. So I can use this physical feat to develop myself energetically, emotionally. Do you see how this works?
But here's the most important thing. When you are uh looking to accomplish or create something, you cannot make the outcome responsible for your peace. See, I'm not chasing the hundred miles, because here's the deal. I may get a DNF. A DNF stands for did not finish. That may be it. I wasn't chasing the finished line anyway.
I was chasing who I had to become. And here's what I do know. I've done enough of these events. I've been on this mountain. You guys heard the podcast. I realized that the one who started the race and the one who ended it were not the same. So I realized that even within that, there's going to be transformation.
But here's what I would advise anybody who's on a journey who has a goal. You're going to have to be so convicted that your conviction becomes action. I started to study how I, how I, how I, how I operate. I obsess over something. Once I get it in my clutches, I obsess over it. I'm talking about like, I'll go and order the clothes and the shoes, and I'll watch documentaries.
I was flying somewhere and I watched a documentary when they were running 200 miles across China and I'm over here watching it, and I'm like, dang, this is I obsess over it. And the reason why I obsess over and why I advise you to obsess over it is because if you don't, you will forget. You will forget why you even started.
You will forget what the vision was. You will eventually get distracted. So I started running without headphones because I realized every time I wear music, I get distracted. I'm not paying attention to what I need to pay attention to. You gotta think for 100 miles, you better make sure you locked in.
You better make sure that's a long time. So my point of this is for you by you obsessing over it, not to the point where you're attached to the outcome, you're obsessed so that you can centralize and focus the energy and you don't forget where it was that you were going. Because a lot of people are doing it's easy.
I got something coming in August that's a physical goal, but what about when you're growing a business and it's open-ended? See, a lot of times you start growing a business or you start after a journey or a relationship and you forget what the goal was. You forgot where you were headed, you forgot uh uh uh what you were trying to get to.
This is why we have to obsess over it. Holding the vision firmly, but not holding on to the route of how you're gonna get there too tightly. So just a little fun just to fill you all in. I started a docuseries. And this docuseries, we're on, I already got episode four done. Episode four is done. I probably won't release it until episode, I'd say probably 20.
Because I want you all to be able to watch it one after another after another after another after another. And I don't want to feel, to be honest with you, I don't want to feel the pressure of, oh, I gotta get it done this week. So I'm gonna I'm gonna get about a 20, 20 uh episode head start. But the name of this docuseries that'll be on YouTube is called The Road to 100.
Now I'm taking you behind the scenes. I'm letting you all see this is self-produced, self-filmed, self-edited, self-self, okay? And I'm letting you all see behind the scenes all of it. You're gonna get to know me. I'm not as if you don't know me already, but you're really gonna get to know me. How I have to train when I'm on the road, I'm traveling, you still gotta go run, you still gotta make sure you eat right, and I'm gonna let you see everything.
But the reason why I'm saying this is because we all are on our road to 100. Right now I'm just using 100 miles, but really 100 miles is a metaphor for who I have to become. This is the most challenging, most daunting thing that I've ever done, ever in my life. And I know that there's gonna be big transformation, there's gonna be big deaths.
I've done uh 23 ayahuasca ceremonies, but something tells me that this won't be anything compared to what I have to do. And the reason why I'm called it the road to 100 is because a hundred would just seem like the number that was synonymous with everything. You think 100 usually means completion. We all are on a road to 100.
What's your hundred is my question. Your hundred could be uh being healthy, your hundred could be uh getting in that happy, healthy relationship. Your hundred could be you getting that business off the ground, your hundred could be retiring. We are all on a road to a hundred. And here's the thing that I've learned.
You already did it. You did it. So you gotta remind yourself. I gotta remind myself, this is already done. It's already done. You already did this before. You did this. Well, what do you mean, Derek? You already did it. You ain't running 100 Everything that I do, I'm doing it as if it's already done.
When I'm running, I'm tired. I'm tired, I'm exhausted. I'm saying to myself, this is what it feels like. This is what you you you this is what it's gonna feel like when you're out there. So now guess what? When I do get out there and it's time to run. I will have already experienced this. I've already done this.
So if you start looking at your life, you've already Done things that are hard before. You've done things that are challenging and you've made it. You've done it. What's the difference? What's a hundred miles? What's a marriage? What's a what's a what's a what is the difference? You did what was challenging.
And here's what I need to tell you all right now for you to get you to understand this. There's nothing that is too hard for you. There's nothing that is too challenging. You ever see somebody else do something, and then that all of a sudden gives you permission to know that you could do it too? Huh?
We talked about Roger Bannister. Roger Bannister ran a sub-four-minute mile. Was it sub-four minute or maybe sub-five minute? Maybe it was a sub-five minute mile. Four, I don't know what it was. He did it. And they said it couldn't be done. And then he did it, and then 30 people that week did it. You know what I mean?
He did that. Well, I know I can do that. Well, if he owed Rusty Crusty behind if Roger did it, I know I can do it. That's probably what they were saying. Well, Roger, Roger. How many times do we do this? But you never do it with versions of yourself. You never look back on yourself and say, Well, if I made it to that, I know I can do this.
I know I can get through this. I know. Why? Because we have the ability to expand our capacity. We have the ability to expand our capacity. I'm recording this right now on October 13th, 2026. And on August 21st of 2027, I have to run an ultra endurance event of 100 miles. Well, on October 13th, 2026, I cannot run 100 miles.
But that doesn't mean that when August comes, I will not be able to because I know I have time to expand my capacity to the point that I wouldn't be able to do this. So the reason why I'm saying this is because sometimes we will defeat ourselves before we ever play the game. Sometimes you will count yourself out in the quote unquote future because of where you're at right now.
I don't think y'all hear what the f I'm saying right now. I'm trying to tell you, stop talking down to yourself. Stop thinking that you can't do something just because you haven't done it yet, just because you've never seen somebody do it. I ask myself, why the f can't I do it? Why can't I be the first one?
How come not me? And here's the deal: if you start to pay attention, we have stories that we will tell ourselves. There's things that we will say to keep us stuck. Well, nobody in my family ever did this before. I don't have, nobody's ever taught me. Well, what the f does that have anything to do with?
Do you not realize that you are the creation of the most high? Do you not realize that you are literally a microcosmos that which creates everything? Why the f wouldn't you be able to create your life? Why in the world couldn't you go and do this? I watch people that run 240 miles in a race. Why the f can't I run a hundred miles?
Why not? And here's what I tell myself. Some of them people running 100 miles could make a three-pointer. Some of them people run a hundred miles saying, dang, he can make a three-pointer. Well, I'm looking at you saying, How are you running for 50, 30 hours straight? The difference is, is one has given themselves permission and the other one has not.
So the reason why I'm saying this is to get you to understand. And I'm not saying this from a place of uh uh uh uh uh uh I don't even know what the word is. I I mean this literally when I say there is no thing that you cannot do. There is no thing that you cannot do. And just because you can't do it right now doesn't mean that you did not have the capacity to expand your abilities so that you could.
So here's what I want you to do. I want you to figure out what's your hundred. What's your hundred? I don't think y'all hear me what I'm saying. I'm living a dream right now, y'all. I am living a dream. When I tell you, I'm I have turned back the clock and I've turned back into the 10-year-old me, the one who was a dreamer, the one who used to watch MC Hammer on TV and he'd watch the music videos, and then he went and asked his mother, Mom, can you sew me some pants so that I got that pouch in the middle, like MC Hammer, so I can wear these motherfuckers to school?
She said, Yeah, I know how to sew that. I'm the kid who's showing up the class with some MC Hammer pants on, custom made. I went to the fabric store and picked out the fabric. I don't think y'all hear what I'm sick. I'm swirling everything I've ever known. I'm telling y'all the truth. Second grade, Mrs.
Hollower's class. I came in there. How the kids stay lit? I walked in that classroom, so lit with them MC Hammer pants, and I had the tribal, the tribal uh fabric. She looked at me and she said, Oh my goodness, this looks like something straight from Africa. I don't know what you're talking about, Ms.
Hollowa, but I know one thing. Can't touch this. You can't touch this. This is who I've always been. So you couldn't tell me. I had a I had two pairs. I had like a tribal design and had some purple ones. When I put them motherfuckers on, you couldn't tell me I wasn't MC Hammer. I've been doing this my whole life.
I've been doing this. I've been pretending. I've always done this. And then I stopped. I stopped. We live in an age of social media. We live in an age where when you put yourself out there, we gotta be worried about what people are gonna say.
Let me tell you something. Forget about what them people think about you.
Forget about what them people think about you. So here's what I did. I went on Nike ID, I ordered me some running shoes. And you can go ahead and put anything you want on there. I put DG on one foot and I put 100M on another. And then I went and said, you know what? They run a little special. Let me get another pair.
So I did the same thing. Then I said, you know, I need some sunglasses. Because for some reason, every time I see somebody running, they look like they got on sunglasses. I think that's how you do it. I'm gonna get me some sunglasses. So I ordered me some sunglasses, and then I realized you could customize them.
I said, okay, we're gonna put DG, we're gonna put 100M. Do you see what I'm doing? I'm putting 100M, that 100M stands for 100 miles. I'm putting all of this stuff, I'm putting 100 miles, 100 miles, 100. You ain't never even run 100 miles. But you can't tell me that I haven't when I put that shit on. Do you see how this works?
Do you see? So now, now, now, what do you think is happening every time that I run? I am slowly assimilating. I am slowly starting to embody the version who's run this hundred. And see, I'm living in my own world. You can sit here and say this dude is nuts. He's over here claiming a hundred miles, and he ain't even run a hundred miles in a month.
Yes, that may be true. But here's what I also know. You can't become something if you haven't first been it.
So, my advice for some of uh these adults out here, y'all better stop being so realistic. You better stop being so realistic.
Hmm? I bet you ain't never had nobody tell you that. Stop being so realistic. Stop being an adult. Get the f out of here. Stop stop with the adult stuff. Knock it off. Knock it off. Alright, you did it long enough. Alright, good. You got your house, you got your bills paid. Yeah, okay, good, cool, cool, cool.
Get back to the dreamer. Get back to the dreamer. Get back to that little girl inside of you, that little guy inside of you. Who deep down inside knew he could do anything. That version of you who used to put the grocery bag on your shoulders and pretend you had a cape and jump off the porch. Hmm? That version of you who used to take a baseball with his baseball mitt and throw it up, throw that baseball as high as he could up in the clouds and pretend that he would touch the clouds and bring down a pizza so he could eat it because he thought clouds were marshmallows.
Get back to that version of you. Because here's the deal that's the same muscle that you're going to use to accomplish your dream. People don't realize dreams have two parts. You have the actual dream that you dreamed of, and then you have the next part of the dream of you being in the dream. See, you had to be in the dream.
You had to see yourself in the dream. You had to see yourself completing the dream. And here's the beauty of it. It's free. It costs you nothing. I know what you're thinking. Yeah, but what is family gonna think if I'm delusional? What are they gonna think when you do it? Huh? They'd be the first one.
Oh my gosh, I knew you were gonna do it. Get out of my face. No, you didn't. Get out of my face. Get out of my face. You the first one saying you need to get a real job. Get out of my face. That's what I'm telling you. You're gonna have to be your biggest cheerleader along this journey. You're gonna have to be your biggest cheerleader.
And here's the deal. You also gonna have to become like water. You know what I mean? To become like water. You're gonna have to be able to bend. You have to be able to bend and become adaptive. That's a whole nother podcast. But my point of this is for you. Along this journey. It's about you realizing that in order to do something, find your your your road to your hundred, you're gonna have to make the commitment to the future version of you and remind yourself that you did it.
You did it. You did it, and then move like you've done it. Move like you've done it. Train like you did it. Wake up like you've done it. I woke up this morning, I sat on the edge of the bed, I just sat there. I was tired because I ran later than last night. I ran twice yesterday. I ran late last night.
I woke up, I was tired. I had to run this morning. I said, you know what? Remember the vision, remember the goal, remember the commitment. Remember, you promised in 2026 that you would keep all promises to yourself. If we're gonna do it, then let's do it. I had a teammate used to tell me, you said, you can rest when you die.
I can rest, I'll rest when I'm all done. Let's give what we got, because we don't know how much longer we got, so we might as well go ahead and give it. The same goes for you. We my mom used to always tell me, you know not the day nor the hour. If I know not the day or the hour, then I might as well give what I got.
And here's what you're gonna learn about yourself. Good God of Mighty, I don't think y'all hear what I'm saying. You're gonna give what you got, and you're gonna think that's all you had to give, and then you're gonna realize that you got a little bit more. And that's the expansion of the capacity that I'm talking about.
And now here's enough. If you give enough of what you thought you had and you make it through, you're gonna walk a little bit differently. Now, five miles isn't very hard, ten miles isn't very hard, 30 miles isn't very hard, 100 miles isn't very hard, 240 miles. Because you will have equipped and built yourself.
Because you've reminded yourself that you did it. So, for everybody out here listening, I just want to tell you thank you and continue on your journey. I didn't even know that this is why I did it, but this is why I guess why I did it. This is why I named this path this podcast, the pathway to your results.
The pathway to results is just another way of saying the journey to your hundred. Hmm. You're in your race right now that we call life. Go ahead and keep running it. Go ahead and keep putting one foot in front of the other. I know some days you get tired. Hey, I ain't gonna lie to you. There's sometimes where I gotta stop and just walk for a little bit.
But I don't walk the whole way. Alright, I feel good. Okay, let's get back going again. And just put one foot in front of the other. And here's what I've learned. Here's what I've learned. I was running the other day and then my my Achilles was hurting. My Achilles was hurting, and then my my like my pelvis was hurting, and then my And I'm like, dang, how in the world am I gonna run 100 miles?
I'm feeling like this in the first mile. I got 99 of them left. And then something said this too is a part of it. This too is a part of it. You ain't always gonna feel good. You ain't always gonna feel like it. You ain't always, things ain't always gonna go smooth, so it's easy. It ain't always gonna be that.
That too comes with it, and then something said to me, and something's so clear. I don't know, what do you call it? The higher self, the Holy Spirit, whatever you want to call it. Something said, You jumped in water, now you mad about getting wet. But you thought you were gonna get out here and run these miles, and something wasn't gonna ache.
You 40 something years old, boy. You you you ain't no spring chicken. This is a part of it. And at that moment, when I accepted that this was going to come with it, it no longer had power over me. Now, all of a sudden, this pain, this adversity, this struggle, I realized it was built and it was so divinely placed in as a way of ensuring that the growth would take place.
See, anytime that you can push through something that's challenging, on the other side of it will be growth. And when I got done running, my Achilles was barking at me. And I said, dang, I did it. I did it. Initially, I was like, How am I gonna do this? But you did it. So for everybody here, remind yourself that you did it.
I did it already. I did it. I did it. Not that I can do it, no, I did it. I did it. I've always I have always done everything I set out to do. I can do this too. Remind yourself of that. And as always.
On the pathway to your results,
