Hello, hello, hello. It's our favorite time of the week.

You sound better. Are you like cured?

I feel like I got over the hump of that 20 day cold.

Realistically, it was 15 days of just.

RSV was six weeks.

No, it was gnarly. The amount of snot was.

People are eating their Cheerios.

I know. Sorry for everyone.

You are in New York for Harry Styles, but I am going to say you look great. Your hotel room looks like it's just a bed. Like it's like the bed takes up the entire room. Yeah, because it's New York.

But there's on this side, a closet, a bathroom, like a little coffee station.

I'm not made for New York because I couldn't exist in that.

You would be so claustrophobic. I know you and you would.

Couldn't exist in what you have right there. There's not even a side table.

Yeah, there is on that side.

It's the size of, it's not a side table.

And there's a nice little desk and a really beautiful TV.

No, that's not. It's not. Look, I'm going to tell you the truth. And I mean this in a lovely way. That's not a nice hotel room you're in.

Oh, well, girlfriend.

I'm sure it was like $ 5, 000.

It was $ 1, 000 a night. And also this hotel room. I've been in hotel rooms in New York. This is luxury.

It's not luxury.

I'm telling you. Look, it's no Rosewood where you've got your own patio and garden.

I mean, it's just a bed, a giant bed. Now, I admit it has nice bedding. That blanket, though, they're not dry cleaning that thing, just so you know. Even the nicest hotels, you never use the blanket. They don't dry clean that. They're not dry cleaning that every time. So some person before you has cuddled up in that thing, sneezed in it. I'm sure. Ate in it. I'll take it off. Oh, immediately you do this. Fold, fold, fold, place somewhere in the closet, hands washed.

You know what I know you would die at? So right now the room that I'm in has the most stunning view.

It is.

Okay.

It is gorgeous. I see the very large window. It looks like a shoe box.

It is like the entire like New York sky.

Like it's very pretty. That room is gorgeous.

That room is not nice. Oh my God, it is. Trust me.

You just haven't... I understand I just don't do New York. I've been to New York one time. Bye-bye. I said, thank you so much.

I have my last few trips to New York when I've looked out my wall or my room.

Oh, you saw another building?

You just saw a wall. Show me that again.

A wall that goes to nowhere.

So you just... It is just concrete. A brick wall, right?

I get it. I get it. Buildings are very close together. Look, and I'm not judging. It's just not for me because I know that that's an expensive, beautiful hotel you're in.

Nope.

Jason Bateman and I probably were meant to be together because he would have immediately taken that blanket off too.

Well, and you only do first floors.

Also the sconces are not even. Oh my God. Am I, is that my eyes?

They look even to me.

Amy.

Yeah.

When, when it's dark at night tonight, the New York lights are going to hit. It's their anniversary.

I understand, but are those wall sconces even? They're not even on the ceiling.

No, they're not.

The right one is a little higher. A lot a bit higher. But Danielle, come back. I mean, we're happy to have you.

Sorry, I was turning on the AC because it's hot in here.

It's getting hot in here. Okay, well, anyway, that's enough of us critiquing your hotel room. I have another question for Manny since he's here.

Okay.

So Manny, I got an email like on Sunday from somebody. I don't know who she was. And it had emojis and it was in reply to an email from 2008.

2008?

Yeah. Sadeo and Kareem had a birthday party in 2008.

Did you get this email? Did you get this, Manny?

Or is it just me?

It's catfishing.

But it had everyone copied that we knew in 2008. That's so weird because I didn't get it.

It's so weird.

Did you see Manny's name on it?

I have to go back and look. But I feel like you would have been on it. That'd be weird if you weren't invited to Korean's birthday party in 2009.

Like their plan B party or something.

Yeah.

Right.

So anyway, and then also my texts have been going haywire. I got it. Suddenly I got a text from 2001. Oh, I'm sorry. 2021.

Why are you getting old texts and emails?

I don't know. Really fast. Do I get that phone?

I'm concerned for you.

I'm sorry. Hold on.

If you're getting old stuff like that.

And the lead that Amy is bearing is at, what was at the end of that email from 2008 that you got?

Like there was something at the end where I.

It was a weird link where it was like the next great music star or something.

Yeah. And I told her, I was like, that's spam.

I didn't click on it.

It's trying to get all your info.

It doesn't copy everybody, you know?

Yeah.

You need to open them up to see if they're real emails, though. Like, what if they, like.

Well, Sadeo had the invite to Sadeo's birthday party.

Because Danielle would have been on that as well.

No, I wouldn't have been.

We talked about this. Oh, you didn't start working yet?

I didn't graduate college until 2012.

Holy moly.

I was working for Ryan, but in his production company, not radio. So weird.

My phone's like crazy. So do I get that new Apple phone?

No.

Because it's called an iPhone.

The iPhone Duo?

No.

I heard it's heavy and I don't care for heavy.

No, you don't get it. Why? Because you're talking about the one that opens up into an iPad.

Why do you need it, Amy? I don't know. What's that Tesla that's not the Tesla, but it's like a monster truck Tesla?

The Cybertruck.

Someone said, is this the Cybertruck of iPhones?

Yeah. Here's the thing.

I heard that... Look, it's a lot of real estate of glass. If you drop it, that it will shatter. And I heard that it's so expensive to fix and also purchase.

Oh.

I just.

The heaviness. Someone said the camera quality isn't good. Lauren said the camera quality isn't good. Just the heaviness for me, that's a no-go.

I would say like if it's an Apple product, the camera has to be good. I'm shocked by hearing that. I mean, I don't know.

It does not interest me at all. I don't trust myself with my phones to begin with. What kind of case do you put on that?

Well, I don't know. I'm sure they're making them. Do you want to know my most boomer thing as you like to judge old people as boomers, even though I'm not even a boomer? I can't text on my phone.

I know, your font is very large.

Well, no, it's also the keyboard. I have to switch to my iPad keyboard. And then I crank that out, crank it out, crank it out. On my phone, I'm like.

Not to bring this back to millennials, but I saw this meme where it's like a millennial cannot do a big purchase on their phone. They whip out their laptops to purchase.

Wait, why?

Why can't you do it on your phone? Apple Pay.

Click, click. Boom.

No, it's like for like a big purchase.

You're too scared.

Oh, we got to order plane tickets like Gen Z will do that on their phone. And millennials whip out the computer.

To do it. Gen Xers are like 1-800-IFLIGHT-SWA. They're like not even doing it.

1-800-DELTA. They're like, please make a flight reservation.

And then we're like, operator! Operator!

Oh my God, AI.

Just me, zero, zero, zero. And it's like, before you do that, can you give me some more information? Zero, zero, zero, zero, zero.

There has to be a rule of like the, like people calling a line and getting AI and like people on the other end, just being frustrated. Like when I get connected, when I'm just like trying to get to my doctor's office and they're like, if this is an.

Emergency, go to the ER. Now, would you like to press one for this? Describe why you're calling. And I'm just like, I'm dying.

Help me. Well, I guess this is a good time to bring up my zombie apocalypse survival. My TikTok is Jonas Brothers, surviving the zombie apocalypse, country music. Oh, you have not listened to this.

Hey, Jonas, do yourself a favor and pop on over and give the Josh Peck episode a a little listen because you want to trust me. We're telling you this is something you want to listen to.

I laughed so hard.

I cried.

I cried so much laughing. I've seen it so many times.

It is.

It is brilliant. It is funny.

Let's just say it's Kevin Jonas had a Tom Welling moment and it was iconic.

My favorite part is I'm a hot dog.

So you guys, please listen because this will all make sense once you listen.

So, well, OK, now we're going to just jump around. I don't know how I feel about Noah Wiley being the sexiest man alive. I don't like it. Well, okay. I'm not going to go that far. That's extreme. I love Noah Wiley, right? I am ER. I am the pit. I love it. It seems.

Can I tell you what it seems like? Can I finish your sentence?

It seems like they offered it to four other people. And those four other people said, I really don't want to be the sexiest man alive.

And you know what?

They said, okay, our fifth person is Noah Wiley. And Noah said, you know what? I want to be the sexiest person alive.

Sign me up.

I was about to say, it seems like a default that like, yeah, they just went, they went, they went like super or they went like super safe.

They weren't, I mean, they could have gone with Alan Richson or, you know, I love Alan from Richard.

I love Alan too.

He's a babe, right? Like we can't knock it. He's a beautiful man. Like, it's not about that. It's just, that's not the person I would pick.

Maybe People Magazine has an older demo. Like maybe they're not.

I wouldn't say Noah Wiley's older demo.

Is he?

Yeah, I don't know.

I mean, with Stassi.

Yeah, Stassi would know.

Hold, Stassi. Laura, whoever's on here. Do you know who Noah Wiley is? Tell the truth.

I'm obsessed with Noah Wiley. But I don't think he's at all sexy.

I am.

Wait, too many people talking. Okay, Lauren. You first. Yeah. You think Noah Wiley... I'm obsessed with him.

Do you like that he's the sexiest man alive?

I think that there's definitely... What's his name? Abbott from Pitt. The other doctor.

I think he's way.

Sean Haddisey. Yeah, Sean Haddisey. If we're talking about people from the Pitt, it should have been him. But I love Noah Wiley.

And there's something about him in the Pitt that is kind of attractive to him.

I agree with all that. I just don't know that he's... sexiest man alive.

This is what I'm going to say.

And also he should have been it last year.

Yeah.

Everyone has their own definitions of sexy for me.

It's like, there's like, I don't know.

Like for me outside of looks, like what makes someone sexy is like personality, what they're doing.

Like, I don't know that from him. Like, I don't know.

He's pretty great, but you know, who's that guy that I sent you that text of? I don't know. Who does this?

I have to look.

He was some reality guy you like. Oh, Craig Conover. Ew. But why did he look so good?

Absolutely not.

He's hot.

I will give that to you.

Why did he look so good in that one Instagram thing? He's a babe.

He's actually really, really good looking. He used to date Paige DeSorbo.

Why was he walking down the street in the middle of traffic, though? That was weird. In a taxi.

I don't know. But he's like, you know, again, this proves my point. Thank you for saying that.

I'm like, you know, his personality based off of, you know, reality TV.

And you're like, you are not the sexiest person alive, even though you are so attractive.

Correct. I understand what you're saying.

Who like the pressure of who is actually last year?

No, it should have been, but no, I don't think it was. Can somebody tell us who the 2025 sexiest man alive was?

Look, I think people, was it the guy from wicked Jonathan Bailey?

That's random too, yeah.

Jonathan Bailey.

That's really random.

It was.

It was Jonathan Bailey. My noggin gets it sometimes. I remember being Jonathan Bailey.

Who would I... Look, first of all, I like Ben Affleck. I'm all about Ben Affleck. I would have done Colin Jost. He's like an underdog, but yet super sexy. Like, Noah Wiley seems very Captain Obvious. Like, they just were in a room and they had a hundred names and they were like, you know what? I'm just going to go with Noah Wiley.

You see, I don't think it's obvious. I think it's default.

Like, it was.

It's obvious default to me. Like, yeah.

I know Wiley. I hope he doesn't hear this. You are a good looking man. We're not saying that. It's just weird.

I love Noah Wiley. Do not get me wrong. I love the pit. I love Dr.

Carter.

Like I've been team, even that librarian thing he did. I've been team Noah Wiley since I saw him and Conan together at the Ojai Valley Inn. I hope we bump into them again when we're there. I don't know that he's sexy. Like, I'm not saying he's not the sexiest man alive. It just seemed like it wasn't, oh, it didn't surprise me. I just went.

Not for this season.

I don't even need it to surprise me. I need to hear it and say, yeah, yeah.

Manny, your co-star.

I know.

Sexiest man alive.

They could have voted me.

You know what this feels like? He handed the. the scalpel to.

You guys ever see that the meme where dancing with the stars where they say like Pasha is like voted the hottest dancer or whatever and like I oh my god what's his name Jan Jan the guy who danced on the Taylor Swift tour is in the corner looking at the camera being like well he's like such a babe I'm.

Gonna be a total hot take that people are gonna not like I'm also sort of like okay Jay-Z Oh, no.

That is not a hot take.

I think everyone under the sun is saying that this is the worst halftime show.

I'm kind of annoyed because this is in L.A. Yeah.

But maybe he's going to have a bunch of special guests.

No, no, no. Jay-Z's New York. If the Super Bowl was in New York, you get Jay-Z.

Do it.

Get it. Understood. You understood the assignment.

Got it.

We are in L.A., We have Miley. We have Justin Bieber. We have... I can't do it anymore. You guys get what I'm saying?

There's zero chance those two were happening, but... Well, the rumor was Miley. And I was obsessed with that. Maybe the Hollywood Bowl shows messed it up.

Didn't she kill it? Didn't she do so well?

Allegedly, no.

Allegedly.

It depends which side of TikTok you're on. Because some people are like, she killed it. That looks so fun. I wish I was there. Right. But some people are like, she didn't sing. She pointed the microphone at the crowd.

Blah, blah, blah.

Who would I have wanted? You know.

I would have done another Adam Levine 9-5 moment.

Jay-Z feels like Noah Wiley to me. yeah, they're iconic. They're awesome. They're amazing. Default. Like that people are just in a room and they're like, you know what?

He's on the NFL board.

He picked himself.

So, well, I can be telling, I can be telling maybe they had somebody and it fell through.

Oh, so Jay-Z, like I'll save the day.

Yeah.

Look at that.

Hannah says he did pick himself.

Yeah. like okay if I was Jay-Z I would have said Beyonce can you take this one.

Like obviously Beyonce's coming and gonna do something that's obvious we're getting Beyonce we're getting a lot of special guests I'm sure it'll be cool but it's just like I don't like it it wasn't fresh to me I think that's okay maybe that's a better way to explain my Noah Wiley thing yeah you are sexy Noah haven't you already won this do you know what I mean like it just feels like Oh, haven't we done this? I mean, look, Noah Wiley is a cutie. Don't get me wrong. Okay, here we go.

Musicians that live in L.A. Billie Eilish, I would have preferred.

Dr.

Dre, Snoop Dogg.

We just had Dr.

Dre.

Red Hot Chili Peppers. That's all I got. I mean, I would have got somebody in the 90s, 2000s.

They don't have to live in L.A. to do that.

But they just have to be L.A. Like, I don't know.

We did that last time. Remember the last L.A.

One? Yeah, that makes sense. That makes sense. It's just I don't know. It's just disappointing. I'm not going to lie.

Oh, you're you're like harsher than me. This headline makes me laugh, though. Noah Wiley is a sexist man alive. No second opinion needed. No.

Here's the thing.

I don't want Noah to not think that we think he is the sexiest man alive. He is. You check all the boxes. Noah, you check, check, check, check, check. Just didn't you get it last year or the year before? Like, that's what I'm wondering. I feel like we've been there, done that. Yeah.

Seen and been there, done that.

Yeah. I watched Nobody Wants This this past weekend. The first five episodes. So I have so many questions. Yeah.

Because I haven't watched it yet, which is my own fault, right? It's my own fault that I'm backlogged on shows. TikTok is throwing spoilers. So I don't want to ruin it for everybody. But do you know what I'm doing here?

Yes.

Is that in the first five episodes?

No.

Somebody's... The finale, I think, for me. I literally think I've seen the end.

Unless I fell asleep during the fifth episode. So unless I.

Think someone spoiled the end. Talk to me about when, because I'm also seeing this all over TikTok, the brother and the sister, you know, the brother and the sister. Are they together breaking up? Like there's just right now.

It's not really that like, so the brother separated from his wife, not for his decision from her decision.

Right.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Um, and, uh, the sisters like kind of like pepping him up.

Okay.

So I've seen the end. I think, I think I've seen the finale spoiled many, 25 times on TikTok now. Look, it's my own fault. And that's how I feel about spoilers. If I didn't watch it quickly enough, my fault. So, right. Right. You know, I'm still going to watch it, but I think I've seen the end, which, which.

Is, That actually all comes in episode six. Oh, OK. So I'm one away.

Yeah.

Yeah.

But, you know, these first five episodes, maybe the second half of the season will be a lot better. But the first half, I was kind of like I could I was I don't know. I felt like the first two seasons I was locked in. And right now I'm folding my laundry while while watching. I'm. Doing this and doing that. I'm packing, you know, whatever. It just isn't capturing me as much as the first two seasons did.

It's still great to look at Adam Brody, though. Well, look, it's a great show, but it's just a great show. It's not like, yeah, the most amazing must watch. you won't believe it.

Adam came up though I mean this dude was like a nerd looking kind of guy and now he's like.

Adam Brody never had a nerd face he never had a nerd face he was a nerd am I alone in this I think I think Adam Brody has been hot since day one laughing.

Yeah, they tried to make Seth Cohen nerdy and he just, he was not nerdy. He was hot from day one. Correct. That's such a great point, Hannah. Correct. That's so... I don't even need to say anymore. That's exactly right.

You know what you do need to say is because you haven't finished it yet. Your zombie apocalypse.

Right.

How do we survive it?

So I thought I sent a text that had a lot of advice. Now, I don't know that I need all the advice. Oh, okay.

It's in our end up, yeah.

I see it.

So I.

Think that I could survive it. I think I've watched.

Except for number three on this list you can't do.

Fill every tub because you mean because I don't have a tub?

Because you don't have a tub.

So mean. No, I don't, but I have a lot of pots. Okay. So first of all, I know that your number one thing is water. Like immediately water.

So that's why I stockpile water. How much stockpile do you have?

An entire fridge full of water, but it's not going to last me long. That's why you immediately, when you think the zombies are coming, start filling.

Up one gallon of water per person per day. That feels like high to me. That's a lot of water.

A gallon a day.

Like, like I think right now, because I think we have to survive. My family, I would have, I would last a day. And also, how do you know how many days?

It's for the zombie apocalypse is forever. So if the zombies start coming, it's, reversing it has never been done in a movie as far as I know. Oh no, I take that back. World War Z, they found a vaccine. And Brad Pitt's coming back in World War Z too. And I can't wait. But like Walking Dead, it's not like it ended. It's just still going. I've never seen anything else where they cured it. Have you? I'm sure there's a thousand where they've cured it, but just top of mind, right out the gate. I just only know World War Z. Hmm. Okay. You need water, but eventually you're going to have to figure out how to get water, right?

Like you're going to have to like go to a lake and I guess you start a fire and then you boil the water, right? Like you're going to have to figure that out eventually, but this is just to get us through the initial. And I also agree with this. The tip number two says don't join the traffic, hunker down and lock your doors.

Explain this to me. What does this mean?

So a lot of people, people are fleeing because, but in the zombie apocalypse, like, It's not just your town that has zombies. The zombies are going to be everywhere. So if you get in the cars and you just see it, cars, cars, cars, cars, cars, you're better off getting your house ready to protect yourselves from the zombies than thinking you could outrun the zombie apocalypse by going to Nevada or whatever.

I also get that because if you get stranded in your car, you don't have anything versus your house, you have supplies at least.

And you could like... you could get like a great example is in the last of us, what Nick Offerman did. I mean, he really created a fortress and he would have been, he was protected from the zombies for years and years and years and years and years. He finally just.

Paradise with Shailene Woodley and it wasn't zombies, but you know what I mean?

She like Graceland, she like got, she hunkered down at Graceland.

So Amy, how do you protect yourself, Amy?

In Paradise, why? Was it some sort of a storm? Well, you need water.

Do you have a machete right next to your bed? What do you have?

Tell us. You have to have knives.

You're stressing me out. Why did Paradise wipe out so many people?

Because there was some sort of a nuclear storm or something.

But that came after.

Why did that? Why are they in that? Why are they there? I think it was like, a storm of like a 2012 type of situation or day after tomorrow, some sort of a big storm. Remember the storm and storm and storm. And then all the power went out and like.

Wasn't there like a reason why they couldn't go outside?

Yeah.

There was sort of nuclear fallout or the air was gone. Maybe the storm sucked the air away. They said there was no air or something.

That's interesting.

We don't.

Hmm.

Now this is blackout every blackout, every window. I don't know about that one.

Take the stairs up and block them.

That you can see a candlelight from like a mile away. But zombies react to noise. I mean, at least Walking Dead. Zombies, not light. But you also have to protect yourself from other people. Oh, Hannah. You make a great point. From other people who want your water. Exactly. Eat the fridge first. Very obvious. Very obvious. Never fire a gun unless you have to. Never go underground.

Hmm. Why?

Why?

Maybe because if you went, say you went into the subway, if the zombies come down.

You can't get out.

You don't have, you don't have an egress. Catch the rain. That's sort of where I'm at with the, you're going to have to make your own water soon enough.

Yeah.

Why am I getting so much zombie content?

Well, it's because you're talking about it and your phone listens to you and then it just.

It does do that, by the way.

Yeah.

Oh my God.

It does.

I haven't talked about David Boreanaz in so long, like a really long time. Sometimes I think about David Boreanaz because I know, I think this person I know is his doppelganger. So my brain thinks him, but I rarely say it out loud. Yesterday, I sent an email about David Boreanaz.

You did.

The David Boreanaz content I'm getting in my phone now is crazy. I mean, I don't understand. I didn't even know that Rockford Files was happening and now I'm getting nothing but Rockford Files.

So many computers in our universe know us better than we do. Like I will literally say something like to my husband, like, oh, these jeans are tight. And then I like see all my algorithm, like here are stretchy jeans.

Speaking of stretchy jeans, I am having the hardest time with jeans right Yeah. I need low rise, stretchy.

Low rise is having a moment right now.

I literally will not do high rise. I cannot have something jean pressing on my.

You see, and that's how I feel about low rise. I'm like, I need something to suck in.

No. I don't want to be uncomfortable. So I need low rise, stretch.

I can't do low rise.

Even the low rise isn't low enough.

I'm offended by low rise jeans.

I'm appalled, Amy. I cannot believe it.

When you see me in my low rise jeans with my cute sweater and my blazer, you'll be like, you were right. Because those high rise make you look like your butt is this long.

I will take that versus my stomach hanging out. I'm not telling you to wear a crop top. No, I just can't. Like, I like to feel held in.

No, I want to not feel. I want to wear a loose dress. I don't want to feel all tight. If I start to feel tight, like here and here, then I can't eat. I can't do it. I just want to like go potty all the time. Oh, it's the worst. But it's the sizing. There's no consistency across the board. No. I can literally be as extra small and a large.

I know.

Like what?

I know.

Or even like you can be a 27 here and a 30 there.

Like it is, it's so dependent on the store. It is wild. Like there's this one.

Store, if you guys shop at Madewell, where I feel great buying jeans from there because I'm two sizes smaller than anywhere else.

Those people know what they're doing. Yeah.

I'm wearing them right now.

I think then if you're like an actual 24, like my nieces or whatever, you can't even get jeans there.

No, probably not.

It doesn't matter because we're all going to survive the zombie apocalypse. I got to go back to nobody wants this for a second and talk about the fire alarm.

Thank you for saying this.

OK, so recently, maybe a week ago, the fire alarms in the other like on one half of my house were all beeping within a few days of each other. John and I realized that there they were overdue for replacement. I think they can only last 10 years and then they start just like beeping. So we replaced all our fire alarms, but we were tortured for two days straight.

Like one fire alarm beeping and us trying to hunt down which one it was and then going to the next one and so forth. So I got extremely triggered when I was watching it because I kept pausing my TV.

Being like, is this one of my fire alarms?

So many people.

They did not set that up properly. They let it go for like two minutes.

And do they ever explain that it's the mother's or whatever?

So they let it go for like two, three minutes. And then the girl goes, ah, That sounds so annoying. Talking about the fire alarm. I was like, could you have done that after the first beep?

So I didn't think it was in my house. So many people were like looking around at their fire alarms. Oh my God.

Thank you for bringing that up because it really annoyed me. I, for at least five minutes, I kept pausing it being like.

I can't decide if it's a funny bit. Like that everyone's doing that or if it's actually annoying.

That's annoying.

I don't like it. You couldn't tell that the noise was coming out of your.

No, because it was. It was annoying.

Oh, did I not tell you what happened to me at two in the morning?

No.

Tell me. This is kind of fire alarm me. but it just was life. Okay. Cause have you ever like in the middle of the night, you're just like whacking at the fire alarms. So I go to bed really late, like two 30, but the other night I was two and I'm like, okay, it's two. And I turn off the light and then I, cause I do my emails in bed. And then I realized the heating pad's plugged in because I got my foot issue. I got my neck issue. So I yank the cord of the heating pad.

My arm hits the ice water thing bigger than this.

No.

It goes flying. So not only do I have 2 a.m. water everywhere, I have ice everywhere. So it's not like you can just leave it. And all in the power strip. And the internet says like, literally the internet wants you to shut off your power before you unplug the power strip, which I'm like, I don't even know how to do that. So, but it's all like, so 2 a.m. I'm just on the ground, cleaning up water, cleaning up ice, trying to figure out how to unplug this thing. I had to move my dresser. Move my dresser.

No, no.

Like it took Hulk strength.

By yourself.

Yeah, Manny.

Thanks.

Yeah. Where were you? Like no one was here to help. I might survive the zombie apocalypse on my own too, but.

Can I one up you for a second?

Please do.

So what I was just saying.

How my fire alarms were beeping in my house. The way I found out what the very first alarm that started beeping was dead asleep three in the morning.

And I hear beep, beep, beep.

And I immediately wake up. John is passed out.

He doesn't wake up from that?

No. And I'm like, where is this coming from?

And then I realized it was coming from the baby monitor in my room.

And then I put.

My ear next to the baby monitor and I'm muting one of the kids. Then I'm muting another kid to find out which room it's in. It's in the freaking baby's room at 2.30 in the morning.

So I have to go in there.

Does that mean it's out of a battery? Don't they plug in?

Yeah, that means you got to like replace it. And so... The monitor or the battery? No, because it was... It was the fire alarm in the baby's room that I was hearing.

Through the monitor. Oh, I thought it was on the baby. Oh, sorry. I'm so slow.

So then I wake up John and I'm like, you're going to have to help me do this. We got to go in there like ninjas and make this work. It did not work.

We went in there. You have to take it off the wall.

Oh, yeah.

No, we did. And we were loud, obviously. And the baby just goes.

Oh, no.

No.

Middle of the night stuff is crazy because I have such a weird night owl thing that sometimes I'm like, am I the only person awake like in the town?

You are crazy.

No, I see three a lot, but I don't. My problem is if I see three, I want to see 10 at least. Do you know what I mean? I want to sleep till 10.

You and rock stars are the same.

I know.

I do live a rock star life. I do. Because like, I remember like, I forget who, if it was like Lionel Richie or Steven Tyler, all those guys.

Yeah. You would do well on tour. I would not.

The time I would do well, but the bus is a no for me. Yeah. I've been watching a lot of train videos on my TikTok. Like I'm on the Amtrak from San Francisco to LA and I'm in this car.

You wouldn't like that? You can work on the train?

It looks fun, but I think I would get motion sick.

You won't, but I think you would have a problem not being able to get off.

I would. You know that boat we took in Tahoe? Not like a speedboat, but that Boat?

Yeah.

I felt sick. Yeah.

Yeah.

I'm going to go to Alcatraz soon. And I think that boat's going to make me a little sick, but it's worth it. Are you going to Alcatraz with your nieces? No, I just want to. I have never done the tour. I've been to Alcatraz for a concert, but I've never done the full tour. And I need to. I want to. That's so fun. Thank you, Manny.

Well, hmm.

And that's the news.

Is there this John Gosselin story? Do we need to cover it? I think you're the one that put it in there.

I did, but I'm just... I don't know what to think of this. I believe Colin. I kind of believe John Gosselin. I do feel like Kate has some issues. Like I've seen it. She does seem, but why all the, what's going on?

Right.

I need to know, like I'm getting a lot of he said, she said, he said, she said. How do I know the truth?

Has where's Kate?

Is she like, does she, I don't think she's going to talk about it.

Is she around? Does she do anything?

Sometimes I see her with who I think is her security guard slash boyfriend on TikTok. Look, I don't know. And look, I guess that's such as life. Maybe each of their versions is true to them. It seems like there's no consistency.

Yeah.

Like what's happening?

I think they're all a little messed up.

And then the one sister seems to be not happy with the one brother, the both that live with their dad. It's very, it's, it's not, it's very, Something's wrong.

Yeah. There's a lot of trauma and drama.

And yet he's got New York times. Number one, bestseller. It makes me, I kind of want to read the book now.

I don't know.

I don't read books, but I'll get the audible or whatever. I need to read.

Lots of things this week that made us question the universe. Things that make you go.

Things that make you go.

That should be the title of this episode.

Totally do it. Things that make you go.

Hmm.

Shout out to Noah Wiley. I feel like Noah doesn't feel supported by us.

I know.

He does not feel supported by us. It's like, Noah, we support you. It just feels like you've won this 25 times. That's where I'm at. I feel like you've already won this so many times. Yeah, give it to somebody else.

Like a co-star.

Dr. Flores. I'm on the bit. Are you Dr. Flores?

I am Dr. Flores.

Who would I do as sexiest man alive? I would do Colin Jost. Because I want to do Ben Affleck, but that feels kind of like we've seen that too.

Yeah.

Colin Jost, I don't think has ever won it. He's very funny. He totally knows he's not, that he is the, Scarlett Johansson is way more successful than him. I kind of love the optics of that. Give him his flowers, Colin Jost.

Yeah.

That's my pick right now. I think that was a, I think we messed up.

My default pick will always be Harry.

I just love him.

He's magnetic. He's magic.

See, I sort of thought Harry for the Superbowl.

Do not get me started.

It would have been great. Thank you. Thank you. I should be casting these things.

People in the magazine should have called me.

Because I think people would have gone Colin Jost. surprising, but yet I get it. Or somebody might be like, who is that handsome devil on the cover of People magazine? No one's saying who.

Is Colin Jost.

There are boomers that might not know Colin Jost, for sure.

Well, then they definitely don't know who Noah Wiley is.

Can we give one sad thing? Can I say something sad?

Yes.

We've lost another Star Trek crew member. Walter, I don't want to mess up his last name, Koenig Chekhov, 90. so now all we have George Takai and William Shatner Sulu and Captain Kirk that was sad that was sad I mean I'm so and anyway I've got all kinds of thoughts about Star Trek but I'll save it for next week sorry to end on a sad note we gotta end on a happy note what's something else happy it's Danielle's anniversary oh happy anniversary and you know who's a hunk that's a good one Let me tell you who's a hunk. Blair Underwood. Blair Underwood.

Truth.

Truth.

Let's just end there. That is so good.

Blair Underwood on Doc. I recommend Doc to everybody. That's funny. You know something? I don't know who that is.

I need to look that up.

You don't know who.

Blair Underwood is?

He's the original Samar Moore.

He's... From L.A. Law and Sex in the City. He dated Miranda.

And he was on Soaps back in 2008.

He was?

Yeah.

Two shows I don't watch.

He was not on Soaps in 2000, Manny. I have to correct you because he was on L.A. Law in the 80s. You are not correct. Good try, though.

We have booked him on KTLA. That I know.

Obviously, Blair Underwood is a hunk. Doc is good. But you know what's a thing about TV now that we don't watch regular TV? I didn't even know the show was back on. Like I didn't know there were fresh episodes. Like it is confusing with all these streamers. Yeah. I leave you with that. I mean, we'll talk about it more later, but like, how do I know what's what?

I need a list. I need lists and charts.

I need one streaming service that tells me everything that's going on.

And I just need one.

There's too much.

There should be an app that does that.

I'm coming up with a really good idea guys for Instagram. a way that you can go on our social and find out what you want to binge, but I'm still working through it. So just, do you remember how excited y'all got that listen if you want to is coming? Wait till you see on social, here's what you need to watch, but it's a work in progress. Give me a minute. Give me a minute.

I like it. You've been talking about it for a while.

I like it.

Yeah.

I've been, it's been building for about three weeks. It'll get there. It'll be there. It'll be on and within a couple of weeks. All right, guys.

Well, we hope to listen again if you want to.

Bye. That was clever.

You said that.

This is from you.

Of course you think it's clever. I picked myself.
