Hello, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome back to Trash Talk. Oh, look at that. Showing a little shoulder. Yeah, for all you. That's what you're tuning in for, right? My God. Oh, what a week. What a time. Speaking of said shoulder, I'm going to expose some more of it. We are currently in the situation right now in Kelowna where, you know, it's fall, winter, even sometimes summer in between. Weird stuff like tomorrow. It's supposed to be colder than today. But 5 a.m. tomorrow is supposed to be warmer than 5 a.m. today.
It was fucking freezing. As you all know, I go to the gym in the morning and it is fucking cold right now. I got everything. I bike up. I get the gloves, the pants, everything like that. But it does not stop it. But yeah, we are back for Travis Told You on October 21st, Wednesday, 2026. I hope everyone is doing well. I may seem a bit frantic because I am a bit frantic. It's been... A couple weeks.
It's been a day. Today has been a day job stressful day. Just a lot of things going on. Weighing on an email that was like, okay, situation. Nothing like I'd be in trouble or anything. Just a situation dealing with the work. It's like, okay. Depending on how this next email goes, workload could be a lot easier or a lot more. We'll see. Not in total. Just for this one project. All depends on how the follow-up stuff happened.
And I'm just dreading an email. So maybe midway through this cast, you'll see me get an email. And I'll check my phone. Oh, fuck. Or I'll go, okay, good. We'll find out. But we're here to talk about Clayface. And the reason, as you've seen on the Geekverse schedules, I haven't been in Pinterest because this is day 13, business days 13 of the twins at home. First three days was a reason for just like school, like pro day days, whatnot. And then after they got hand, foot, mouth, and they've been home. So they've been doing work stuff, dealing with them, dealing with extra life stuff, trying to edit stuff. It's good to keep them home, right? It's also you have to keep them home. Health reasons, I
get it. but man, it has been a struggle to get, like, bounce everything going on, right? So I'm behind a lot of stuff. I'm behind an Extra Life promotion. I'm behind a late-night biker. I'm behind another project. So hopefully all that stuff's going to go well. But today I want to talk about this because I saw, okay, saw the headlines and then something that happened, which I think it went better for them, that obviously at 12 p.m. PST, the Clayface reviews came out. And at that same time, There was a notification on my phone from Variety or Deadline.
And I was like, oh, Poison Ivy series confirmed. It's like, that's peculiar. That's interesting. So I wasn't sure I was going to. And hopefully we're just going to talk about this. If I got some time, I might talk about what I've been watching recently. All depends on the twin and their nap time. So we're going to go from there.
So we're going to talk about the Clayface reviews. We're going to talk about Poison Ivy and talk about how, you know, kind of a questionable situation. So we'll see. So. Oh, and I already hear one screaming, so we'll see what happens there. Usually what happens is they have a bottle, and then they get a little mad, and then they go down, but you never know. So, Clayface came out today. No, it's come out tomorrow. Let's see what it's currently sitting at right now. It is at 73%. So it debuted with 77%. So it's dropped a little bit, and then it has a 6.6 on an average rating, which to me is like the more important one because i know people some people like that hate raw tomatoes make it their personality i don't understand it's just a website they're
just doing whatever you don't have to use it you know we've talked about this since the beginning of the podcast right but the one and they took it away for a little bit it says new it's funny new average of raid reviews it was there before on raw tomatoes and then they took it away and they brought it back because i think i don't know enough people complain i don't know why they brought it back because i thought for them it made more sense to be like just leave it raw nor fresh like just leave it that right Because to me, the average score, that helps.
It is more like a Metacritic thing, right? And because Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes, they share similar critics, but they don't. So that's why, and I usually go to Metacritic more for the game stuff, right? Because on Metacritic, they only have 35 reviews, and then on Rotten Tomatoes, they have 75.
Maybe if you add all those reviews, it would be similar. Metacritic's a 59, but the reason I just don't use them is because I feel like there is more people on the film side that are on Metacritic, or on Rotten Tomatoes, right? So 73%, not too bad, because I was considering two reasons why it was going to be a lot worse. One, they did the classic where they did, like, a premiere. Not a premiere, but, like, some sort of showing, a screening. And it was mostly, like, influencers. And I'd say people that are easier going on these type of comic book stuff, right? Which could even be me in general.
I know people might hear me complain about Marvel and DC stuff. But... And, Hunter, I will get to that question. We're going to talk about the Poison Ivy stuff in a second. I'll interlude it with this conversation in a second. But... I'm still more partial to it because I like the genre, right? I'm still going to call it out when it gets repetitive or it's bad writing or just seems kind of lazy or if things don't come together. Of course, right? Like, I have that thing with Vision. I'm liking Vision, but I think there's a few things in there where we go, ah, we've done X, Y, and Z. And listen to those reviews.
Please give those reviews a listen. That will dictate if we're going to continue on because the first episode did, like, okay numbers, but nothing, like, crazy good for us. So it's like if people don't listen, we'll make that, like, what we've been watching or whatnot because if people aren't there, then we have other things we can talk about that people will be there for, right? So check out Vision Quest.
Me and Taylor are having lots of fun with that. But with Clayface, I thought, okay, we heard that. And then I thought, as we saw more people that were critics seeing it, it felt more like middling. So this review is, so far, if it stays in the 70s, which, like, that score, that I think is pretty good, right? Obviously, I think Superman was somewhere in the 80s, right? Supergirl, I checked, it was 52. Lanterns was higher up, I think, also in the 80s. And then if you look at the average of a 6.6, that's kind of what I was thinking. Now I do think in a 6.6 or a, you know, a 73%, I think those are the movies for the most part that can kind of go either way. Right.
You can kind of see that, like you're going to be in a six realm. It's all going to come down to personal taste. There's tons of movies that are six and sevens, you know, go away Kirkland, um, that I absolutely love. Right. We all have those. It's not it to me, it's not a, Because even by itself, 73%.
Not a bad score. We live in the age where we've told it many times. People shouldn't be, oh, it has to be 100% or 90% or it's nothing. No, no, no. It's fine if it's that. And it looks like, because what was... Let's see, for example. Let's see what the Sony stuff, right? Was the villain stuff. Because that was always the worry, right? Let's see. Morbius. I was going to search Morbius, too. I don't know why. That shows how tired I am. So, Morbius. 15%. Okay. Valid. Venom.
Let's see all the Venoms here. Um... 31% for the first Venom. I think it's valid. 40% for the second Venom, not valid. And then 58% for Let There Be Carnage, not valid. I think it should be the other way around. It should have been Venom at 58%. Last Dance could stay, I guess. And then Let There Be Carnage was actually the highest, sorry. Last Dance is at 40%. Okay, so still better than those. Okay, let's see here. What else we got? We got Kraven. We got Kraven, right? 15%.
And then Madam Web, that's like, single digit, right? I think. Let's take a look here. Madam Web is at 10%. Okay, there you go. Double digits. but, yeah, so, and all those don't have varying degrees of audience score. So, I think that's what this could be looked upon if you're looking at the critical side where I do think it's not going to be anything amazing. I don't know if it's going to be so good that it's going to blow the box office up as far as, okay, lower budget, that's great. It's reported 30 million. Right now, the final tracking thing is anywhere domestically from 25 to 35 million.
That could go up. That could go down. That kind of goes all the way, right? This, I think, is like at least some positive word of mouth. It's not like Supergirl where that derails a little bit, even though I think people had decided. I think most people have decided the opening weekend if they're seeing Clayface or not, right?
There's obviously some people that are on the fence. And then it builds the weeks after if it's like, oh, you got to see that. Or you can catch that at home, right? Which I think that's what I feel. So that's where I say this does not hurt it. I don't think this necessarily helps it. But I think it's better not to hurt it because I think it's also where it's like, hey, We're tracking it 25 to 35.
This is a $ 30 million budget. If we can hit that, great. You don't want the reverse where it's all-time bad, and maybe that will deter some people, right? So I think that's a good score for a Clayface movie. And with James Watkins, I think I would be more worried if this was Mike Flanagan directing it. I know it's his script, but if you're a longtime listener to this podcast or a longtime film fan, don't play dumb. You know that just because someone wrote the script, unless they're directing it, That script, one could have just changed no matter what.
If they're shooting from that script, all the time, hey, let's change that, let's change that on the day. Not big set pieces, obviously, but just certain things, dialogue, character motivations. And we had already heard the script was being rewritten, right? So it's not like a big shock there. So if it was Flanagan, I'd be more like, oh, okay, only 70.
All right, because even though, like, what did Cary get recently, hey? That's his newest joint. Let's see, Cary, 2026, that got 85%. Yeah, that's more of the, it's not even certified yet. Uh, that that's more like the Flanagan style, you know, I'm sure he has some 70 projects in there, but I feel like his high bar is like 80 and up, which is 73, only seven down. I think that's pretty good.
I think what this is stemming from on a critical standpoint, like I said, the fan standpoint to me is if it's somewhere in a 6.5 range, that's going to be mileage may vary. That's going to be like, I've used Supergirl as like a 6.57, right? Where I enjoyed it more than a lot of other people that are kind of in my sphere, but the people that didn't enjoy it and the reasons, I don't say they're wrong. Okay, I get that. There's just like, Millie Alcock, I like, again, I'm a character guy and an acting guy and sometimes, not over story, but I can say it, right? A great performance will give it many points, right? It's the same thing as like, hey, I was thinking about this today, like Bohemian Rhapsody, definitely not the greatest movie, right? But
I am somebody, I think Rami Malek is actually very good in that movie. So that gives it some points because I'm watching a great performance. We'll see what happens with Clayface if they have that going on with Thomas here. But I think that for the critical stuff, it looks like it's going to be a better made version of those Sony villain movies, right? And hopefully it's still, again, my big point of contention is I hope when I end that movie that Clayface is not a anti-hero. I'm not saying he has to be a villain that like, I want to turn everyone to clay and kill everybody. No, but I should, I don't want to see him like someone's getting per like their purse robbed. And then a big feet of clay comes up and hits him. And
he's like, you know, this ghost, you stepped in the wrong puddle of mud kid. And it's like, Oh no, I don't want that. Like I, I want like him to be doing his own selfish things or villainous things. Right. So I think from critical standpoint, it looks like, Hey, this is a Sony Marvel villain movie that, possibly, but, like, a better, well-made version of it, right? So, because that's what I think, you know, Seven, whatever, that's, I think, solved for a Clayface movie directed by James Watkins, and I think fans will go either way. Now, that's why, for me, it was the, once the reviewers started to see it, and they were giving some sort of, like, some of the more negative social media reactions did feel
similar to Morbius, and, like, Venom being talking about, like, the script issues, and very poor dialogue, and X, Y, and Z, so that's where I was like, okay, so I was surprised, and I think That DC was surprised. So obviously Clayface will move on a little bit. There'll be a review tomorrow for Clayface, so check that out.
Obviously live tomorrow and then on the feeds on Friday, but that should be lots of fun to see what's going on there. So we'll give our thoughts on it, see where we land on Clayface. Because I do think, to me, also with a score like that, if it's like a 6.5, that's definitely also a movie where someone could watch and be like, oh, I absolutely hated this, right?
Because even then, what is Venom? What did I just go back to? Let me just do it. I still have it in my, good, I didn't close the tabs. Oh, no. didn't save it I just want to see what Venom's like average score was not the even the audience score right yeah 80% audience score which I remember right so 31% that was an average of 4.5 and the audience score was 80 even at the audience score you can go oh tons of people love it and when we saw Venom I remember when Venom ended the whole audience clapped I'll say 90% of them clapped and I was in shock I was in awe like really we're clapping for this all right, sure. And that's where it shows that can kind of go either way. So if like these more middling movies, that's where I think it's going
to be. Mileage may vary. If you like whore, body whore, some of the stuff being Gotham, you'll be okay. I think what we've heard is there's great performance there. So that's good. Um, so why, another reason I thought, and that's why I was going to do like the whole, like trash told you right now is I thought, okay, they at 12, it was literally at 12. Um, oh my goodness. Thank God. I can tell you. I completely lied to you guys. The work issue that I was dealing with was a personal issue. And we got an email about Gwen misbehaving and having to write an apology letter and being rid up and all this stuff. And all our kids are great. But Gwen's somebody that like Logan, I think, is kind of like a little troublemaker. Ellie
is very just like loud and very like overgoing and exciting and excitable. I think that's why she's in her own trouble. It's just like, oh, she's just like a funny kid, right? Gwen's definitely more like the quieter one. So when we're hearing this stuff, like it was like these kids getting in trouble for like doing stuff during a poem, like for remembrance day, I was like, no fucking way. I was like, so I, and it was weird because the email was a bunch of like, oh, the kids, but, and it never said Gwen. So I was like, okay, I'm going to email just to be sure before we talk to her. And thank God, hang on.
I got, I got a screenshot that to Emily. Hang on, hang on. Thank God. Let's see. Oh, thank goodness. Cause I was like, that's going to ruin my day. I don't want to have to do the big talk with her and be like, Why are you being– because it was like a substitute teacher, and apparently the kids were like kind of taking advantage of that. And everything about it was like Gwen never had– everyone was like report cards, great student, never in any trouble, never overtook anything like that.
So I was in shock. And I won't say horrified because, of course, I guarantee they're going to get in trouble at some point, right? I got in trouble as a kid. But the thing that was in this email, I was like, there's no fucking way. It's either that or there's a bad group of friends. And then I just got the email back from the teacher being like, oh, sorry, this was not supposed to go to you. Thank God. Now I'm in a much better mood. So, uh, let's see. Uh, Carson, I saw you put something there. Let's see here. Uh, you just put TTY as like, Oh yeah, thank you.
We are alive. Um, we'll see how long we go because I hear some baby. So we'll see. We'll talk about this. Um, uh, yeah, the GA love them. Right. And it did so well. So the same thing like with Clayface, it could be that it could also be like, look at other mommy. I don't know what to end up making after the fact. Right. Cause I know the, the second, uh, box office let's see here i'll pimp up the discord join the discord down below uh there we go um other mommy box it had like a 70 drop or something like that right but that trailer was so good because yeah 79 million worldwide even then doesn't matter 79 million worldwide and what was that budget there Budget was $ 18 to $ 19 million. Nothing. So same
thing as Clayface. Clayface could have enough moments. And I did say this. We'll see what happens. When I saw Resident Evil, the trailer for us, when it played the whole eye-clipping thing and those moments, the crowd was reacting like, oh, my God. Now, again, that could be, hey, that's too gross. I don't want to see it. Or that could be a movie where they see this and they go, hey, there's some crazy shit in this Clayface movie. So I do think it's– I think no matter what, it's going to be a success– I think that it's going to make its production budget back. Now, how much of a success is that? We don't know because, what, production has to make $ 60 million? That's easy. It's tracking to make
like $ 45 million in the opening weekend altogether. It can get to $ 60. Now, the question is, you've got to usually double it to get a profit, right? So you're in that profit territory. Weekend 2 is big and will be that word of mouth about Halloween stuff. But back to why I thought the score was going to be lower.
is because around, like, right before the reviews, the Embargo went live at 12, and I had that because I was, like, thinking about going live, it worked out, right? Every once in a while, either it's bots or something, we got Bang Chang saying, I'm sorry, but UK gay. I don't know what that is. I don't know if it's supposed to say something like me being gay, but, like, you know, that's okay. And then I'm so big and black, just, like, interesting.
Always some interesting people popping around these comments, you know? It's 10 inches. Good for you. I'm above average, I can tell you that. Not 10 inches, not porn star level, but above average, so I'm happy with that. So, around 12, right? It was like right at 12 or right before, it came out from Deadline of, hey, Poison Ivy is gonna show.
We have talked about this for months now, right? It was around the time of Batman when they did the casting for Matt Reeves. It came out as like a minor rumor, right? So... this is why we always cover the C and B tier stuff, right? Because it was, it was just an hour that put that out of like, Hey, I'm here and they were talking about a show or we're talking about a show. Didn't know what was happening.
And then a few like weeks or a month later, he said, Hey, it's definitely happening. He had no confirmation of where it was, whether it was Reeves or DCU, he just said it's happening. And then it was very quiet for a while. And I remember we talked about this because he doubled down on, Hey, there's a show happening.
And a bunch of people picked up like, Oh, it's, Scar Jo's playing that yet to that. And he said, Hey, no, no, no. Like it could be that, but I'm not saying that. And we even talked about like, Oh, is Scar Jo playing poison Ivy? So I do think they put this out because they were worried. I think they were getting a sense that, Hey, there could be some people that are on hiring critics. If they're feeling this way, other critics might be feeling this way. So we, we, we have to, uh, now you gotta go. Now you gotta go.
You're in a timeout now too much, not safe for work stuff. They do it in a way where, hey, let's just in case this goes bad and we wake up and see like a 15%, a Madame Web Venom type of score, right? That's where you go, okay, we have to get something out there. And people love Poison Ivy. I wonder why they're putting out like another Batman villain thing.
But Justin Shields says, happy for LeFranc. She earned it with her success on Penguin. Really hope she comes back to the Reeseverse though. Justin, I don't think there's going to be a Reese verse, unfortunately. We'll talk about that. So this came out. So I thought the score was going to be lower. It's not because right now let's refresh and we'll see. And then we'll stop talking about the Clayface score just to be sure. 73. So I feel like it's going to settle at a mid to high 60s. We'll see. Right. Yes, RJ. I had heard this. Well, heard or we talked about this on a show where the rumor was hinted. It was initial pitch that got rejected alongside Catwoman show. Was grounded on revenge here with
Pamela Isley going on revenge tour, killing off various crime business lords, right? And we talked about this on a newscast because we thought, is that also the plot for the Batman? And is ScarJo playing Poison Ivy? Because there was some mixing reports, whether they were mixed accidentally or people on purpose were like, hey, let's do this, you know?
I'm wondering, especially if it's an HBO show, if they're keeping it with that idea or if they're taking it in a different direction. Yeah, it could go all over, right? I think they could use it as like a mini-concept, so, and I'll go back to the very top, what are your thoughts on the Poison Ivy series? So, not send them that, Raves Universe. And that was the other part of these stories, right, where, so, Poison Ivy Show, I think they put out the story just in case Clayface gets bad reviews. We got some hype. And then if it gets good reviews, it's like, hey, we got a Clayface movie that's doing pretty well review-wise, 73%. I would fucking take that for Clayface. And then, hey, guess what?
You're getting Poison Ivy. So it's worked two ways. Either it counterbalances the good-bad news, or it's like, hey, just two good news. For me, it's not good news. I don't... So it's not with the Matt Reeves thing. I'm not surprised about that. Like, look at what's happening with Matt Reeves. We don't even... We don't even know if he will return.
I know that's the plan, right? For him to do post-production. Whatever's going on with him, nothing in life's guaranteed. We don't know whether it's him or his family. I think I got more details of stuff that it could be. I... it's a situation where you don't know where the chips are going to fall. So that's where it's like, that could be the plan, but things change all the time in life. And if something goes bad with these personal issues, easy and become back. I didn't think part three was really on the table anyways, unless it blows up. I've always said this. I think if it, I think it's two things. If Man of Tomorrow underperforms, Matt Reeves is still in play. If Batman 2 really blows up, then
I think it's obviously definitely a play. If it makes a billion dollars, then they're not going to shovel down. If it makes kind of the same as the Batman 1, or if it makes less than Man of Tomorrow, I think they might happily say, hey, you're going to go your own separate ways. Or it still could be a thing where the personal reasons don't let him, or maybe he won't want to, right? Maybe there'll be shit going on where Matt Reeves is going to be like, I can't or don't want to direct this. I'm not getting it in someone's mind, we don't know these fucking people, we don't know anything, we're on bystanders, so all I can go from is just from, like, a bunch of scenarios, when I do the whole Doctor Strange thing, and I
see all these scenarios, I'm sure there's a few scenarios where the Reeseverse goes on, but I see more scenarios where it doesn't, and even from Gunn's point of view, I get it, where when Penguin came out, and he got a bunch of shit, it was funny, like, oh, look at these DCU, like, studio projects, everyone's like, Yeah, like, sure, it's a DC Studios project, but, like, you weren't a part of spearheading this, right? I can see you wanting Elseworlds, a one-off show or movie. Great. A whole universe of trying to establish the DCU and then the Batman Re's universe.
The Re's universe was established when there was no gun stuff going on as far as, like, the DCU, right? I can see from Gunn's point of view, like, hey, like, even if he's like, hey, I'll give you Batman 3, but I can't have, like, a whole TV show thing going on. Like, I don't want to confuse the audiences.
I want to win them over on our universe. I just can't do that right now, right? And I think Reeves would probably take that if he said, hey, I'll still give you your movies, but I just can't do the shows. I think he'd go, okay, you know what, that sucks, but I want to do it. And don't get me wrong. I do want to be in the world where the Penguin happened. And like Clayface, because remember, they talked about this last week. Flanagan and Reeves worked on that together first. I want to live in the world where Clayface is in the Batman universe. Where the Poison Ivy show is in the Batman universe. Where we got that fucking Arkham show. And remember there was rumors that I was supposed to star Barry Keoghan? And it
was about to be, because there's the cop show and the Arkham show. Arkham to me is a place that has so much potential that they've not used. It's just sitting right there to use, but they, they haven't. So that's where for me, I obviously, because the quality of the DCU has been very up and down for me and I easily prefer Matt Reeves stuff. Still like what Gunn's doing for the most part. And I do think he's the safer choice because I think Matt Reeves is probably a Batman guy. I could be wrong. But if, even then, he might not want to do that, right?
If they went to him and said, hey, let's say even before they talked to Gunn, if they went to Reeves and said, hey, do you want to run a DC Universe? And he might have went, I just want to do Batman. And they might be like, cool, right? I think Gunn is a better suited person for a universe. But for my personal taste, yeah, all the stuff we've heard about that, because I've already seen people like, oh, he took another thing from the Reevesverse, right? And, right, what RJ was saying there, um, that article came out a few weeks or a month or so ago when it was that Poison Ivy and Catwoman were dead and that's the one that hurts the most is the Catwoman stuff because I don't think we're getting Batman Part 3
so I don't know if we're ever going to see Selina Kyle again with Zoe Krauts and we're never going to get to see Falcone Sophia Falcone and her interact I thought that was going to be the Catwoman show where you get to tell her origin more story of her in Blackgate and then also or not Blackgate fuck Bloodhaven, more in Bloodhaven, and then also tying the sister together.
I thought there was so much potential there. That's the one that hurts the most. It's Catwoman, then the Arkham show for me. Because I actually think there is a fun, like, Cuckoo's Nest sort of Arkham-style show you could do with Barry, right? And you get more on the Joker. So that's where, there is part of it where Clayface, Poison Ivy, if these things were originally connected to the Reeseverse, that sucks.
It sucks in a few ways. Sucks that I'd want to see it there more. And sucks if it is like, oh, yeah, like, these were your ideas, but we're going to take them. Unless it is him being like, hey, I don't know if I'm going to get to this. You guys could, like, this still could be a good project. Like, I want to see it happen. Like Clayface, right? And that's where I feel it is because I, again, I know nothing about these people. But Matt Reeves has been all over talking about Clayface. He's been in reels. He's been in interviews.
I don't think him and Gunn actually have some sort of tenacious relationship. It could be circumstances or just a, even if nothing's going on in personal life, Reeves could be like, hey, I get it. You got a whole universe you got to do. This is a different time. I absolutely understand. Thank you for letting me make my movie.
That's all I ask for you. And I would love the help, right? They've been nothing but good towards each other. It's not like with Zack Snyder and the Justice League thing. When that happened, he made a statement and then he was gone forever. Right? Until Snyder cut and everything. That wasn't the situation. So, for me, we know nothing about this.
And I'm just saying, okay, for whatever reason it didn't work out. Where I come from, I agree with Justin there. Lauren DeFrank, fantastic choice. Did great with Penguin. Sure, if there's reverse, get her back in there. But to me, that's a sign of there is no more reverse, which I've been saying for a while. after Batman 2, and it's like, we still want to use this creator, what can we do with them? Well, let's get her on Penguin, right?
Or Poison Ivy. Where I don't like it, and this is only me saying, if this happens, I'm not a fan of, like, the whole point of, if let's say this happens, if Batman Part 3 happens, to me the point is, Matt Reeves is doing the epic crime saga universe thing, right? And to me, the DCU Batman should be doing a few other things to distinguish itself. That's why I don't want Matt Reeves to have a Robin because it should be a Bat family. That's one. A Justice League Batman. That's two. Three, a fantastical Batman. I think that's the perfect world where Reeves Batman is the detective, dark and gritty, and like serial killers, politicians, that sort of, you know, realistic villains. And the DCU is the mud monster,
the poison ivy plant lady. The Scarecrow, Joker in Nevada Chemicals and not just like I put on paint. Bane that's fucking huge and not just like Tom Hardy. That's what I want. Now, you might be saying, well, Travis, you're getting that because they're saying it's on the show. Yes, but to me, and maybe he'll prove me wrong, but I feel like if Clayface is a hit, I just don't see them putting Clayface as a Batman villain, right?
I see him like in Creature Commandos where he's like part of a Suicide Squad or Secret Six or whatever. I don't think that's going to happen. It's the same thing as Poison Ivy. And that is the thing, where just like the Spider-Man films, the Batman films are so interesting, intriguing characters. I understand of, hey, we need a show.
Who has some cachet with the general audience? Poison Ivy. And who's a great character? Poison Ivy. That's why Batman is such a great rogue gallery. There's so many stories to tell there. I just wish it was in a different order. Now, Clayface, I don't like the comment, but I understood what we talked about where it is, hey, They needed some content. They needed a movie on the slate.
Flanagan wrote the script. They're not doing anything with this right now, or they chose not to. Let's bring that back, put it in the DCU. Sure. I just don't want to make this a habit of any time we need something, break glass, use a Batman character. And here's the caveat, though. I'm all for this show. If you were to tell me, hey, Poison Ivy is the villain in Brave and the Bold, and then after that she's going to get her own show, abso-fucking-lutely, whether it's her origin, whether it's stuff in between, whether it's after the fact, that's great i'm way more down for that than because like and like i said i could be wrong this is where it's the asterisk right but i just don't see brain bowl like clay face
being a main villain where i think you could have done a movie about that i think you knew a poison ivy fantastic movie with her as the main villain but i don't think you're gonna do that if she has her own show because if she spins out on her own it's like well it might be better to do like her and harley and anti-hero stuff and yet we've seen that it's the same thing as harley right Harley Quinn, Bloop, and Suicide Squad, and she was never, ever going to be Joker, like, we, I know they maybe were developing it, but we were never really actually gonna get that Joker-Harley movie in that sense, where Joker, like, Harley's like a, the henchwoman, right? And I miss that.
I love the Harley character at times when she's broken out and what she's become, but I still am bummed that we never got the just Joker and Harley, like, cause and havoc, cause and shit, being, like, you know, her absolutely infatuated with him and him really infatuated with Batman, but using her, and then we get that story, right?
We just We just skipped to the part where, oh, she's confident. She's wanting to turn a new leaf. It's like, oh, I want to see the fall first, right? So same thing with Poison Ivy. I want to see the fall. And I guess you could say, hey, maybe there's a chance the show's an origin. They build her up and then she becomes a villain. Maybe I just have to see that first before I can believe it. So that's my worry. And same thing. We already got Bane and Deathstroke, who has been a Batman villain, right? So you have Clayface, Poison Ivy. I'll leave Deathstroke out because he goes all over the place villain-wise, but You got Bane, Clayface, and Poison Ivy. Those are three villains that, you know, they're
right up there with Mr. Freeze. Where if we're doing Fantastical, they're in Man Bat. They're on the fucking list. They might be on the top five. Because, like, a Two-Face you could do in Reeves stuff, right? Choker you can. Penguin you can. Professor Pig you can. Scarecrow, like. And even, like, the villains like Bane. Like, no one did him in a realistic. way you can do that with almost anybody but with the villains that are okay now we're in a dsu where the world's all fantastical and filled with comic book lore and love and yet that's where i go okay i really want to see batman fight a massive bane a mud monster that shapeshifts and poison ivy Like those are movies by themselves. So that's where for me,
like I need to see what the future plans are and what brave and the bold is going to do, because that's where when Hunter asked, like, are you excited? Not really yet. You know, like I need to see, and again, with the DCU overall, the projects have been good to find other than lanterns for me. I really enjoyed lanterns, didn't end up loving it, but like all the rest of the stuff has been anywhere from like, like a, I don't think there's any fails, right? Peace Baker's not a fail. Supergirl's not a fail. Yeah, so they're all in the 60 to 70 range for me, right?
And that's fine. That's good. It's, to me, better than what the DCU started for... Well... Hmm. That's an interesting... We should maybe do that as a cast, because I think I had bigger problems with the DCU, but I didn't play it safe, so I probably... I like BVS more than Superman. Justice League, for sure. Man of... Man of Steel, I'd really have to think about. I think they're pretty equal. So that's a good cast. We should probably do that in the future. So yeah, that's my only holdup is if I were to sit down with James Gunn and he said, yeah, I understand your worries, but don't worry. At some point, Batman's going to fight these fuckers. Okay, I'm down. Let's see what happens. Let's see it play out. If it's, hey, we just need
some shows of popular characters and we got some good ideas and I really don't know if they're ever going to fight Batman, then I go, eh, And don't get me wrong, there's tons of other, like even Ra's al Ghul of Brave and the Bold, they tackle the Damien stuff still, right? There is fantastical stuff to do with Ra's al Ghul. There's tons of that. It's just like, these are some big players that I want to see Batman fight, and I feel like they could be being taken off the board a little bit, you know? So Hunter Higgy says, I hope we get Man-Bat Scarecrow in a Victor Freeze movie. Do you mean in the movie, or do you mean they're separate movies? I hope not separate movies. Again, I don't want Batman villains just to
be like, the spinoff factory. Do it after, fine. And with Joker, and even Harley, I understood Suicide Squad, right? With Joker, I understood in the DCU because Joker's been done a bunch. He's such a popular character. You could spin him off and be his own thing. Now, Harley, you could have argued that, but then you look at her movies, Birds of Prey, and what the fuck was the other one? Was it just Birds of Prey? I think so, right? I guess you kind of count Suicide Squad too, but not really. Was there not another one in there that fucking ate it? No, I don't think so.
Just Birds of Prey. I would have thought Birds of Prey would have been much bigger, and it wasn't, right? So Joker to me at that point when they were starting with him as a spinoff away from Batman, I'm like, okay, we've got lots of Joker. We've got, for live action movies, we've got one Mr. Freeze that sucked ass, you know?
But I love Arnold in the role, but it sucked ass. We never got a Clayface, so that's over there. Poison Ivy, we got one that, God, what's her name? Uma Thurrock killed it, but very meh movie, right? We got Bane we got a great Bane in my opinion, but not a fantastical Bane. So yeah, I, for these, I want to see these all. Scarecrow, I'm fine to wait for a little bit. Don't get me wrong. We're talking about Arkham Asylum, thinking about the game. I want the, Batman gets hit and he's seen a fucking, like he's in hell and Scarecrow's a kaiju and all that stuff. Yeah, I want that too. But I'm fine if we wait a little bit because there is ways to do Scarecrow without that, right? And that's why I still said, don't
get me wrong, from a story standpoint, I'd rather Reeves do the core of Alice because I think he'd make that, incredible, but from a universe standpoint, I would prefer the DC where they can be very fantastical with it, right? Yeah, I would love that. Again, I would love the Batman movies. What they, I hope, would do, if James is going to ask me, like, hey, here's five bucks, give me your pitch, I would say keep the world ending, city ending, maybe not city, but you know what I mean, like, huge catastrophes for Batman to deal with in Justice League, and in the movies, I know something like, oh, that's so small, but it's like, doesn't matter, in the Batman, which almost made 800 million, he's just investigating a serial killer,
if he's just trying to investigate, and the whole villain is just man bat, and it's only like, even two hours, it's like, hey, it's not gonna be crazily epic, but we're just gonna make a great Batman movie, where he's fighting some criminals, and he's investigating this fucking man thing, this man bat creature, and that's the big climactic thing, and same thing with Mr. Freeze, like, I don't need a whole movie where it's like, okay, I'm gonna freeze Gotham, if it's just He's the whole story of Heart of Ice, right?
Trying to get the project for his wife and the money. Right there. And even then, too, because if you make them a bit smaller, you can make the budget a bit smaller, too. So that would be my pitch is in the Justice League stuff, that's when he is, there's a fucking nuke going to happen. There's Darkseid. There's fucking Vandal Savage. They're trying to take over and just destroy everything. Gotham, he's just dealing with some small potato stuff. Very fucked up small potato stuff, but small potato stuff nonetheless. Let's see. Okay, we got lots of comments here, so I'll try and buzz through all. Let's see here. Do you see Catwoman not send the Matt Reeves verse when they announce her?
Let's say they did. Like, obviously... Because I do think, Hunter, the plan was for a Zoe Kravitz Catwoman show, right? Where Poison Ivy, it sounded like that might be attached to, but it never sounded like, oh, for sure, that, oh, yeah, it's definitely Poison Ivy, like, in the Matt Reeves verse. So, same thing. I think Catwoman is similar to Joker, and she's already got her own movie, right? You could announce a Catwoman DCU series, and I can go, okay, we've got lots of her in Batman. That dynamic, again, it's not even that fantastical for Catwoman and Selina Kyle. I would accept that and be more okay with a Catwoman show. Yeah, sure, with Sucker, that's not Zoe, but I'd be more okay with that because you can allude to things, and I
feel like there's lots of stories where you can easily have that Batman's fought her, arrested her, and she's out, maybe she's trying to do a better life, or it is like, hey, had a Russian, like, a brush in with Batman, and it's gonna be her little crimes leading up, because again, Batman finds her because she's robbing banks, but most of the time, she's not injecting laughing gas in the city, or freezing people, it's just like, more smaller crimes to start off with, right, so that's where it might not be on Batman's radar, or he's tracking, but it's kind of like the Joker in the Dark Knight, where he's trying to take down the mob first, and he's like, oh yeah, I'll get to the clown, I'll get to the clown, and then the clown's like, no,
you've got to fucking pay attention to me, like, I'm doing shit. So Catwoman, I would accept more. Do you see it not in the Reese's? So do I see it, though? I guess I would say yes, because I just don't see them announcing any shows set in the Reese's anymore, right? I'd be highly surprised. If that happens, great. But, you know, I don't know what's happening. Comic Sunshine says, hello, hi, I hope you're doing well. Let's see. RJ says... Okay. Okay.
Good for you, Chris Pratt. Chris Pratt says, Solve plans to be made for Star-Lord's return to the MCU. Perfect. Also, apparently, Kelly Cuoco from Harley Quinn Ambiance Series wants to help produce the Poison Ivy show to get her production company involved, so that's neat that that ends up happening. Was that, because I didn't have time because I was working on RJ, is that in the actual, if you're still in the chat, was that in an actual deadline article or is that just kind of like a scooper speculation? I'm not saying that would be wrong, but that's interesting. I don't think Kelly Cuoco or Cuoco should be the new Harley Quinn.
I do think they should go Like, not that she's older, but I'm just saying, like, she's in her 40s, right? She's 40. Yeah, like, I just feel like, and honestly, she could be great. I just feel like they're going to, well, I guess you never know, right? I guess if Batman's older, which we don't know, because Gunn has said, hey, things are changing with the DCU Batman. So I don't even know if we're getting an older Batman. But, like, she could be good. I would prefer that more in Elseworlds.
I think you do got to go with someone younger, not for that I think 40 is old. I just look in the way that, the way they cast, and they go for people like, hey, we need someone to do this for 15 years, right? Justin Shields says, at least Uma Thurman won't be the only live-action Poison Ivy anymore. Hey, I thought she did great. I think that's pure writing.
If there's a... So here's the flip. There's sometimes when something happens where if there's a movie, let's say Batman and Robin, whatever happened ended up becoming 80% on Ron and Mia's, and people like it as much as Batman and Batman Returns, which some people don't like Returns, right? But let's say it's that. I think there's a version of that movie where Uma Thurman would still be playing Poison Ivy, and it's great. I don't think that version has Arnold in it. You know, and Arnold can be great, but that's where there's some actors that are only sued for certain projects. Uma Thurman, Oscar-nominated actress, right? She must have got nominated for Pulp Fiction, right? Let's see, Uma Thurman,
let's see. Because I think she was a phenomenal Poison Ivy in, like, a very cheesy movie, right? And Kill Bill, fucking Kill Bill, like, as the bride. Like, yeah, I think she was great in that movie for what she could, being cheesy. I think she could have been, yeah, one Oscar. I'm assuming it's for Pulp Fiction, right? Nominee, 1995. Who did she lose to? And let's see if I even know the role. Supporting... No, Jessica Lange won the... Okay, so...
She lost to Diana West in Bolts over Broadway. Never seen it, so I can't comment. Oh, Jennifer Tilly was in that too. Cool. April says... Yeah. Yeah. And especially for, like, a DC just, like, spin-off film, like, I think that's, to me, that's a win. It's the same way before I said, like, if this movie fails, it doesn't hurt as bad, but if it does well, that is a bigger win. I know, again, that scenario makes, some people might not think that makes sense, but to me, in my fucking manic mind, it does, of, hey, this, like, I think there's a better, if you look at Clayface and you say, is this going to be a success or fail? More people will say fail. So if it's a success, critically and financially, people go, whoa. Clayface. Okay.
And that helps for gun and saffron if they want to continue on. So I agree. Like I was expecting April with some of the critics. like, putting out some of their social media reactions. And then when they dropped the Poison Ivy news, I was honestly expecting a 30 to 40. That's where I was. I thought, oh, that's why.
I think they're like, they've talked to enough critics, it's going to be bad. Even if the thing is, like, positive, I think that's a win for fucking Clayface, you know? Let's see here. Yeah, I can't see the Reeves stuff continuing either. Just due to everything going on, I do think Matt initially conceived a trilogy, though. You have to imagine with the Joker tease at the end. Yeah, it's interesting, right?
So that's where I, in retrospective, I wish, if we don't get a part three, I wish they left that Joker scene in part one because I'm completely fine with Joker just being like, oh, he's Hannibal Lecter. He already fought Batman and he's in there, right? Hopefully, we've heard he's in part two. Hopefully he has a role. I had heard some things that we talked about. I won't talk about here in case people didn't want to be spoiled on stuff. if that role is still happening, it's a juicy role. Um, but that could just be a fake rumor, right? So I don't know. Um, yeah, kind of figured he was building towards a Batman versus Joker film at the end. And I kind of agree, which is funny. Cause I just feel like Matt Reese is
the ultimate Batman fan boy. Right. Cause I feel like everybody in their life has been like, well, next time they do Batman trilogy, you do this to this and you got to end with the Joker. Like, Oh, always happen. Right. Uh, let's see. I agree with this too, RJ, and I think Campy put this out here before. I think Matt has something going on with his contract where he will always be producing with everything Batman related with his production company, so he's a comfortable spot anyway. I won't say always, because I don't think he signed a lifetime contract with Batman.
I love Matt Reeves, and sure, but as a company, back when they signed him, he says, yeah, and the only reason I'll direct is if you give me producing rights to everything Batman going forward. I'd be like, I'm not doing that. Like, especially, like, I haven't even seen the Batman yet. Like, what if it sucks? Like, so, like, I think it's, like, a variation at RJ where I feel like he has that before maybe a certain amount of time or a certain amount of projects, right? And that'd be cool. Like, if there was a way even to, like, let's say Batman 3 doesn't happen due to Matt Rees not wanting to be doing it, it would be cool to have him as a consultant. Like, hey, we're doing this Batman stuff like they did with Clayface. Like, hey,
what do you think about this? What is your test? Same thing. They talked about that they, if it's truthful, Gunn and him agreed completely on the Clayface castings. So that'd be awesome if Matt Reese is involved in the Batman but is around. Because, again, if we get the Batman 2, I'm just happy because all the things have gone down. So if you tell me, hey, we can't do Batman 3 for X, Y, and Z, but Matt gets down as a consultant and maybe down the line doing something, great, sure. But, yeah, I had heard, I think Campy had floated out a few years ago that he said that there was going to be an announcement, but I feel like something changed. But I think there's some people that won't talk about it. I think even
Snyder did too. They've insinuated, like, he's got something with his contract. So good on him and his lawyers, you know? Are you flipping off? I was flipping off. That was my bad, you know? Megal Meesee, hi. Hi. How are you? Castle of the Cook is Poison Ivy. Justin. Where is it here? There's so many clips, I've lost them. Oh, my God. I'm doing terrible. Justin. Oh! Stamper approval. stamp of approval uh not only yes olivia cook is a gorgeous looking actress and to me has like the vibes that she's 32 i think that's kind of perfect age range she's in the hbo family which again notice this has been announced for hbo we had heard this before where they put out the slate all these are going to hbo uh they put the anime stuff on max
and then we heard some stuff the past few months where they're having some issues with some of these shows that hbo was kind of like hey We don't really want to be like the superhero network. Like, we'll take some of these, but we don't want them all. I can see HBO being like, yeah, we'll take the Poison Ivy show. Like, Booster Gold, eh, Jimmy Grodd or whatever, Jimmy Olsen versus Grillo Grodd, eh, you know. So that's where I think that does make sense, and I know people want that quality, and hopefully it's that, and it doesn't even matter. The pit's on HBO Max. We can still make a great show, but we had heard some situations with Gunn and Casey Bowes, or just like the studios being like, I don't know if we want all
these shows, right? But Olivia Cooke would be fantastic. That's a good one. So, yeah, we should definitely do that with the boys coming up on a fan cast thing. Maybe next week I'll ask them. But, yeah, Olivia Cooke. I might have to steal it from you. I'll probably try and think of my own so I can bring some to the table. But Olivia Cooke, that's a spicy one.
I like that. DC Comics announced 2027 will be the year of Wonder Woman. Yeah, Andrea Arona. I got to start saying it that way. Is Wonder Woman? I think so. Because, like, I know it was the comics that announced that, right? But it's just like... Is it because it's like her 50th anniversary or something like that? But it's like, is it really the year of Wonder Woman? There's not even like an appearance buyer. So I think so. I really do. Again, if they're not, it's kind of dumb. So Wonder Woman movie announcement will be during Manitowoc press tour, it seems.
Andrea Arona is looking more like Wonder Woman by the day. I don't think it will be during the... If you mean press tour like after, then sure. I think it will still be... Because I just think if they announce the movie before, but they say Dre is not playing Wonder Woman, it's like, what are we doing here? Just announce her. I think it'll be after. I think they'll wait, and it's almost like this. They'll wait a couple weeks.
If Man of Tomorrow is a success, you love that, boom, we got fucking Wonder Woman coming. If Man of Tomorrow craters or underperforms, they go, hey, don't worry, we got Wonder Woman coming. And again, I was going to say, maybe they'll wait for reaction. I think... Adrea's gonna fucking kill those Wonder Rooms, so I'm not worried there, but I would say if it's a press tour after where they're still making cities and then going like, hey, by the way, we're doing Wonder Room and it's Adrea, then okay, sure, then I can see that, but I don't think, um, I don't think before, but you never know. You never know, right?
I'm not saying it's impossible. I'm not saying it's possible. Uh, let's see here. Uh, we need Poison Ivy, Mr. Freeze, Redemption, absolutely. Uh, I still maintain you could have Clayface, Poison Ivy, and Mr. Freeze work in the Reeseverse, but hey, Um, yeah, like you could, you could always make them work, right? Like Mr. Freeze. Oh, he got infected by this thing. He has been cold condition.
His wife has a thing. He's Robin Banks. He has like a sci-fi freeze gun. You absolutely could. I just felt in for me was always the tone of like, he's doing crime sort of stuff. Right. So it was, I just don't like which freeze could, but like the way he did that to me, remind me of Noel. I'm like, Oh, if he does this, it's going to be in a very grounded way. And I just, to me, like I, I don't know, too, if you mean the actual fantastical side. I agree. So many people have said that.
They go, oh, I don't want the Batman re-inverse to be with Man of Tamora for quality reasons and DC Connected Universe stuff. For the tones, it wouldn't work. Different tones. What? What? That's the fucking point of Batman and Superman. To me, if they were to say, hey, they worked it all out. Rob's excited. Matt's excited. Matt's still going to be directing, but he will be in the Justice League here and there.
I still think you could have the Batman and be that stuff there. So either way, you could make it work in a Reese-verse sense. Or if you mean you could have Clayface, like this Clayface versus Batman, yeah, I think so too. I think people, like, there's many comics that are very dark, down, gritty, and realistic in Batman world, but then it's fantastical, right? Okay, the Kayla Kugel thing was added in another article, another trade. Okay. Uh, let's see. Yeah, Drea just liked... Oh, there you go. Okay, I didn't see that. Drea just liked the post, but she's in Wonder Woman, and they announce the year Wonder Woman. Yeah, it's happening. It's the worst cast secret. It's like Jean Grey and Sadie Sink, right? And that just happens around here. Uh,
where do you want to see Clayface Part 2 movie when they announce it? I don't, I guess. I guess ask me after Clayface. If I love it, because I was one of the completely wrong people that after, um... Joker, and there was whispers of a sequel, I said, yeah, do it. Asterix, I always said to keep it at a lower budget, and that budget ballooned. So I was, those comments, they didn't follow what I said. So if I knew that, if I knew the budget was going to get as high, I would have said, okay, don't do that. Because even if it bombs, if the budget's low like the first one, you'll be okay. It bombed and the budget was not low. But I was the only guy that said, hey, there's stuff you can do in the Joker things. Now, also, I feel like Todd
Phillips kind of made Joker 2 like a fuck you, which was not a good idea, and did not work, and did not transcend, I don't think he cared, right, I don't think the DC is doing that, so, let me see the movie first, Hunter, before I could answer that, because one, I gotta say, do I want a part two, and also, okay, what could we do, is he more of an anti-hero, is he villain, because if he's a villain, I don't know what more he can do, then to me, the part two would be, making him the villain of a Batman movie, you know, which is not Clayface, I guess Batman versus Clayface, but like still, it would just be Brain the Bull and Clayface there, so, I got to see that movie first. So I think you, RJ clarified,
they said, I think you could ground three films or was slightly fantastical, but realistic enough. Yeah. I want to be excited for clay face today and poison ideas, but I'm still mostly really in the closure by where mass effect series going on ice indefinitely or forever. Yeah. We're going to talk about that on Monday. That's a release on Tuesday side quest, which are gaming show. We're going to review Star Fox adventures, which I can't wait. And we're talking about that, but like as a mini blurb. Yeah. Yeah.
Super bummer. Like, that's for multiple generations. Like, obviously, I was never, like, a Dragon's... Is it Dragon Gate or Quest? I don't know. I can't remember. So I didn't play that series, right? But they have other things they've done. But those three... Is it... Let me fucking search it up so I don't fucking screw this up. Let's see. Dragon...
Dragon Age. Dragon Age. I feel like there's sets of people of the last few generations... with Knights of the Old Republic, Mass Effect, and then Dragon Age that many people played them all, right? But all of them have more like, oh, this is where I fell in love with Bioware. This is where I fell in love with Bioware, right?
I fell in love with Knights of the Old Republic. Had that Xbox Go for Christmas. Absolutely adored that game. Played it so many times, right? And then later on in life, I did play Mass Effect. Wow, this is amazing. Never played Dragon Age, but then I've heard many people say, hey, that's my Bioware. Very much like a Fallout, or a, sorry, like a Bethesda, or a Rockstar, where it's like, hey, they make these big franchises, and people may like them all, but they have the one that they glommed onto. And Mass Effect, I absolutely loved. It's not as high as Kotor, because Kotor's like an all-time favorite. Mass Effect was just a great time. And some of the best-made games, right?
So that's where it's, it's so shitty to have like this, like, and it's going to happen, right? I'm sure it happened to all our parents and everything. Like, look at even like Warner Brothers. Like, sure, Warner Brothers is around, but they're not what they are. And that's what happened to our parents and elders where these things you grew up with, like, went away. And that's where we are. It's just social media.
And it's obviously, I think, happening a bit more rapidly and at a terrible pace and just like, just moved by greed. So for me, I, yeah, it sucks. That was a really, really shitty news to see. Yeah. it just, yeah, like I said, I mean, I had more formulated thoughts on Monday when we talked about on SideQuest with Dylan, it just was just a blow, it was just, like, one of those, like, man, Russian memories, all the potential, and even then, I understand that EA got bought by Saudi, a lot of debt, that's why a lot of stuff was happening, but I still looked at Mass Effect as, like, isn't that one that you keep, but no, they want to do, like, the sports games and live services and all that stuff, so they just go, no, no, but
I just feel like Mass Effect, you kind of have to, but, uh, Let's see. It's here Monday, but Matt, uh, the fact by where it's really trying to get back to the roots before bringing many old developers and possibly continue the story at the Lear and Shepard makes it hurt more. Yeah, I agree. Like it's like the Kojima thing, right? It's like they got him at Sony. It obviously was time exclusive, but then they made death stranding and kind of weird games. What?
And then finally, when he's going to make like a metal gear type of game, like, yeah, you can go now. It's like, he's going to do the thing you kind of want, right? But it's all just motivated by money and greed and stuff. And sometimes by our stuff, right? Because the drama didn't sell because it wasn't the greatest game.
So they look at it and go, oh, well, the next one probably won't sell, which you don't know. They could be right, but they're just looking at it purely. When they look at nowadays when it's, hey, the two doors, if this could make money, this could not make money. These big companies are leaning towards the, ah, it couldn't make money. Let's just cut it. Let's go with the one that's for sure going to make money, right? So, yeah, it sucks. And even then, too, they're making a fucking show.
There's a massive show happening on Amazon. Is that even happening anymore? Just weird. How does that affect the KOTAR remake getting affected by this? Yeah, RJ, they mentioned it down here. Yeah, it's outsourced by Serial Interactive, so Bioware isn't involved. Yeah, it's the same thing. It's like Baldur's Gate.
I didn't know that Bioware was involved in Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 because when I saw that, I was like, oh, my God. It's like Baldur's Gate done now? Like, I haven't played that series, but I was like, oh, no, it's is that done? And no. So that's where it is. Yeah. It's, I think Kotar now clay is out of Bioware's hands completely.
I think it's been for a while, but I think it's completely now. It's just that past legacy, but obviously that has a lot to do with it. Right. So, uh, there you go. I'm going to end the show. Uh, I already hear one baby screaming. I don't even know they nap, but they're talking, hanging out, playing or, or one sleeping and everyone's all. So, uh, everyone, thank you very much. I guess it will be back for tonight.
8 PM. If I speak, that's me and Kirkland show that anything's off limits, anything, nothing's off limits. We talk about, pop culture, our lives, politics. It's going to be a really good show. I've got a very fun Kirkland story for you. And then I'll probably retell this Gwen story as well. And then, yeah, tomorrow's Clayface. And then this Sunday is After 9, our call-in show. Join our Phase 2 and up Patreon to call in, and we'll talk about a whole bunch of things. Thank you to everyone in the chat. Thank you to everyone that listened after the fact. And I promise when you hear from me next, it'll not.
