Hello, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to our first episode of Dexter Resurrection Season 2 Geekverse Podcast. I am one of your hosts, the Five Borough Field, Taylor Field.

I'm joined by.

You took my name, you bastard. I'm the Dexter. You said it in the opening. That's fine. No, it's worthy of it. I was so jacked when I heard that line delivery in this first episode. It got me revved up.

Yeah, Dexter, you like your new... Oh, bad accent. You like your new door? That's terrible. Not the best.

Not your best.

No, no.

But yeah, we're going to be diving into this first season two premiere.

I believe we'll probably.

What we do, like, quick, like, overall thoughts, and then we'll break into spoilers. Just going to give you that gauger, because this is, like, the first episode and getting into it.

Yeah, and I'll do plugs....

Some point later on in this episode so without further ado uh gordon you can give like a brief overall like where you're at with dexter that's season one and then dive into this.

One yeah so uh here we are season two dexter resurrection um first season it's interesting looking back on it because like now that i've had the first season coming to this season it's like okay i kind of know what meal I'm ordering, you know, like, I kind of know what to expect, whereas I feel like that first season, there were so many things that were happening, or maybe leading up to moments that I kind of built up expectations in my mind, so that when that didn't happen, I was, like, extremely disappointed of, like, oh, man, I can't believe that this happened, or I can't believe Dexter did this decision, or whatnot, or, you know, like, Angel coming back, and stuff like that, like, just how that

kind of finished, it was like, man, like, what the fuck, what the hell is this show, but It was good times for the reviews. Good times. Like some fun moments to watch. Not necessarily like one I want to go back and rewatch. But now that I have that expectations coming to this episode, I feel like overall I was pretty positive on it. I was also just kind of like happy to be back. I think there is there's definitely some. like an eye roll moments, but at the same time, like, oh man, like I'm, I'm just so pumped.

I don't, I can't remember his name. I'll pull up the IMDb, but yeah, like the landlord guy, Dexter, like, like I just, I was just smiling. And that whole scene, it was funny. It was, it was telling him, uh, well, you know, maybe I'll say some stuff, uh, for, for the spoiler portion, but, uh, do we even do spoiler portions anymore on these reviews?

I mean, I, I think with this being the first episode, yes. Okay.

Fair enough. Fair enough.

Yeah.

For the first episode at least. But, um, yeah, no, I, I feel like overall I was kind of happy to be back. I, I, I think no matter what happens with the season, it's still going to be a fun time just doing these reviews. Um, and yeah, um, I, I feel like there is some stuff story.

I don't know.

I feel like overall I am pretty happy with it. And maybe that is to do with the fact that, like I said, like I kind of have tempered expectations with the season. Like, uh, Like, what really can they do beyond what they've already disappointed me with with this show? Even looking back on, like, the original Dexter to where we are now through Original Sin. Oh, one thing I'll say before we jump into spoilers and whatnot is I found there was a funny moment. It was calling back to, like, Dexter's, like, early days when he was, like, a detective. And I'm like, oh, man, they're just pulling Original Sin stuff in here. We're going to have a fucking... Christian Slater in Flashback.

Where is he?

Yeah, there he is.

Oh, man.

But one thing, too, that bugged me in the trailer, and it totally has bugged me in this first episode, Matt Harrison's hairstyle. His forehead just looks like Megamind to me. Not to go after how he looks or anything. He's a handsome guy, but his hair in this season compared to last. I don't know. It's as if they've aged him 10, 15 years. It seems strange to me. Regardless, I still think it was a fine enough first episode.

Yeah, I agree. This episode, it had me hyped.

I really don't think there's a lot of Dexter that just doesn't satisfy my itch, because it gets me excited, and it allows for so much theorycrafting, and that is one of my favorite aspects of this.

And usually nine times out of ten.

Jonah's coming back, maybe.

Jonah's coming back, yeah.

Nine times out of ten, your theories are wrong, and they subvert your expectations with it just being... completely just mumbo jumbo or random or whatever. Like there's nothing fancy to it. And I mean, there's a rich pool to pull from that they could really deliver on some amazing like comebacks or, or crossover kind of things or like just really play with the sandbox that they have for characters, but they don't. Hence, you know, New York Ripper season one and, and so forth. But yeah, everything that we kind of been leading up to after that first season is it has had me really, really stoked to get this one. And I am so glad that we did get resurrection season two, because I feel like there's so

much more that we're going to be exploring here. And this first episode wastes no time in, um, establishing, okay, what has been happening for the past few months, because not a spoiler, but this is six months after, uh, well, give or take six months after the first season. Um, you got some major life changes with our characters, and yeah, it's just a catch-up of Dexter's been doing this and that, and then it is an expedited episode, because you've got the past, then you've got the present, what's going on, then it kind of sets up what is going to happen in the future with Harrison, and with Dexter, and so forth, tie up some loose ends kind of thing, but yeah, all in all, this was, it had me really,

really stoked, there's just That energy that goes on where Dexter's just a fucking immortal son of a bitch. He just has plot armor out the wazoo.

Goddamn.

I feel like they're maybe showing some signs of that fading a little bit though, right? Like there's multiple mentions of his age. He's in his 50s now. I feel like Harry gives him some jabs in this first episode already for that.

Yeah, he does.

It's called a boomer.

It's called Boomer, yeah, which.

Takes great offense to that.

He took great offense to that.

That honestly cracked me up because it's just incorrect labeling.

Blessing, by the way, is that guy's name, the landlord.

Blessing, yes, that's right.

Dexter.

Dexter. I'm not good at his voice either. Don't you want to change your....

Change is good, deck stock.

I feel like you're getting a little Tia Dalma in there.

Oh, yeah. She's bleeding into my... Bleeding a little bit.

We went out for dinner earlier, and we had fries. We went out with some friends, and I had two Paralyzers, so I'm feeling like the leftover.

Of the Paralyzers. Paralyzers.

What's in a Paralyzer?

You got Kahlua, rum, milk, Pepsi. Yeah, it's such a delicious.

Sounds yummy.

Oh, it goes down.

I feel like I don't normally like Kahlua, but.

I don't either because you can get white Russians. I think I have a little bit clue on there.

I'm not really a fan of that, but paralyzers are like, just they disappear.

Yeah.

Uh, yeah.

Well, let's, uh, let's just get into it then. The spoilers. Where do you want to start?

Um, where do I want to start? Start in five boroughs.

You got, uh, Rapunzel right there.

Yeah, sure. Let's start five boroughs. Um, I kind of forgot. What is this actor's name, by the way? Dan Stevens. I feel like I was looking forward to him. It's Dan Stevens. Yeah. I was excited to come into the season knowing that he was going to be this antagonist or whatnot. For the introduction, I'm really liking it. I like the factor of him being out there in the world to the side of what Dexter's already kind of...

starting to deal with, like, finishing off or tying off loose ends from the previous season, right, with Al, the... What's his name? The Rapunzel killer or whatever the hell.

Yeah.

Yeah, so I do like this threat and how it's kind of like, you know, like Zodiac-esque and how he's, like, playing with the cops and whatnot. It's always kind of fun to have in here. I feel like it's very, like, so far... Like, the way that he's doing it, it's like, oh, it's just that, eh? Like, when he goes up, he's got, like, his meta glasses, goes up, nobody cares.

What?

Just shoots the girl with, like, the silencer, which I'm like, man, like, silencers are not actually that silent. Like, there's no way you'd just be able to just shoot someone, like, right there, point blank, in the middle of the parking lot, but whatever. Yeah, he, like, walks right by, like, right after, like, okay, eye roll-y there, but I do like how that's which is going to be this threat that multiple people are handling, as well as the disco detective. What the hell is her name?

I don't even remember. Wallace? Detective Wallace? Which, of course, we get a disco montage in here, which I was just reminded how much I'm not a fan of that, but whatever. But yeah, her obsession with the Ripper?

New York Ripper.

New York Ripper. And then, yeah, so I did like just how this episode kind of introduced us to multiple factors, even withholding some things back, right? Like there's no Uma Thurman in here. Or, right, she was shown in the trailer?

Yep.

As well as Kristen Ritter?

Yes.

Yeah, so like neither of them were in this first episode. So I like how we... I don't know, just balanced out. They didn't force everything that's going to be in the season in this first episode, so it didn't feel like too much. But I did like overall what we got. And yeah, I like the introduction to the five borough.

The five borough field. The five borough killer.

Yeah. Oh, my God. I had a point to make.

Dan Stevens? Was it on Dan Stevens?

No, it wasn't Mr. Danny. Shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot.

Was it about Kristen Ritter, Uma Thurman? No, no.

It was about... Dexter. Dexter. I think it was about the... Al?

Rapunzel?

No, I think it was about the fibro killer.

Okay.

Yeah, but I'll save that point for after. Yeah, Dan Stevens, I think, is doing a great job.

But I feel like, okay, him just whipping around with a silencer is not anything fantastic.

Oh, I remember it. I remember it. Fuck yeah. Okay. But it's about the New York Ripper. Fuck. Okay, well, we're not talking about New York Ripper. You can go there.

You can go there.

You're talking about the lady detective coming back in and all that stuff.

Detective Wallace.

Detective Wallace, yeah. So I have a hunch.

Because you get to see, you had that scene snippet where she's playing the music and it cuts to a record player with blood on it. And so like, okay, well, she's made a point of this being her passion, like 25 years going after the New York Ripper. So I'm assuming that she lost someone. Maybe it was her parent or something like that to the Ripper. And that's why she's got personal stakes in the line here with getting him.

With the Five Borough Killer, though, I feel like now that because they've introduced Harrison's going to be joining up the force, uh, with the force at New York PD. So I was thinking, okay, I feel like she's, he's going to be working heavily with the two of them. And maybe he actually has a large way of getting the New York ripper and maybe Dexter helps him somehow or whatever. But I think he's going to have a huge hand in actually capturing the ripper.

So, and I would love that. I really, really would.

I did find it funny when, uh, she's like working or whatever. And her little buddy cop guy comes up. It's like, well, now it's that time to pick out the new recruits from the latest police Academy. It's like, Oh, look who I got. It's like former, former suspect. Now ACE police Academy, like whatever the hell it's, it's just so like video gaming in that sense. As if it's like, Oh man, Leon S. Kennedy is, is, is coming to join the homicide division.

She's looking at his stats too. Like, Oh, the mental evaluation. That's great.

Oh, good. Yeah, that scene was just so corny for me, but whatever.

I don't know.

I like the idea of Harrison being a cop going to join the force. I imagine that's going to be an interesting wedge potential between him and Dexter, right? He's already had issues in the past with Dexter's kind of, lifestyle who he is and uh i did find it funny at the start of this episode it just seemed like they're like so like buddy buddy like as if nothing weird has ever happened to the two of them they've been through so much you pay my rent.

You know you pay for this right oh you're gonna sell the house at uh ice lake or the fuck that was you.

Know yeah it's like i'm 21 now can we uh still be in the same phone plan.

Yeah um.

But, yeah, no, I like how Harrison's kind of being handled. And, yeah, I'm expecting there to be multiple... Because he's already missed his graduation, right? Like, Harry even asked Dexter in that scene, like, do you think it was wise to miss that? Like, that might be a moment that gets called back to.

But so far, I'm interested.

Yeah, and I think you make a great point of the conflicting aspect between Harrison and Morgan because, yes, he is a cop, but now he is... he is knees deep in with a lady cop as well. So he's, uh, that's going to be again, more conflict, uh, confliction there. He, the old girl is clearly out of the picture now.

So he's not, uh, not with her.

Yeah. GG. I think it was name or something like that. But, um, yeah.

So I, I, Dexter just, he makes mistakes after mistakes. And I, what I love about this and it's infuriating is because, you can see a million fucking miles away. The mistake that Dexter is going to make. Cause he's ignoring hair, uh, Harry. He's thinking, yeah, I'm going to, you know, um, Minneapolis suddenly like three fucking hours away, 200 miles. I'll just drive there and I'll drive back, make it for the, the graduation. And already, you know, this fucking guy is not making it back. Are you fucking kidding me?

Yeah. And then he's fucking getting high on the, you know, smelling salts on the road. Jesus Christ. You got Batista haunting him.

Yeah.

Yeah.

I did like how the episode started with the two of them, at least. I was hoping for maybe more of Angel kind of haunting him, kind of like how Deb was doing in New Blood, right? That was the name of that show. But yeah, no, I, yeah. That was good stuff.

It was kind of like the Dexter original season one ending in the reverse, where, you know, like.

Good job taking out the trash, Dexter. Like, yeah, Dexter, protecting our children.

Remember the whole season finale of the first season where he's walking into a resurrection?

No, no. The original first season.

Oh, the original first season.

Yeah, you're right. Nice job, Dex. You sliced him up good, you know, and he's smiling. And I feel like that's exactly.

That's a good point.

So he's just fantasizing. He's with Angel.

Yeah.

Angel's like, yeah, we got him, you know, hella weights.

And it's just like when he gets in the vehicle, he like hands him like a sandwich or whatever.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Awesome. Oh, what does he... His license plate, too. What does he.

Like, Harmano or something like that.

Yeah.

Oh, he's just that classic.

Old angel in that sequence.

But, again, conflicted, too, because by the time you get to the end of the episode, he's just like, yeah, you killed him, but what good did it do?

You're disgusting. Even the end of that scene, right? He ends up stabbing the guy, and then it turns into Angel, and he's like, you fucking killed me, you bastard.

I didn't mean to get a gif of that.

There was one man oh my god i actually i meant to capture it and i totally just forgot to but uh they basically recreated this scene when he's wrestling with al with the fucking plastic tarp over his face i'm like why do they keep fucking squishing his face like this like it's so funny i was laughing i totally meant to to cut it out maybe i'll get it ready for next week but um yeah yeah.

That's a good shout-out.

Again, he was so ill-prepared when he went to go deal with fucking Al.

Like, oh, my God. I guess we can go there now, right?

We can go there now. Yeah.

Yeah, so that was obviously a loose end from last season. Well, and Al never knew he was killing the others, did he? I had, like, suspicions that that was going to be something that he... Like, kind of outsmarted him. Like, even when Dexter shows up at the camp, like, I'm like, oh, man, this is not going to go well. Like, Al totally has a one-up on him. But really, all he really knew was that he stole his trophies, right? Because, like...

And I also, like, I don't know. There was just so many moments that I kind of thought it was going in a certain direction. Like, I thought Dexter would have, like, poisoned his drink, which probably would have made a lot more sense, right? Like, he would have been able to take him out. But maybe he's just getting... He's slipping in his old age, just like Harry was questioning. I mean, Harrison was calling it out also of him fucking driving all night to go murder this guy. So easily, Al could have just stabbed Dexter with the needle when he catches it. I'm like, man, this is just so on a razor's edge. This could go horribly, especially like this guy is a serial killer. He will kill you if he takes you down. Overall, it was messy.

Three times he should have died.

The needle, the fucking plastic sheet over the face, and then afterwards being choked to death.

But like when Dexter.

Major plot armor with Dexter here. Major plot armor.

Like he looks over and he sees the mechanical switch, right? So the chains are conveniently right above him. He starts routing it around Rapunzel's neck. And then that switch, it moved five feet fucking closer to Dexter.

I kid you not. Rewatch the scene, man. Use the force.

Okay.

Use the force.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah, and I mean, if I'm choking a guy and the guy starts wrapping chains around my neck, I'm not going to leave the chains around my fucking neck.

I'm going to know something sneaky. Stop it.

Like, something obviously is afoot here. No, this guy's not just going to do that shit just for the hell of it.

So, yeah, he bit the dust. And, again, I really like the actor.

He was great in Modern Family, and so seeing him in this role, it's a change for me after seeing that character. But when he's talking about his family, it's like, you know what the fuck do i care what they what they think you know i provide yeah they do what i fucking tell them.

It was very trinity like right that's what harry was kind of asking it's like this guy's not like trinity at all he actually like loves his family but then like clearly not it was exactly like trinity keeping them prisoner basically yeah 100 um yeah i i felt like it was a little anticlimactic like the way that ended like i don't know i i thought they were gonna make that character a little bit smarter than than how it went but uh no that's that's not at all i like i i thought he would have known that he wasn't red or had some suspicion because they were all dying the fact that he's just like here Like, he's just at this campsite, like, hey, man, I'm just tracking you down, like, where his family is. Like, I

don't know. It seemed pretty sus to me, but, I mean, that's why he dies.

Well, yeah, because I guess at that point he didn't, he agreed to meet Dexter, and then he found his trophies were gone, his hair trophies. And so, yeah, that confrontation, like, Dexter just has, like, bad vibes coming off of them. It's like, oh, you know, a light beer, you read my mind.

Let's meet at this location that's completely isolated that I picked out. Like, man, this is just red flag, red flag. Keeps leading you further in.

Yeah.

Yeah, it's red flags.

Yeah.

What else can we switch off to here? Because, yeah, I guess, I mean, the other two kills that Dexter got, you had the Satanist guy, which, again, Actually, shout-outs to The Conjuring, because when he's got that Satanist guy, the occult guy there, the guy's like, the devil made me do it. I'm just saying, that's the fucking Conjuring movie.

Conjuring 3, the devil.

Made me do it.

I thought that phrase sounded familiar. I remember thinking that movie title was terrible.

Yes, yeah.

It didn't sound as great here. Yeah, it was like a little montage, right, of him taking people out, and then he's got his lucky number 13. So... Is that like in the last six months? Is that what that means?

Lucky number 13? 13 blood slides?

Because that was the 13th kill, right? The Satan guy.

Oh, okay.

And then I guess he's had a couple since then. So like, did he say what his total was at?

I'd have to, I don't think he did. I'd have to look at it.

I mean, he definitely got like the twins, right? The two for one from season one.

Yeah.

Just in that montage of him killing them. I thought he like said, like this is how many kills i have.

He probably did i wouldn't yeah.

I missed it yeah um fucking detective quinn came i laughed so hard when he just walked into the station because i'm just i'm just seeing into the future i'm like man this guy's gonna go out just like angel did last season it's gonna be so horrible.

Yeah, I hope not. Don't do him dirty like that. I feel like he doesn't have all the information that Batista has, right?

True.

Yeah. He just knows, okay, Batista's gone, so something's going to be kind of mucked up here. Didn't Batista take the blame as being the baver butcher?

Yeah. Something like that.

Thanks for just fucking blaming it on people.

Keeps blaming on people.

It's going to be Quinn next. I just laughed also how Quinn shows up and he's like, hey, I'm Joseph Quinn. And she's just like, okay, like, why are you here? Like, just such a rant. Like, I have no idea who you are. Such a random entrance. Like, he thinks he's doing this epic introduction to the show. Captain Mixon is the character's name in here. That's who... Yeah, he's... The captain that comes out and, uh, gives Wallace shit for berating. Yeah.

Yeah.

I was going to say like this guy, man, like every time I see him in something, he's like a, like a goon or something like, like, like a tier two goon. I think he's in Spider-Man homecoming. Definitely. Halo. Something else. So like when I saw him as like the captain in here, I'm like, no, like I don't see this guy as a captain of anything. Um, Nothing against the actor, of course, but it was just funny to see him in here.

Yeah.

Yeah.

That was funny. Cause I don't remember him being in the first season.

He was a shooter.

Was he in the first season? I don't think he was.

No. I don't think he was.

No.

I don't think he was. Hmm. What else? What else? Uh, you mentioned the lady cop that Harrison, uh, was hitting on. Do you like that scene?

Yeah.

In the bar?

Yeah, come to me, amor. He's hitting it off with the ladies.

Yeah, it actually was. It was come to me, amor. They should have played that song.

They should have. That would have been an amazing callback.

Overall, I liked 90% of all the songs they had in this episode. Maybe that's why I was enjoying it so much. The vibes were there for myself from the music.

Do you think we see Harrison's friend, that lady who had the kid that he was really good friends with?

Wasn't that Gigi? Or no?

Gigi was a schoolgirl.

Oh, okay.

The college girl.

That sounds bad. That sounds bad, yeah. Adult, adult schoolgirl.

The adult, yeah.

Yeah, because we were thinking she was a New York Ripper, you know, with Jonah and all the other, and then we thought, Blessing was the New York River.

Dexter. What do you think? Am I overreacting with the hair? He's got such a large head.

I could say something, but I'm not going to say it because it's mean.

That's a funny next image.

I'm excited for him to get the glasses. And that cracked me up when the guy's like, here's your stop. The guy's like, this isn't my stop.

And it was 403 versus 408.

And yeah, the guy just wanted to listen to that shitty music like you were doing too. He's like fucking boomers.

I had like subtitles on too. And it showed like the lyrics of what the song was saying. It was like the most ridiculous thing ever. I don't remember what it was, but if you're curious, go back and listen to it. It's probably worth it. I like how he's like, I'm about to close an $ 80 million deal, and you can't even drop me off at the right spot.

But he's riding in a fucking Uber, and this guy's supposed to be a millionaire.

Like, what the fuck is this? It was such a funny interaction, too. Because even before that, he's like, bro, you got a mint? And Dexter looks at his mints like, no. It's like, why didn't you just give him the fucking mint? No wonder he's going to give you two stars.

That was right after he littered in the car, right? So, I mean, would you give him a mint.

If he's being an asshole? Probably. Probably. I'm a service guy.

Service man. Yeah, that's fair. What else?

I thought there was something else I had there with the Uber thing. I mean, he's still Ubering. He's still Ubering.

Yeah.

Yeah. Nothing going. Because Blessing was the one that was driving the Ubers, right?

He hooked him up.

Yeah, but I don't know if Blessing is working anymore.

It's just a pimp now.

It's a pimp. Yeah, because I can't remember what actually... Dexter!

Dexter. Look at my new door I made for you. I want to see, like, a comparison to last season. Like, is it just, like, they switched the fucking set or something? Like, why did they make that door change? It seemed like such a random thing.

Yeah, well, was it, like, two doors? Now it's down to one door or something like that?

That's what he was describing. I don't remember what the doors were like in the first season. I kind of want to go back and look.

But, uh.

It was just a funny scene because I'm like, this is just such a strange exposition of why this door is gone. But regardless, I did like the scene though how It's like, oh, you should decorate. And then it goes to, like, how Dexter would decorate. And it's, like, bloody rugs and everything.

The splatter.

That was fun.

Canvases. The red carpet. Or, yeah, the red pillows.

I always loved Dexter, too. Yeah, in those, like, dream scenarios. It goes to, like, the person's, like, actual reaction, like, back in the day when it was, like, with Deb. And she's like, what the fuck? Like, pulls out her gun. Get on the ground. And then she should bless him just freaking out. Those are funny moments.

Yeah.

Yeah. I guess shout-outs, too, to the intro.

I think I had it on, like, the background. I feel like I kind of half-watched it. It's the same, isn't it?

It's the same.

There were a couple other things I feel like they added in there and some extra sound effects, too. But, like, yeah, it's a great parallel to the original show's intro. He walks out, throws the garbage bags, you know, and starts to wink at the camera.

Right. Yeah.

I don't think I have anything else aside from that I think, yeah, like I already said, when it comes to the fibro killer, I feel like Harrison's going to be the one that's going to help kind of close that case and whatnot.

I had a random thought while I was watching this episode. You know when Harrison's at his graduation and that, like, Liam guy that he's with that he, like, graduates with? Mm-hmm. I feel like he's going to die and I feel like it's going to be an exciting incident for, I don't know, maybe Dexter's involved in some way. Because I feel like every time Dexter comes back, it's like, oh, he's slipping further onto the bad side, right? Like even Harry has that scene with him of like, maybe I'm just bored or like I want more. It's like, oh, it's a dangerous thing for a serial killer. Like, I don't know. I just feel like that is going to be, like, a major wedge. And for some random reason, I'm just like,

this Liam guy is just going to eat it. Like, why else are we even introducing this character other than just becoming cannon fodder? Maybe it's a Five Burrows killer guy that kills him. Like, I just feel like that guy is going to catch a stray. Maybe we're never going to see that guy again, but I just had a random thought while I was watching it.

No, I think that's a fair thought to have. And I think that's my favorite thing about this is, again, the theorycrafting. Coming up with all these different possibilities.

It's going to be Jonah. Jonah's going to kill Liam.

Jonah, yeah. Jonah's also a cop.

Remember me?

He went to school.

He's also a cop. He takes off the mask and it's a blessing.

Dexter!

Oh, fuck.

You're right.

That is the best part about this fucking show and these reviews is the theorycrafting, 100%. The theorycrafting.

And just the setup, too. And Dexter's... And you know what's coming. When he gets home, he's like, oh, I'm dealing with people all day. Can't I just be alone at home? Dexter!

You know what I mean? He was so loud.

He was. He was.

Um....

Okay, one more thing I will shout out is, so Harrison and Dexter have the phone location sharing thing back together, and so they already used that in this episode, but I feel like that's going to have a play in Harrison disappearing or something.

It's like a low-key setup.

Yeah, I feel like it'll come up a couple times throughout this, especially if they make a point of emphasis in that first episode. It's like, oh, location sharing going on. Get ready. We're going to know who each other is. I like how it kind of backfired on Dexter right away. He's like, fuck, I'm the one that suggested it. Now he knows I drove all night.

That's right. Well, do you have anything else you want to.

I'm all good.

Okay, well. Yes, that is it.

I'll do a quick plug here. Extra Life, that's just around the corner. Oh my goodness, November 7th, ladies and gentlemen. Uh, it's going to be absolutely great next.

That's crazy.

Weekend.

You thought it was this Saturday when I was talking to you.

I did. I was making plans with you tomorrow or whatever.

Uh, next Saturday.

Yeah. It is next weekend. Holy smokerinos. That's crazy.

I did not realize that, but I'm ready for it.

It's going to be a good time.

Yeah.

We're going to play games 24 hours.

We're going to get, I got a goal. Oh, nevermind. I can't say anything. I was going to spoil something. I'm not going to spoil anything.

Uh, Yeah, we're trying to get our goal of $ 1, 000, and then we've got stretch goals on top of all of that.

So definitely tune in. Links below to donate. It all goes to the BC Children's Hospital. QR code. It's taxed right off. QR code to my Venmo. No, not really. Yeah, so check it out. It's going to be a great time. We're all going to be there. The boys will be playing games. We've got tournaments.

Now you and me are doing our Call of Duty match, and Clay called me up. We're going to do a Galactic Racers match against Clay. gonna lose um yeah i think that's that does it uh just check our socials and check our discord we can get a lot more content interact with us directly but uh yeah and be sure to check out the patreon ad free early episodes because there is ads on this episode and they could be avoided if you're on the patreon Uh, without further ado, I think that, uh, absolutely it does it. So we will be back, uh, I guess next week with episode two.

So, and maybe Travis will be with us. Maybe Travis won't. I don't know. The guy's a mystery.

He's probably gonna tell us to start at 11 and then just bounce.

Yeah.

I'm not coming. Actually. You guys didn't do episode one.

You didn't do it with me.

Fucking guy.

Uh, but yes, ladies and gentlemen. All right. Uh, we'll see you next time. Take care. Bye.
