Hey there, fanaritos.
Welcome back to How Rude, Tanaritos. You all had some strong and thoughtful feelings about the last dance and kissing cousins episode, which is so gratifying. Seven seasons in and you're all in for full house. We love it. And love it or not, we really appreciate your engagement. We wanted to call out some of your observations and remind you of one of American citizens' best gifts, the right to vote. So get on out there, people. Yeah. And let's talk about some fanaritos feedback here. Let's start with Brian Swinier. Okay. Brian pointed out that not only was Pam left out of the last dance conversation, but also Uncle Jesse's parents left. He says, like all this pressure Jesse puts on himself to make the arrangements, where the
F are Nick and Irene?
Yeah.
This is true. Yeah. That's true.
Somebody's related to Stavros.
Right.
Why get Nick and I? Nick, for sure, needs to step up. You know, he's responsible for.
For oh right yeah that was uh you're right yeah obviously i mean we thought pam but the the parents of pam and jesse.
Yeah they're still alive they should have been in this episode.
You know maybe they're not and we just don't want to bring it.
Up oh do we have no they are they can someone comes back i think doesn't.
Come back i don't know got me but that's a good astute observation yeah yeah brian you're 100 right yeah.
Okay Again, it's all about Jesse. And yeah, it really.
There was all of the whole budget went into the prosthetic nose. Right.
We couldn't have Jesse's parents on. We could have mentioned him, though.
Yeah.
To see, you know, was it good to see grandma and grandpa or mom and dad?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, that's OK. Moving right along. Yuki Watanabe says that the grief in this episode was genuine and that I couldn't believe it was acting wrong. That was some great acting between John and the Olsen twins. They did an outstanding job. Yeah. Everybody, really.
It was like, you know, one of the first times that we all got to be serious, really, and have like a, you know, a more upset emotion on Full House. Usually, you know, we're bringing some sort of a farm animal into our living room, and this was definitely not that.
No, it was a huge departure from normal Full House chaos. I don't think we've had an episode like that since Mr. Bear, the last goodbye or Mr. Bear, something about when you find Mr. Bear and say, oh, my mom, this is the last gift my mom gave me. Right. Like I think it's the last time we had like a really serious...
episode like this i don't know yeah but you know this was.
Maybe the earthquake episode i mean we've had a few the child abuse episode and stuff but like.
As far as all of us sitting all of us sitting and crying and being emotional like yeah i don't think that we didn't really ever have one like.
That this was this was very well done very well acted well done yeah well done um next kelly schlicht in december 1993 my father who worked for the wisconsin air national guard was killed suddenly in a military aircraft explosion. Ooh, I'm so sorry about that. Kelly, nothing prepares you for that kind of sudden loss at any age. And my sisters and I were really struggling seeing the way the young characters on the show handled their grief and loss was really accurate. I remember watching this episode of full house and it both moved and helped us. Oh, that's such a, heartwarming, uh, and bittersweet story. Um, thank you, Kelly.
I always appreciate the fact that, uh, that Full House, I think helped a lot of young people get through a lot of really painful and uncomfortable times and, you know, and the message got through to them. So yeah, in that regard, like that's, that's the Full House magic.
So that's the Full House. That's the heart behind Full House for all the chaos and, craziness and ridiculousness there were some some knockout scenes and episodes this was one of them I agree uh next Casey Ricker she says after re-watching this episode I realize it doesn't matter how much time you get to spend with your loved ones there's just never enough time so make sure whenever you see loved ones whether you're on good terms or even bad terms make sure you always say you love them because you never know when it's going to be the last time you see them And the note here is that Casey lost her husband suddenly and she has two young boys. So this episode really touched a lot of people. Casey,
our heart goes out to you.
Yeah, loss is such a universal thing. And I think sudden loss in a lot of ways is such a, you know, an abrupt light switch of grief. You know, I think sometimes when someone's sick or older or, you know, there's there you feel like there's I mean, you're never ready for it, but there's at least an expectation or, you know, what the road ahead is, you know, looking like.
And when it's just sudden, it's it rocks your world in such a way.
So it's yeah, this this episode really touched a lot of people. And it's it's wonderful. It's bittersweet hearing these stories. So, yeah, thank you, everyone, for sharing them. Annie Kate did some research for us in the Kissing Cousins episode. It's the third lowest ranking episode of the entire series. And even the unaired pilot with John Posey ranks higher than this one.
Wow.
Yeah.
Oh, my gosh.
It's Seacruise, Stavros.
Seacruise and Stavros.
And yeah, there's another one in there. I'm sure that we were forgetting as far as top three worst, but maybe we haven't gotten there yet.
We still have season eight.
To get through.
There's plenty of episodes to go. We still got about 24 episodes to really jump the shark.
It is.
But yeah, it was such a terrible episode. It was terrible. It was so bad.
Yeah, I'm glad we're not alone. Sometimes we get roasted when we disagree with the Fannaritos.
I know.
That was definitely a hill I was willing to, you know, go the Papooli way with. I was going to die on that one and be like, no, this is a terrible, terrible episode. And there's nothing redeeming about it.
Yeah.
So true. OK, so though John played both characters, he had a body double named David Dean. So he could have someone to talk to in the scenes that both Jesse and Stavros were in.
I feel like that name sounds familiar.
David Dean.
I mean, not like recently, but I'm like, oh, yeah.
OK, I remember like his name. Yeah.
David being around as the the other Jesse, you know, to be.
Yeah.
The backside of Jesse, you know, over the shoulder. Jesse, you're Stavros. Okay, well, that answers that question. Bethany Valente says, in my everyday life, I still say microphone.
Microphone. The microphone. Microphone, like Stavros.
And whatever floats your tuna boat.
I mean, I'll take those.
Yeah, microphone is a good one. And yeah, whatever floats your tuna boat.
Which.
I don't know what that means. Let's move on to the next thing. Yeah, let's just move on.
Katherine Monaghan. Monaghan?
Monaghan.
Silent G.
Monaghan. Silent G. Yeah, yeah. Can you not read? Are you? Do you read?
This is what happens when I read cold. When I read cold, I don't read ahead. I'm just, I don't read.
I don't know.
So, Katherine Monaghan. Silent G. She says, I actually love this episode, minus the pass Stavros made to Becky and Jesse's awful reaction. It was fun seeing John playing another character.
I agree.
Absolutely.
Catherine, bless. I don't agree. I don't agree. I don't agree with that at all.
I agree that John did great. John's acting was hysterical.
It was ridiculous. It was something I could have done without.
You know?
Yeah. I love you, John. But yeah, I think it was... Okay, that's okay. But Catherine, there's, you know.
This is the beautiful thing about America is that you can like that one.
You can love that one. That's great.
And we will support you in that opinion. Well, maybe not that opinion, but you get it and it's yours.
That is your episode from here on out.
At least one person out there enjoys the Stop Rose episode.
Catherine, how do you feel about sea crews? Like that is another burning question I have for her based on her taste.
Oh, we need it. That needs to be a question we ask the next time.
Is what are your worst three or five Full House episodes?
Yes.
And see where they compare.
Yeah.
Okay.
Instagram listener Crane says, this is the only episode of Full House I will skip.
It's so bad. Crane, I'm with you. I'm with you. I get it. This is our lunch table, Crane.
Yep.
Yeah.
Yeah. I agree.
I mean, Catherine's now sitting over at a table by herself, but I'm really sorry, Catherine.
We still love you, Catherine, even though you have a bad opinion. But you can't sit at our table right now. You can't sit at our table.
Yeah. Not if we're discussing Full House. No, you gotta sit across the cafeteria.
Um so that's it.
For our uh listener comments about those two episodes we.
Love hearing your uh opinions you guys though because those again uh were two you know the last dance very impactful episode and followed up by uh.
One you'll never forget for a whole different reason.
A hot mess. A hot mess of Stavros episodes. Just a hot mess of Stavros. But yeah, we love hearing your opinion. We love knowing what you guys think, you know, what your best episodes, what your worst episodes.
Yeah.
I would actually like to know, like people's, what are your bottom three?
One of the bottom three.
We won't take any offense, but one of the bottom three.
No, no, no, no. Yeah, I think Sea Cruise. I think universally Sea Cruise.
Sea Cruise is, yeah, yeah.
Nobody likes Sea Cruise.
Yeah.
Stavros.
Stavros might be a hit or miss, though. You never know.
Hit or miss. You got the Catherines of the world that love that episode. That's true. That's true.
That's okay.
That's all right.
But yeah, we'll see. I'll be interested to see what they pick.
But one more important thing to remember, guys, coming up November 3rd, it is Election Day in the United States. So please, please go to the polls. It is our right as U.S. citizens to go and participate in our democracy. And it is important to let your voice be heard. Whatever voice that is, you know, we... Not every country in the world allows that, so it is something that I've always taken very seriously, and I hope you do too.
So please, go participate in our democracy. Go, vote, get out there, vote, do the thing. And yeah, I.
I'll be voting by mail. I'm finishing up.
My ballot tonight.
I'm going to walk our ballots over today because there's a ballot box right at the end of the street.
Love it.
It doesn't get more convenient than that, people.
It's true.
Find your local ballot box. Show up in person.
Whatever you want to do. For your kids.
I used to take my kids to the polls when they were littler. They loved helping me vote.
It was great.
And now they vote themselves. They're adults. Yeah.
Yeah, really important. Wear your I voted sticker. I have mine. I have mine.
I voted.
I'll wear it on Wednesday. I have it stuck to my forehead right now. Perfect. For those of you that can't see it, which is probably everyone.
Anyway, you guys, thank you so much for joining us for a fun mini-sode of craziness.
Mini-mini-sode.
Yeah, it was a mini-mini-sode of fan comments, and we loved it. So remember, go out and vote November 3rd. Come back next time. Follow us at HowRudePodcast. Email us at HowRudeTanaritos at gmail.com. And we will see you next time. And remember, The world is small, but the.
House is full of ballots.
It's full because so many people are participating in democracy.
It's just full.
Love to see it. Yeehaw.
All right.
Bye, y'all.
Bye.
