Reality with the King is hosted by me, Carlos King. I'm an executive producer who have produced some of your favorite shows from the Real Housewives in Atlanta, New Jersey and my own creation, The Love and Marriage Franchise and Bell Collective. Every episode, we recap reality television from the Real Housewives Franchise to The Bachelor or Selling Sunset, in addition to celebrity guests, whether in the unscripted space or scripted as well. Hey, rain Drops, listen, we kept our word.
We are reluctantly because of course we were like, are we gonna watch another summer house reunion? Okay, aftermath, whatever you wanna call it, but listen. I'll say this much. I am glad I watched it because Blue and Jasmine I have this to say.
I'm here under duress.
That's what I got.
Just continue, sir.
I'm happy I watched because I'm a mother lover Hubbard. Lindsay needs the host Love Island.
She needs the host reunion to Andy, you are so wants your job.
No, let's get listen. We'll get it right into it. So this sort of like aftermath. I like to call it the Final fourth because it's sort of like the fourth episode of the reunion, but it's the final aftermath of where these people are in their lives. And it begins with Amanda and Lindsay and listen, Lindsey and we talked about this last week, ladies, how I was as a producer so curious why they left, Lindsey Shade telling Andy I learned nothing throughout this reunion. Now we know why because they flashed back to that, and we do see her talk to Lindsay. Starting with you, jas Man, what were your thoughts on Amanda and Lindsay's conversation, especially when Amanda, I'm sorry when Lindsay said the focus of
the reunion was about pretty much U Wes and Sierra and it wasn't about our friendship. So I want to address our friendship.
Well, so a lot of the chatter about Lindsay. She got into some trouble on Threads because she was talking about how Amanda has been manipulated by West and so people are like, Bravo is trying to create this redemption arc for Amanda. Lindsay's a part of it. Now, Amanda having a redemption arc. I can't speak to that, but what I can say is Lindsay and Amanda have been working together for ten years now right we're on the ten season of Summerhouse. They've been in each other's lives for a really long time, and Lindsay even said to herself that they have like a sisterly relationship, so like at times they haven't gotten along, they've argued, but they're so friends at the end of it all who have shared in this unique experience over the course of ten years.
So it isn't shocking to me that Lindsay still wants to be nice to Amanda. Like I feel like, I feel like people are like upset with Lindsay because of that, and I'm like, that makes sense to me, Like your friend did something shitty and shady, but like you're not gonna just stop being her friend. So I think Lindsay I don't know if she's trying to create a redemption arc for Amanda, but I do think that she wanted Amanda to come on and say more than what she said at the reunion for her own sake, because we didn't get anything out of Amanda at the reunion, and I don't really think we got much out of her here blob.
I think that's a really kind way of looking at it. And here's the thing. I'm a Lindsay fan, and I think Lindsay's full of shit.
Don't think friendship has anything to do with this actually, And there's a couple of lines that were like, oh no, this is not about French abt all got it. It was because Lindsay and Amanda were not always cool. Lindsay and Amanda only became cool when Lindsay went through a bunch of breakups and then Kyle was positioned as enemy number one. And as you can see is in the city, as you can see in summerhouses, you can see in this four part sequel watching Lindsay has a tick about men taking advantage of women and it's not personal, and it could be a stranger you've seen in the city, right And in the city she met a girl thirteen seconds ago and it's like, why are you moving across the country for him?
Though, if he can put a ring on it, Lindsay's.
Yes, whether she likes you or not, she don't like men taking advantage of women.
It's like a tick for her.
Right, So, Lindsay and Amanda's relationship, even though they've done for ten years didn't actually start until the Kyle Takedown started taking wing because beforehand it was a man. It was Amanda Page and all the popular girls actually enemies to Lindsay. They were always attacking Lindsay. Lindsay was a nemesis.
She became a friend of me during the Kyle Takedown. My belief strongly because I watched it twice, y'all know, I got a little tick. My belief strongly is Lindsey. And she even said it in the the third reunion. You're fucking up our spinoff, bitch. That's the old I don't think Freshman got.
Shit to do with this. Bitch.
We just became friends ten minutes ago because you convinced me we were taking down Kyle starting spinoff. Why are you fucking up? It was giving very Chris Jenner. It was not giving all. I care about my friend. I want her redemption arch Liter. You don't give a fuck about manager destroct. She wants Amanda. She knows Amanda can't leave for in the city to.
Succeed, but west King.
That's why she said, and I quote and this is the moment I was like, oh, Lindsay, you crafty bitch. I love you she said, Amanda, you blew up your fucking life.
You were winning.
That's not about friendship, bitch, You're fucking up the program.
We were winning. Pronouns matter, she said to you. But she may knows. Gema needs bottles, Gema needs diapers.
Bitch, get rid of West so we can get She literally said, get rid of West so we can get back on track to the program's talk about the friendship. Lindsay wants her job, baby, And you know what, I'm not mad at it.
I'm not mad at it.
I can agree with that pov as well.
It's so funny how we can watch the exact same thing and come away with completely different life points of views.
Though I've been engaged to Leo's, I think that's why I'm looking at her like this. I know I know Leo's in particular.
Yeah, and but that's that's the thing that I've always said about Lindsay, Like the show comes first for her. Like when I call Lindsey performative, she's putting on a performance because she wants to have a good show. I'm not a super fan of Lindsay, but I respect her position. She's a really good reality star. If she wants to stay a reality starr, So I one hundred percent agree with you that she is just like girl.
Yeah, we are.
Cool, and I don't like that this man did this to you. But don't fuck up this back because look at this fat ass crib that I'm living in. Look at my apartment, bitch.
Wow, way amazing that.
My first note like, oh, Lindzay's getting paid.
New York. First of all, I love us for real, Hey, Monk Marble the right.
Yes, the waterfall islon the fact that the three of us, by the way, Rain John Ja, I know this.
We don't talk to each other about the show before we do this, so you're catching this in real time. But the fact that the three of us walked away with the same thing, like Lindsey's crib, is like awesome for New York City crib and the marble in the space Juxtaposa gets Sierra Ship, Lindsay's.
Rich, two bedrooms, her daughter has her own bedroom in her New York City park in New York City.
Baby, No, no, it's not Texas. It's New York City. It's different.
It's wild. Because listen, time for our shot of the day drinking game. Carlos saying, you know, I'm a first time watching the show.
You're thirty seven episodes in how many times?
So what I will say is I knew too when Lindsay made that comment you're winning. I was with Jazz in the beginning watching it, thinking like, oh, Lindsey's a good girl friend. Da da da da. But that soundbody that Blue said, I too walked away saying, oh, this bitch is like girl. This is about the show, and that to me makes sense as to what happened with West, which we'll get to in a second, but I want to get to Amanda because.
I felt that Amanda was trying to at least be present and the reunion.
I told you girls this before. I felt she was too prepped by her PR team. She gave absolutely nothing. She left for an hour and she just wasn't there. And this one she says she lost her help in her marriage and had to find herself again by hanging out with Wes, and that West brought that out of her, which I thought was so interesting, and to me, I think it's bullshit. I think it's the opposite. My opinion is I think Amanda went after West to Spike Kyle and I don't believe for a second that Amanda is innocent and West coming on to her and texting her and see, I said, no, I can't make it. I kept saying no to him, but he kept pursuing me in a group chat and I gave in.
He pursued you in a group chat.
That's not Yeah, I did not buy that. But Jazz, did you buy what Amanda was selling?
No?
But I think it's because we know at this point, like what Amanda is, as Blue pointed out to me, Amanda is what is it? A covert covert narcissist. So I was watching her tears and I was just like, m girl, I'm not You're not gonna you can't.
Trick me, Okay.
But I think to your point though about Wes making her feel young or something, I do believe that because West.
Is for everything you can say about Wes. He likes to have a good time.
So if she felt like she wasn't able to do that, which I don't know how she couldn't get that with Kyle because Kyle literally lives in the club. That's That's what her issue was with him, that he was always out. So I'm like, was it just because West has younger friends. I don't know what that was about, but I don't I think she was telling the truth about like the way she felt, especially coming out of a relationship if in her words, she it was toxic, she didn't feel loved.
And then this other god, this fresh guy is giving her some attention. So she was probably telling their truth. But was I buying it? Absolutely not?
No, no, yeah, I agree.
I think she was telling the truth in the same way she she was telling the truth, but she said we have sex. Ass to the statement, which statement is.
Half truths.
Yes, true is a whole lie? Okay, Amanda the God, She's a case study. The thing about Amanda that is so interesting is I think, first of all, you left the reunion and then spent like two weeks in Italy West and his friends and family kissing him, eating noodles like the Lady in the Tramp, and.
Then came back right, So this is a little rich.
What I think is I think we were watching the battle of Lindsay and Old Amanda versus Lindsay and the real Amanda. The old Amanda, her and Lindsay had a kind of a Maya kopa where we've decided that We're gonna Takekyle down together and go into the sunset and are spinoff, and we're gonna be two girls in the town right with our exes Kyle and Carl sometimes popping in.
That was the Vernon Shirley plan, right. Lindsey kept on saying, and I quote, so he manipulated you, And she's like, I'm not saying that. She's like, but I'm saying that Lindsay was trying to spoon seed her those lines because there's one part of Amanda's brain that understands Lindsay and I have a great business model, and she is right, we could go far with this if I have this redemption arc. But the other part is thinking about whatever happened after she ate the pasta in Italy with West and she still wants him. So you see her doing this thing where she's playing along with Lindsay a little bit like, yeah, you know, he pursued me. But as soon as Lindsay's like, so you're gonna leave him, right,
she gets quiet again. She wants her KK eat it too. She even admitted it. She said, I wish I could fuck fuck Sierra. I wish I could have both. I wish I could have Sierra and West. Are you crazy?
Are you mad?
And what's nuts is the truth of her statement was when she said I felt young again. I think Kyle actually unintentionally cracked the case. He said, and you're standing over there with like the younger version of me. I don't think she was finding herself again.
I think she.
Found a newer, younger model, like Leonardo DiCaprio. I think Wes is cop baby Kyle, and she's like, this model has run its course.
I've lost control of him.
If I pivot to the new model, I get to be young and fresh and fix him the way I fix Kyle, which is why she even said I told him we can't date unless you promised me. You're firstborn. We're gonna get married, we're gonna have babies, and we're gonna buy three houses. She's doing to him, literally a copy and paste of Kyle. I think in Amanda's mind she liked that Wes could be a younger Kyle. But also to your point, Jasmine, stick it to Kyle, because that's your homeboy. I'm replacing you with your friend. I think both her and Wes both wanted to stick it to Colin Sierra, which is why seeing Colin Sierra come together, it's kind of beautiful reckoning for me.
No, it's really fascinating to watch because one of the things that even gagged Amanda was when Lindsay said, oh, well, Wes said you were obsessed with him and that you had a crush on him and that it was all you. And then that's when Amanda visibly looked shocked, like he went against the script, and then she started to slightly go against the script because us Blue. You mentioned, I want to say in our last recap or the week the one before that the timeline of the divorce separation statement being released, which was on January seventeenth, but that two days later we learned in this special that on January nineteenth, No, I'm sorry, I'm sorry IM missed that up.
Sierra saw Amanda be a location on the iPhone at West House on January seventeenth. Two days later is when Amanda released a statement along with Kyle. So I thought about that moment and thought about what you said, and now, to me, you are right and validated in terms of she rushed that announcement because two days prior to that, Sierra found out you was hanging out with But.
Did you guys clock that she tried to clean that up when she was like, we were over.
There as a group. Yeah. Yeah.
She even said, and here's the thing, you had three weeks in Italy to come up with this. In West and what you came up with this Tell them there was a group chat and you were so sad you finally showed up to the function. And that's why there was a dot next to my house with your face on on Sierra's phone. The fact that you could tell the conversations that happened in Italy. I've been in Italy.
There's plenty to do other than talking about Bravo. Right, y'all could have been in Naplesy in fresh pizzas and shit, look at the leaning tower of pizza, y'all sitting there scheming and conniving.
I think, I honestly, I will say this, though, and I don't want to jump ahead.
There was a moment during West and Kyle's conversation when and I think I wrote this in caplocks, and yes I did.
I'm so fucking dramatic.
In cap flocks, I wrote down, Oh my god, the scheme would have worked had they not been caught. Kyle is still falling for it. I do think that had they not been caught and been forced to rush love we talked about last week and this whole I'm so sad Wes has been my friends for three years.
It kind of just happened a couple of months after the fact.
They would have moved the timeline six months even further, because they've already moved into six months. They would have had in another six months to it been sympathetic, and we saw in Kyle's face when he talked to Wes. He was like, I love her, I will I'm not in love with her in one more I will always love her. And I loved you like a brother, like a friend, and now I'm torn because I want you both to be happy. But I don't that Kyle, with six more months would have fallen for it. The plan actually would have worked.
I think they.
Properly clocked their friends, they improperly clocked the audience, and Sierra's a private investigator.
Yeah, if it worked, I actually took.
The planet is better than we thought. I want to give them credit.
Something that Amanda said that I just am I don't want to say I want her on TV because I want to see how this plays out.
But she said something I know that bad to say.
I mean, I'm on WES.
I'm I'm pretty indifferent.
Right, I want her in another season in the Summer House for sure, because I need to like see how that plays. But in the City, I couldn't care less about that. But she was saying that she has been she's been with Kyle for ten years. So she was like, she hasn't dated since she was twenty four, right, she's thirty four now.
And Lindsey was like, why not do that now?
Man?
Like why not just be single in date? And Amanda doesn't know how to not be in a relationship. But since Amanda stopped dating so young, like, you know, your twenties are for like having fun. I'll leave it at that. Okay, your twenties are for having fun dating. She's been with this man since she was twenty four years old. Now she's thirty four and she's in another relationship. When this relationship with West fails, I am curious to see, like what version of Amanda we will get if she's still on TV, Like, is she gonna go boss to the wall and like do all of the crazy stupid shit that she should have done in her twenties, or like, what is she gonna be? Like, I'm actually curious about that, which might be unpopular.
I'm not curiously because black women and white women go to college for different reasons.
We were just talking to my homegirls and I was talking about this yesterday.
I can go to college because we want to be amazing, We want to make our family's proud, generational.
Wealth, all that good stuff.
White girls a lot of times, particularly in places where Amanda is from, like New England and Old New York are very similar, right, and Amanda comes from a family that has money. The thought is they call it the missrus degree, the r R.
So she I think, I'm.
I never heard of that. What does that mean?
The ruse? That's what I went to college for.
Yeah, so they think you're.
Conservative, right, because the m rs girlies, honey, they go to college.
You're not supposed to bring that up, right, No, no, no, no, no no no.
No it's not no, it's not That's.
Why people think it's not what I am.
She's not said my word. I have the Cuban tongue I talk. I said, that's why they think you're conservative. But no, but seriously right, Because when you see someone like Jasmine who looks like she pays her taxes on time, has a nice quath, did her baby hairs, You're thinking, Oh, you're going to college, You're gonna get you a letterman's jacket and a husband. Right, My dumb ass is like, I want to rule the world like I'm not thinking about a nigga like that.
I'm trying to have a whole phase and have me some fun.
I think Amanda is the Mrs Degree girl who her saying twenty four she was gonna always want a man of twenty four. She happened to get her big fish on TV. I think for her, she's going to always want to have a project to fix and to dominate and to be sympathetic. And now she has added incentive of being addicted to the attention. I don't think Amanda wants to be a whole I think Amanda wants to be a part of a lineup on Bravo and will constantly like chat and what's that man's name? There's one man from Southern Charm, the one who was in Page who flows around every show. Yes, Craig feels like he's gonna show up on every top type of show child anywhere you invite Craig, He's showing up a black Piper
round opening.
He's showing up right.
I think a man is like Craig, where she will show up where ever Bravo will have her, and if there's a man attached, because she knows that whenever she's with a man, people are really interested in that. More for the course, I think she's gonna be with Wes until West gets rid of her. There's a zero percent chance of her leaving him. He even said to Kyle, I kept on saying, are you sure you want to do this so soon after and she kept reiterating that no, she wants to do this. I believe West, broken clock, I believe West. When he looked at Kyle like man, I thought about that, you need a breather in between relationships, and she was like, now let's do it.
I do believe that to breathe. I actually believe it because you've seen how persistent she is. She will nag and nag, but she will yeah.
Yep, yep, and that's low key. That's how she got Kyle. She just kept coming around, kept coming around, until Kyle was like, okay. But since West is now allegedly persona non grata at Bravo, he's allegedly fired from the show, do you think that Amanda? Do you think the appeal is still there for Amanda because you said she wants to be.
A part of the lineup on.
I could do.
I just started watching the show. But yet, no, she is not averid.
Okay, listen a moment's silence for my pain. I just started watching you motherfuckers, and and and I don't get to see the ending of this destructive relationship that that was not going to last is not going to last. And the thing is West was listen, I'll give Wes this, oh, and don't jump me. Wes looked cute in this little recap.
Saying this, because I was thinking, and I was like, I'm I'm never going to say this should all?
But I was like, I'm I can I saw. I never thought we was ugly, y'all. I'm from Boston. West men about almost called the N word. Men who looked like West do very well in them circles. But I never thought he was ly.
I never thought he was cute. I was like, you get all these bad bitches. But what the Rick Ross is going on here?
Rick?
I did a stud who looks at acts like West, so I immediately understood white biracial shout out to Sam from DCY.
Like white girl. No, she literally looked like West.
She was a blonde like you know, golden retriever who kept on sticking her stuff and everybody and then putting.
It back in her backpack.
I'm done. I'm done. I got I'm done.
You asked a question.
I just okay. Thanks for the visual, Beyonce. I thought West I was watching like this, oh and I kept I'm like, oh look girls, no shame. I said, this is so bad. Give a fuck, girls, I said, I get it.
I can't like like like Amanda.
I literally mixed Sierra. I get it, Siara, miha, I get all of it.
I at it.
You look good, and you know, I think Kyle is the most gorgeous thing. Kyle looked like it wasn't. It wasn't getting me, kend Doll. I was Wes, you know what it is, which is so bad, girls, But we're gonna be honest and trust me, I'm the nice guy. So I hate saying this because this is my category. Because Wes had that little bad boy swag.
Oh y'all don't understand the way that this works with men and studs is that what you do is you're disheveled on purpose. I have a master's in this. I have a mrs and this. So what happens is they come to you like a little way where dog, I just want tom married to hug me and rub my belly, and you're like, oh, I'll take you in, poor puppy, and then you start feeding it, and then you feel bad for because it's gruffy, and next thing you know, your pants are gone.
It happens very quickly.
No, seriously, it's a very endearing way to get women, and it works because it goes from pity to entrigue to I can fix you to oh my god, only you understand me. Even Sierra said he was my best friend. That is the language of a woman who's been groomed by a fuck boy. We're all their best friends. We're all their best.
Friends, and we need to get into that because.
My y'all, like, I'm the one who's been through this. Can y'all just tell me that you've been through this too?
No, because we discussed this in the last three capsoys, okay.
We've been here before.
I said, there's there's men in my past that if they come out and say no, they haven't right like, they could come out and be I'm like, I don't know that man, never seen him, never met him.
I was married. Now, that's the thing.
Everything in the words of Drea.
In the gay community, you know this blue, there's tons of boys.
I don't know him. I don't know her child.
I had to get rid of one two years ago. Anyway. So one of the things, anyways, one of the things I was to talk about was Lindsay. First of all, I felt like Lindsay was there to humble Amanda and to be like, bitch, snap out of bit.
You fucking up our career from West it was I can't see that. It was very.
It was. It actually was. So she tells Amanda that Wes called me how today on the phone and said they had sex in March while y'all were together in February. So guess what that means. He already cheated on you.
She said that.
But Amanda is never gonna give the reaction that we want in that Lindsay want, because Amanda has dug her heels in like they have been found out. They have to stick together. We keep using the same analogy. Your mother hates your boyfriend, Mom, I'm in love with him. I'm gonna stick beside him. You can hate him, I'm gonna love him him. Okay, that's that's Amanda in West right now. So Lindsay like clocking that and being like, oh, he slept with me, how and you in the same month.
He already cheated on you.
Amanda was never gonna give her more of a reaction than she gave her because she doesn't want to show like, oh yeah, he's already making a full of me. Like he's already making a full out of me. She was never gonna give anything.
She doesn't want us to win. I think the word of the I circled it. I said the word of episode four was who's winning?
Everybody?
Fuck feelings, fuck relationships, fuck love even we all care about who is winning. Lindsay wants to win the ratings. Amanda wants to win on the top of all the other pigmies who have tried and failed, Like, look, you don't understand nobody could get Kyle to settle down.
Look I did it.
Okay, I'm the f boy whisperer. This is two point zero. So Amanda wants to always be the queen of the pigmies. So she's trying to win against every woman who's ever slept with West before her. Right, Lindsay is saying, but he's a fuck boy. His penis is small and he cheated. She said, but that's my small penis, fuck boy, damn it. Okay, it's mine.
Remember that God the episode when Bill Cosa said who brought him? He's mine? Right?
And so Amanda will go down with the ship. I have no interest in pondering is she gonna leave him?
She's not right?
What's would have to get a restraining order, and even then she might cross through a window. Right, Kyle breaks my heart because Kyle is a different kind of golden retriever. He's the older model. Even seeing him in West together, I said, oh my god, if Amanda was Leonardo DiCaprio, sudden, this all makes sense. You're looking at your old work who's getting gray hairs now and not as fast, and you're looking at this new young buck that you can ride into the sunset.
This is so obvious. If the genders room were completely reversed, and.
Then we see Sierra and Mehi, And the thing I will say about those two girls is those are the kind of women that Wes.
Likes to break, would never settle down with.
And I think Sierra ate when she said if he does settle down, it will be with a woman like you who has no voice and simply wants to win and have him. I think Sierra's prophecy is coming true before our eyes as we're watching part.
Four, No, and even Sierra admitting that secret sex is hot, you know what I mean. I'll say this, watching Sierra, I saw a different side of her that I was like, Oh, I now understand how you fell into the trappings of a fuck boy, which we've all had, right so it's no shade to her. But I remember telling you Jazz that I think she's gorgeous, and it was something about her lack of confidence that I saw without the glitz and the glamo, that reunion and all of that stuff, that seeing her her natural habitat in that moment, I said, Oh, you remind Wes is the white Stebe j Yes to my White listener Stevie Jason. Love and hip hop and he brought a woman's pregnancy test that she peeved on earlier in the day and showed it to her and
feel without her Hey Jocelyne. Okay, So anyways, stebe J said to me before that men can spot a woman who has daddy issues or who is it as confident and they play in those tropes. And seeing Sierra at home because once again drink time, I just thought of watching the show. So I'm seeing who Sierra is without the reunion glam. They're actually taking shots. I love it.
I saw like normal Sierra, and I said, oh, Wes, Wes. Wes knows what he's doing. He knows how to get these type of girls you're describing to mi Ha and you. Unfortunately, Sierra were one of those girls, and Amanda is one thousand percent one of those girls. Mih is literally one of those girls. And it all made sense to me in that very moment.
He had me at the house waiting on him while he was planting seats with Amanda and giving long, lingering hugs to Sierra, and all three of them liked how secret it was. Well, Sierra says, secret sex to sexyem until somebody fucks your boyfriend. Right, you're at your friend's best friend's ex boyfriend. They are correct when you are dating a golden retriever slash. Oh my god, he's so wounded.
I can change nobody else can, just me and my magical Puss. Part of the appeal is the privacy. We could be in the same room, but nobody knows, the deep soul question conversation we had about your father last night that had you crying in my arms. I just don't know you're doing it with another girl two weeks from now, right, I think it's our special thing, and so I think this capsule of not sincerity, this capsule of intimacy, felt intimacy that Wes creates.
We even saw him created with Kyle.
Even after West has been caught and we all know what's up, we're watching him. It's so natural to him. He sat with Kyle and within fifteen minutes, Kyle's like, man, I don't even know how to feel right now. You keep looking into my uns and if I want to hug you like he he is a siren. Right, Amanda's a sucubist and he is a siren. They actually liked them together because they deserve each other just keep me getting each other miserable for the rest of your lives.
Even when Kyle and West were sitting there, even I was like, is it me or doesn't seem like Kyle is gonna bless this? Like it felt like Kyle was going to give his blessed would have worked.
Yes, Kyle was sitting there.
He sounded like Amanda's father or her big brother. He did not sound like her ex husband. But also rewinding back, when West walked into Kyle's house and the dog was right there and Kyle goes, have you been here before? And Wes is like no, And Kyle's like, are you sure about that? And the dog just new West.
I was like, she's acting like she knows you. I caught that you jazz, Yeah, y'all are dog is acting like she knows.
You a mess I've missed that part. Damn.
It was literally when when West walked in, he put his hand out to the dog. Kyle goes, have you been here before? And West was like nope. Kyle was like, are you sure about that?
Like I'm not buying.
That's when I was drooling. When West walked in. I was on my computer, Typh.
You were feeling his jeans with his bigug a pill.
Carlos, you're showing how this works too.
When they're a scruffy dog, any cleanup makes them look attractive all of a sudden the bar so that all it takes to some ivory soap and a little bolderant and you're like, oh, is that James Bond?
No, because what have you been saying? He looks like he doesn't shower. You saw him looking freshly.
He just showered, Carlos, look at you, You're right in the face.
Because but that's why I love the thing. Listen. Always tell people this reality TV is nothing but the master class in psychology. It's it really is about human behavior, and the reason why it's such a big genre is because we can all definitely see moments of ourselves in these people or people we know, and that's why it's relatable. Yes, West looked good as fuck.
And I'm like, not good as fuck.
From Italy.
I I was looking at the beard and I'm like, then the GRAMA had with the matching jacket, I'm like, yeah, you know, I'm like meha, I understand. You're on the phone with this motherfucker for six hours after the reunion excuse me. Even Sarah Gattin said.
I thought I was dumb, but you like bitch, you like Sierra's.
Which I believe. I believe Sarah's like I'm off the train, and I do. I believe wholeheartedly. She will never, ever, ever, even so much following him on Instagram like they're done for the rest of their lives. I think she looked at me, how like, oh, bit, you stupid. Six hours after I called you in my dressing room after reunion, you mean to tell me we're dragging this motherfucker? You hang up. Two hours later he calls you and you go, hey, chilling nothing?
What did mean?
First of all, you, saund just like that you were a bird? What that came a little that came a little too easy.
Carlos, I dated a brother, okay, because.
That's a bird behavior that you stepped.
And here this is this is how much of a message I am.
I'm over here like, yeah, do more. I get it. I have to stop.
You're showing the bird wings feather stopped. Okay, this is Kingdom Right Entertainment. I'm like, Lindsey Man, just come back to the program.
I am lisdy, carl come on, does that does that make that jazz.
Is Kyle, I'm rooting for you.
Just rooting. I'm rooting for all of you. I don't know how I should feel right now.
I feel I'm just gonna cry and go drink a lover boy.
But lady, ladies, explain to me, and this is why I love again. We talked about a psychology of these people. Explain to me how a woman who just got played was on the phone with the other woman who got played. Y'all are bonding over trauma of being played. The bad boy in question calls you after the reunion and you stay on the phone with him for six hours. I need to understand, ladies, the psychology behind that.
It's like a bonding experience.
And let me tell you that I have done this more times than I am proud to admit. Yes, one of my closest friends to this day we met because we were beefing over a guy back in the day that day, Okay, and now that's my girl, right, so likes it brings women together. Unfortunately, right, like, we literally have never like talked about or like thought about that guy in like over almost probably twenty years, right or fifteen years. But it does bring women together. So Mihi and Sierra sitting down. At first, I was like, this is so lame, and then I had to be like, bitch, you, it's only lame because you feel like you're above it.
Now you've literally been that, You've literally done that. Stop being so judgmental. I was judging it because I saw myself.
I know that's how you got.
They're bound of self reflection you can have by being married and saying that because I would have lied, I'm like, I don't know what they're talking about married, So no, honestly, you know what it is. And I love how they had the proper language. They said, we're trauma bonding, and that's the accurate. People misuse this what all the time.
By the way, trauma bonding does not mean you went to the bathroom and you and a stranger are bonding over having bad access. You just two unlucky bitches, right. Trauma bonding, by definition, is we're bonding over a trauma that we either made each other experience or that we experienced together. So they actually are bonding over trauma. And women do this not because they're lame, even though it's easy to think that it's because when you're being gas lit, it takes someone else saying it happened to me too for you to recognize you didn't make it up. So it's almost like perception, like, oh, if it happened to her, that means it also happened to me. So when you are with the situation where you're being gas lit, hearing
another woman say you're working like, oh, so I'm not nuts, somebody else thought this. Somebody else who didn't even know me thought this. Somebody else who wasn't even involved with me, who doesn't have any incentive to life for me, also experienced the same thing. So it's a way of stabilizing psychologically.
So it actually is really healthy when women do this. I will say this though, as far as me have been on the phone with them for six hours. Listen to the chronologic of this. Wes said you won, which means he's stroking you again, right, He's saying, oh, you won. He put the tip in yeah, Because what happens when you say somebody one is you're bigging them up like you got me, I see you, you got me? And what does Sierra say that Wes always does to destabilize you.
He makes you feel as if he doesn't see you. For you to surmise that I have won, that means you not only see me, you admire whatever maneuvering I've done socially. Right, So first he says they won, I mean you won. Then a couple of days go by, she says, Then they get on the phone and they start talking, and she's thinking, he's back to being the dog who's eating out of my hand because I won.
I'm back to being the master. He's back to being the disheveled puppy.
Right.
It makes her think that she's back in power the whole time he's playing her. And even when Sierra says, how did you stay on the phone with them for six hours, she says, well, we have to be on the phone because since Amando, we can only talk on the phone now, which means he's already positioned Amanda as an albatross and them as allies. This motherfucker is brilliant.
That you won was not him conceding. It was him setting a new trap for her, and it worked.
Which is why I don't believe as a small penis because I don't understand.
No, it's usually the ones with the small puss who do the best you have to out of necessity.
Because when they wake up from this, they're gonna be like, I let him do that.
And he didn't even have a you know what I'm saying, So he couldn't.
Find the whole of the guy who did it to me? Child, He didn't know where he was going. Like, it's usually men who are not great at sex who are great at this.
Dropped two weeks ago.
Yes, and what did they say about that celebrity that we won't mention that he must be an eater?
We all know that you compensate.
Blind people can have impeccable taste and smell and other senses.
Right, if you suck at one thing, you have to be exceptional in other Look at Jasmine's face.
Because I'm drawing a blank. Okay, please thank you, because I'm like, which celebrity is this?
Oh? Really, thank you?
We don't want to look right now.
Okay, yeah I.
Did. I did that.
Just that came in with both fit.
In the palm of his hand, and he had money left over for.
His k He's this age and that's how they become so charming, Like you have to have to gap.
Yeah, yeah, it was wild to me, and even the whole thing about West not being on the show anymore, I do want unpack that, because you too brought up something earlier that I want to get.
Back to, which is was this special really for Amanda to be seen differently, to Save in the City, rite the spin off and in order for that to happen. Do you think the powers that be thought this cannot happen without Wes being gone from the show because there's so many female viewers and we saw with Sandoval on Van der Pum Rules that scandal sadly ended that show.
Do you think that Wes got fired or do you think Wes was like, I don't need this shit and I'm out.
Wes will never just walk away from TV.
Everything that we know about Wes, I mean, I don't know him personally, so I can't say that definitively, but he does not seem like the type of person that will willingly walk away from an opportunity to be on people's minds and have people watching him. So absolutely, I don't think West walked away. The rumor is he tried to get Carl, Lindsay and Kyle fired from Summerhouse, so him and Amanda could just stand, you know, at the forefront of everything, and that's why he got fired. I don't know all of this. Bravo has not come out to confirm any of this. I don't think Wes has confirmed any of this, so I don't know if this is one hundred percent true, but everybody has picked it up, so I'm inclined to just kind of go with it
at this point. But like, that's the rumors that he tried to get the OG's fired and that's why they canned him. The other people have been saying it's because he was like trying to discourage people from watching this part four on his podcast into that. I say, you guys hate Wes, so you're you're purposely trying not to get the joke that he was making. He was just saying, like he hopes the Knicks has another game so that people will be more interested in the Knicks winning than like him. You know what I'm saying, like still trying to gravel because of this scandal. It was clearly a joke, So I don't think that's why Bravo fired him, But who knows at this point, who knows?
No, no jas nail that I totally agree that it's not in his DNA to not want to be seen. Even when a man that ran off crying for an hour, he said, is it my line?
Like, is it my turn?
Yeah?
That man know is not trying to leave the camera. I you know what's tricky is I believe West has been fired as of right now. I also believe that Bravo is showing their hand that they're heavily invested in online chatter in a way I've never seen before.
And oh, yes, they are not to cut you off. I promise you they are, which I.
Don't like though unprecedents and I've been watching Bravo from the beginning. This is an extra They must have new staff. This is an extra layer of pressed that I've never seen them have. And I think that's part of why we got part four. It wasn't just the protective franchise. I think whoever is pressed about Twitter and TikTok and threads and Instagram is also like, oh, we have to have a part four to address all the stuff they're saying on the block. So I think number one it was somebody a Bravo cares too damn much and wanted to respond to us directly, because half of those conversations felt like I respond Even Threads got a shout out.
What did Sierra say?
She said, my mom had to text me, Sierra, You're done on Threads And I was like, no, I'm just getting started. And she was like, no, you're done. So I was like, well, then I'm gonna have to block you so I can do what I need to do. I need to do these cartwheels, right. Like the fact that Threads is getting shout outs shows you how pressed they are. I think they're trying to protect whoever's ego is attached to the audience. They're also trying to protect Summer House because you think about it. Having Me how and Sierra talk makes Sierra feel better about coming back for that one more season. Having Lindsay and Amanda talk means that both Summer House and In the City have a story arc, right, and then having and Kyle talk
almost feels like, Okay, well, now that Kyle has resolved his storyline, whatever he does next on In the City or Summer House, we now can move on. It felt like they are trying to keep all the franchises afloat, and they knew they had to get rid of West, because I do believe that the rumor that Sierra was like, I'm never talking to him because Sierra's disdained.
You can taste it through the screen. Yes, there's no lawyer, there's no Nda.
There's no amount of zeros that can get an Earth signment's foot off your neck. Once you have ever fucked up, Sierra will hate this man to the death. Okay, I'm a tourist, I understand, right, and so I think it's doing a lot of things that once. My only point of contention is I worry about the safety of whoever returns to Summerhouse because this season was not safe for Sierra.
In retrospect, I fear that the season.
That's coming up won't be safe for a lot of people, depending on what story Bravo decides to invest in the edit.
I think a lot of.
People who are fan faes, who are not a story, who are more B and C story, might be collateral damage in ways they're not expecting. And the one thing Bravo needs to remember is this is probably the one group on Bravo, even more than Atlanta Housewives, that are real friends in real life. This is the most authentic friend group on the whole network right now, which means the things you could do in other franchises, there's gonna be a ripple effect that's going to be too emotional.
Guess what was the group that was that was even more invested vander Pump.
When they're real.
Friends, you can't produce your calls. You know about this, You can't produce it maneuver in the same way because they take it home with them because they're real friends.
Yeah, listen the distruction of vander Pum rules because I watched that entire season due to scandabal And were you new there too? No? No, yes, you only come from the mess Carlos. No have we met? Hey, nice to beat you. Yes. I watched like the first two seasons and I fell off the grid. Scandalma happened. I'm tuned back in. I remember watching it and what's the damn? This is so fucked up? Out of mind? No me. She was the face of the show before Areanna got cheated on.
La La La La. Yeah, that's.
Yeah, Sina deserves better.
She was always decided I always the show when Lana when she said and I will never get this line, she im like she's bet because she got cheated all like, bitch, are you kidding me?
Like so, I have never met a woman who gets cheated on and then gets treated like she's God.
That's what she did.
A lie.
No, that was all facts. And I'm as you and a producer, and I remember watching you guys thinking to myself, y'all are going to ruin this show because La La LA's saying is we have lost the plot. The reason why people love VPR was because we were real friends, real issues. We followed each other and we literally bled for the audience. We gave them everything. And I think when ari Yanna drank the kool aid, she definitely felt like, I ain't gotta do shit. Bitch's my show now, and the other people around hers the kind of way. So to your point with Summer House, listen, they're real friends.
You can't play with them the same way.
And and and that's why for me, I think what's dangerous is when there's ultimatums. But I'm not gonna do that, and it's sort of like and that's why. Look, I'm not here too to tell Sierra what to do.
Right.
My only thing for Sierra that I would say as a producer, because I've trust me, I've seen I've seen it all. I've seen women on top of the world crash and burn, right, I've seen women have big momentums after a chinging scandal, crash and burn. So my only thing for Sierra that I would implore her is I do hope she did not give an ultimatum. Turns out I won't film with him because I'm gonna tell you there's two different things. There's a difference between I won't speak to him versus I won't film with him. And I think the mistake that Arianna made was her and Town were still living in the same house. Like girl, we can't get nothing from y'all too, y'all actually live in the same house. And I believe as a producer
who has been given ultimatums, I know that once you're in it, you have no choice. But Kim and Nini, for example, I ain't fiking that bitch. You can't help yourself once you're in it. And yes, that's different as friends not lovers. But I just don't want Sierra or any of these people to lose multiple opportunities because of ultimatums.
And That's where my mind went too when this West thing came out, Like if it was because Sierra said she didn't want to film with him, I don't think any one person on an ensemble cash should have that much power. Like at the end of the day, this is not a show about one singular person. Like, yes, you guys are gonna have the biggest storyline going into the season, but this is a show about a.
Group of people.
So to your point, Carlos, yes, if you said, I'll film, but I don't want to talk to him, I don't want to have any conversations with him. Please don't make me, don't force us to have any sit down or anything like that. I could live with that. But if you were saying I won't film with him, and then if Bravo conceded to that, I don't like that. I don't like that because the network has to remember they're in charge.
I have a question, and this question is very nuanced.
So the point I agree with both of you right for Sierra, very specifically, and this is not me caping for to me understanding the difference between the ultimatum versus a mental health boundary. When the New York Times article came out. It caused Sierra to get hate mail, death threats and caused her psychological trauma.
She was the New York.
Times article when West basically came out and said I never really wanted her.
They overinflated the relationship. Why am I? She's not my person? So he denounced her in the Times.
Paul Paul blew.
Because you're probably wondering, Carlos, how the fuck did they end up back talking again?
Like?
How did she end up almost following for it again? After he went to the New York Times and sought the world.
We're not each other's person.
I'm not into it like that, and you still ended up so because the girls want us to email when I'm like, how do we even get back here? You shouldn't You should not have been talking to him again period after that.
But pause, though, no, no, no, this is actually your point. This is what you're saying is actually why I'm disagreeing with you, and cross this point on this point, right. She did what y'all said, though the way it got back was she said I won't speak to him, but I will film with him. So she's already given y'all that. Ah, So now that I already got clowned in the fucking times with getting death threats, and I ate crow let him be around me, and him being around me made me even more fucking unsafe. Now I'm wall sliding outside and sobbing in the streets. I don't have shit left for y'all. Oh yeah, a right to say, yeah, she did it, she did it that way already, and it got ten times worse. Like this happened like two years ago.
And the thing is, Seever was told, we'll tell him to leave you alone and y'all could just be in the room and he won't talk to you.
And that worked the first year, but by the second year this year, he weaseled his way back.
Once you tell me you will keep me safe, and you fail me, and the second time is ten times worse than the first time. I'm allowed to say, I'm not fucking filming him anymore.
That's that's she played ball, Sierra, you're my client.
You played ball for two years.
That's that's Valuablue.
Carlos and I I think our producer brains are like at the forefront a lot and we're just like, what is the what is the move for TV?
Like, what's gonna make the best.
Team coordinator who's like everybody's safe though getting sued.
Yeah, and I don't want to speak for you, Carlos, but that's how I look at it, like what's gonna.
Make Yeah, no, for sure. But also I didn't have contact, Like I didn't know an ultimatum.
Again, it's a boundary.
I'm just watching the show, so I didn't know the context in terms of the New York Times on the couach, she already gave one. She she took one for the team, and he did this to her. So with that being said, I now get it. I totally get it, and I do think this, I do think dangerous. I would say this though if I was producing Summer House, this is what I would not that I know that, So this is what I would have done. We all know unofficially that In the City was created because Summer House was about to die, right, Like, I think that's pretty obvious.
It was petering out.
Yeah, yeah, it was sort of like, let's spin off these people and whatever. With that being said, what I would have done then, now that I have the backstory, I would have used Wait a second, and.
By the way, In the City is couples only. That's why Sierra and them can't have a main role if you're not in a couple.
That was part of the problem. No, it just hit me, what everything semantics. He's fire from Summerhouse. It doesn't mean he's fire from appearing in the city.
He's already in the city. Yep.
Because the statement from TMZ or the statement that TMZ got from this spokesperson or person closing the situation, the door is not closed. Yeah, they specifically made sure to put that in the door is not closed. That But that's why I twittered. I was like, we's this going to be on the Traders? He will be on houseI villains like, he's not, they're not. He's not persona non grata from the network in real life. It's just like right now. But again, to me, I don't. I just don't think that network should be giving audiences this much power.
And I say that as an audience member, but like, once you start doing stuff, because we as an audience are saying it like you lose control of the show.
Well no, and I I agree with that as a producer too. And listen, I will say Unfortunately, there are networks blue Clock that there are network people, whether it's the intern, a PA or an executive.
They're pressed who really do read Twitter.
I know for a fact that there's people who look at Twitter to make casting decisions of who gets fired and me hire next season. And I'm like, you mean the one percent of the population on Twitter gets to decide the fate of a person's reality career. So I do think this. I wouldn't I wouldn't mind seeing the West Amanda Kyle thing on in the city and have Summer House Vcierra's vehicle with Mia the rest of the guys and the dying vehicle.
You're giving her the dying ship.
No no, no, no no no no no no no, it's the thing. It's the thing. Sierra being on Summer House makes more sense to me because I think based on what you said, with with what she has to go through with West, having the ultimatum take them on from the team whatever, I think telling her, let's bring on your friends some people and you get to see like a light happen because Martha's.
Vineyard Black People is gonna be upset because now it's it's just turned into Preston show that got canceled.
Now you don't turn summer House into Martha's vineyard.
Child water come on and want to house slowly. Because I trust Preston, I would call him and be like, boy, if you don't call him people and get you a car, had your black ass over there?
The question Ray John, if summer house turned black, now you.
Go and say, you know what, We've already done this. I love it's about to be so plain. Someumer house Kyle's can be like, hey, guys, what's going on here?
No, Kyle likes the blacks though Kyl's Kyle is low key eating us, and I like, can we talk about that?
But and Carl Carl is cool with Jasmine in silence.
Carl and Kyle both like chocolate, so they wouldn't mindset of my house black bringing.
Some of the mothers been your folks said, hey, listen, all of this is so genius and we're not even producing the show.
But you need to be though, y'all always avo. You need to invoice the brival because you know any watching this right now, shall or or or the anter who watches trying to the press. In turn, I was trying to, you know, root for you because I can see you.
U huh interesting. Okay, okay, go ahead listen, all right, we may have just started something fresh and new for the Summer House and in the city world.
