All right, Raindrops, Dustin and I are back to recap episode four of Ultimate Girls Trip. Dustin.

That's right, yes. I know.

I know we have to wait.

Till the moment comes, but can we at least start by acknowledging... that this is the episode when Nene returns to Bravo.

We'll get to it in a second.

Yeah.

It was a moment for people who have been fans of the Real Housewives of any city, really.

It was a moment.

And you felt it no matter what your opinion of Nene and some of her actions or words may be. I think it was unanimously felt across everybody that watched that show at everybody was happy to see Nene back on their screen. It was good, felt good to watch her and to hear her voice, hear her talking shit again on that TV with the Bravo logo down in the bottom of the screen.

It just looked and felt good. It was a good moment. Felt good, man.

It did, it did, it did.

Okay, so Raine Johns, we're going to get to that moment. But first, listen, the Ultimate Girls Trip episode four, the.

Ladies are in Atlanta, okay?

Yes. It's going to be a drag brunch and an alter ego party because they have to, of course, acknowledge the amazingness of Derek Blank.

Yes.

Season two, introduce the alter ego photo shoot. That is super iconic.

So that was the reason that Atlanta was always going to be the special episode in the first place. So much so, we get two episodes of Atlanta.

So can't wait for that.

Um, one thing that arose as the ladies were talking about Lana, which was nice to sort of hear everybody talk about like their favorite moments from the show. Giselle being like the biggest fan of Atlanta, giving Mimi her flowers, Sharae, Cynthia, um, all the girls are doing that. Lisa Barlow's like Sharae, who's going to.

Check me, boo. Everybody had their moment.

Kim Zosiak and her cigarettes from Kyle. Then we cut to Vicki Goverson who says she's never watched an episode.

I told y'all. I told y'all.

I told y'all, niggas, quite literally, what Vicky was about. She also, this episode in her confessional, said when she was talking about her look.

Being Jackie O or whatever, which....

Anyway, but when she was talking about her look for the alter ego party being Jackie O, she was like, you know, back in the 50s and 60s when everyone was so perfect.

I'm a black American, okay?

And everybody wasn't perfect in the 50s and 60s. So she just lands. She's tone deaf on top of being dumb and stupid. And so that is a toxic combination. Because I don't even think her old ass is even trying to be as.

Off-putting, we'll say, as she is.

But she is very off-putting for Black people that watch her on television.

I didn't like it.

I didn't like her swooning. Why was Yoni so beautiful to her?

You know, let's talk about that moment right now because I got to admit that, you know, when Vicky met Nene's on and off again boyfriend, Yoni, they've been dating for four years.

When she first sees him, she says he's dapper looking. And then she started swooning. He's sexy.

And you just saw like this very interesting side of Vicky sort of getting a little bit horny for Yoni.

It's cringy. What?

She's not hot. So hearing her talk about sex is gross. You know? It's tough.

Tough watch. Tough, tough watch for me, man. It's a tough watch, Carlos. It's a tough watch for me, man.

What makes it so tough?

Her face and her jowls and her hairline. All those things. It all makes it tough to watch.

And her.

I get sick of all of that. All that goddamn hooting and hollering and shit. You know how a kid is being bad and you have to tap that hand.

Stop it. Stop. That's what I'd be wanting to do to Vicky. Stop. Stop doing too much. Oh, shoot. Okay.

And she wouldn't have had to tell me but one time to leave her alone. The way she did them about that coming and hanging out in the room last.

And she only kissed Nene's ass because everybody else was. And she just didn't want us to have everybody against her.

Exactly. And so is she. That's right.

So, Dustin, in lighter news.

You know, it was nice, like I said, to see everybody really talk about their favorite Atlanta Housewives moment.

You are a historian.

What is Dustin's favorite Atlanta housewife.

Moment of all time? I can tell you right now. I can tell you right now.

Really?

Sharae's car park, Sharae Spade's party when she was dating Dr. Tai and everybody clocked in. Mama Joyce asked, you got it online?

All of that. Nene narrating the story.

Uh candy and then being competitive with the spades nini the way that she was reacting to dr taiyi that scene is my favorite scene from the real housewives of atlanta it is because it has everybody when they were asking him questions and and the way that nina you ain't got to get the film be getting defensive now the way that they were talking to him and then it was, I love it when everybody is on the same side against the outside force on shows like this. So, like, all of them, similar to when they got Yovana's ass in Toronto in season 12, right? It was one of those moments where, like, everybody band together. Even if they hated the fuck out of each other, they was all on Sharae's side.

You know what I'm saying? Trying to figure out who this nigga was.

And Mama Joyce, her asking the questions she was asking Miss Lawrence, asking the questions he was asking and making faces and reacting to how Dr. Ta'i was laughing and shit. That is just, that's peak, peak Real House Cynthia. It's peak Real House Lisa Wu. It's peak Real Housewives of Atlanta for me. That's just for me. Now, there's been a whole lot of other unforgettable moments. Unforgettable moments, but on a personal level. That was a black ass episode.

And I love that. I love that.

So it's funny, since we are talking about Atlanta and we are talking about moments, I have some behind the scenes tea for you that never made air that happened.

It's funny. You know what's funny? How everything comes for a circle.

So what we're going to see in the next episode is Lisa Wu confront Nene at the alter ego party.

So that's next week's episode, right?

What happened at that space party is Lisa Wu took NeNe Leakes outside and they were talking on the front porch step, like how we do as black folks.

In the hood. Yes, yes.

You're on the porch, right? They're on the porch, Lisa Wu and NeNe.

And let's just, so Lisa Wu felt that NeNe was acting funny towards.

Her because her star was rising and she confronted NeNe on it.

And Nene was confused. And Lisa Wu wanted to, like, get a.

Lisa Wu was getting aggressive with Nene.

Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.

Like.

Like getting booked.

Oh, she was... It was like this. And Nene was giving it back. And she said, are you really trying to do this? Mm-hmm. Like, Nene broke the fourth wall.

So she was like, you're trying to get back on the show by arguing with me or whatever.

Yeah.

Because Lisa Wu left in season three. That's when Cynthia and Phaedra came. So she, I remember now, she just was at the car party. And it was like, oh, with Lisa Wu or whatever. But so that's what she did. She tried to start a drunk ass argument on the.

Front porch with Nene again.

So what you're telling me is that history is repeating itself next week.

Yeah.

They said she was in her cup.

In Atlanta at that alter ego party, they said she was deep in her cup and that she tried to start some shit with Nene to get on camera. And they said Nene, and you could even see it in the preview for next week. Nene was like, you want me to say it again? Nene was doing what she does, being dismissive and minimizing her.

And I don't know why Lisa Wu thought that that would work.

We will see what happens but I have to tell you that moment because I think it's hilarious it is hilarious we get to sort of see like round two of it a little bit and how it all.

Comes full circle so why didn't y'all put that in the show why didn't y'all put that argument in the cut I.

Think what happened was if I had to be a guessing man I think it was so and again this is season three and at that time you.

Didn't break the fourth wall yeah yeah yeah I think the.

Fourth wall was being broken so much because Lisa's issues with Nene was all about Nene's... Who Nene was because.

Of the show. Okay, and I get it.

That was the entire argument, right? It was only about that. It wasn't about, like... And, like, of course, like, everything that surrounds it. But that's why season four.

When Nene and Sharae got into it about Tyrone and the party promoting... That's why they never broke the fourth wall fully in terms of Nene, Kim, and Sharae was supposed to be on a flyer promoting a party because they were celebrities. They had to give a little bit of something. But the year before that, you did not break the fourth wall. At all.

Wow.

So another producer question now that we over here. I felt like and I feel like.

Uh-huh.

You know how when you let a kid do something that they want to do, but you really didn't want them to do it, but you're going to let them do it under some conditions, right? So you had that talk with them. Look, you take your ass in here. You go, you don't go this way. You bring all this with you and then you bring your ass home.

I feel like that's a conversation like that happened either with Nene and herself or either with the producers and Nene because we got her boyfriend, a life update. Check in on how she felt about not being on the show. A link, some in common with her and Kyle.

All in this one. Nene, I mean, she really brought.

Bags to the show. You know what I'm saying? She brought stories. She brought everything she needed. I mean, she literally maximized her conversation on the show that was going to be aired. You know what I'm saying? And I feel like somebody had a conversation with her like, look, you can do it, but you're going to have to let us know who you dating. You're going to have to let us know what's been going on, how you feel about being off the show, and then your ass can film. I feel like one of them conversations was had.

What do you think, producer?

No, it wasn't.

I'm going to tell you what, in terms of, and listen, Raindrops, the Patreon exclusive you guys get, just know on tonight's Monday Night Live, me, Claudia, Dustin, and Blue will dive more into it. So Dustin, I'll give you more Okay. In terms of some insight, in terms of why Nene did it. Only because Nene said it publicly, that's why I'll share it. But I think to your point, first of all, it wasn't a condition.

I can tell you that.

I definitely think Nene in that moment, it was the opposite. I think those girls felt, let's get everything out this bitch because we just don't know Really?

Okay, okay. That's what I'm going to do. Okay.

That's why, cut to, obviously, Nene pulling up her Range Rover, rolls down the window and says, welcome to Atlanta, bitch. But also admitting Dustin, she was nervous. And, you know, nervous seeing these hoes and they better be nice to her.

She's going to read them. I think Nene came in.

Nervous about the reception because when you saw the chyron at the bottom of the screen when they put NeNe Leakes and her tenure on the show, seasons 1 through like 7, 10 through 12, season 17 just wrapped, so that's five years of her not on the show anymore. It made you realize that, wow, she really has been on TV.

Not TV. She has been on Housewives in five years.

Yeah. She ain't been on TV in five years.

She did College Hill, Dustin.

That don't count.

Dustin, it was on TV.

But we talking about Nene. You know what I'm saying? So that don't count.

We're talking about scripted roles because she's an incredible actor. She was so fucking good on the new normal. I'll say that until I go out of here. She was incredible on there. She was incredible on Glee. She was great in Cinderella on Broadway. Nene can act.

And she's good at it. Yes.

And yes, when she was on Broadway and and she was good on she had a guest scene on Clean Sweet.

Was it called? It's a show with Laverne Cox.

Yeah.

Laverne Cox and George Wallace. It was a Norman Lear project, one of his last projects. And Nene had a cameo on an episode.

Not George Wallace. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, no. God, no. No George Wallace. I don't want him cussing me out.

That's why your ass ain't got no.

I don't want him cussing me out. But yes, Carlos, she was great on that. I want to see Nene acting. Fuck trying to be back on the housewives. Like, Nene get back on primetime television and the sitcom acting and doing your thing back in her comedy bag. That's what I want to see her do. do some movies and shit. Like, you know what I'm saying? Start acting, Nene.

This is Reality with the King, and I'm Carlos King. Let's get back into the show. Now, listen, you're not going to get a different opinion out of me.

I feel the same way.

But definitely seeing her be honest about being nervous, I appreciated that.

Yeah, it humanized her.

We haven't heard from her in a while.

So, you know what I'm saying?

Hearing her say something that's so honest and vulnerable like that, it made us soften up for her.

You know what I'm saying?

Like, damn, I don't know, it just made me feel, I just felt connected to Nene again in a way that I haven't in a long time. When I saw her on the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls trip this past episode, it just felt good to see her and I felt myself rooting for her again and I hadn't felt like that in a long time you know what I'm saying so I just want to see her back in her bag doing what she does and she's an incredible actor I just want to see.

Her do more I definitely want to see her do more too which is why my hope is that this will be the beginning of a lot for her.

The fans happy. I know the network is going to love that. The fans are happy as hell. We happy.

I think this episode and next week's episode, the numbers are going to be, in my opinion, I see these two episodes being the highest rated of all the episodes.

And for Nene, now, honorable mention, Candice Dillard. because Candace, Candace, I think is going to give us what we want in this Atlanta episode. I cannot wait.

She said to me in my interview with her that we would not be disappointed.

Also, we got a lot of shit to talk about, so fuck all that. What was up with Giselle? I didn't like what she said to Stacey. That was crazy to me.

Go ahead. At the fucking costume party, at the alter ego party. Girl, who is you? Stacey was like, I'll give you a hint. She was like, you know, she started giving her hints and stuff. Robin, you see this shit? This is the ugliest shit I ever seen, whatever. The worst such and such. Look at what she got on.

It was just like rude as fuck. Like blatantly.

And I'm like, I don't know why she thinks Stacey won't cuss her ass out because Stacey will do that. And so I don't know why Giselle was. It just there was no funny edge to it.

It was just like, you know what I'm saying? I didn't like that shit.

And you got the gall because that Diana Ross costume was not sufficient.

And, you know, it was not Carlos. It was not. Diana had more hair than that.

And Boa's on the end of a Fredericks of Hollywood, you know what I'm saying?

Lace cape or whatever the fuck she had on. That's not that.

She didn't even have on a real gown like that. Like Diana being gowns and shit. You know what I'm saying? That cheap ass microphone talking in it all night. And you got the audacity to say something about Stacey Rush. Who actually, once she told once, because I wonder what Stacey was too.

I thought Stacey came in as Stacey.

I just thought she pulled up.

You know what I'm saying? But it made sense when she said it. It made sense. I was like, oh, it's like a Stacey version of Tyra Banks.

It did not look like Diana Ross. Giselle can't talk about what nobody wears in any form. Costume, everyday clothing, formal wear, underwear, swimwear. She can't talk about what nobody wears, period.

She has some moments where she looks decent, but it's overwhelmingly more likely for her to look crazy. And that's just the reality of it. You know what I'm saying? So I just thought that was mean as hell. And I don't like it when they be mean to Stacey. Stacey's not a pushover. She will defend herself. But I don't like it when they be doing that mean shit to her. Because she hasn't done nothing on that show to anybody to deserve blatant disrespect like that.

I think when it comes to Stacey, the only thing I can come up with is Because Stacey, as of right now, is the fan favorite of Potomac, I think Giselle has her eyes on her.

And I think when it comes to Stacey being the fan favorite, I think she's going to chop her at the knees every chance she gets.

I don't enjoy it, but what I do enjoy is because Stacey will clap back and I will enjoy watching this upcoming season of Potomac that also got a teaser during the commercial break.

Talking about the Grand Dom is, what did she say? The Grand Dom has done it again or whatever.

I was laughing when Giselle said that because I'm like, these ladies will find any fucking thing to say about what.

But that's why I did enjoy it. Going back to the drag queen show, I do want to ask you about this. Do you remember.

The look of each drag queen representing the housewife?

I remember the one that was dressed like Portia from the season 16 stuff. And then the other ones, yeah, I remember vaguely.

Who won to you in terms of did the best job representing the housewife?

NeNe. NeNe! NeNe!

In the role of Lanithia.

Yes. But the one that did Portia was cool. I thought that was cool.

He did good. I thought star Sanchez Carrington, who did Giselle, was good.

Yes, that was good, too.

That was a good one. That was a good one.

Teresa and these big straws. This is more of a reality of the dark segment, Raindrop, so we're not going to go too deep, Paul, into it. But Teresa was commenting, Dustin, on how big the straws were. The emcee said, you must not be used to big things like that in your mom.

Teresa said, oh, baby, trust me that I am.

And we saw Teresa, let's just say, Dustin, show that she has many talents.

When it comes to being married to Louis.

I love it. You know what I'm saying? Suck that dick if you want to suck it. Go ahead.

And that scene just proves why Teresa is good on these shows. She's not afraid to, you know, do something that's risque in the name of having just a little fun with your girls.

You know what I'm saying?

And I think that that is something that serves her well as a housewife. And so that was just another example of what makes Teresa a bomb ass housewife.

I love that scene.

Loved it. Loved it. Loved it.

I was like, even when she said the fresh of breath.

Yeah.

And that's not her trying to appear to be in it. Like she just really be talking.

And I love it. I love it.

That's why we love her, man. We've always loved her. Teresa was the breaker. I don't care what nobody says. And I don't even think it's up for debate. Teresa was the breakout star from the Real Housewives of New Jersey.

And everybody thought it was going to be someone else. But it wasn't. It was Teresa. Who?

Caroline Manzo?

Mm-hmm.

And kids and shit. And family. The Brownstone and all that shit.

They had set that up. Caroline was the toughest nails anchor. The toughest nails.

You my family. Let me tell you something about my family.

That was Caroline Manzo. We didn't give a fuck about that. We fell in love with Teresa because she was funny. She had all them cute-ass little girls. Just the way that she would speak and her quirkiness. That's what made us love her.

She was the star. She is the star. That's why she's on the thing. You know what I'm saying?

As what you said earlier, that is who Teresa is. Working with her seasons one and two is everything you said.

She....

She's just, that's just who she is.

I believe it.

You know, like some of the housewives play up the dinginess because it's cute.

Teresa really has, she's none the wiser.

Yeah.

She's none the wiser. But that's why we love her. And what I love about her, she doesn't take it personally. She's like, I had a moment. It's all good. Let's keep it moving.

So your favorite drag queen that came out playing her stuff, Nene Leakes, comes out.

And immediately, Kyle.

Richards bum-rushes the stage to give her a hug. And in that moment, Dustin, I got choked up a little bit because.

Me knowing Nene personally, I know what that moment meant for her. Because when she said.

She was nervous... The dog liked that scene, too.

Okay, he did, clearly.

He said, don't leave me out to Nene's conversation. And then she had on.

What B Brody gonna do is make his mark. Brody, so, the thing is this. I think she was worried about how she would be received.

And to know that Kyle Richards bum-rushed the stage.

To hug her, I know in that moment she felt like, okay. You know what I'm saying?

You just don't know how these girls would receive you based on you not being on the show.

Your exit was controversial.

And you just don't know. It's a lot of layers there, man. Those ladies showered her with love, though. All of them.

Even the ones that was being fake, like Lisa Barlow. She don't know nothing about no damn Nene. You know what I'm saying? But she was being fake and nice. And so was Vicky being fake and nice and shit. But everybody showed love. You know what I'm saying? Because that's what they should have done. Because she is someone who has been very impactful as a housewife and for the housewives. And so, you know, it was good. The fans have missed her. It was good to see her back.

I don't know what she thought they was going to do. Did Nene think she was going to get to the table?

Bitch, go back. Get back. Go back.

Where the hell you with that, bitch? We don't even want you here. Like, what did she think they was going to say? I was pretty confident that everybody was going to show so much love when Nene Leakes reappeared at this Housewives shit to celebrate 20 years of the Housewives. So I didn't, for one second, doubt the warm reception that she would get.

It was so sweet because we learned that, you know, the late great Greg Leakes and Mauricio Kyle and Nene would have double dates.

And it was just nice.

They probably went three, four times.

But, you know.

I thought.

The same thing. I gave it two, but you got it.

They showed one photo. That's right. Okay.

Hey, you know, it's all good.

It's what they said, you know.

You know, but then Mimi's there and she talks about how she misses the girls. Let's talk about a burnable moment, which I want more former reality stars who aren't on the shows anymore to talk about this. When she said, I left the show, I had to. I found peace and that was good. But in the midst of my peace, because these girls nowadays ain't going to admit this.

She said it was also hard to know.

They were feeling... Yes!

Like, they're feeling without me. The show must go on. And it went on.

And that's a tough pill to swallow. And then Portia mentioned leaving for three years, finding her peace. And she never thought she'll go back to the show.

So.

Did you.

Like that vulnerable moment with Nene just based on like, you know, the honesty that you do leave a situation.

You sometimes, you sometimes low-key pissed the show went on.

Hell yeah, you are.

Especially when millions of fucking dollars and notoriety and fame are involved. Yes, you'd be pissed the show went on. And they was both lying. Portia didn't find peace. She found Simon. And ain't nothing peaceful about Simon. And Nene ain't found peace. Nene done had sleepless nights because she missed being Nene motherfucking leaks like she was from forever since we known her. So they ain't found no peace.

They just said that. And I love both of them.

So then Giselle called me back.

Just keep it the fuck real.

You know what I'm saying? It's the truth, man. All right.

All right. So Rachel, I was supposed to get... Monday Not Live tonight is going to be very interesting because it's going to be two other opinions that I'm going to have to sit through.

Now, one thing I told you earlier, Dustin, I don't talk about Giselle's fascist.

It's not my territory. But what I will talk about is her producing skills.

Yes, sir.

I don't know too many women, Dustin, besides Kenya Moore. Mm-hmm. Claudia Jordan, Sharae Whitfield, and Kim Zosiac.

But, who's going to, let me just finish it, who's going to voluntarily break up an issue with Nene after she sat down and was like, enjoying the girls. So Giselle was like, um, so, let's get this mess started. Um, hey Nene, so you ran into Dustin, what is wrong with Giselle?

She tells Nene You met.

Now, in terms of what I know, I don't know anything.

And in that moment, it was strange to me because I felt completely sad for Lisa.
