Yeah. No, Jen is a sweetheart, but she does say like, I hope we don't lose her to this. And I think she's being, you know, I think she's being genuine, but also don't speak. Don't, don't join them in this. Okay. Right. Because you're, you've suffered this same exact criticism from the women. talking about you spending three grand on a sundress. Oh, they've been awful to her. You know how fucked up this is.

They've been awful to her.

So Vicky hits the floor and then lays there flat like a cadaver for a while. Hi, hello, and welcome to Sorry for Yelling, It's Bad TV. I'm Dylan, that's Pat.

Great to be here.

We are covering the death rattles of the 20th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County.

Episode 16.

Episode 16. We got another one. One more, and then we're not— I think there's probably— I' m feeling like there's maybe two.

You know, if there is two, I think we show it the ultimate disrespect, which is— We walk out before the last two minutes.

Of the movie. Can I tell you something? I almost walked out of a movie the other night, a movie called Fjord. Fjord.

I think you mentioned that.

What is it? I'm glad that I didn't walk out. It's a very interesting movie. It's about a Romanian Christian couple that moves to the wife's community on a fjord in Norway. And this Romanian couple happens to smack their kids in the face and the ass every once in a while. just if they're really acting up, you know, nothing too, nothing too crazy. They're just kind of traditional Rockwell, Romanian Christians that kind of smack their kids around a little bit. Now that is not okay in the very progressive socialist fjord of Norway. And their children are taken away from them. And an investigation ensues because of some bruising on one of the children. It is very flat.

And I almost walked out. I said, you This is reminding me a lot of the 20th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County. I feel like I should just say, you know what? I don't care. But I stuck it out. That's what we're going to do with OC, I think. Well, we'll see. We'll see. The past two episodes, this season has reached lows that I didn't even, I don't want to say unprecedented because OC is a dead franchise.

They have to throw a grenade tonight. metaphorically in the middle of this cast. And whoever still has limbs, you go, you know what, fine. I don't know how you survived that, but come back. But yeah, these last couple episodes have kind of ramped up a bit. It's been a trip. It's a big trip to Japan. We've got Shannon Bedore in Japan, which is, you know, always pretty interesting. I give it zero tits.

Zero. Yeah. I don't know if you knew this, Jill, but Meatball's a shopaholic. She's apparently in there.

I really worry about her. When I was on Malibu County, I thought this was going.

To last forever. No, it lasted one season.

I interrupted your pots, and I'm going to do it a second time because we have to tell people what's a patron.

Oh, yeah. Love is Blind, five more episodes of that. I think it's like three more weeks. We have the three more episodes, then we have the weddings, and then we have the reunion.

Right.

And so join us for the rest of that. And then we have Salt Lake City, which is a superior version of The Housewives to this. And then we have Below Deck, of course.

Did you ever watch Godzilla?

Which one?

You ever get into like Mothra?

Well, I used to watch, this predates your birth, but on Saturdays, they used to have a thing called the Creature Double Feature. Okay. Which was old Godzilla. We're talking like Japan.

50s.

So I used to watch all those.

Okay. So you know Mothra. Mothra can't really put up a fight against Godzilla, right?

Well, it has. Doesn't it throw like things out of its eyes?

Right?

Yeah.

So saying OC is the Mothra to the SLC Godzilla does not. really do it justice because Mothra was actually kind of a tough adversary.

What kind of point are you trying to make?

I'm trying to say that SLC is just magnificent and Orange County is subterranean compared. I don't know why I went to Mothra and Godzilla, but, uh, it's the weed talking. Okay.

Let's talk about Gina in her new high fashion phase.

Okay.

I am so happy that Tamrat commented on this and, um, kind of pointed out that, uh, For a number of years when Gina joined the cast, it wasn't so because Caddy Paddy's here.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

For the first six seasons, not only was her fashion bad, but I'm pretty sure Stevie Wonder was her stylist.

Yeah.

A lot of people don't know this, but he has 5% eyesight, actually.

And a notoriously awful stylist.

Exactly.

I mean, he's just bad at it.

Yeah, we have a new meatball. Uh, coming, coming in a little too late though, I think. Oh yeah.

Way too late. So if you are to be a fashionable housewife, you can't look like a Long Island medium at a mall kiosk screaming at people about how they don't know what their dead father wants them to know. And then all of a sudden turn into this Haruka Jami fashionista. Doesn't work.

Oh my God. Fawning over all those, uh, purses, um, which, um, Which was at a vintage store, which is a fancy word for used, which according to Heather Dubrow, I think she was nice about it, but is gross.

Yeah, it's disgusting. Yeah. All right.

So here's my tits. This season's been horrible. We've covered that. A bunch of reasons why this season's bad.

Just name one.

A bunch of reasons why it's bad.

Yeah. Just list one reason.

Meatball.

Okay. Perfect. Okay.

Another reason, Emily. Yeah. Um, and we've, we've talked about all those reasons, but one thing that we've, we've kind of touched on, but we haven't really like broken down why this is like another reason why it's bad. It's sad. Think about this. And I really hadn't zeroed in on this until like the scene with Vicky and Tam rap.

There's been no personal growth. Think about this being a celibate.

I adore this take. Okay. Adore it.

20 years on television, Tamrat, she came in, I think, second or third season, but Vicky's been here since 2006. And here we have Vicky and Tam. They've never been meaner and crueler to one another and to everybody else, right? Their family and friendships have never been worse. She's not talking to Sidney. Vicky's son lives in Spain. Her daughter lives in Oklahoma.

Vicky's reminiscing about the marriage and the love she could have had. Vicky is looking down a well of mistakes. That's been like, that's sad if you think about it. That is so sad.

When you look at what they all were hoping for at the look back's, in 2006 or 2007, what they were hoping, what their dreams and their lives would become. None of it panned out.

No, when you talk about them having no growth, I would, I would say we should go a step further and say they've.

They've, they've regressed. They've regressed. It's the opposite. It's the opposite. It's the fucking opposite. And at what costs they've made money, they've gotten fame, but it's, it's actually sad. So this is not a celebration of 20 years. It's shown.

It's a cautionary tale.

Of how sad it is to be on television for 20 years.

Which is like, if you, if the producers wanted to achieve that bad instinct, don't do that. But that wasn't even what they wanted. They were just, rushing to a presentation in front of a group. Like, this was so thoughtless and glommed together. And it was, for whatever OC is now, which is a decaying franchise, which is the opposite of growth, is actually slow death. They didn't treat it with any pomp and circumstance that it has remaining.

They just went about, and we've talked about this before, they introduced a new cast member.

Out of nowhere.

Took a couple more trips than they normally would. Had a scene where there were housewives of the past, but there was nothing that would commemorate the achievement that this show is.

Sad. Sad.

Zero. With that being said, zero. Okay. And we start off, there's like these like uncanny valley moments. editorial decisions where you're like this is a reality tv show but this is almost not this is kind of like the i don't know some of these choices they make it's like the golden state killer is producing the real housewives of orange county like this trailer that we got in the beginning is this strange melodramatized cutback of stuff we saw and stuff we didn't see that kicks off the episode.

And you're just like, I'm so desensitized by your oddball, on-the-fly choices that I don't even care. We get to the episode, and Meatball, she doesn't want any of the drama from OC following them to Japan.

Well, she can't believe that Vicky and Tamrat brought all this bullshit to Japan, and Meatball just wants to go shopping. My God, these two. Can we downgrade them to the Real Housewives of Everglades? Because there's alligators there.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

I fucking hate them.

A couple of meanwhiles, chief among them, Archie phones home. Well, he's not dead yet, but Shannon is calling and checking in on Archie. And this is sad. Dogs dying. One of the saddest things. Shannon needing to be away from the dog because of the back taxes, it makes it so much more sad.

Well, no, she's got to pay for her two daughters globetrotting and running up those club bills. All of it's going to work out.

My eldest has been going to a natural wine bar in Paris just every day this week.

She's in hospitality. By the way, that's a burgeoning business.

Her what? Shannon Bedore's daughters.

Oh, yeah. Because you have to spend $ 200, 000 on that degree because you couldn't just get a job at a hotel.

No, you want to rise to the top very quickly. Now, Vicky, a little shade here. I actually like this from Vicky. They get in the vans and they head out and she says, when Tamara's sober, she thinks everything is fine. A little shot across the bow. The problem is you've been so awful, and once again, your knee is acting up.

This is the 50th time we've talked about you and Epsom salt baths this season. It's not giving housewives, okay? There's not enough vitality in this show. You look at New York, it's like, or you look at Salt Lake, there's energy. Vicki is just like, I need.

To soak my knee.

I fell on the floor.

I'm telling you, we're five years out. If they keep this going, half of it's going to be in a retirement home. Oh, yeah.

It's just too much. So we get to a place called Amore. And this is Gina's Super Bowl.

Oh, yeah. She's got money now.

The retirement communities are paying handsomely. I think this is what she... I give Gina all the credit in the world. She found a niche. I always get caught between niche and niche, right?

No judgment.

Isn't she building and selling homes that are kind of upscale retirement dwellings?

That I don't know.

All right. We'll talk to Ruby Rubes.

I will say this. When we get down to whether she is a business or she has a gig, I have lots of information on that.

Okay. Okay. I'm excited to get there. Now, does Vicky know... Dude, this is the most Tamra moment ever.

Okay, well, Heather is immediately grossed out by this place because it's vintage, which is, as I pointed out, a dressed-up word for used, and used is something associated with the poor.

Yes.

And Heather and Terry find poor disgusting, which is why they only buy real estate that's in the sky. They want to be as far away as poor people that walk on the ground.

Where does, where does, God, what's his name? The guy that, where does Lando Calrissian live?

Oh, my God. What is his name? Oh, Cloud City?

Is it called Cloud City?

Yeah, yeah. Yeah. That's where they would live if they could.

Yeah. Colt 45. Colt 45.

Yeah.

Now, there's a moment here from Tamara that, I don't know if I just hate her so much that I have to project as much evil as I can onto her.

On Tamrat?

Yeah. But she says, you know, I said something that I shouldn't have. And uses regret as a platform to bring up something she wants to crucify Vicky with.

Okay, so this is the, I cannot believe that I said that Vicky and Brianna aren't talking. Yeah.

I feel so bad about that.

About saying that they're not on good terms because apparently she didn't go to Vicky's birthday and they're not talking right now. I feel bad about bringing that up.

I feel really horrible about saying that.

That would be like me or someone like me or something.

No, it's you. Let's put you in that situation.

I'm at like a party. Like I got a couple in me.

I'm like, yeah, man.

I feel bad about killing my English teacher my senior year. No one caught me. I feel bad about that. And I got away with it.

Right. Singing like a canary.

I'm singing like a canary. And they're like, what?

And you go, oh, nothing. We can talk about it later. Now, while Gina shops for little backpacks upstairs, the women talk about how she's an irresponsible bitch and bad mother. They talk about commission structures and how this is just very irresponsible. She has six children under 18.

Well, hold on. Meatball asks Shannon Bedore, wait, hold on. Where are we? I got to cover all this.

Okay, cover all of it.

Meatball asks Shannon Bedore, what's going on with Tamrat and Vicky? And she shares it's not resolved, especially now that Brianna's not going. All right, then we cover that. And then Meatball says, she's so frustrated that She doesn't want to even participate with this show anymore. Meatball.

Please.

Don't dangle that carrot.

Okay.

Then meanwhile, we learned that meatball is just coming into her own high fashion thing. And no one gives a fuck. The only phase that we care about is you being phased out of this fucking show.

That is the most important phase.

Yeah, yeah. And then, oh yeah, now we get to what you were saying. The ladies discuss how Gina might want to tighten that spending belt a little bit because real estate marketing is what we describe as durable.

It's a market.

It's a market.

It's a market. There are ups and there's are downs. What I'll tell you is a market is a little bit more stable than hopeful guest spots on Malibu country. Okay. Hey, Heather. You have Terry, Heather. Do not speak on other people's money. I, I do not.

I agree. This is definitely a little, um, Ooh, I don't like that. You're making money. This is making me mad. I liked you where you were.

Right. I'll tell you what though. It's, it's better TV than, than this show's been.

It is, you know, Heather could just, uh, not say anything and just, uh, be on her, um, her little walking on her little exercise machine or showing her real estate portfolio.

But this is coming to work.

This is coming to work. And so HG then reminds everyone that Emily and Gina spent 12 grand to hire a stylist for that local magazine shoot.

That was the craziest thing, I think.

I would have brought that one up because that's shade.

Okay, so they had a Saddleback Mountain photo shoot that costs $ 24, 000, okay? Split between Meatball and Emily. They were rented dresses for the photo shoot. They did not keep the dresses. And the women posit, 12 grand is too much, but you could go spend way too much money on things you will own after the photo shoot is over, right?

I mean, this is.

Come on, but who has enough space?

You know what I mean? Yeah, totally. Four dresses take up a fucking garage.

You know, I was saying, like, if you're going to go take some bicycle rides and you got a family, who wants to buy four bicycles? Am I right? Just rent them.

Yeah, exactly.

Here's another thing. Jen is the most positive person on... all Real Housewives shows. Whether she's being fake or not, isn't she so nice how she's always like, I look up to you. Any woman... Yeah, I think at the dinner.

She clarifies that she.

We'll get there, but I'm saying she says that about every woman. She is never jealous. She's always like, wow, you're doing really good. I'm happy for you.

And I agree with you. I think Jen is a sweetheart, but when you have a 215 FICO and you've been evicted from homes and you have no idea what you're going to do, if your relationship with an FBI fugitive is going to work out, you can only look up. True.

But I've seen a lot of women in those positions that are very angry.

Yeah.

Yeah.

No, Jen is a sweetheart, but she does say like, I hope we don't lose her to this. And I think she's being, you know, I think she's being genuine, but also don't, speak, don't join them in this, okay, right? Because you've suffered the same exact criticism from the women before. talking about you spending three grand on a sundress. Oh, they've been awful to her.

You know how fucked up this is. They've been awful to her.

So Vicky hits the floor and then lays there flat like a cadaver for a while.

They use that in the trailer leading up to this season as one of those fake.

Yeah, fake out. Yeah, good for you guys. And we go back to OC because Carmella, her babies are going to college. Her best friend is leaving. And this is why... I don't know. I'm not there yet. I've only been a parent for a year and a half. But I will say, I'm going to be a mess when my little girl goes to college, God willing, inshallah, right? But this is why you can't be best friends. I mean, you can't be best. You've got to have a little bit of room between the two of you, right?

Well, here's the problem I have. You caught that line. You know, because she's broken up that she has four kids and two of them will be leaving soon. And she's broken up because she loves them and they're her best friends. Now, peeps, we probably have a divided listening audience with this. I think you can be friendly with your children.

Yeah.

But you have to be the parent. But the problem I've had with Carmela is... When you say friends, as we've seen on the show, probably doesn't mean sharing intimate details about your relationship. relationships, and definitely not making blowjob jokes.

Right. That's the thing.

Let's not cross that because once you do that with your kids, I think it sets kind of a precedent about....

Yeah. I feel like it's a natural thing, right? You become a parent, and if you're successful at parenting, there's a partition that just naturally exists there, right? We're not hearing that the kid didn't go to practice and joking around about it. Now, you don't have to hit the kid with a fucking belt when he gets home like an old fucking riverboat captain drunk, right? But we definitely should parent a little harder and not talk about sucking cock in this way and dildos and stuff like that and then laughing off the derelict behavior of the children. Listen, I think you're right. We're going to have some split people.

And I do want to be kind of like, it's tough because I want to be my daughter's best friend, but it's just not the laws of the universe.

You can be cool, but no blowjob talk, okay?

All right. So let's get to Harajuku. Yeah, stories.

And I first learned about this kind of, I was dating a girl who was into Gwen Stefani, who- Oh, wow.

This goes way back. Oh, 2004.

Yeah. Yeah. And she had the whole album concept with this.

Oh, yeah.

With her first solo record.

Yeah.

So she had the Juku Girls come out and did the whole concert, yeah.

Love Gwen.

Well, we learn it's culture.

Don't you love Gwen?

You know, I do.

Yeah. She did her thing, you know?

Well, I like how she got rid of the squirrel voice.

Right, right. Yeah.

And then did the solo stuff.

Yeah.

Don't like the no doubt stuff. That's very annoying.

Don't speak.

All right.

So Shannon walks in, my favorite part of the episode. Shannon walks in. So what is this, a fad or something? The women there take great offense to this because this is not a fad. This is actually a movement. Yes, yes, yes, yes.

This is where you can just be free. You can strap dollhouses onto your chest and spend two hours putting makeup on.

Yeah.

I thought the Trekkies were fucking weird. But anyway, it is a movement.

It is a movement. And according to Gina, it is a representation. Actually, I think it was one of the clerks that said it was a representation of freedom of expression globalized. That's cool. Listen, I thought it was fun. Tamara and Emily start talking about Gina's fashion not being her strong suit, and we talk about the new Gina. Now, Tamara voices the concerns that the group had about her to Emily. And this is a very brave thing for Tamara to do because Emily could snap her in half if she wanted to, and Emily comes close to snapping Tamara in half. Emily flips the fuck out, as Gina will later upon hearing this stuff. Yeah. $ 20 million closing in one year is not a gig. It's my buddy, okay?

It's me and meatball against the world here, okay?

What's the commission on $ 20 million? 3%?

2% or 3%, yeah.

That's nothing to sneeze at.

That's $ 2 million.

No. No, it can't be.

It's $ 2 million.

She's doing very, very, very well, okay?

Now.

This gets relayed. I think this gets, we wrap up with Harajuku.

Yeah, and then we go back to the hotel.

Yes.

And that's where Emily tells Meatball that Heather Dubrow is concerned about how her gig could go away at any time.

Yeah.

Gig, gig. And Meatball says, I have a business, not a gig, okay?

Yeah.

And then mocks Heather Dubrow for having a fucking podcast, okay? Is that a gig? Now, I'm not here to demean Meatball's success, but I am going to say she's a real estate agent. And her business is with Travis. They have an LLC. Okay, I forget what it's fucking called. But they work under a company called EPX Realty. Okay.

Under a technicality, they technically have a business because it's an LLC. But to Heather DeRose's point, you're still fucking realtors. And if the bottom drops out tomorrow, you're fucked. Her point was, there's no severance pay. There's no 401k.

There's no benefits yet.

You're on your own. You're fucked if the bottom drops out.

And I'll tell you what.

There's no salary.

Misa putting my fingers in the air and the wind saying, you know, there could be some trouble in River City coming up soon, okay? Got interest rates climbing. We've got foreclosure sales going on. I mean, that's, you know.

Now, she shouldn't have demeaned it by saying it's a gig. She should have just, if she wanted to say, uh, Real estate is a volatile business.

I would take- Or say nothing. I would take branding at a gig more seriously from Vicky than I would Heather Dubrow. Heather Dubrow, who has failed to gig her way to Cloud City.

That's right.

Should not be speaking on other people's gigs or businesses.

You know what's hilarious? Yes. She has essentially not made anything happen, whether it be The weed thing, the champagne thing, the clothing line thing. She's had four different fucking podcasts. Heather's World podcast. She did something where her and Terry fucking do different tests on themselves. The weirdest things. My buddy who worked on fucking Botched said she wanted him pulled off Botched, a show that was fucking making money, to do some stupid podcast and she was pissed.

Allegedly, we heard that.

Allegedly, yeah. And none of those things have succeeded. So how dare you, Heather Dubrow?

How dare you, Heather Dubrow? Now we get ready for the Harajuku night. And Jen speaks on the power of the movement as well. The women all look really good. And Vicky and Shannon have gone in tandem this evening.

What?

What? What are you looking at?

Oh, yeah, that's right. I was looking at my notes. Okay.

We talk on a man named Steve Guttenberg, who I do not know who this person is. Cocoon? No.

Three dads and a baby?

No.

Are you fucking shitting me?

Nope.

Okay, I got one for you. Did you ever see Party Down?

Yes. Okay. Okay.

There's an actor, which they go to his house to do a scene.

Steve Guttenberg. Steve Guttenberg. No? No.

Trying to find your wheelhouse.

I'll tell you what, though. My wife and I put on Ghost recently for the spooky season.

It's slow.

I don't think it's slow. I love that movie.

You did. Oh, good to hear.

I love that movie. And the bad guy in it. Truly one of the most psychopathic.

Looks like Steven Guttenberg.

He does look a little bit like Steve Guttenberg. One of the most psychopathic bad guys in a movie. I think it's underrated how evil that guy is.

How about that ending? Where he wakes up. Amazing ending. And he doesn't realize he's dead. And then the ghosts come for him.

The demons of Hades crawl all over him. over him. He's actually impaled by a pane of glass. A fitting ending for a psychopath.

Sorry for the spoiler.

But I mean, this guy kills Swayze, right? Not even with his, won't even get his hands dirty, right? Hires Willie to do it. Kills Swayze and then tries to bed his lady. Talking about how sad he is and busted up. I mean, it's really, really sick stuff. And you've got to give it up to Whoopi. I mean, Whoopi is just fantastic.

Oh, she was great in that.

When was her pocket?

Well, she was great in the 80s, a great stand-up comedian.

Right.

And then she did Burglar, and then Eddie, and she did another movie, and then she did Sister Act, Sister Act 2. Sure, of course. And then she did that movie.

And then she did The View.

The View was many, many, many years later. Yeah. Dated Ted Danson.

Yeah, went to that roast. It was funny.

Oh, and then I did a thing on PMZ where she was with that dinosaur, that movie that she fought to have released. She sued the company.

Right, right, right. And then she went on The View and she went, you know, I'm a friend of Michael's. You guys don't understand.

Well, Bill Cosby rapes not rape, right? And then Mel Gibson went on that racist thing. I'm friends with Mel. And then Michael Vick did his thing. That's Southern culture, okay? There's no friend that Whoopi has had that she will not defend, okay? She's nuts.

She's a loyal, loyal fan.

I love her, yeah. I'm going to get some wine. Keep talking.

Okay, so. Where is it?

Oh, it's right here.

Okay. So we get to, honestly, they talk about the buddy system. Let's just talk about when Gina is confronted about doing very, very well. And Heather says, I am so happy that you're doing so well.

We're at dinner, right?

Yes, we're at dinner.

We passed the largest crosswalk in the world.

Oh, yeah, in Japan. That was cool. Yeah, that was really great. Um, but Heather Dubrow says, I'm so happy that you're doing so well. And then this is a bless your heart kind of congratulations. Uh, and again, I think it's just because I, I have a lot of, uh, animus towards these women. So maybe they're being actually genuine.

I think not though.

Well, this was a point of what, what they were trying to get here before, uh, Jen, uh, I'm sorry.

Said Casita.

Oh yeah. Uh, They were reminiscing, and they were like, hey, isn't this been a great trip? And then that's when Meatball's like, hey, I got an ax to grind here. And that's when she confronts What's-Her-Face. And then Jen mistakenly steps on a grenade and goes, you know, I always looked up to you. You went from a casita. I did not live in a casita.

I stayed there every once in a while. She explains it away.

Well, she was like, you know, I always was impressed by you. You went from a casita to a townhouse with 11 kids. I was so impressed. You know, I was never homeless. She did the whole lot.

Yeah, she did the whole thing. Although, you know, I'm excited for that show to come back. You had that on the other day.

Liz is not coming back, by the way. Oh, she's not?

No.

And she shouldn't. I think she'll probably get arrested by the FBI if she comes back.

Liz is a nutbag, huh? Good for her, though. If you're going to be a nutbag, you got to know I'm getting a little too close to the sun. All right.

So the topic of then turns to Carmela.

Yeah, it turns out.

What's going on with you and Carmela?

Oh, you know, she wanted me to kind of do assistant stuff. And I'm not really.

Shocking. I felt like it got really condescending here. I could not imagine everyone at the table like, hey, you know what you should do? Fitness.

Fitness is good for you. It's the only thing that she should do. She looks great. She's ripped out of her freaking gourd. She could get a Peloton contract and just whoop it up. All right, so we reminisce on how wonderful Japan's been, and then we get back to Orange County. And a little meanwhile action here. We get to our first content endeavor with Jen filming, and we see an old friend.

Gretchen.

Gretchen.

And Slade. And we learn Jen was inspired to start this new venture called Sexy Fit when a woman kept coming in, women kept coming in and saying- They wanted to feel sexy and fit.

Yeah. It's Harlan Williams in There's Something About Mary. Yeah, it's Harlan Williams in Something About Mary.

What happened?

Well, he was famously a serial killer that had invented seven-minute abs. So I'm not saying Jen's a serial killer, but she is going sexy, fit, sexy, fit. I'm going to teach you how to be sexy and fit at the same time. And again, she should.

Well, that's how some of the best IPs come. Look, it's not rocket science. Some of these things just come together. Think about, um, uh, he, man.

Yeah.

I mean, those toys just flew off the shelves. Yeah. Some geniuses, uh, They came out like, hey, I want to create a great IP about a new superhero. He's going to be like a dude that kicks ass. What's his name?

David.

No, man. He's a dude. First thing, he. And the second thing, he's a man.

Oh, got it.

He, man.

Oh, wow.

He, man.

That's very simple.

Right.

I love how kind of stripped back that is.

It's got to keep it as simple as possible. The kids will love it. And then let's work on a new project. Blow job. Okay. Yeah, yeah. Don't consider it work, but... Okay.

You know what I mean? Yeah.

I'm not down there doing it, you know? Blow job.

Archie is dying. Right. Let's get to Carmela. She couldn't go because she was so stressed.

She doesn't even know where she should be, what story she should.

Be working on. Carmela, you posited that she may have some professional fuckery going on, maybe some tax evasion, maybe some book fudging.

Something's not up.

I think that while that very well could still be the case, Carmela is, there's some stuff going on. I think we might be a little, I think we might have a little bit of a drug problem with the Adderall. I think that we're kind of, okay, so we're having a health crisis right now, right? We are still taking Adderall, I assume very much Adderall, and we are drinking White Monster Energy drinks at dusk. Okay. So if you're on, um, methamphetamine salts, there should be no white monster energy drinks really in the fridge or in anyone's hands. Right. Because you're on grade a meth. Okay. Um, to be drinking that stuff as often as she is, especially into the evening when she's going through a health crisis and needs

sleep and recovery. I'm just like, what is going on here? It's very confusing.

I want to like, let's, let's break down her stint on the show.

Yeah. Okay.

Comes in larger than life. Starts gifting people she doesn't know.

Yeah.

Bags that are.

$ 10, 000. Whatever they are. Okay.

She's obviously renting that house that has not been lived in. And I do kind of agree with Vicky. Like it's not been lived in. It's kind of feels like it's rented.

Sterile.

It's sterile. Okay.

Not to, it's sterile. And it's also like. What are you doing with that much house? Why do you need a fucking 7,500 square foot estate on a hillside?

When you map out where that house is, there's nothing going on there. That's like a vacation home for.

It's an Airbnb.

There's nothing there. There's no schools there. Okay. That part. Also, we never met the ex-husband. We saw the scene where she's trying to. Integrate Jen in her business. But then Jen says she basically wanted me to be an assistant. So that was all bullshit. We don't know anything about Carmela. We really don't.

So this was all basically like very surface level Carmela. I, we don't know anything about her.

What we want to know is what lies beneath. Yes.

And then the whole Danny thing is like, he cheated on her four years ago. And then it felt like a fucking Hail Mary, like, I need another season by saying, I don't think it's going to work out with Danny.

Yeah.

Yeah, I think it's going to work out with Danny.

No, I don't think it's going to. I think he's cheating on her currently. As she's talking to the women and mainlining 200 milligrams of caffeine on top of 30 to 60 milligrams of Adderall, I think he's currently cheating on her. Now, we'll see. to Jen and Ryan. I just quickly, because we're wrapping up here, I want to talk about Jen and Ryan on the pier. The way this man dresses is unacceptable. He is in a brown and pink What is it called? Like members only jacket?

Yeah, it's par for the course for him.

The skinniest jeans I've seen on a man and the biggest white sneakers. It is unacceptable.

You're not going to talk about the dye job he does on his hair?

The dye job. The whole thing is like, are you in NSYNC or not? Gina and Travis talked to a bunch of lawyers for a prenup.

Hold on. Well, she tells us, given all the blessings, she should be running to him To the altar for this fucking guy. Question, what does this guy do for a fucking living? Last we heard, he caught a deal with the feds. He turned witness on those fucking cronies. You knew that, right?

Yeah.

Is there a page on ZipRecruiter for money laundering?

I don't know. Maybe.

Anyway, yeah, Gina and fucking whatever his name is, they meet with the prenup lawyer. We don't get a lot there. But since they have kids together and they own the business and the properties together, it should just be 50-50, blah, blah, blah.

Shane and Emily are doing well.

Right.

Yeah, they're going to go on a date. But the last real guts of the end of this episode is Avila's Ranchos Fajitas with Heather, Judge, and Vicky. God, I'm so... I can't believe we haven't called her the judge.

The judge.

The... Tamrat is just... The antagonist in Blood Meridian, famously, and a true incarnation of evil and chaos, which is exactly what Tamara is. Heather Dubrow is on fire. She is so wasted and so.

I'll have the chicken.

Just cut a chicken breast. I'll just put pico de gallo on top.

I'll have that.

And then two more shots. She's absolutely ripped. And Vicky arrives. We get to Tamara and Vicky. We hug it out. We try to make out, right?

Well, that's how Tamara resolves every fight. Everything's okay, despite the fact you've fucking been horrible to each other. So a couple of things here, though. Vicky says she doesn't give a shit about engagement rings. In fact, she's dated such poor losers, she had to buy her own rings. That's so sad. Tamra apologizes for saying that Brianna doesn't like her mother. Vicky is quick to say, my differences with Brianna aren't the same in the same stratosphere with your situation. The last time Sydney liked you, we still thought Lance Bass was straight.

Which was some time ago.

Very long time ago. Yeah. And as is the usual arrangement, these two women have been so cruel to one another, but they'll still hug it out and kiss like they're best friends. Yeah, let's move on. Beach Trash.

2006.

Was that right?

Yeah.

There you go.

Lance Bass came out publicly. Now, we pick up some trash with Jen and Shannon and Emily. I don't know. I hope it was. I think it was Shannon, right? Or was it Gina?

Emily, Meatball, Jen.

Emily, Meatball, and Jen. Okay. Meatball and Jen show up. Emily brings her adorable little daughter. And all three of them, Jen, Meatball, and her daughter.

Emily is insistent on calling Vicky Victoria. I can't get past that.

Before we get to Emily, the three of them are dressed appropriately for an overcast day at the beach picking up trash. Emily arrives in a two-piece, big bird yellow tennis outfit. And I understand when you get to the body you've been dreaming of, you want it exposed. But the problem is, desperately wanting it exposed is a distraction from its reality. Actual wonder. Emily looks fucking hot. But what are you doing wearing a goddamn yellow Big Bird tennis outfit to an overcast day on the beach picking up fucking trash? It's crazy. They talk about Jen and Tamara.

That's right. Okay, so they discuss trying to shade Heather Dubrow by warming up to Jen. Jen contemplates if she's being manipulated. And I guess that's how we're going to end this season.

Yeah, Jen.

Going after Heather Dubrow once again. Heather Dubrow has taken on what? Is this her fourth time she's had to defend herself? I guess she's got one more.

One more. And I think that she's well up to the task. I mean, earlier in the episode, Heather said, Gina wants to be upset with me. No, Heather, you accused her of having a gig and being an irresponsible mother. Okay. Get in the comments. Let us know what you thought about the episode.
