Unfortunately, I watched it after the fact, but I really enjoyed it also. Do you want more? Maybe a special? I feel like we just talked about this, actually. The BS meter on if this was going to happen, like a special specifically for Marvel Zombies. Here we are actually now talking about the detail. This is a little part two, I guess. Okay. Go for it. I don't think that's the actual title. It's terrible if that is.

Apparently, Sebastian Stan is returning to voice, which is a big thumbs up for me. Features Frank Castle, Zombie, Natasha Romanoff, and War Machine. Supposedly, it will tie into episode one of Zombies where Eric Selvig got in touch with the Nova Corps and ended up A zombie in the Quinjet. Yeah, I mean, what is going on tonight? What is happening tonight?

Breaking the fourth wall over, back to the Marvel zombie special, The Winter Soldier. Yeah, like, are you seeking more zombies content? And do you think a special is a good angle for this? I listed off a couple little details there if you want to chime in.

Yeah, I mean, I think this was discussed on Weekly earlier this week that I was not on.

You were not on either, right? That was Taylor Travis joint.

I just feel like I did talk about this a couple weeks ago.

I just thought I saw something about there being like three... specials confirmed or something like that. So I'm guessing this is like one of those three or maybe there's just one that's announced for now and then the other ones will follow.

I'm going to find that episode.

We'll figure that out at some point.

But yeah, for what we got here, I mean, you know, The Winter Soldier is one of the finest movies in the MCU. So, heck, calling something also The Winter Soldier and, you know, that lineage, it's probably, that bodes well.

It's a good sign.

Sebastian Stan coming back, it doesn't really, do much for me, honestly. I think the sound likes do a good enough job and it's fine for me in the animated realm, but it is cool. I'm kind of surprised because I feel like he is just all over the map right now in terms of he's in all these big movies. I feel like he's winning awards and doing TV, doing movies, doing all sorts of stuff. So I'm kind of surprised that he would come do this voice, but I guess this role is really important to him. So that's cool that he's coming back for that. I think maybe the biggest, most exciting thing for me here is... Frank Castle is in this, and I've loved in this last couple years how we're really getting a whole lot of Frank Castle, right?

The return of him, and now he's kind of been everywhere. He's been in the TV realm, he's been in movie realm, and then this is the debut in animated, right? He hasn't actually popped into any of these animated things previous to this.

Like a What If? I don't think has never had Punisher in there, right?

No. No, this would be first.

He hasn't been in Zombies to this point, so So I'm into it. I think this is really cool. And I guess if it is like a Sebastian Stan or I guess rather a Winter Soldier, Frank Castle, those are like your main two. And then we're dealing with like other antagonists. I don't know if we're the main two. I'm just kind of basing off the notes we have here.

I feel like that's a cool duo. And I like they both have a ton of trauma. They both have done a lot of terrible things in their lives, whether there was a mind control or otherwise.

So I don't know.

I feel like that could be like actually a really fun combination. Uh, so I'm, I'm quite down for this. I could just already picture a scene of those two, like tearing it up and destroying a whole bunch of zombies all at once. So, uh, yeah, I'm, I'm, I'm pretty, I'm pretty intrigued by this for sure.

It seems like a great roster for the, the Marvel zombie setting. Um, like especially I feel like Frank, I never really like thought of him needing to be in, in like the what ifs or like anything else up until now, but like Marvel zombies, it's like, man, yeah, hell yeah. If I'm playing the Marvel zombies video game, I'm I'm picking Frank Castle because that sounds amazing. I sometimes question the level of brute force nature that he brings to everyday criminals, street criminals, low-level criminals, but zombies, yeah, go hard. Just murder all of them. And Bucky, I feel like I... Peak Bucky, Winter Soldier, is that accurate to say?

Yeah.

Like, the character obviously goes through the transition.

I think that's, yeah.

I think that's fair. Yeah, yeah.

For, like, the actual Winter Soldier side. Like, the badass.

Yes.

Badass character.

I mean, the whole side.

Because I think after that, he kind of takes a backseat in anything that.

He's in, right?

He's shoveling logs, right?

I guess the show. Falcon Winter Soldier.

But I'll go Winter Soldier Captain America.

Yeah. And I want to see that type of character again. I think Marvel Zombies is a perfect setting for that. I like the idea of it being a special also. Just focus it all in. Start to finish with a... I don't know, what? 45 minute, hour long range. Like 50 minutes probably. I think that's awesome. And all the other details in there. I don't know, like the Nova Corps stuff. I thought that was... I thought that was kind of a fun thing they did in the show there.

So I'm okay with it being here. Natasha, she's been obviously gone for obvious reasons in the live action as of late. But I'm always down to get a Black Widow returning here. So yeah, I think all of this detail is really amazing. And I had to check. I'm sorry, Dylan. I got you confused. It was me and Taylor that covered that Weekly Geek when we were just talking about the rumor of this happening. So that's where I was having deja vu because it was just... Two weeks ago. Okay.

The weeks are blending together.

But yeah, no, I think this is exciting. I want it. And hopefully get some more details like release and all that. Anything else on the Marvel zombie stuff?

No, I mean, I honestly don't really remember the episode one details of like the Eric Selvig thing. So I'll obviously have to rewatch that before, uh, before kind of sliding into this, if, if this does happen.

But, uh, Yeah.

I'm sure there's something more I could break down there, but it's just been a minute since I've watched that.

Yeah, me too. Also, I remember the Nova Corps surrounding the planet, and they were talking about having the cure, and then they didn't. They were just going to blockade the whole planet. That's what I remember from that detail, but this makes me potentially want to re-watch it, but I mean, I'm still behind on the shows that I have to watch to begin with. I still got to watch Vision Quest, actually. Were you on that review? I wasn't able to make it.

No, I mean, honestly, I.

Since they added the doublers, like the two episodes back-to-back, I don't think it fits my schedule. I don't know if I can really be on the reviews for the show, unfortunately. I was kind of down to jump in, but the doublers, my new work schedule, I don't think.

That's like a She-Hulk. Yeah, breaking the fourth wall. He's going to meet Kevin again. Okay, sorry. He will discover why this happened to him and the organization behind him. So, of course, tying into his ability there with the Void. Shout out to Marvel Snap because that's the only reason why I even know that that was a link between Sentry and the Void.

Well before Thunderbolts came out. But, yeah, what do you think about this? Do you like the character, Bob? Do you want this? I like the character.

I like the bolts. It's a fun movie. Do I want this, though?

Eh. I think I'm fine with getting a bolts, too, with him in there on the team, kind of fully promoted, and we get to learn more about him that way. I don't know if I'd want, like, a sequel movie to center on, like, the backstory of what led him to getting to that point. Like, I don't know if I want the second Thunderbolts to be like a prequel to find out why.

Yeah.

Like more origin story for this character. So I think for that very same reason, I really wouldn't want any of this, but I don't know, maybe in the comics, it's an extremely interesting storyline. And so maybe there is something to dig into there, I'm sure. And a movie obviously is only going to really cover so much when it's already introducing and doing so many other things at the same time. I think in terms of the BS meter of this, I'm going to go very low chance.

I just don't think, again, with how Thunderbolts was kind of like a moderate success, like did all right, I just.

Don't see them.

I would think like a Yelena show or a special, something they'd greenlight, not necessarily a Century One.

So I'm going to go very low.

I'm going to go 3.4% that this is happening.

And honestly, my want for it is I'd put it at the same percentage.

I don't really care much for this concept, to be honest.

I could definitely be sold on it. But from the information and the place I stand currently, I don't think this is something I would want to be diving into.

Are you at a higher interest level or a percentage chance of it actually happening?

I think I'm a higher percent chance on it happening. Like, not much, but higher than 3%, I think. Because I think there is some content you can definitely put on screen or special or some shape or form around just that idea of how he, I don't know, met the void and how it came into being. But I think just, like, realistically, like, if they're trying to get projects that can, like, return on investment, you know, they get their money back, they're getting people to go see it. Like, is that the sell? Like, a Bob prequel?

Yeah.

I don't. think so really um and like do you need like that amount of time for that explanation i feel you could have it in like a five minute exposition dump or something with some cgi that goes through him meeting the void and and and that's fine i guess that didn't happen in thunderbolts so maybe that's the angle that it might be coming from this this rumor of uh you know well we can put on disney plus or something or we can do something else um giving that origin but I feel like I would be one of those few people that would like, Oh yeah, I'm actually going to check that out. But just that being said, like I, yeah, I don't think that's a sell for general audience members. Cause I don't think he's

like an interesting enough character off the hop out of, out of Thunderbolts. I don't think he's like the one takeaway out of Thunderbolts that maybe people that aren't like diehard Marvel fans are like, man, I really need more of that guy's content. I thought how he was done in Thunderbolts was really good. I like the, unknown nature I think of like what that void was in him I thought that was like a fun thing to have in the or it wasn't fun it was kind of terrifying actually but just like if you if you did the explanation in that movie like does it take away like the fear factor of like not knowing what that thing is who knows but yeah I yeah I I think I'm gonna go like 15% in that range for

it happening still still low but like you know significantly it's like five times more than what your percentage was so It's all relative, but yeah, I'll leave it there. I don't really think it's going to happen. Honestly, I'd be surprised if it was announced. And if it is announced, my next thing would be like, man, how is this going to do numbers-wise? And just all the green lighting that it had to have gone through, they really thought this was going to be the return investment thing? I don't believe so.

That's the first one. Let's keep ripping through these. So the next one is reportedly... Laura Donnelly's Elsa Bloodstone is being considered for an appearance in Ghost Rider. Spicy. It is spicy.

I mean, where else would a character like Elsa Bloodstone go if not for... A project like Ghost Rider. So I hope this exists. I think Elsa is a very cool character, and we only got just kind of a glimmer of, I think, some of the fun potential of that character in Werewolf by Night when we got that show, which was, oh, my God, what was that, three, four years ago now?

That was forever ago. Was it a special? Was it a show? I can't remember. It was a special.

So even then, that's pretty short and sweet for what it was. I got to rewatch it. I was like, Halloween season. I feel like it would be a good time for me to put that on again. But yeah, I feel like we only got to dig so much into the character. Sorry, say that again?

That's insane behavior to drop that kind of bomb on me, Kirk.

But yeah, I definitely want this character to come back because I think Ghost Rider is going to be, I think, a pretty bombastic, high-budget sort of movie or like higher budget than a special on Disney Plus would have been granted.

So i i think also like that that could just be like a whole new level of the character and i don't know i think story-wise it could be interesting how that ties in because because that show werewolf or again the special werewolf by night like took place not in modern time right like in the mcu modern time and like ghost rider presumably would but i don't know we can always do like weird dimensional stuff with characters like that anyway i'm sure they'll figure it out uh and it won't feel that weird. Or they honestly might even like not mention like her backstory at all.

And here's just this character and deal with it. And I will deal with it. And I'll be happy with it. I'm going to go in terms of what I want, what I want this a hundred percent. I'm going to clean Hundo on that likelihood. I'll, I'll say lower than that, but I still think there's a good chance that this could happen. So I'm going to go, I'm going to go a solid 67% Just for you, Kirkland, 67% chance.

67% chance that this is happening. Because I do think there is still quite a lot of room for this to just not be a thing at all. And it's just like an easy rumor for a low-level scooper to chuck out there. And maybe it sticks, maybe it doesn't. And I mean, even this BS meter, this character is being considered. for an appearance of Ghost Rider. It's not saying she's in Ghost Rider. Is she being considered? I feel like, actually, if we look at it that way, I'd probably go over a higher percent chance.

And I guess my percentage chance is for, like, the character actually making it into the movie at all.

Yeah. No, I think I'm right there along with you. My want's definitely 100%. It feels like a fun pairing to that type of character, mixing with a character like Ghost Rider, just thematically, it fits. There's, like, certain characters that I just feel like Halloween-y And those are two characters that in my mind are Halloween-y. And yeah, get them in the Ghost Rider appearance. So this would be Mr.

Ryan's Ghost Rider, right? I would imagine.
