Reality with the King is hosted by me, Carlos King. I'm an executive producer who have produced some of your favorite shows from the Real Housewives of Atlanta, New Jersey, and my own creation, the Love and Marriage franchise and Bell Collective. Every episode, we recap reality television from the Real Housewives franchise to The Bachelor or Selling Sunset. in addition to celebrity guests, whether in the unscripted space or scripted as well. All right, so the time has come for Claudia, Dustin, Blue, and I to talk about Love and Marriage.

Huntsville new season.

We want to get into the scene between Monster and Maurice. I know there's a lot of people who do not like that name.

That's his nickname. I don't make the rules. Why? What do you do? Why that's his nickname? Yeah. You know what's so funny?

Wasn't Monster a nickname for a head?

I don't know why. No, that's brain.

That's brain.

I heard monster, so you gave me that monster.

No, that's a guap wrap 3000.

I don't think you want to get monster from getting head.

Yeah, that's teeth.

That's not good.

They never talked about it. But good. Good question for the reunion. I will ask for you, Claudia. Thank you. And I will give you a shout out.

Monster, unfortunately, failed out of school his freshman year. They want to watch her dust it.

You know that.

Marie spent years Wanting his son to live with him in Huntsville because his ex-wife lives in Detroit. Monster lived with him and Maurice had all of these rules. And it appears that based on what we're seeing that, unfortunately, it just did not work. Monster made it very clear last night, I mean, in this past episode that Maurice was hard on him.

And, you know, said, I don't want to be here and I want to, you know, figure stuff out for me.

Dust, what are your thoughts on the whole thing between Monster and Maurice?

Maurice was too hard on Monster, it appears. And he is, it's just like a preacher's kid, right? You have all these rules at home and the minute you get a taste of freedom, you're all out. That's what happened. And he's not, it's not a singular case. Kids funk out of college all the time. Freshman year is too much for some kids. That's why you have to give your kids freedom.

You can't.

And to me, I remember, again, day one viewer, I remember Maurice fighting like hell because he wanted Monster in his care, you know what I'm saying, as he entered into young manhood. But when you was trying to impose on them rules, you just didn't do it right. And it's okay because people make mistakes in parenting, right? But he took the wrong approach. And I think that I remember feeling back in the day like his pursuit of Monster was Being in his home was kind of self-serving in a way. Like, I want to be the dad that went and got my son when he entered his manhood years. And once he did that, I just think he took the wrong approach instead of connecting. Munster said he just wanted a connection. He wanted a dad-son relationship.

So that's what happened. Hopefully he get his shit together.

Claudia?

I'm not a day one winner, of course. But would it be wrong to assume that sometimes people want to take on these roles because it's a good look?

Yeah. Right.

And then they get the responsibility. It's like, damn, because it seemed like he's a little awkward with it.

Right.

And I remember having a friend in junior high school that very, very strict parents and they didn't want her to like be fast. And the moment we went on our first road trip without the parents around, she was the biggest hoe.

Yeah.

Because like, you know, they went too far.

Yeah, yeah.

And that's what they're going for.

She goes, damn, Clyde. That's how it goes.

I walked in and this girl, she was 14, about to suck dick. Okay, wow.

And I was still a virgin.

I was like, well, damn.

Sponsored by Deke.

But I think your father was too strict on you. So the first chance you get, it's like, you know, I let my cat roam the backyard.

Okay, which cat?

Seven. Yeah, seven.

No, he met your vagina, baby.

Oh, oh. Black pocket? Black pocket.

Black cat?

Black cat.

Meow.

Let's go.

I let her roam the backyard. The same principles apply.

Right, right.

I let my cat roam the backyard. So it's not such a big deal. So when she gets out there, she's not wilding out.

Got to let your cat roam a little bit.

Is it a metaphor?

What's happening?

It's a metaphor. It's metaphorically speaking.

Let your cat roam.

You got to let your cat roam.

Oh.

Let that cat roam.

So, okay.

Sometimes it's a big deal, you know, wild hours.

Right, right.

The studio audience is clapping for you. Let your cat roam.

Let the cat roam.

This is actually a great conversation to have after the conversation we have with Loves.

This is where the tenderness and all that smoke needs to come from that you have from the men on your couch.

Oh, there you go.

No, no. No, seriously.

This is where it belongs because when men have not.

healed themselves and how they feel about their masculinity, they perform it.

And they push it on their sons a lot.

All that, like, what about the men and their feelings? This is where I think that conversation belongs. That young boy is learning about how to deal with himself by watching his father deal with himself and deal with him. If your father is ill at ease having compassion with you and tenderness with you and like having a real conversation with you where you can be messy and human and figure out intimacy, you're going to be like ill at ease with yourself.

And you're going to want to run far away and find yourself. And so it breaks my heart that so much time black men will be worried about how their masculine looks next to their woman or their partner when whole time their sons are where they need to do the work. Because if he was comfortable with himself and he would be like, yo, I know what it's like to be a young boy and to be overwhelmed and to have all these feelings and to be falling under this feeling of having to be perfect. My son's probably going through the same thing. Let me talk to him about his feelings.

Maurice can be pageant sometimes.

He's very pageant.

He can be pageant where it's like, you got to say the right answer, the right thing. You have the pageant answer. And then you'd be like, oh, okay. We'd rather see a flawed, you know, I fuck up sometimes. I don't always get it right. But you know it's annoying when someone always says the right thing all the time.

That's not real. Real life is not flawless. Real life has flaws and mess ups and mistakes. And I learned from that. I don't feel like he gives that. I feel like he gives what he's supposed to say.

And that's ineffective as a parent.

You can't relate to that.

Well, your father's more, because I'm really curious about masculinity a lot right now.

What's it like having a dad?

Yeah.

Papa, can you hear me? Me and Claudia as the love children.

Black fathers are at home.

Right. How does that feel?

Listen, I've been extremely dead. Who I spoke to this morning. He called me last night.

Oh, wait.

You had a dad and he's alive?

Yes.

You won the lottery and he supports your adventures?

You have his number?

And he's black.

And he's black? Oh my God, a lot of us.

No, he called me last night.

I was on stage, obviously, so I called him back this morning. And I said, hey, I missed your call last night.

What did I want? This is a true story.

Oh, you know what?

There's a lot of people online who are negatively talking about you.

I said.

But that ain't why I called you. But anyway, I said, well, I didn't need my morning to be disturbed by.

Oh, maybe we don't want our dad to call us.

No, but I'm going to say this. My father's nickname in the neighborhood was Joe Jackson. My father was a very strict disciplinarian.

I've been very open and honest about, you know, me and my father not having the best relationship because out of 10 kids, I'm the fifth child, the first gay one.

And I have a gay brother. He's like the youngest.

Oh, there's others? That's dope, though.

Yeah. And a bunch of niece and nephew. Oh. They mean I'll tell. No, I'm teasing. My bad, girl. It be in the blood. It be in the blood.

I'm close to my dad now. But growing up, my father, and I said this, I think, last week. Black fathers have this dream for their sons. It's just, it's unspoken. And I was in my father's dream.

Right?

Oh, that's a hurtful thing to say.

No, but hear me out.

Hear me out.

The reason why I can say that without getting emotional.

I'm getting emotional.

It's because you're rich. And we're back.

Can we keep it? I'm like, tender moment of burden. Good job, buddy.

You want to cry?

She's about to cry. He's like, this nigga rich. Stop crying.

So, listen. I will go on record saying I just don't think there's any... There's not a lot. Let me not say any.

I don't think there's a lot of black men whose dream is their son being gay. Right.

I think that's fair to say.

So I'm making a dad sense like.

I'm going to do what you need.

But my point is my dad, I.

Was 33 and I said to him, I spent the rest of my life thinking you didn't like me.

That you didn't like me.

And he instantly apologized. And he owned up to this weirdness he had with me. And he was very tough on me. And when he said to me, he said, I was always tough on you because you were smart. He said, you were always smart. And I always knew you was going.

To be something. He said, now granted, I didn't see this.

Yeah.

You know.

He's like, I didn't see the deep.

I didn't see the deep. Damn. Carlos said, I did. Damn.

How you doing?

My mom was alive at the time. She said, I saw all of this.

But my point is, as a black man who grew up in a household with black brothers, a black mama, sisters, and a black father.

Mm-hmm.

I will give my dad 100% of the credit.

And my mother deserves a bunch of credit.

But the one credit that I will give my black father is the fact that me along with my six brothers are not in jail.

We're not in gangs.

That man was the sole provider financially and still found a way to make sure that his boys did not end up in jail. And that's why years later, I make sure to take care of him financially because the life that I get to live today is because of the sacrifice that he made for me and my siblings. So, again, when it comes to this dream, I think Maurice is somebody who may have... Been a little bit too heavy handed because when I look at Monster, I look at a young man who's trying to find himself.

100%.

And I think Monster doesn't want to disappoint his father. And when I said that I knew I was my father's dream, I think Monster is saying to himself.

I know I'm not my father's dream right now.

Yeah.

On television.

On TV.

On TV, no less. And as I'm trying to find mine, I know I'm disappointing him.

Yeah.

Yeah.

It's tough. It's tough.

It's tough.

All right, moving on to... We.

So deep in person.

I know, that was good. That was good. Dad, I love you. I'll call you tomorrow, child, because Lord knows he'll get some texts. Okay. So listen, we had a lot to talk about today. I do want to get into... So Chris, let's get into.

The moment between Martel bringing Arianne to the event. Because we are going over time and I want to make sure that... Thank you, Chris, that we really lay some groundwork for this. Once again, Claudia and Blue, the audience....

Really, what are.

Y'all opinion on Arianne joining the show? In this particular scene, Martel brought Arianne to meet the cast, to meet his group. And there's been a lot of conversation about Ariane making commentary.

About, I don't want to be like y'all.

Look at y'all.

Look at y'all.

And this big debate about Destiny and Martel's friendship. So starting with you, Dustin, because I like to tease the ladies.

Yeah.

What were your thoughts on Martel bringing Ariane to meet the group?

It was surreal.

First of all, like watching it happen in front of my face was kind of like, wow, okay, this is really happening, right? I wonder why Arianne didn't feel, I wonder where her sense of pride came from in that moment, because she was not being, it didn't look like she was valued to me. It looked like she was like, finally now, you know, now I can do this now.

Also just keeping it based on what was on the screen. I don't want to go too far back in time.

Right.

But just keeping it based on what was on the screen tonight, she came in argumentative and combative and being downright rude to the rest of the cast. And I don't know what she thought that was going to, I don't know where she thought that was going to take her because it was the wrong road.

I thought Nell was being fake, right?

Because in Nell's confessional, she was saying how, in Nell's confessional, she was more like, this is what y'all get. Now y'all don't have nothing to say. She's here now. All y'all were talking about her. But when Nell was at Martel's party with, Destiny in the beginning when Arian came in with a funky ass attitude and asking what's the energy and, you know, speaking in fast forward and shit.

Cause she was speaking in FF all night. What's the energy? Everything was X2, two times speed, but But when in that scene, Nell was telling, remember, in that scene, Nell was telling Destiny, oh.

She don't want none of this. She coming in all right. She don't want none of this. Doing all that stuff.

But then in the confessional, she's like getting joy out of watching everybody act differently because Arianne is in the room. So that was a little confusing for me. But Arianne came in being rude and nasty and acting immature, acting like a kid, asking stupid questions at the table, just creating problems, adding to the tension. Just being negative is fucked.

And I don't understand what she thought that was. And another thing she was saying, she wanted to see if she could pursue relationships with the people on the cast. What people was she talking about, Carlos? Because it couldn't have been Kimmy, Tisha, Marceau, Maurice, damn sure it wasn't Destiny. Nell and Fletcher will talk to anybody. They don't care.

They just cool and happy to be there type shit.

This is Reality with the King and I'm Carlos King.

Let's get back into the show. So who is she hoping on fostering these relationships with?

Do you know?

I don't.

Okay.

But we'll find out in the episode.

Claudia, what were your thoughts on, well, first of all, the audience, the Monday Night Live-ers have not heard from you in response to Arianne joining the show and we could break down this scene too.

It makes me really question Martel and his sanity. This is who you blew up your marriage for. This girl seems slow. She's a mess. She came in with all the smoke. She's not reading the room. She's making it difficult for her man, her man, her man, with his circle of people. She seems very immature. She seems like someone who's never had a man publicly claim her before.

She's just way too happy to be there, like, just on some, like, I'm here. And even in the interview, it gave like weird step for wife. Like, well, as long as my man's there, I'm okay. It seemed like pre-program. And then Martel, he was just like giddy. He seemed like more like her gay bestie than her partner. Actually, it seemed like they had a bunch of conversations and he probably was like, and this one, he liked it.

He sat there and watched her act like this. And he didn't say baby girl. Like, you know, he should have like let her and said, Hey, you know, these people say something. So your girl doesn't look like an idiot. Because he did not help her. He did her no favors by not putting any guardrails. If I had my partner and we're like, you know, we have our pillow talk.

We get clunk and talk our shit. When we go in the circles, all right, babe, I know I told you this, but let's just keep it cute for the first. Let's see what they give first before we go in. She went in way too hostile. Now you're at a deficit for the rest of the season. How do you think these people are going to take you? We already know you are a mistress, a willing mistress side chick, and you come here with that attitude. I think mistresses...

And side chicks have gotten way so cocky. There's no shame. Bring back shame. Because if I came on the show as a mistress, side chick, side bitch with that swoop, I would not be that arrogant. I get arrogant when my hair is looking good. So I don't get when girls come in there with that attitude and look at a hot mess. She sounded ridiculous. It was, Martel, I don't get it. You did not prep your girl. You know when you give notes, y'all give notes before you go do a scene? Where were the notes given? She should have got some notes. And I don't get what was your smoke with all the people there. Melody wasn't there.

If anyone, that's who you have your thing with because you know what you did. But what do these people have to do with you? Why are you coming in like that? I didn't understand why she came in so hot. Yes, I will be on her neck this season. And I really don't give a fuck if she don't like it.

Because I don't.

Respect women like that. You know I have very strong feelings about mistresses and side chicks. I do not like them. I don't like what you're doing to other women. It ain't cute. It ain't cool. And Martel... I really don't like what you're doing.

I don't.

And he's just shameless. And they don't seem like a real couple to me. Their chemistry, where is it? It's so weird. Watching them does not seem like a passionate, loving couple. It seems like he's a narcissist, she's his supply, and she serves a purpose of I make him feel good about himself. I built him up. Where he didn't feel that same way with Melody because she was equally yoked, if not more. And I feel like with her, he's running circles. She's like his dumb, slow girlfriend, in my opinion. Allegedly.

Blue.

I'm going to try to be nice.

I think she's a bird.

I think she's a simple bird with bad edges, no edge control, no self-control, no self-esteem, very pure media literacy.

I think she's performing for Melody, even though Melody's not there. I think Melody's losing her mind.

That's for her.

I think she's putting on a Tyler Perry production that nobody bought tickets for. I think it's lame. I think it's whack. I think it's a brave review. take the tax write-off on this.

Well, he's clearly not spending money on glam.

Clearly.

It's given like Ray J every time I turn the tracks are different.

The swoop keeps moving.

The edges keep going different ways.

Ariane make her man feel like so.

Do you have a glam squad on the show?

She build her man up to make sure he feel like so.

For all reality shows, we pay for glam for confessionals only.

Have you guys seen Receipts?

We pay for glam for confession only, not the verite, not the scenes.

The day-to-day, they don't get, clearly. But there's got to be someone in Huntsville that can lay, like, and do a flat on, a mean flat on.

Ah, well, you know.

And listen, I know we shouldn't be just, like, talking about our looks. If the attitude wasn't so fucked up and stank.

We wouldn't be having this conversation. But she's the kind of person who needs this, though.

Pick me.

So by definition, a pick-me is a woman who.

Thinks that- What happened to I'm trying to be nice? Exactly, Blue. Come on over to the dark side.

Oh, that was it. So a pick-me- Oh, it could have gotten way- Are you saying- That's the- tell you. That was nice.

I'm being quiet for a reason.

Yeah.

I will say this.

There's a special place in hell for women who take pride in causing harm to other women- and acquiring men as a prize because the irony of her is that's the exact kind.

Of woman who is going to call him a bitch when he chooses somebody else.

She's the kind of girl that we were talking about earlier who emasculates men because he's just a means to an end. A pick-me wants to get picked just to show their value. It's a level of insecurity, right? To me, it's the same thing as the bad bitch men, right? They're two sides of the same questionable coin. And what makes me curious is when she served her purpose and her place is no longer in the age bracket that makes her feel fresh and new and he replaces her with somebody who can maybe read, what is she going to do then?

Yeah.

Because there's nothing sadder than a pick-me who stopped being picked.

Well, what did she do the first time when he picked Sharae over her, Carlos?

Damn! Okay, see, I was trying to be nice. That's what I wasn't saying.

Well, there we go.

Martel gives bigger, better deal all the time.

All the time.

And he's fine as hell. He's a little stupid, but he's fine. So he'll find somebody.

That's not attractive. Those kind of men are not attractive. They look good on paper, but as soon as they talk, and the way he talks seems so... Like, if you told me, Martel, it was a serial killer one day, I would be like, oh, okay.

Oh.

Because the narcissistic personality, I mean, not to diagnose him because I could never, but I'm just saying, like, it's giving narcissists, like, narcissistic abuser.

Yeah.

The way their relationship looks crazy to me. Like, I see this ending very badly.

What got me was the conversation between Martel and his mom, Miss Marlene, when he said, I know you don't want me to, you know, go through what I went through in my last marriage.

What did you go through?

He was an equal?

He did it.

Like he was the cause for that ending, Carlos.

So what was he talking about, Carlos? I'm asking you everything.

Because he's free falling.

No, Dustin, don't we have sympathy?

Don't we have sympathy for these men who are free falling?

They feel so bad. I lived in the shadow of Melody.

I feel so bad. But that conversation is crazy to me.

You love a bad bitch.

You love a bad bitch.

You love a bad bitch.

You love a bad bitch crying on the couch.

You know, what was so interesting, and I'm glad you brought that up. All the guys saw the conversation that he had with his mother.

I don't know if I gave you that clip, but what was so interesting is, and again, he's a day one watcher.

Obviously, I've been there day one as well.

What was interesting about this is Martel's mother loved Melody.

Yes, she did.

I watched the first season.

I remember that.

And referred to her as her daughter. And will literally get on Martel's tail.

And seem like, you done, right? You done messed your family. You so stupid. Like, what are you doing? Mama knows best.

And they had great conversations.

The first season, her and Melody had great conversations.

I think what's happening is when it comes to Martel's conversation with his mom... Look, I think he's trying to rationalize what happened and why this is his life now, right?

In terms of. I think in his mind, he's trying to rationalize.

And I think not knowing that, obviously, the fans have seen that Know Your Mother.

really did love this woman.

And yes, there wasn't time that Melody.

And his mom were not on good terms, right?

But a lot of people were surprised by that conversation. Were you guys surprised that there was this big thing at the table about best friend?

No, because that's what narcissists do. He had every chance to elevate her in that moment, to make people take her seriously. And when asked who was his best friend, he could have given her an out and saved her and said, She is. So you crashed your whole marriage and changed your whole life, pissed off your mama for a girl you can't even sit there and call your best friend? And you said, Fletcher, he disrespected her so many times with his little mannerisms and little things. He was with the shits. He liked that messy shit. He had glee in his eyes when that was happening. I'll be damned if my man, how many years have they been together?

We learned that, and I want to make sure I got this right.

Together without other people involved.

Yeah, they've been together since she was 23 years old.

Okay, so you've been with me for 13 years and you can't say at a table of people where you know I'm walking to a hostile environment possibly, you can't even give me that where you're like and elevate me and say, she's my best friend. And make it at least be understandable why you would risk it all for this woman.

And if he kept saying that the party was to celebrate him getting his builder's license and his real estate license or whatever he got, you know, toddler making a bed in the morning, right?

But here's the thing.

So we celebrated, but then he says, and this party is really to introduce Ariane.

When he was talking to Ms.

Marlene, he said this party is really to introduce Ariane to the people. We didn't see it on screen, but was there a moment where he came in and addressed the table and said, hey, you guys, this is Ariane? Because in my mind, right, if this dinner is an introduction, a formal introduction, there should be a conversation with a nod to Ariane. The elephant in the room, first of all, you have to neutralize that, right? There was just no leadership exhibited by Martel whatsoever.

In that scene.

He did not come in and say, hey, you guys, this is my woman. I'm going to take care of her. I want y'all to see her. I know that, you know, there's been a lot of stuff happening here, but I want y'all to.

Know I love her. I honor her. I want y'all to respect her.

Nothing.

He was there for the mess.

He sat down at the table giddy and laughing and shit and never.

She was getting up.

She got that hat, put that sticker on that hat and gave it to Martell.

You know what I'm saying? Yeah.

The construction hat.

A sticker.

He seemed like an unseasoned reality star in that moment where he didn't command the room. I would be very nervous to be with a man that led like that. That's how I get introduced. I met the men, but I haven't met the wives, which you know it's going to always be difficult meeting the wives because they're going to come from a place of Do I need to keep my eye on you? You're a willing side chick.

You know what I mean? You know with all these eyeballs that were going to be on you, this is the biggest scandal of the show, right?

It was.

To handle it the way he did, it showed zero leadership. She's a bird because she didn't get mad enough for me. I didn't think she got mad. I think she was just still so happy that, well, at least I'm at dinner with everybody.

I'm on the show.

And what about the shit she said about Maurice and Martel and them and bringing that woman in that interview?

You know what I'm saying?

What?

I just, it's a lot that needs to be discussed, Carlos.

He makes me nervous.

No, and it is.

And that's, you know, listen, it's episode two. And what I will say is, yes, if you are, and it's funny because I was telling you guys before we started filming that, I've been getting so many phone calls from people who were day one watchers.

I kind of fell off and was whatever. They all saying, I'm back now. They back.

They back, Carlos.

I'm like, hi.

I have a nice thing to say about her.

I found something nice. I was thinking this entire time. What was it?

She's alive.

No, no, I found something nice.

Every show, when it needs to be just, you know, zhuzhed up a little bit, and Carlos knows this as a producer, needs a villain that people can all come together to hate.

And I think she has, I'm trying to.

Give you credit, Kurt.

That's nice.

No, no. Right.

No, it was great casting because it's almost like sometimes- Well.

Martel did get the casting. Yeah, so I'm like, I didn't- And I'm glad you brought that up. He did the casting with his deke.

Right, with the deke. And that was a deal.

I mean, listen, and I've said this on Tamron Hall's show, thanks for all who watched.

Yes.

Listen, I literally was.

The one person- In the beginning, that said, it went against all of my rules of being a reality producer, right? I said to Melody, as long as you're on this show, I will.

Not bring her on.

Yeah.

Because I got a phone call from them. Are you bringing her on the show? I said, if y'all want her on, yes.

We don't.

Then she won't be here. I respect y'all enough, right?

Mm-hmm.

The only reason why she's on, because I know people are talking about it again. This is Martel's reality. I do want people to be mindful of this isn't like a woman he slept with one, two, three, five times.

And.

and Melody did not like this one person. And then 10 years later, we brought her on.

Right, right.

But gotcha, gotcha.

Like, this is a woman that, and listen, this is, and again, if you've been watching the show, right, Dustin?

Yeah.

This is, unfortunately, I don't, listen, I don't, whatever, how you want to call it?

A mistress.

This was, Coleslaw, with his own words, he even called her a peasant.

He did.

But this is the one woman he had an affair with. Like, it was just her.

Right.

And they have a baby together. So, that's why she's on because Melody is off the show. She's been off her for two years. This is his reality. And look, I think the biggest thing for me is how she... Like, Dustin's saying... When are we going to have the conversation about you alleging that Maurice and Marcel had linebackers?

That is coming. I'm surprised at Kimmy and Tisha.

I didn't want to interrupt. No, go ahead.

Because I definitely don't want to interrupt you. But I'm surprised at Kimmy and Tisha. Because the minute I saw it, I would have lost all sense of decorum. The minute I saw her walk in, I would have put my fork down and got to business. So what's up with that shit you was talking on YouTube? You said my man was fucking such and such.

What's up now? Because you here.

You wanted to be here. I would have gave you your scene that day.

I'm telling you, she's a great piñata apparently.

I would have gave you your scene that day because it's true.

Much. It is too much.

It's been too much.

And listen, it's one thing because I've seen all the episodes. And it's funny because I get to talk to.

My producers about it. But I love to talk about it because I will say this. When I got that scene, I, too.

Was surprised at how stoic.

Everyone seemed to be.

They were stunned.

Because I think, to your point, and I'm just being very honest.

Did they not know?

No, they knew. They knew. Oh, no, they knew. They knew, they knew, they knew, they knew. They definitely knew.

And I will say this. My reaction, your reaction, and I'm assuming y'all's too... The beautiful thing about this cast and this show is that also comes up in conversation.

Like the reception Arianne received.

This upcoming episode that's airing Saturday, Arianne.

For the very first.

Time is going to tell her side of how the affair happened.

Is she sympathetic?

Does she evolve?

Is she literate?

I don't want to give anything away.

Okay.

But what I will say is you are going to hear from her POV.

Okay.

For the very first time. The beginning of what happened. And I literally can't wait for y'all to talk about this.

Does the conversation happen in the apartment she has where she doesn't live with a man she's been with for 13 years and she has a baby with? Which is crazy to me that... He put her in such a position to never be respected. You sat there. You called this woman coleslaw, a side, a peasant. You let her go at the house looking like that. You didn't say she was your best friend. And you don't even live with her. And you keep making excuses and moving the goalposts like, well, you know, I'm not ready for that, but you're ready to have a baby with this woman.

It's just crazy. He has not set her up to win at all. So that tells me he doesn't have any respect for her either. He doesn't.

One word, Sharae. How did Sharae get involved in this? Because Sharae and Martell used to date.

I remember.

But how did Sharae fit into this love story of my man, my man, my man, my man that she's trying to sell us?

Exactly.

Your man and Sharae.

Exactly.

So she's always been in second or third position. She might be fourth.

Look, we don't know what the man's been caught doing.

And their son was born when he was dating Sharae in public. Are you serious? Over on Sharae's show. That's crazy.

That's crazy.

So there was like maximum exposure, which to me reflects like you're not that important to him.

That's not a prize.

That is not a prize.

He didn't care that there was, it looked like, I mean, it looked like it was staged photos. It looked like, you know what I mean? So if you have someone that you really care about, you're a little bit more careful about, you know, who you're seeing photographed with, I would think. No, he was campaigning. That's what it looked like to me.

This makes me sad. I still think she's a great villain.

I still say my one positive comment is she's a great villain.

That's the nicest I can get, because I'm sorry.

No, listen. You're not giving us much to worry about. I don't completely switch off today.

You know, listen, this is a very, listen, this is a very polarizing situation, which is why, listen, when it comes to the good or the bad, I understand it all. At the end of the day, we are just following Martel's reality, and that's just what it is.

And look, You are going.

To see a lot of what Dustin is hoping to get.

It's polarizing. I want to say why that's important to me, right?

Because I'm not.

Vilifying her, right, for being an adulteress or being complicit in adultery, right?

I'm not vilifying her for that.

Even though that doesn't sit well with me, people make that mistake every single day. And I don't think it's fair to judge people based on that, right? It's everything else. It's the commentary. It's the actions. It's the things that she said about people. It's all that stuff that together makes me frame her.

You know what I'm saying? In a certain way. It's not just that she.

It's her character, not just a mistake.

It's her actual character.

I'm judging her and I feel like I'll be damned if I am a side chick and then go on the show that my man, my man, my man started with his wife. And sit there and act so proud. And act proud. I would feel so uncomfortable.

She's a cat peeing all over Melody's house.

That's what she feels like. It felt like a cat walking around your house just peeing in the corners.

And the piss stinks.

Yeah, the piss smells bad.

All those smirks thought she was getting one over Melody. Melody don't give a damn about him anymore.

She's a peeing ass cat.

She does not give a damn about him anymore.

From a bird to a cat. She's involved in this conversation.

Nothing stinks more than cat piss.

It stays, too.

It lingers.

I remember one time my friend's cat had peed in the litter box, and I thought her breath was stinking.

But you said he don't have what I got? I was like, what did you eat?

I was like, what did you eat?

It smelled like asparagus.

It smelled like asparagus.

I was like, oh. I thought her breath was stinking. I came with a story.

Whatever a cat pees on, throw it away.

Martel, guys, go in the trash.

Sorry, I'm sorry.

Throw it away.

She peed all over him. So, Rae Draws.

Poor Carlos.
