Bronwyn was really feeling herself saying things like, I'm going to wear couture and the rest of the ladies can wear costumes.
Ultimately, to be.
Hypocrisy and bullshit.
Betrayal. Hypocrisy and bullshit.
I'm bored.
Hi, hello, and welcome to the Patreon-exclusive recap of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
I'm Pat, that's Dill, that's Ruby.
I'm Dylan, this is Ruby's show. Thanks for having us on, and that is, Dylan, who are you? I'm Pat.
Guys, we are here to break down The Real Housewives of Salt Lake. And as we mentioned on our coverage of Love is Blind, this is one of... What we witnessed on this episode was an important moment in the annals of The Real Housewives. I don't know if it's quite spooky island level, but I think that we're kind of...
This was important to the history of the franchise.
Oh, this is.
Definitely going to fall in top 25 moments that will be remembered forever.
Yeah.
So this is a big show we got coming up.
I think this will be something that I think about. I hope to die in a long time. And I hope that I remember this when I do.
It's one of those moments where you're like, do you remember where you were when you saw this?
Right.
Like 9-11.
More.
Right.
Yeah.
Michael Jackson being dead.
Yeah.
This is, I remember where I was, and this is that.
I was in an elevator with Seth MacFarlane, and I got a call, and I said, hey, Seth, Michael Jackson's dead. And he looked at me like I was a crazy person. The door opened, and he ran.
Out of the elevator.
Whoa.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Anna Nicole Smith, the passing of Anna Nicole Smith, similar. I mean, we all remember where we were.
Not so much. Well, I mean, you know.
Different strokes for different folks.
But definitely I remember this.
Bridie or this?
Equal.
Equal.
So that's its comparison, okay? That's its equal. Bridie, which was just flawless victory.
Okay.
Okay.
Can I say something about this moment that took place?
Absolutely.
What makes a great moment in reality TV is as a viewer, you're watching it and saying a few things are going on in your mind. You're saying to yourself, I can't believe these people are doing this.
Yeah, it's like watching a war documentary. You're like, I can't believe that happened. I can't believe people are capable of this war.
That's the second thing. And you're also saying to yourself, I could never do this.
Right.
What would have to be offered to me to do it? And then you run through things for like in six or seven seconds and then you get to the bottom of the list and you say, no, I can't do it. I ran through the whole list. Nothing is available.
Exactly.
These people are. The, this is an Emmy winning episode of TV. I don't know how it works in reality TV, but get it up there.
Yeah.
Vanderpump rules. People were getting wins. This is again, I just, I want this studied. I want their lack of social awareness and embarrassment. And I don't know if it's confidence, whatever it is, put it in a book. Let me read it.
Yeah.
Not a lot.
Not a big Lisa.
I'm sorry. Um, Ruby, I'm going to go three steps further than you.
Please.
We don't need a book.
Walt Disney's brain has been frozen to study or bring back to life. Lisa Barlow, when she dies, we're going to freeze her brain.
I want it studied.
I agree.
Yeah, and actually, his brain is being frozen not to study. He just said, when the minorities and the Jews are fucking dead, warm me back up. All right.
So how many wives do you give it to?
Is that a rating system or is it snowballs?
It's wives. It's wives.
It's 100 wives. This glam kittens moment.
It's a.
There are cycles, right? So the fourth turning, there are cycles. I think we get one of these maybe every seven and a half years.
The last time, I don't remember where I was when I had Bridie because Bridie, they were so remarkable. But these types, when Lenny Hochstein has the mistress at the house when she's on the trip and she's, we don't get this very often. Glam kittens is- It's in the Pantheon. It's on Mount Rushmore. I'm really, really, I think I would have to agree that I would give this 100 wives.
100 wives, wow.
Okay, so we have Baby Gorgeous, and then.
What is Meredith Marks's?
Do not give it 14 wives.
I'm not going to. What is Meredith Marks's? It's the bump queen?
Oh, I believe yes.
DJ Meredith Marks.
She's the queen of caviar, queen of bumps, queen of diamonds.
The queen of bumps, yes, yes, yes, yes.
So the first performance was A Hundred Wives.
You're talking about the rehearsal?
No.
Oh, that's right. There were two.
The encore.
Right.
The encore that was.
Unwanted, that we thought there was, I guess that Bronwyn thought that she had Recaptured the part.
No, a horde of people sang along the second time.
For that and everything, 110 wives.
Wow.
And I have to say, when a narrative is impacting, you go back, you revisit, and there are all these quasi-divine things that just slot into place. All these little details that are so perfectly... in line with what the story is trying to do. And Bronwyn throughout this episode needed to get knocked down a peg. Bronwyn was really feeling herself saying things like, I'm going to wear a couture and the rest of the ladies can wear costumes.
Ultimately.
Oh, no, no, no.
Hypocrisy and bullshit.
Betrayal. Hypocrisy and bullshit.
I'm bored.
Hypocrisy and bullshit. It's also the fact.
Hypocrisy and bullshit.
Hit it. Betrayal.
Oh no, I have to do it again, you guys. Oh my God.
When.
Okay, this is what I also will say about Bronwyn generally. The fact that she thinks that we care. I'm being slightly rude, but I'm not trying to. We don't care about who you were when you were in your 20s. We don't care about where you lived. We don't care about your friends from high school. We care about the fact that Lisa Barlow and Meredith Mars made you cry and leave your fucking party. And when you had to tell your high school friends to stop dancing because.
They loved it. I just, a hundred, a hundred times.
Now, I have to balance this out.
I have to balance this out. You do.
Because you have too much affection for Lisa Barlow. What they fucking did was cruel.
I'm bored.
And I agree with Kwai.
This, although it wouldn't have been nearly as entertaining, and it definitely would have been 110 wives, should have been done at a dinner party.
But again.
But let me ask you something. Were it to be done at a dinner party, could they have done it twice? And could the second time be accompanied by four to six dozen people?
That have known Bronwyn her entire life.
And have known them- Singing along.
Not at all.
No.
But I can't imagine if I threw a party with people that I've known since I was four.
And- Bronwyn was building, just smelling farts, her farts. She was ballooning and she was becoming this monster. She was getting all of this power. And the balloon was popped in the most unbelievable, uniquely Lisa Barlow and Meredith Marks kind of way. It was perfect.
Down in Utah, the guys and I dig a city called Salt Lake. It's got the grooviest kids, that's why we never get tired of Salt Lake.
And the way the kids talk so cool isn't out of sight, babe.
And the number one.
Salt Lake City We'll be there soon There's a park near the.
City All the kids dig the lagoon now.
It's full of all kinds of girls that
Rise And we'll be flying there soon now
